Chapter 1: Feeling different

Chapter Text

The Upside-Down had finally been tamed, Vecna was dead. Eleven was hiding until the military cleared out of Hawkins. Robin was beyond relieved, her nightmare of a life was now rid of its cause. Their group fell into a weird funk shortly after the Upside-Down had been closed for good. Nancy and Jonathan, long broken up, tried to remain normal about each other but it seemed they both wanted space. Steve was rushing around trying to help in the rebuilding of their small town society. But for Robin she just seemed lost. The kids, (or teens as they’ve corrected many times) had been more welcoming to Robin after they realized she wasn’t going anywhere (which was fueled by Steve and Dustin’s constant reminders). So her days were filled with helping the Byers move into Hopper's cabin, being there for Jane when she felt lonely, helping Max with her physical therapy (She got to see Vickie but they were slowly drifting apart). She barely had any time for herself but she just couldn’t seem to say no. Especially to Nancy, any call that comes with a request always gets a “Yeah I’m on my way” for anyone else but if it’s Nancy it’s “Be there soon!” Robin could safely admit to herself that she had developed a crush on Nancy, hell she’s had it ever since they graduated. Ever since Nancy dragged her into a conspiracy involving Joey Taft and General Rose.

Even thinking about that day made her feel warmth flutter through her chest. But lately Robin has felt like Nancy might feel the same way, her lingering smile, her louder laugh when Robin is around, all the small details that entered Robin's brain and slowly developed roots into her heart. She knew Vickie was waiting for the right moment to break up with her, and Robin wasn’t sad about it, they’d run their course of normal before eventually being thrown into hell arms reaching for each other even if it wasn’t full of love anymore. So needless to say Robin had started spending more time with Nancy, Steve would constantly tease her about “Going after his ex” but he really didn’t mind, he was over Nancy and was actively helping Robin get with Nancy, even if that meant spilling secrets he swore to never tell. So now Robin was on her way to Nancy’s house with a Terminator VHS, a Ham and Bacon pizza along with a thing of raspberry Snapple. Steve was taking her but he made sure to leave as soon as she gave him a signal. Robin tapped the door with her foot hard enough to sound like a knock but not like she was kicking the door down. Mike answered.

“Oh hey Robin, Nancy’s upstairs.” Mike said casually. Robin nodded and tried to walk inside without dropping anything. Mike grabbed the pizza and followed her up. This gave Robin time to check in on him as she’d been employed by Nancy to help Mike with his “Feelings.”

“So how’s things with you and Will?” Robin asked.

“They’re good, I’m really happy, thank you.” Mike added. Robin smiled as Mike knocked on Nancy’s door, Robin could hear a muffled “Shit!” coming from inside, Mike looked at Robin slightly confused and Robin looked at him puzzled. Nancy swung the door open frantically, her cheeks were red with what seemed to be embarrassment, her smile seemed strained but that’s not what caught Robin’s eye first. Nancy was wearing sweatpants, and a sweater, she’s never seen Nancy in such casual clothing, hell this wasn’t even casual it was what Robin would call a Lazy day outfit. But she shook the thought out of her mind.

“Hey sorry caught me off guard!” Nancy breathed.

“It’s alright I didn’t tell you I was coming, but I figured we could do a movie night? Terminator with a pizza and a nice big thing of raspberry tea.” Robin exclaimed with a bright smile. Nancy’s face seemed to ease more and more as the smell of the pizza filled her nostrils.

“Suspicious that you know my favorites.” Nancy whispered playfully.

“How could I call myself your friend if I didn’t know this stuff?” Robin deflected. Nancy hummed in suspicion but moved out of the way to let Robin in as she took the pizza from Mike.

“What do I owe you?” Nancy joked.

“How about you keep it down? I don’t need to hear you two all night.” Mike said, rolling his eyes. Robin began to laugh but she slowly stopped as she saw Nancy shushing Mike and swatting him away from her doorframe. This is twice now that Nancy has appeared uncomfortable.

“Nance? You ok? If you don’t want to have-” Robin began.

“NO! I mean. No, I want to have a movie night. I'm just a little stressed out y’know?” Nancy offers.

“Yeah, I get that. If you wanna talk, it's not even dark yet, we could head up onto the roof.” Robin offered, Nancy nodded and Robin quickly slid the window up and climbed out first, offering a hand to Nancy. When Nancy grabbed Robin’s hand it felt different, softer. Nancy had always had a firm grip, always feeling authoritative, but now she seemed all over, but the softer hand was new, but it was nice. They settled onto their usual flat spot and looked towards the sun.

