It’s been two years since the first season of disventure camp, one since the follow up. Where has everyone been, and more importantly-when do they return?
Now! For Disventure Camp All stars!
The best of the best have been asked to come back with the chance of winning, not just one million dollars, but three million.
Today we went to those contests to let them know they are the top tier.
The plane shows a map on the screen showing where all the contestants have been. We go to the first pick up spot which has all the European contestants.
Alec and Fiore are already talking, not really too concerned about last season. At this point Alec has had much worse things going for him than being turned on by an ally. Then grett shows up while the others wave expecting her, but then Yul follows.
Fiore makes a face at her. “Uh what’s this asshole doing here?”
Yul responds disgustedly. “Says the 5 year old.”
“I’m 8?”
“Whatever, still a child.”
“And you’re still a musician past his prime. I think I see grays popping up. Seriously, why are you here? Since when are you in this area?”
“He’s my boyfriend!” Grett said happily while holding onto his arm.
She just stared at them for a moment. “Wow I knew you hated yourself but this is a new low.”
She just says nothing looking down. That’s when Kristal appears with the plane. “Welcome to disventure camp all stars! You were all selected because the audience knows you, loves you, and can’t get enough of you. Congratulations! Hop on the plane to the first four contestants!” The four of them get on and then we skip ahead to landing in Brazil.
Aiden and James are holding hands and being as cute as ever. Aiden waves excited at Kristal and they hop on the plane. He sees Yul. “Oh great. He’s back.” Aiden said sarcastically.
“Well duh I’m interesting, unlike you!” Yul snapped back.
Aiden was about to reply but James did it for him. “He’s just bitter because we made the finale, and he went home with the stomach flu.” He smirked before finding a spot for them.
The plane keeps flying, landing in Mexico. Rosa and Sofia wave bye to Lake as she gets on the plane. Aiden stands up excitedly. “Is that my favorite author lake!” “Aiden!” She goes over to him and gives him a hug. “It’s been too long. How is traveling?” “Oh it’s been incredible! We’ve seen so many amazing places! How have things been with Rosa?” “Great! It’s still weird getting used to not being home, but Rosa and Sofia have been the best hosts.” She sits down near them.
We fly up a little bit further and see Ashley. She kisses will bye and waves goodbye to him and the farm. “Howdy ya’ll!” She said enthusiastically. “Ugh why is she here! She didn’t even do anything during our season!” Fiore said, annoyed. “Same old demon child I see.” “Yeah the nuns love me.” She said sarcastically. Ashley rolled her eyes and found a spot to sit.
Then the plane flies over to California where Riya and Connor are waiting. Riya has at least 20 bags. Connor is just happy to be there. They come up with the interns struggling to carry all her bags.
“What, she is here too?!” Aiden said, annoyed.
“Don’t act shocked. I’m famous after all.” She winked and found a seat. Connor waved apologetically to Aiden and sat next to him.
Then flying to New York there is Ellie, Gabby, and Tess waiting. Gabby is super excited to come back; she's practically jumping up and down. Ellie is just smiling watching her. When they get on the plane Gabby waves to Grett still trying to be friendly but she rolls her eyes in return. Ellie waves awkwardly to Alec and Fiore. Alec just crossed his arms and Fiore flipped her off. She rolled her eyes in return and just happily sat next to Gabby and Tess.
Next on the pick up list was Tom. He walked onto the plane and Gabby stood up and ran over to him. “Bestie!!” “Hey gabs, good to see you!” He hugged back. He sits down near them mainly just ignoring Alec and Fiore.
Next stop was Hunter and Ally. They walk onto the plane bickering a little but immediately stop when they see Tess. “Tess!” Ally exclaimed. Tess went over and they did a big group hug. “We haven’t seen you in forever god!” “How’s school going?” Hunter asked. “It’s been really great! I met Ellie there actually, it’s been nice.” Ellie waved hi in the background not wanting to crash their reunion. “The stream seems like it’s going good!” Tess said in return. “Yeah I don’t know…” Ally said sheepishly. “It’s great Ally.” Hunter said intending to comfort but it came off a bit annoyed. They all sit down in the same area.
Last stop was Jake and Miriam. The two walked on with smiles and then as soon as Jake saw Tom he just looked down. Miram however kept just smiling looking between them. Jake wasn’t having it though just sitting down away from him. Tom frowned a little at the lack of hello. Miram sighed and sat down next to him.
With that Kristal came into the main area of the plane. “Welcome everyone to disventure camp all stars! I’m sure you’re all very familiar with one another, so I think we should get started! Underneath your seats are parachutes, each one has a different color. This color corresponds with what team you will be on.”
“Can we just open them on the plane?” Aiden asked.
“Open a parachute indoors?” She asked, confused.
“You hate me. This is hatred.” He said being hyperbolic. “Don’t worry, sunshine, I’ve got you.” James said, grabbing his hand. Aiden smiles.
