Bubble Brained: an HDG Hypnosis Script

Summary:

You're having a little trouble adjusting to your wardship in the affini compact - your warden is just so touchy-feely, and you're not super comfortable with it... So you've been sent to Diona Gracilis's Hypnotherapy to work on your issues. Maybe she can help with the overthinking you've been doing?

Notes:

This is the script for a hypnotic audio file. Reading this script probably won't give you the full experience; if you'd like to experience "Bubble Brained" for yourself, you can listen to it here:

Bubble Brained - Alternate Cut

Work Text:

Hi there. I’m Cadence, or Cady for short, and today I’m going to be telling a mesmerizing story set in the Human Domestication Guide universe. You play the role of a warden who gets sent to one of Diona’s hypnotherapy session to help overcome some overthinking and intimacy issues, and gets a fun new toy in their brain as a result.

Themes and possible trigger warnings include: soft bimbofication, a brain drain trigger, references to submission and control, encouragement to accept nonsexual touch, and more.

This is a hypnotic audio file, so if you follow along, you may feel yourself drawn into elements of the story, as if you’re reading a book you’re deeply immersed in. This is perfectly normal, safe, and encouraged. This file will also insert a bubble trigger in your mind, that makes your thoughts go pop - you are free to take that with you, or leave it, at your discretion.

Femme affini, gender neutral listener. Please note that Diona Gracilis is not actually a licensed hypnotherapist.

<bubble pipe SFX>

D: Why hello, darling. Come. Sit. Make yourself comfortable. I’m Diona Gracilis, 6th Bloom, and I was asked to sit in on a session with you today.

Don’t mind my pipe, the bubbles are harmless.

Your warden told me that you’re struggling with affection. Just the normal petting and cuddling that any affini would dote on their ward with. This is something that may come up at your wardship hearing, so it’s a good idea to address it sooner rather than later. And I’m fairly sure most of this comes from overthinking

You think a lot, don’t you? If I know terran rescues - and I do know terran rescues - you all spend so much time overthinking and worrying about every~ little~ thing~. So many silly little worries.

Some worry about asking for too much, in a society that has moved beyond scarcity. <POP>

Some worry about ulterior motives, as though there were anything terrans could offer us beyond companionship. <POP>

Some worry about becoming our pets, as though they weren’t already xenosophonts in our care. <POP> As if becoming a floret wasn’t a joyful promise of a life full of happiness. <POP>

These worries may have made sense in the past, under capitalism, under the accord. But now… well… wouldn’t it be nice to just let them go? Let them float away, like bubbles from my pipe, to just go “pop” <POP> and disappear?

See how the bubbles shimmer and shine in the light? The way the light refracts around them? You can focus on that for a moment. Just follow one of the bubbles as it goes up, and up, and up, and… pop. There it goes, disappearing into nothingness. Ephemeral. Like thoughts in a terran mind.

It’s so easy to let go of thoughts, isn’t it? So easy to feel your worries slowly shedding away. Just find a worrisome thought, take a deep breath, and imagine blowing it up into a bubble, so as you exhale, it can just… float away. Shimmering and shining in the air, so pretty, so empty… And eventually… <POP> There it goes!

Now you try. Just find a thought that worries you. Take a deep breath. And imagine blowing a fun little bubble with it. Let that bubble rise up, and up, and up, and just… <POP>.

That’s it. There really isn’t much to worry about in the compact. And this exercise can be helpful in letting go of those worries. Just relax, breathe deep, and let those worries float away. You don’t need them any more. You’re safe, you’re comfortable, and you deserve to feel good. Just breathe deep… gather up those worries… breathe out… and let them go. Let them float away. Let them just go “pop”. <POP>

And as you find your mind increasingly empty, you’re welcome to just lean back, and let that emptiness overtake you. Letting yourself go just a little more with every little “pop” <POP>, letting yourself sink a little deeper with every breath.

<POP> Your thoughts go pop.

<POP> Your mind just stops.

<POP> Your brain goes flop

<POP> And you just drop

<repeated in the background>

And it’s so relaxing, isn’t it? So calm, and happy, and warm. Let your thoughts become light. Happy. Silly. There’s nothing to worry about, so your mind can focus on feeling good. We can focus on filling that empty, happy head with better thoughts. With bubbly, happy, giggly thoughts.

