Chapter Text

Meredith rolled off of Addison, skin warm and breathless, then pulled her close. Addison laid her head on Meredith’s shoulder, dropping a soft kiss there.

“You know,” Meredith started, tone light. “It’s kind of a miracle you haven’t gotten pregnant.” She laughed softly, kissing Addison’s forehead.

Addison’s hand stopped where it was tracing patterns on Meredith’s stomach, her breath hitched just slightly, almost unnoticeable. But Meredith noticed everything about her.

“Addie?” She prompted, lacing their fingers together. Addison lifted her head to look at Meredith.

“Would that be such a bad thing?” Her voice was barely a whisper, hesitation and fear lingering in the question, her eyes vulnerable.

Meredith looked at her, brushed a few stray red curls away from her face, and her gaze softened. They had been together for close to a year, and Meredith couldn’t picture her life, her future with anyone else. Addison was it. But babies? That was a part of life that Meredith had closed the door on a long time ago. Or so she thought. Between Ellis and Thatcher, she didn’t have high hopes for what she would be as a parent. So, removing it as an option entirely was the safest bet. But looking at Addison now, morning light reflecting off her hair, sheets tangled around her waist – A life with her babies didn’t sound so bad. It sounded… complete.

“No…” Meredith exhaled. “No, I don’t think it would be a bad thing.” She swallowed hard, watching relief and love – so much love – wash over Addison’s face.

Addison sat up, her eyes never leaving Meredith’s face. “Really?” She whispered, holding back a smile in case this was some twisted joke.

Meredith sat up next to her and cupped her cheek, her thumb stroked the smooth skin of Addison’s face. Her voice was warm, steady, when she spoke again. “Really.” Meredith blushed, shy like she was embarrassed to admit she was thinking of their future together.

Addison exhaled the breath she was holding, part of it a deep sigh, part of it a relieved laugh. Then, she smiled, really smiled. Her eyes were bright, crinkling at the edges, and she covered Meredith’s hand with her own. For a long moment, they sat in silence, taking each other in and letting possibilities rush through their minds.

Then Addison leaned forward slowly and cupped Meredith’s face between her hands, pushing her hair off her forehead, and kissed her. Deep, loving, pouring promise into it. Meredith held onto her wrist as if to keep her right there, kissing her back until her breath was gone. They pulled apart and rested their foreheads together, eyes still closed, smiles dancing on their faces.

“I want everything with you, Addie.” Meredith whispered against her lips.

Addison swallowed, biting her lip as tears pricked at her eyes. She laid back and pulled Meredith on top of her, comfortable in the warmth coming off her. Meredith let her eyes rake across her face, catching a stray tear on her thumb as her fingers traced lightly over Addison’s bottom lip. Her chest ached like it was too full of love, like Addison had unlocked something hidden deep in her. She dipped her head, kissing her again. Softer but just as weighted.

Addison’s hands wandered along Meredith’s waist, around to her back, down her arms. Feeling her like touch was the only way to express the love overflowing from her.

“I love you.” She said, quiet as to not disturb the peace of the bedroom. Meredith blushed, ducking her head into the crook of Addison’s neck, nuzzling there and inhaling.

“I love you too,” She murmured against the soft skin, kissing the spot. Her hands wandered into Addison’s red curls while she kissed along her jaw.

A content sigh fell from Addison’s lips, her hands gripping Meredith’s waist tighter, her hips rolling unconsciously upward. Meredith began to kiss down Addison’s body, soft and open-mouthed, down her neck to her chest, between her breasts. When she reached her stomach, she felt Addison’s hands grasp at her shoulders, pulling her back up.

“I want you right here. With me.” Addison tugged her down into a kiss that Meredith couldn’t help but smile into.

Addison’s hands slid back down to Meredith’s waist, her nails scratching lightly in a way she knew drove Meredith crazy. Then she rolled her hips upward again, purposeful, delighting in the way Meredith sucked in a breath. She didn’t stop, her hips grinding against Meredith, making her grow harder as her own arousal heightened, wetness slipping between her thighs. Addison’s eyes fluttered shut, savoring the feeling of their bodies pressed together and the effect she had on Meredith.

“You feel so good,” Addison whimpered.

Meredith reached for one of Addison’s hands, moving it from her waist and guiding it between them to her cock, groaning when Addison started to stroke her gently. Her hands were warm, always so soft, pumping slowly until Meredith was fully erect.

Meredith sat back on her knees, Addison’s hand still working her, and looked at the way her hair was sprawled against the pillows, cheeks flushed, eyes full of love. She let Addie guide her forward, their breaths hitching when the tip of Meredith’s cock brushed just inside. Meredith pushed the rest of the way in and pressed her body back against Addison’s. They laid there for a moment, Addison stroking Meredith’s hair and Meredith cupping Addison’s cheek, Addison hot and wet around her. Sex together was always great. Perfect even. An extension of their love. But this felt different. Heavier with choice, a vow.

Meredith kissed her, soft and sweet, as she started to move her hips, steady and deep. Addison moaned against her lips, fighting back the urge to cry at the feeling of this moment together. She wrapped her arms tightly around Meredith’s shoulders, letting their foreheads rest against each other while Meredith fucked her sweetly. Addison moaned and tightened her arms around Meredith, then clenched tightly on her next thrust.

“Oh, Addie.” Meredith pressed deeper, throwing her head back at the sensation. “You’re – fuck,” She felt more of Addison’s arousal seep out. “Perfect. You’re… everything.” She kissed her again, tugging on her bottom lip.

Meredith slid her hand down and gripped Addison’s thigh, lifting it slightly and letting her hit that sweet spot inside of her.

Meredith,” Addison gasped, her nails leaving crescent-shaped marks on Meredith’s shoulders.

Addison was close and Meredith could feel it in the way her body trembled lightly, the way her breaths went shallow, her brow furrowed.

“You’re holding it,” Meredith panted, biting her lip when Addison clenched again.

“I want to cum with you,” Addison whispered, pushing the sweaty hair off Meredith’s forehead. “Together.”

Meredith slowed her pace, letting the tension in Addison’s body cool, and kissed the corner of her mouth. Addison tightened again, moaning at the feeling of Meredith’s cock inside her. “Mmm, I’m not gonna last much longer if you keep doing that.” Her hips stuttered and a smirk played on Addison’s lips.

Meredith gradually picked up her pace, feeling the pull in her lower belly as Addison kept playing with her. She leaned down and tucked her head into the slope of Addison’s neck, exhaling sharp and hot against it. Then she came, releasing into her just as Addison’s walls fluttered and her body arched up into Meredith’s touch. Meredith fucked her through it, pushing in against the resistance, back into a mix of her and Addison until the redhead’s body relaxed.

“Kiss me,” Addison weakly requested, moaning when their lips met, squeezing Meredith’s waist.

They broke for air, catching their breaths, and Meredith nuzzled Addison’s cheek, fully content. She scooted down and carefully pulled out then rested her head on Addison’s chest, hugging her tightly, purring when Addison’s arms wrapped around her.

“I love you, Addison,” she murmured against her collarbone. “And I meant it – I want this, a life, with you.”

Addison didn’t say anything, just pulled Meredith in tighter and let a small laugh fall from her mouth like it overflowed from her smile.