“Yeah yeah you two are adorable. Get to jumping.” She said opening the door. Gabby grabs hers and runs out to jump. “Woooo!!” Her chute opens and its cyan. Ellie follows suit and her’s is magenta. “Aw we are not on the same team.” Gabby said with a frown. “It’ll be ok, gabs.” Ellie said to comfort her. Tom jumped after, his chute also cyan. “Yes! Let’s go, Gabs!” He said. “Yes bestie!” She said much more excited now.
Hunter, Ally and Tess jump next. Hunter and Tess’ chutes are both magenta and ally’s is cyan. “Aw man. I was hoping we’d all be together.” Ally said disappointed. “It’s ok. We’ll find a way to talk.” Tess said with a smile, and Ally returned the smile.
Ashely jumped out cheering and her chute is magenta. Alec and Fiore jumped out. Alec couldn’t really care and his chute was yellow. Fiore was giggling and her chute was magenta. Lake jumped with a little woo her chute cyan. Jake and Miriam jumped with Jake’s chute yellow, and Miriam’s magenta. Connor jumped next with his yellow. Riya follows, trying to fix her hair mid air, chute also yellow. Grett and Yul next both cyan.
Back at the plane Aiden is still freaking out. “I can’t do it. Can’t we just do the reveal another way?” “Oh my god get over yourself.” Kristal said just pushing him, he screams out and James glares at her before following Aiden, both their chutes yellow. “Hey look same team!” James said happily. “Oh yay that’s good!” Aiden said more calmly before remembering where he was and freaking out again.
They all start to land on the ground. Tom made an over the top ridiculous superhero landing. Fiore landed and then went to get back up before Ashley landed on top of her. Ashley giggled. “Whoops.” Fiore just glared back at her.
Kristal walked over to them. “Welcome to your new teams! Yellow team! Aiden, Alec, Connor, Jake, James, and Riya! Cyan team! Ally, Gabby, Grett, Lake, Tom, and Yul. And magenta team Ashley, Ellie, Fiore, Hunter, Miriam, and Tess! Hopefully you can spot some potential allies, but before we get started I hired some new staff! Say hello to Emily!” Emily strutted in and stood behind Kristal. “Emily will be helping me with making sure this game stays juicy! She also will be interviewing you today, so the viewers who aren’t chronically online can know what you’ve been up to since the last time you played.”
“Follow me campers!” Emily said, moving the crowd over by a tent.
Now in the interview tent was Aiden and James sitting across from Emily. “So boys the people want to know what have you been up to after winning the game!” She asked them. “Well I did not lie to Aiden. We’ve been traveling the world.” James answered “It’s been incredible! I really love it!” Aiden chimed in. “Anyone you’re both happy to see back?” “Lake! We’re really close still outside the game. We’ve come to visit them a couple of times this past year.” Aiden answered happily. “Any enemies?” She asked, trying to stir the pot. “Ugh Riya.” Aiden answered. “And yul.” James chimed in. “Definitely both of them.” Aiden agreed. “Well I’m sure the world is thrilled to see their favorite couple back on their screens. Best of luck to you both.” “Thanks!” Aiden smiled and kissed James and they left.
“Alec! Wow you look like shit!” She said to him, “How’s the divorce coming along?” She again just tried to stir the pot. “No comment.” He said with his arms crossed. “Any updates you want to share with the audience? You’ve been really MIA online.” “I’m good.” He said still being quite short. She rolled her eyes and showed a picture of him drunk at the bar. “A viewer sent in this picture what do you think about that?” “Turn that thing off!” He said reacting much more. “Ok ok.” She laughed. “What made you come back?” She asked. “Money.” He said plainly. “Ok you’re no fun. Next!”
Ally and Hunter came in. “How’s my favorite gamer!” Emily said with a smile. “I’m good!” “You two seem like you're in an interesting place right now. What do you have to say about the rumors online that you broke up?” She asked. “It’s nonsense. Why would we break up and fake it for a twitch stream?” Hunter asked. “Yeah it’s stupid,” she said but it bothered her more than Hunter. Emily picked up on that and followed up. “So, Ally, how do you deal with trolls and haters online? Because we’ve heard you yell at children.” “It was one time! I apologized!” She said a bit agitated. “Ok ok just wondering.” Emily responded. “Happy to see Tess again?” “Yes, it's always great to see her!” Hunter responded. “We haven’t gotten to see her really since she’s so busy with school in New York, but she gives us updates!” Ally answered.
“Ashley! Great to see you back! How’s the farm!” Emily asked. “Oh it’s great! The animals have been amazing, and Will’s been helping out a bunch which makes things a whole lot easier.” She said thrilled. “Anyone you’re happy to see back?” Emily asked. “Jake’s a good friend of mine, so it’s good to see him again!” “Anyone you didn’t want to see here?” “Yeah. Look I love kids I really do. I just really don’t like that one kid. I don’t know what’s up with that little head of hers but Fiore is the devil.”
