Harry has just finished his second year of Hogwarts and has come home. But suddenly Severus Snape is knocking at the Dursleys door saying that Harry needs to be taken away to be under strict supervision because Sirius black as escaped and is after him. Harry is now under the care of Severus for the summer until Sirius is caught. But Snape soon seems to realize that this child needs to be protected in more ways than one.

Severus Snape has a plan: watch over Harry Potter while he grows up, since Dumbledore doesn't seem too worried about how Petunia Dursley will treat her nephew. To do this, there are a few things he needs. A house on Privet Drive. An excuse to see Harry regularly. And an accomplice who can be there year-round while he's teaching at Hogwarts.
Good thing you'd have to be mad to break into Azkaban. At this point, Severus thinks he counts.