“So what’s been stressing the woman of steel?” Robin pondered. Nancy sighed with a small grin that faded into a sad stare.

“I’ve been so consumed with the military interrogations, finding time to get ready for college, helping the town. And y’know I've just felt shitty in general.” Nancy huffed and explained. Robin noticed Nancy’s sorrow filled eyes and it made her heart ache.

“I can understand the first half but what’s the general shittyness?” Robin questioned.

“Promsie you won’t get mad?” Nancy semi pleaded. Robin gulped a swallow as she braced for the worst.

“Promise.” Robin agreed. Nancy sighed.

“I’ve let myself go. I’m not prepared, I don’t have a guard anymore, hell I haven’t shot anything in a month!” Nancy said, flopping onto her back. Robin began to chuckle as she found it cute that Nancy thought she would be mad at her for relaxing. But she stopped when she looked down at Nancy. Her sweater had ridden up slightly, and if Robin had been told that she had a staring problem she would have agreed. Nancy laying on her back had accidentally revealed the true meaning to her words, Nancy Wheeler had gotten chubby. Robin wouldn’t say fat because it seems rude but there is no mistaking the bulge that now took place where Nancy’s slender figure used to be. Robin now understood what Nancy meant, but the odd thing about it was that the usual small heat in her chest felt warmer and stronger. Nancy quickly realized her sweater had revealed her secret and quickly pulled it back down. Robin tried to act casual like she hadn’t noticed. Nancy seemed too preoccupied with her sweater not wanting to stay down. Finally she sat up and returned to hiding her new weight. They both sat in silence for a little, watching the sun set as both of them slowly relaxed. Nancy’s shoulder slowly connected with Robin’s, they both eased into the connection.

“Robin.” Nancy said softly.

“Yeah Nancy?” Robin responded.

“I love you.” Nancy confessed quietly. Robin’s heart began to pound in her chest, her chest was heating up and her face felt on fire. Nancy just said the words she has been terrified to say to any girl ever, but Nancy is having a moment where she feels terrible. Robin has to say something.

“I love you too Nance.” Robin says softly leaning into Nancy more. She can feel Nancy relax more, her shoulders less tense.

“I mean it, not like a friend loves their friend.” Nancy paused and took a deep breath. “I love You Robin Buckley, and I know you’re dating Vickie and I know you wouldn’t want me after I’ve let myself…” Nancy paused and looked down.

“Because you’ve relaxed?” Robin questioned.

“I wouldn’t call it relaxing.” Nancy said with spite.

“I know but….” Robin stops before she can finish her thought. “I don’t love vickie anymore!” Robin snaps. Nancy snaps her head towards Robin.

“But you guys are so good for each other!” Nancy exclaims.

“We were good for each other, but after the whole explosion of the upside-down, and getting captured by the military? We’ve both been drifting, slowly. We haven’t officially broken up yet but we're done. And I’m not that upset honestly.” Robin vents. Robin turned her head to face Nancy, both of them looked at each other with pure affection, Robin’s small smile broke through Nancy’s self hatred, while Nancy’s soft smile entered Robin’s loving heart.

“So I guess you saw?” Nancy said sheepishly.

“Yeah I uh… saw.” Robin tried to sound casual. Nancy’s eyes sank as she looked down.

“It’s disgusting. I-I hate that I even let it happen.” Nancy murmured. Robin’s heart began to slowly crack open as Nancy’s self deprecation left her.

“Nance… it’s-” Robin started.

“Gross? I know, I know it is. I wish it would go away but i just can’t and-” Nancy began to say but she was silenced by Robin’s lips colliding with hers. At first Nancy was confused and startled, but she eased and returned the kiss. Robin reached around to pull Nancy closer, Nancy flinched at Robin touching her side. They both shot apart.

“I-I’m sorry I should have asked! I'm so sorry I’ll..I’ll leave.” Robin blurtted out. Nancy grabbed ahold of Robin’s arm before she could stand.

“No, please don’t leave. I just didn’t know how to react. Please stay, I want you to stay.” Nancy pleaded. Robin sat back down and looked into Nancy’s teary eyes.

“I’m sorry, I just didn’t want to make you feel uncomfortable.” Robin mumbled.

“You never make me uncomfortable. I was just shocked that you wanted to touch it.” Nancy paused to grab her side. “All this.” She finished. Robin huffed a small laugh.