Oh darling, do you worry about needing to be smart? Because I promise you, in the Affini Compact, that’s not something you need to worry about. And you already know what to do with worries, don’t you? Breathe deep. Gather that worry up. Breathe it out. Watch it go pop! <POP>

In the Compact, you’re allowed to be just as dumb, giggly, and ditzy as you’d like! And I get the feeling that without those worries, you want to be very dumb, giggly, and ditzy. Doesn’t that sound fun? Being a dumb, giggly, ditzy airhead?

Oh, darling, you’re barely even conflicted about that one. The idea is so fun to you, and all your worries have just flown away, so there’s no reason not to just embrace it! The bubbles are in your head already. You can just breathe deep, let go, watch those worries go, and…

<POP> Fall

Nice and easy. Nice and deep. Like you’re being carried down on a soft pillow of bubbles, letting them pop one by one <bubbles popping SFX>, each one dropping you further down, leaving you feeling just a little more giggly, a little more agreeable, a little more silly and dumb. That’s it. You’re doing so well for me. Such a good little dummy. Filling your head with silly pink bubbles. Just like the bubbles from my pipe. Happy silly soap bubbles, filling your brain with slick smooth silliness.

Aww… Terrans are so adorable. When you came in here, you were nervous about such basic things as your affini touching you. And now you’re just here, head full of bubbles that make you feel giggly and silly and dumb. Pop pop pop! I bet you wouldn’t even be bothered if I reached out a vine and stroked it along your adorable little head like this… Aww… so cute. So adorable. You like that, don’t you? Doesn’t it feel nice? Good little pet. See how easy it is to sink into that warm, submissive feeling? Silly, giggly terran. Coochie coochie coo!

Aww… so empty. So silly. Bubbles in your mind go pop, and all your thoughts go pop with them, leaving you empty and happy and silly and giggly.

And with all that empty space in your mind, maybe it’s best if we… did a little remodeling.

For example, you worry about the way your ownaaaer touches you. But darling, isn’t it silly to worry about how a person touches a pet? When a terran picks up their pet cat, there’s nothing untoward or sexual about it. And in the affini compact, you’re a pet, not a person. Your warden means well - all affini do! So you’re not going to be bothered when they show their pet some basic affection, are you? No. Instead…

<brought to the fore>

<POP> Your thoughts go pop.

<POP> Your mind just stops.

<POP> Your brain goes dumb

<POP> And you just drop

You don’t have to worry about it. And I think by now you know how to deal with those worries. Breathe deep. Gather up those worries. Breathe them out. And watch them go pop as your brain fills up with happy, giggly bubbles. Pop pop pop pop, blowing bubbles in your mind, pop pop pop pop, let them leave your thoughts behind. Silly little pet. You don’t have to worry about being treated like a pet. Even as an independent, that’s what you are. A giggly, silly, thoughtless pet with a brain full of bubbles.

And when you’re a silly, thoughtless pet, it feels so good to be pet. It feels so nice when my tendrils run along your scalp, so nice as my vines gently lift you out of your seat and hold you to my breast. There, nice and soft. There’s nothing sexual about this. I’m simply cuddling an adorable, empty-headed pet. You’re so cute, and pleasant. Here… I’m going to give you this bubble pipe. Why don’t you take a nice, deep breath in…

<bubble pipe sfx>

That’s it. Feel it filling you with bubbles, filling the empty spaces in that silly little head with warm, pink, shimmering bubbles. Can you feel that warm, thrumming, tingling sensation as you do? Pop pop pop, filling your head with silly tingles; pop pop pop, letting the sensory enhancing drugs sink into your brain…

<POP> Your thoughts go pop.

<POP> Your mind just stops.

<POP> Your brain goes flop

<POP> And you just drop

Silly, giggly, dumb pet. Look at you, you’re already so much better. Curled up in my arms, snuggling into my breasts, enjoying the feeling of my approval thrumming through you as I pet you. Wouldn’t it be so much easier if you took this enjoyment with you when you left, and showed your warden this same side of you? Wouldn’t it be so nice to be able to enjoy this empty-headed, enjoyable sensation with your warden, who’s so kind to you? Here, take the pipe again. Breathe deep. Enjoy the pleasant feeling of the drugs sinking into your mind.

