Blood runs thicker than water

Summary:

Fluxion Aculon, second prince of Aculon and prior president of Luminaria had died- executed for his wrongdoings against island 1 and for the murder of 6 Island 2 leaders. So, why was he waking up and who was Wifies?

Or the one where I looked at the fics and headcanons of Wifies being fluxarata's ship child and decided to turn it around with Flux being Evilfies child, in a not very scientifically ethical way.

Chapter 1: A new beginning

Chapter Text

Consciousness came slowly, letting agony seep through. Flux had died, he had been stabbed by Saps. So why was he waking up? Was this… purgatory?

Now that he was dead, a part of him desperately wished to have been more selfish. The world could have called him selfish but he was doing what was best for the whole of the island- his intentions were selfless!

They just don't understand. In another world, they would see Schpood's true colors- the whole island 1's colors!

Flux tried to open his eyes, a bright light made it hard to adjust.

An ivory ceiling greeted him, not a prison cell, not his room. Something akin to a hospital room, The scent of chemicals and medicine heavily lingered.

No- he was supposed to be dead, Did Saps not go through with his execution? did his cowardice stop him?

His head ached, trying to keep his eyes open felt like a challenge.

Why did he feel like he was weighed down by chains?

He grumbled, trying to move. His body barely complied. Every blink felt exhausting, every attempt to move seemed futile.

A voice perked up at his attempted movements.

"Oh, you're finally awake."

Flux's eyes desperately tried to focus at the figure, all he could see was a blur of black hair and hints of purple.

"Yes, yes. Quite irritating, I'm aware." The man stated as though he was fully aware of Flux's feeling. "Don't waste energy, your body is simply… adjusting from the stunts you pulled."

"It was all quite amusing. Although…"

He sounded… detached. Why was he doing this - helping a criminal - what could he possibly want from him?

"I must say, you caused quite a ruckus on that server." He let out a small exasperated chuckle, the war seemed like but a trivial thing to him.

The man waited for a response that he knew wouldn't come.

"Go back to sleep, you'll feel much better."

Those words seemed to provide some twisted sense of comfort.

And despite Flux's best attempts, he slowly drifted back to sleep to the voice talking about…

-

The next time he wakes up, consciousness comes in sparks. He was greeted by the same dull pristine ceiling, however- this time he could move, each gesture no longer shackled by the heavy weight of exhaustion.

Flux forced himself to sit up, tugging on some… wires attached to himself.

The room was unlike anything he had seen in Lumanaria or the islands. Modern. He was connected to several machines through the wires, he had no idea what some of them were even doing.

Who was even behind this? Thomas… no, he didn't have the resources to pull off something like this.

If it was someone else… what reason would they have to keep him alive? aside from Cynikka, he couldn't fanthom anyone else to help him- much less whoever that ebony haired man was.

Flux needed to get out- or at least find someone. He needed answers.

He didn't hesitate getting out of the bed, moving towards what seemed to be like a door.

The wires and needles which were practically engraved onto him- a lifeline- pulled out as he had started to move further to the direction of the door.

The door was a sliding door, it should've opened up easily but no- it wouldn't budge, tightly shut. It was stuck there.

Fine. Fair play, the door was the easiest method of exit and if the person who was behind this wanted to keep him here- of course they would lock the door.

Flux diverted his attention to the windows, he could survive a high fall

The latches on the windows came off quite easily, allowing him to fully open the window. It was large enough to allow him to successfully jump.

as for the fact he could see nothing but the sky below… his eyesight wasn't the best since he woke up.

Before he could jump the sound of the doors opening stopped him.

"Now now, there is no need to start with these escape attempts so soon."

It was the same man.

"And who are you supposed to be?" It was best to ask outright, he clearly wanted something- no other reason a criminal like him would be given such luxurious treatment.

Not the best choice of words to say to a potential threat, but he had nothing to lose. He had already lost the war, so what difference did it make if he experienced death once more.

"What a mess, you've made." He mused, staring at the mess of drips and wires Flux had freed himself from.

"Answer my question."

The figure gestured him to move back to the bed, expectantly.

Once Flux had reluctantly sat himself down onto the bed again, the other started to reattach some of the wires measuring his vitals.

He had to stop himself from backing away in repulsion from the others touch.

"In a very indirect and unorthodox way, I am your father."

Oh so he was insane too. This really must be a purgatory.

"That sounds incredibly-"

"Stupid?" His supposed 'father' asks, "worry not, I would not have stated such facts without proof."

Flux hated him already, his smile was too fake- too saccharine; it was unnerving- no, condescending.

He slid a piece of paper towards Flux.

A blood test… biological relation... No. This was a faux, he was Elaneulo's son, he was apart of the Aculon family- not whatever this was.

"You are a result of one of my failed clones mistakes," He stated factually, not allowing him to question the clone thing at all. "And as my clones are a carbon copies of me in a biological sense- that makes you my child.""Any report can be faked and clones-""Yes, but- we both know that you don't believe that. After all, comparing your features To Elaneulo and me, it's clear who you resemble more."

His words sparked irritation, annoyance, he was purposely brushing him off- why was he doing all this? Why was he appearing just now?

Who wants a son who is a disappointment- a war criminal? Even Elaneulo has standards that his children should meet.

"Oh and I don't suppose you want me to call you dad, now?" The question was fueled by annoyance and irritation, Flux's hope to aggravate the other and gain more information.

"Well, that would be preferable but you can refer to me as Wifies, if you wish."

"You're insane."

The other smiled in response."I have been told that many times." Wifies wasn't bothered, he didn't care about the accusations.

He was insane, a maniac- obsessed with a false reality that didn't exist. Flux being related to such a guy was nigh impossible. Wifies gave off a sense of abnormality, as though he wasn't human.

Flux needed to get out.

Wifies closed the window that Flux had almost jumped out of, "Let's not try this again." Dull, monotone, bored- tinged with a hint of amusement."And… keep these escape attempts to a minimum until you fully recover."