“Nance you should know by now that I do not judge people based on how they look. Plus if you let me finish the sentence I was saying earlier you’ll understand.” Robin explained. Nancy nodded and Robin turned her body to face Nancy.

“Your body is not disgusting, it’s not gross, it’s honestly the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, and if people can’t realize that then I will be here to love all of you.” Robin said softly, she grabbed Nancy’s hands and squeezed them softly.

“You don’t mean that.” Nancy choked out.

“I do and I’ll prove it.” Robin said. She dropped Nancy’s hands and moved them down to her shirt, she looked up at Nancy who looked confused.

“Can I?” Robin asked softly. Nancy nodded hesitantly. Robin raised Nancy’s sweater, now that Nancy was sitting up Robin could fully see the new curve that Nancy hid, Robin couldn’t think, she knew Nancy saw something to be ashamed of, but Robin saw something she wanted to grab and never let go of. So she chose the latter, she kissed Nancy’s new soft belly. She could hear Nancy’s breath catch but she didn’t stop Robin. After a few seconds Robin stopped and looked up at Nancy, her face was in shock but Robin could tell that she had made Nancy happy, and that’s all she ever wanted to do.

“Belive me now Wheeler?” Robin asked with a grin.

“Yeah…I believe you.” Nancy said with heavy breaths. Robin pulled Nancy into an embrace, she could feel the small bulge of Nancy’s stomach touching hers and that only made Robin pull her in closer.

“I love you Nancy, no matter what you look like, I love you.” Robin whispered into Nancy’s ear. Nancy didn’t reply but she didn’t need to. They pulled apart, and soon climbed back into Nancy’s room. Robin started the movie while Nancy curled up on her bed, she had brought the pizza over and was waiting for Robin to bring the tea before she dug in, the movie started and both of them were curled up next to each other, Robin was on her second slice while Nancy had finished her first one a while ago. A small rumble broke Robin’s focus and turned to Nancy whose face had turned red.

“S-Sorry I’m still hungry but I’m trying to cut back.” Nancy apologized. This only made Robin’s heart ache for Nancy.

“Nance it’s ok, if you’re hungry you’re hungry there’s no shame in it. Besides there’s five slices left, dig in.” Robin explained. Nancy nodded and grabbed another slice. They both settled back into the bed, they both leaned into each other, Nancy no longer fearing Robin’s reaction to taking more pizza had finished off the box after Robin had another slice. The big thing of tea that Robin brought was almost exclusively for Nancy even if she offered it to Robin, she wanted Nancy to feel comfortable. The movie finished up and the bottle of tea was empty along with the pizza box with only small crumbs left inside. Nancy was leaning back against her headboard one hand on her stomach the other in Robin’s hand.

“I can see why you like that movie, Sarah Conner is a badass.” Robin joked.

“Yeah she’s-” Nancy began but a burp cut her off, the red embarrassment returned to her cheeks. Robin laughed.

“Hell yeah! I think you could rival Steve with that burp Nance.” Robin said supportively. Nancy smiled and patted her stomach a bit.

“It’s so stiff right now. I couldn’t eat another bite of anything.” Nancy said with an amused tone. Robin giggled but behind her laughter and smile, she was turned on. Seeing Nancy so relaxed, so full made Robin feel good, Vickie had never made her feel this way.

“Well I hope that’s not true because there is one last thing I brought.” Robin implied sheepishly. Nancy looked at her with intrigue. She adjusted herself with a grunt.

“What did Rockin’ Robin bring?” Nancy cooed. Robin’s stomach had butterflies. Robin pulled a package of doubled stuffed oreos from her bag.

“I figured we could split them but I have a better idea.” Robin said with a sly grin. Nancy looked at the packaging and then to Robin.

“What’s your idea?” Nancy asked. This was it, time for Robin to either sink or swim.

“I want to feed these oreos to you, I don't want you lifting a single finger, I want to take care of you Nance, I wanna make you feel more relaxed and comfortable. And I may or may not think you look very very sexy stuffed to the brim.” Robin rambbled. She closed her eyes awaiting the worst, but when she heard Nancy laugh softly she slowly opened her eyes. Nancy didn’t look mad, in fact she seemed happy.

“So let me get this straight, you Robin Buckley, want to feed me, even though I’m already very full, and you like how I look so much it’s turned you on?” Nancy questioned. Rubin gulped.

