Work Text:
The hotel room was dim and quiet, curtains letting in only a thin stripe of afternoon light. Mafuyu lay drowsy between Ryou Ueki and Ayano Kasai, warm and loose‑limbed, still wrapped in the soft haze of a shared nap. Ueki’s arm rested around his waist, steady even in half‑sleep.
Kasai shifted, propping herself up on an elbow to look at him with a sly, affectionate smile.
“When I first met you in high school,” she said, “I thought you were hot. But also kind of weird. Plus those rumors about you.”
Mafuyu blinked slowly, then smiled back — small, lopsided, amused.
“They were definitely exaggerated. I was gay. The rumors made it sound like I murdered my boyfriend.”
Kasai snorted, covering her mouth. “Right? And meanwhile I had a crush on Uenoyama and was jealous of you for… existing, basically. But I never would have imagined this. Never.”
Mafuyu chuckled, and Ueki tightened his arm around his waist in response, pulling him closer without opening his eyes. He spread his fingers across Mafuyu's smooth belly, discreetly exploring this unfamiliar body.
Ueki finally stirred, blinking awake with a slow, lazy smile. “I liked you from the first,” he said, voice rough with sleep. “Especially because Uenoyama liked you. I figured anyone he liked had to be interesting. But it wasn’t until third year I realized there was something… more between you.”
Mafuyu let out a soft laugh.
“Ritsuka was… a bit shy about things. Still, I didn’t expect this either. I mean, not with the two of you. You’re straight… supposedly. And Ayano‑chan… well, I’m gay.”
Kasai laughed under her breath, brushing a thumb along Mafuyu’s collarbone.
“‘Supposedly’ is doing a lot of work here. And you being gay doesn't stop you from being… you. And I find I like you.”
Ueki tightened his hold again, a sleepy possessiveness surprising even him.
“Labels are fine,” he murmured. “But they don’t explain everything. Not this.”
Kasai settled back down beside them, her hand resting lightly over Mafuyu’s.
“Honestly, I think we all just… grew into this. Whatever this is.”
Ueki nodded against the pillow.
“And it’s my birthday, so I’m declaring it perfect.” He almost managed a laugh. It registered more as a satisfied snort.
Mafuyu’s smile softened. “Okay. Perfect.”
Kasai nudged him gently. “And Mafuyu, we’re going to keep having our lunches after this, yes?”
“Oh I would like that.” Mafuyu answered instantly, clutching Ueki’s hand at his waist. “I love our lunches. And this is a very nice… surprise. When do you need to head back to the office?”
“Tomorrow,” Ueki said flatly, as if the word offended him. He kissed Mafuyu’s shoulder — slow, unhurried — then stretched across him to kiss Ayano as well.
“You’re impossible,” she murmured.
“I’m birthday‑privileged,” Ueki corrected, settling back with a smug sigh. “And I’m taking the rest of the day off."
Mafuyu laughed quietly, warmth blooming in the space between them.
Ueki brushed his thumb along Mafuyu's hip, then slowly wrapped his fingers around Mafuyu's half hard cock, and at the same time pressed his own erection firmly against Mafuyu's bottom. He glanced at both of them with a lazy, conspiratorial glint.
Mafuyu cupped his hand over Kasai's breast.
“Do you want to order room service? We still haven’t had lunch yet.”
Kasai snorted. “You’re the one who insisted we lie down ‘for just a minute.’”
“And it was a very good minute,” Ueki replied, utterly unrepentant.
Mafuyu’s smile deepened. “Let’s get lunch. I’m hungry.”
Ueki kissed his shoulder again, softer this time. “Perfect. Birthday lunch in bed.”
Kasai reached over Mafuyu to flick Ueki’s forehead. Then drew her finger across Mafuyu's lower lip.
“Only you would turn room service into a romantic strategy.”
Ueki grinned. “Then we can continue with this after lunch.”
Mafuyu, warm between them, didn’t disagree.
