Pairing: Hua Yong/Sheng Shaoyou or Huang Xing/Qiu Dingjie
I’ll illustrate using the Hua Yong/Sheng Shaoyou pairing.

Surrogacy AU.
Sheng Shaoyou (omega) — a figure skater with impressive achievements, hoping to stand on the podium at the upcoming Olympics — gets injured, and all his dreams shatter. He falls into depression, and due to the injury, he cannot train. His friend (Gao Tu? or someone else), trying to snap him out of it, suggests he participate in a surrogacy program. Sheng Shaoyou hesitates for a while but eventually agrees.
Hua Yong, the powerful young owner of X Holdings, is a rare enigma who is attracted to no one, neither physically nor romantically. Yet despite this, he feels lonely. Shen Wenlang, his annoying childhood friend, suggests he have a child (which could solve his loneliness problem) through surrogacy. Hua Yong finds the idea absurd but intriguing. He does not expect that the surrogate carrying his future child will completely overturn everything he thought he knew about love and awaken a desire he believed he could never feel.
- Initially, Hua Yong plans for conception without physical contact, but after meeting Sheng Shaoyou, he changes his mind (how he negotiates this with Sheng Shaoyou is open to interpretation);
- Hua Yong helps Sheng Shaoyou heal — both emotionally and physically;
- Hua Yong names the child after realizing he wants the child to be "theirs," not "his" (like canon: Hua Sheng);
- Sheng Shaoyou wins gold at the Olympics three years after Hua Sheng’s birth. Hua Yong and the child watch from the stands; they sit together with him in the kiss-and-cry during the score announcement, with Hua Sheng on Sheng Shaoyou’s lap;
- Olympic commentators narrate Sheng Shaoyou’s journey to winning Olympic gold.