“Y-yeah, i uh… yes to all of that.” Robin struggled to speak. Nancy giggled some more.

“Well then what are you waiting for? Come take care of me.” Nancy said, laying back and resting her hands on her bloated belly. Robin could have died and gone to heaven at that moment. She scooted closer and opened up the package, grabbing a cookie she held it up to Nancy’s mouth she slowly opened it to let Robin feed her, Nancy chewed slowly and Robin could swear she heard Nancy moan slightly. After a few more Nancy asked Robin to lift up her sweater, she did that and saw the bloated stiff belly that had been attempting to escape its grasp. Nancy started to rub her belly but Robin stopped her.

“Not a finger Wheeler.” Robin reminded her. Nancy obliged and let Robin start rubbing it. Nancy smiled and closed her eyes as Robin rubbed smooth circles on her belly. Robin kept feeding Nancy and slowly Nancy began to moan more and more as she ate each cookie. After she had eaten the last one she was panting. They had adjusted to where Robin was laying right next to Nancy rubbing her swollen gut

“Ohhhh…. Robin, it hurts, but it feels so good.” Nancy moaned with pleasure.

“It’s ok baby you did so good, I’m so proud of you.” Robin cooed into Nancy’s ear.

“God I wish we did this sooner, I had a crush on you after I saw just how much you cared about everyone, now I want this forever.” Nancy moaned. Robin giggled but a bubble of guilt arose in her gut, she hadn’t officially broken up with Vickie yet. Nancy could see the worry on Robin’s face and grabbed Robin’s hand.

“Hey, if you want to call her, take some time. I know this is a lot right now.” Nancy soothed. Robin nodded and reached for the phone. She knew Vickie's number like the back of her hand and soon the phone was ringing. When a crack came over the line Robin’s heart thudded in her chest.

“Hello?” Vickie greeted.

“Hey vickie it’s Robin.” Robin said sheepishly.

“Oh.. Uh hi what’s up?” Vickie hesitated. Robin hated herself at that moment.

“I wanted to talk, and kinda maybe officially break up?” Robin said with fear. She waited for the worst but she only heard a small laugh.

“That’s funny because I was just about to do the same thing.” Vickie stated. Robin released a breath she didn’t know she was holding in.

“Oh.. well I guess that means we’re done?” Robin asked.

“Yeah, I’m sorry that it didn’t work out, but your life just didn’t have room for someone who didn't understand it all, but I know there’s someone there that understands it so I think you’re better off with them.” Vickie said softly. Robin groaned.

“Not you too, how many times do I have to say me and Steve are 100% completely platonic with a capital P!” Robin explained. Vickie laughed on the other end.

“No not Steve, Nancy, I’ve seen the way she looks at you, she loves you Robbie and I soon realized I couldn’t love you like she does, besides I’m getting the hell out of this town, I didn’t want to break your heart and I know you didn’t want to break mine, so in a way this is also a goodbye. I hope everything goes well for you.” Vickie stated.

“Goodbye Vickie I hope everything goes well for you too.” Robin replied and then hung up. She turned her head towards Nancy who was still laying back her right hand resting on the swollen bump of her gut.

“There’s no tears so I’m assuming everything went ok?” Nancy asked. Robin replied by closing the distance between them and passionately kissing Nancy.

“More than ok.” Robin said sweetly. They both sat next to each other and leaned on one another for a bit. Nancy yawned which made Robin look over to her clock to realize it was almost midnight.

“We should probably get some sleep.” Robin suggested. Nancy nodded and slipped under her blanket. Robin began to get up but Nancy grabbed her arm before she could go onto the floor.

“What are you doing?” Nancy questioned.

“Sleeping on the floor? I always sleep down here.” Robin said softly. Nancy shook her head.

“Not anymore, get up here and cuddle with me.” Nancy playfully demanded. Robin hesitated at first but Nancy’s soft hand pulled her closer. They were both in bed together, Robin with one hand resting on Nancy’s belly while her other was supporting Nancy’s head. Both of them were pressed against each other, their heartbeats synced together.

“Your’re so adorable when you’re unsure what to do.” Nancy said sweetly.

“So like every moment of every day?” Robin joked. Nancy giggled.

“You know what I mean.” Nancy cooed.

“You’re beautiful Nancy Wheeler.” Robin whispered.

“And you’re adorable Robin Buckley.” Nancy replied. They drifted off to sleep with Robin’s head buried into Nancy’s neck.

