Work Text:
It was a rainy day, the kind of day that kept everyone inside. It was also peak writing time for the renowned author Fors Wall! She was very much in love with her craft and knew that rainy days like these were the best time to find inspiration. Even as an angel, she still wrote to maintain humanity. It was a tactic she held dear to her heart.
If only she could get any ideas.
For some unknown reason, her mind was only filled with degenerate thoughts! She wanted to work but couldn’t find any inspiration for her character!
Her female lead was a girl she may or may not have based on her husband, the Miracle Magician, Merlin Hermes. It was something she couldn’t prevent as she just loved to tease but Merlin was far too calm, writing was her only way!
Actually, scratch that, he wasn’t calm, he was playful and mysterious but not flustered. Of course this could be due to his pathway and status as an angel, but still! What did a girl have to do to see the man she loved embarrassed?
It quickly came to her why she lacked inspiration. She had never seen Merlin as, A. a woman, and B. flustered! There was no way she could base her character off of Merlin yet have nothing to actually base it off of!
This only meant one thing, she had to put him to the test!
How long could he last against her attempts? Would he just use his clown abilities and contort his face into something embarrassed just to please her?
Questions kept running through her head while blinking through the spirit world.

Merlin lay soundly in his bed, the sheets a pure white and the blanket undeniably soft. A content smile takes over his lips as he just lays there while listening to the rain pattering on his window. Though he lacks a real house, he can still find the occasional place for a stay, despite his lack of need.
This was a habit imprinted on him by his lord, Mr. Fool. Similarly to the children of the Ancient Sun God, Merlin was like an alter ego. His birth coming from a sequence two Miracle Invoker Characteristic and the personality of the Merlin Hermes his lord had pretended to be.
Letting his thoughts drift further and further into blasphemy, Merlin is quickly altered by the sudden presence of a certain woman. He slowly sits up, his shoulder length hair flowing like silk. It was often Fors came in such an abrupt manner, not even bothering to write a letter to him.
Merlin’s smile towards his wife, a beacon of humanity for him, was fond. He loved her blue eyes, soft brown hair, pretty face, angelic personality, oh he could just go on and on!
“Merlin, could you grant me a wish?” She quickly asks, seeming excited.
“That’ll cost you a coin, but discounts can be negotiated.” He says.
Merlin softly chuckles at the expression Fors gives in return. Then, he sits a little straighter, looking his wife in the eye.
“What’s your wish?” He relented, though it wasn’t much of a battle.
Wasting no time, Fors quickly made her wish.
“I wish for you, Merlin Hermes, become a female counterpart!” The brunette exclaimed.
…what?
Merlin only tilted his head to the side in brief confusion. Had Fors suddenly disliked him being a man? Well mythical creatures weren’t as gender oriented unless their pathway demanded it. Since neither of their pathways were particularly feminine or masculine, did Fors suddenly grow a sexual attraction to women?
Even in his fret, Merlin kept his joyful smile and even nodded his head at her request. Abusing his clown characteristic was something he had also picked up from his beloved lord!
Unbuttoning the first few buttons of his vest, then deciding to unbutton the whole thing in preparation seems to excite her even more. It seemed her gaze was focused on his, soon to be her, chest.
Using the faceless powers, he morphed and moved the muscles, skin, and even fat on his body to make it into what a woman’s would look like. Her face was now much softer, having longer lashes and sweeter features that still captured the mystic of a traveling magician. Her body slimmed down a bit to be more proportionately accurate, leaving her with a much more feminine frame.
Now, the part her wife had been so eager for, her chest had grown to be completely and utterly flat. The disappointment on the brunette’s expression was all she needed before chuckling and actually making breasts. It wasn’t out of the ordinary or eye catching, just enough to know this form was definitely a woman.
In her shock, Fors seemed to be on the verge of drooling. It couldn’t have been that bad, or in this case, good, right? Overall, her face and features were plain and forgettable, but Fors looked at her the same way Emlyn looked at his dolls! Like she wanted to dress her up and play with her.
Merlin felt a sudden need to focus more on the pitter pattering sounds of the rain.
“That’s one wish, you only have two left. Use them wisely~” She hummed, the iconic seer smile on her face.
No response. All Merlin got was a stare that scared her a little. …why was Fors looking at her like that? Had she truly disliked her male form so much?

Praise The Fool for the creation of the one and only Merlin Hermes! This author could not have wished for a more perfect muse! Oh how her hand was just itching to pick up a pen and begin writing about her female main character!
Oh how she’d be a girl who was basically a copy paste of Merlin but with more emotions! Fors would bet her life and money that this novel will do infinitely better than her Gherman Sparrow series! Even if it is her best selling, nothing can top writing made from pure love!
She subconsciously wiped her chin, her gaze focused on the sole subject of her vivid imagination. One step forwards, then two, and then however many more it took till she was on top of Merlin.
The bed was like a cushion, something the author was immensely thankful for because looking at her husband… wife… spouse! Looking at her spouse have such a confused expression while keeping a smile made it all the better.
Anyone with a working pair of eyes would know the absolute magnitude of Merlin’s attractiveness. Praise The Fool!
Fors made a mental note to make a valuable contribution or offering in return, it was only fair to reimburse him for such a valuable angel. Equivalent exchange and all that!
Her hand wandered for a brief moment before she regained control. There was one idea she had to try, something she couldn’t forget for this was a once in a lifetime opportunity!
“My second wish is for you to become a cat girl!” She unabashedly shouted.
“Oh, I see.” Merlin hummed, her smile as perfect as ever.
In a surprising turn of events, Fors was kissed by Merlin. It was a gentle kiss, something wondrous yet brief. Just like a miracle.
When Fors felt Merlin pull away, she could only be described as jaw struck. There were the ears of a feline, the tail of a feline, and even the sharp pupils of a feline. She was suddenly so grateful Merlin wasn’t wearing her usual hat, such an item of clothing would only serve to conceal this magic sight.
Logically, Fors knew this was an illusion as not even the faceless powers could cause such a mutation. Especially as an angel, she could spot just how mediocre and simple the illusion really was.
In another stroke of good luck, Fors had never cared about such logistics.
“Just one wish left!” Her lovely spouse oh so thoughtfully reminded.
A grin appeared on the author’s face as she reached out and did what she had dreamed of, petting cat-girl Merlin! This was no longer about a novel, how could it ever be after this experience. Fors doubted her hands could even capture how pleasing it was to see Merlin purr while she pet her.
With a quick peck on the lips, Fors smiled at the Miracle Magician.
“I only wish to be able to repeat my last two wishes whenever I want.” Fors whispered.
“Wish granted.” Merlin replied in tow.