<POP> Your thoughts go pop.

<POP> Your mind just stops.

<POP> Your brain goes flop

<POP> And you just drop

Aww, getting all fuzzy, getting even more susceptible to the sensation of my approval, giggling like a cute little dummy as I pet you. Good pet. You’re doing so well for me. Such a silly giggly pet. Head full of bubbles, pop pop pop. Every little bubble popping leaving that mind emptier… and the emptier your mind is, the more space there is to be occupied by my approval. My warmth. The silly bubbly giggly dumb sensations that make you feel so good.

Pop. Pop. Pop. Pop.

Good pet. I’m sure that if you take this attitude with you to your warden, you’ll have a much nicer time with them. Now, I’m going to slowly bring you back up out of trance, okay? Just follow my words, let them guide you back up, 1… 2… 3… 4… 5… <POP>

Oh no, did you forget to resist the trigger? Whoops, there go all your thoughts again, pop pop pop, drip drop, falling back down into that happy, silly, giggly state. Bubbles popping in that silly mind of yours, dropping you right back down deep. Oh dear. I know how fun it is to just let all those thoughts go, but we do need to try again, and get you back up up up… 1… 2… 3… 4… 5… Up up up, coming back to yourself, and… <POP>

Oh darling, I know it’s so hard to resist, and so easy to just let your mind fill with bubbles, and so much fun… Do I really need to wake you back up? Or can I just send you back to your warden like this? One more try. 1… 2… 3… 4… 5… Up up up… <POP>

Silly happy pet. All it takes is one stray bubble from my pipe, and you’re popping and stopping and dripping and dropping deeper and deeper. Pop pop pop! Such a silly little trigger for such a silly little pet. And so distractable! Why, if nobody was watching out for you, you might get into all sorts of trouble! Thank goodness you have your lovely warden to make sure everything’s all right. You should thank her next time you see her. But now, really, it’s time to bring you back up. 1… 2… 3… <POP>

I lost you again, didn’t I? Oh well. I guess you can just stay like this, then. Happy, silly, giggly, dumb, and bubble-brained. Thank you so much for doing such a wonderful job paying attention to my words. Hopefully I’ll see you again soon! Good pet. You’ll make a wonderful floret for your warden, I’m sure.

<repeating bubble Pop sounds>

<papers flipping>

…and as we come to the end of our story, I would like to take a moment of your focus to remind you that, as immersive as the story may be, you are not that little ward. You are a full sophont, and your mind will be able to think fully for itself once we’re done here.

You may have noticed that there’s a fun new toy in your brain, a trigger. Whenever you, or someone else you trust to control you, makes a “pop” sound, and you’re in a safe place to feel silly and dumb, you may find your thoughts going pop as well. You are welcome to keep this trigger for as long as it remains fun, safe, and useful for you - or, you are welcome to just let it go at any time. None of this is forced on you - it is ultimately a fun game that you can stop playing whenever you want.

Either way, I’m glad you came to my storytime, and I hope you enjoyed yourself.

I’m going to count slowly up from 1 to 5, and when I reach five, you’ll find yourself fully awake, aware in the knowledge that this story, however fun, is not your reality.

  1. Thoughts slowly returning to your silly head.
  2. Wiggling your fingers, wiggling your toes, feeling motion return to you
  3. Eyes fluttering open, becoming aware of your surroundings
  4. Feeling grounded and safe, taking a nice, deep breath… And
  5. All the way up, coming back to yourself, feeling warm, calm, and safe.

Any feelings you experience from here on out are yours, not anyone else’s. I hope you are relaxed and safe. When you’re done listening to this, you should get up and get some water. If I made it right, this experience may have been fairly intense. I recommend doing something emotionally comforting - I like wrapping myself in a blanket and watching cartoons, or going for a walk, if the weather allows.

Much love to the Human Domestication Guide community, and to Schnozzberry for releasing their immaculate “Biorhythm” audios for soundscaping,

Massive thanks to Hardlight System as well.