The morning came with a blinding light shining right into Robin’s face, at first she assumed it was all a dream. Feeding Nancy, breaking up with Vickie. But then she opened her eyes and saw Nancy’s hair, she could feel her numb arm pinned by Nancy’s head. She could feel the now soft belly that she had stuffed the night before. She smiled as all the memories came flooding back to her. Nancy was still sound asleep, Robin turned her head to see what time it was and almost jumped out of bed when she saw it was 10:48. Her panic didn’t ease as a knock at the door came.

“Nancy? Come on get up your father and I are heading out and I need you to watch Holly, Mike is at Will’s. Also hi Robin please make sure she gets up I’ll see you girls later.” Karen Wheeler called from behind the door. The sound of footsteps growing quieter eased Robin’s heartrate. Nancy stirred and lifted her head off Robin’s arm.

“Mmm what time’s it?” Nancy yawned.

“10:49. We slept way in.” Robin stated.

“Mmm I slept so well.” Nancy said sleepily. Robin grinned, the feeling in her arm returned and she used it to wrap around Nancy.

“So what are we?” Nancy asked. Robin looked into Nancy’s eyes.

“I’m assuming we’re girlfriends, unless this is just friends with odd benifits?” Robin joked. Nancy giggled and gave her a small kiss.

“Nuh uh, You're my girlfriend, end of story.” Nancy said, nuzzling her head into Robin's chest. Robin giggled as her hair tickled her throat.

“Nace c’mon you can’t go back to sleep you just woke up.” Robin said.

“I’ll get up if you make me breakfast.” Nancy pleaded.

“Deal, I'll see if Holly is up.” Robin said as she got up and crossed the room. She looked back at Nancy and smiled. Robin made her way down to the kitchen where she heard the TV playing, Holly had Saturday morning cartoons playing. She turned her head to see Robin and her eyes lit up.

“Robin!!” Holly squealed and ran to hug Robin. Holly crashed into Robin and she had to steady herself so she wouldn’t fall.

“Jeez it’s good to see you too.” Robin wheezed. Holly giggled.

“Did you have a sleepover with Nancy?” Holly questioned.

“Yeah, she should be down soon, she promised to get up if I made her breakfast.” Robin  explained. Holly nodded and went back to the couch. Robin managed to conjure together pancakes and eggs just in time for Nancy to walk in. She had changed out of her sweater and sweatpants into gym shorts (that hugged her thighs a bit more than they did last summer) and a semi faded Rolling Stones T-shirt that comfortably hid Nancy’s growing middle. Robin made them both plates and they sat right next to each other and ate. Nancy had been staring at her plate while Robin put more food than normal on it.

“I took it last night, wasn't it a one time thing?” Nancy questioned. Robin’s body went cold, she had gone too far. She thought it was ok but now she thinks it’s not.

“I-I’m sorry I thought you enjoyed it so I thought that maybe you’d want to do it again.” Robin said with tears threatening to leak onto her cheeks. Nancy grabbed her hands and shushed her.

“Hey, hey it’s ok, it’s ok, I’m sorry that came out wrong. I’m glad last night wasn’t a one time thing. Because I want you to keep this growing belly of mine full. I love it when you take care of me.” Nancy soothed. She rubbed a circle onto the back of Robin’s hand. Robin relaxed as Nancy’s words sank in.

“Y’know Nace, it’s sorta crazy how comfortable you are with all of this, it’s almost like you’ve been waiting for it.” Robin stated. Nancy’s cheeks shined crimson and she stuttered a bit.

“W-well I may have…Y’know stumbled onto this kink while researching obesity rates.” Nancy admitted guiltily. Robin perked up at this and pushed for Nancy to explain in further detail.

“The kink is called feederism, it’s basically a sexual arousement to either make your partner fat, or be the one getting fat. At first I thought it was repulsive, but after letting myself go a bit I realized how much of a turn on it actually was, the feeling of my clothes getting tighter, the soft plushness of my body, the added curves made me feel whole, being thing for so long and having to run away from fear to charge into death made me realize that I deserve it. But last night I felt disgusted because I didn’t know how you would react.” Nancy explained. Robin nodded along to everything Nancy was saying and she was even more easily getting turned on by it.

“Well I’m glad my reaction was good because I am head over heels for you like this, and I may or may not be slightly wet now.” Robin said lustfully. Nancy giggled as she ate a full forkful of pancakes and moaned slightly when she tasted them.

Notes:

See you for more fat Nancy