“Connor! Riya! Good to see the most successful couple here!” Emily said. “Great to be back!” Riya replied with a smile. “You’ve been doing great since the show? Lots of roles! I hear you’re even a top contender for an Emmy? How exciting!” “It really is! I’ve already won some of the smaller awards to lead up to it. I’m very excited. I know I’ll win.” She said very cocky “it’s been so incredible to be able to watch her dreams come true. I know she’s wanted this for so long, and now she’s finally got it.” Connor replied. “How are things going with the two of you? I know we’ve all been wondering about that.” Emily asked. “It’s been an adjustment period for sure-“ Connor went on before getting cut off by Riya. “We’re perfect!”
“Ellie! Gabby! Everyone’s favorite sapphic icons. How are you?” “So good!! I moved to the u.s. be with Ellie!” Gabby exclaimed. Ellie laughed a little. “So I’ll assume that you two are good?” “Yeah we’re great.” Ellie answered. “How’s school?” “It’s really great, very expensive though.” “Ellie got some scholarships because she’s amazing though!” Gabby chimed in. “Yeah, which helps some, but it’s still a lot.” Ellie replied disappointed. “But it’s ok once one of us wins it’ll be better!” Gabby said to cheer her up. “Yeah for sure,” Ellie smiled back.
“Fiore! Welcome back!” “Thanks for saving me from the nuns. They are the worst ugh,” she said with a grunt. “How did you end up there?” Emily asked. “Oh after season one my parents were done. They gave me to the nuns which I don’t know what’s worse. At least Italy is cool, the food is good at least.” She shrugged. “Glad to be back working with Alec?” “Eh I guess? He’s ok. I don’t need him though.” “Of course.”
“Grett. Yul. How the fuck did this happen?” Emily asked looking between them. “Well after his season aired we started talking online. We just sort of bonded.” She said smiling to him but he didn’t care. “And Yul you’re in the UK?” “Yeah, my contract just kinda put me there. It’s disgusting.” Yul said annoyed. “But at least we’re in the same place.” Grett replied. “Yeah sure I guess.” Yul answered. “Uhhh so grett you lost some weight good for you!” Emily asked just changing the subject. “Oh yes thank you. I worked hard.” “She looks way better now. Before she looked disgusting. She still can do better but it’s progress I guess,” Yul chimed in even though it had nothing to do with him. “Uhh well I think you look great Grett.” Emily said, glaring at Yul a little. “Well thanks.” She said softly.
“Jake! Miriam! Good to see you back!” “Good to be back.” Miriam said. “How are you doing? I heard some rumors of some health scares?” “Oh I’m fine,” “she’s ok, but I’m keeping an eye on her, don't worry,” Jake said with a smile. “That’s good, so I heard he’s been living near you now? Is that true?” “Yeah Miriam has been super generous. She’s really helped me out after the season, I’ve been basically living with her,” he laughed. “He’s a great help around the house, and great company,” Miriam smiled. “Aw cute. I know everyone loves seeing you two together. Speaking of people who the audience wants to see you with, how are things with Tom?” “Oh uh we haven’t spoken..” Jake said a bit disappointed. “I have a feeling good things will come from this time for you two.” Miriam said. “I mean I know we all want to see the two of you back together.” Emily chimed in. “Eh we’ll see. I hope we can be friends again for sure.” Jake said a bit unsure.
“Lake! Welcome back!” “Thanks for having me!” Lake replied with a smile. “I read the new book, I’ll be honest, much better than I was thinking.” Emily said. Lake gave an awkward reply not really sure how to take that. “Oh well thank you. I am glad you enjoyed it. I am working on the sequel now.” “Wow how exciting. Maybe, I’ll read it. Anyway, who are you happiest to see back?” “Oh Aiden for sure! He loves this game so much! It is just so much fun to play with him, and we are good friends. He was one of the first people to tell me he read the book.” she went on with a smile.
“Tess! What have you been up to since last season?” “Well I moved to New York for art school. Ellie and I actually go to the same school. She’s great so I am excited to play with her this time.” Tess replied. “How has your mental health journey been going?” “I have been doing really well. I mean of course bad days still happen. That just comes with it, but I am doing a much better job of taking care of myself.” “That’s great to hear, how are things with Hunter and Ally?” “Good, I mean I haven’t seen them in awhile, just because of time and distance, so I am really excited to just spend time with them regardless of the game.”
“Tom! How is the new job?” “Good. It is nice to not hide anything anymore.” He replied. “Yeah I am sure. Speaking of not hiding anything, where do you and Jake stand?” she said not really caring about anything else he had to say. “Oh wow just getting straight to it. We haven’t spoken unfortunately.” he said sadly. “Hopefully we can talk now. I know I really want to. I hope he feels the same.” “So should we expect the couple of the century to get back together?” Emily asked with a smirk being fully aware of what she was doing. He got flustered. “Oh uh I don’t know about that- that’s not what I meant. I just- I don’t- I just hope we can be friends again.” he stuttered out. “Oh don’t torture yourself. I know what you mean.” Emily laughed. Kristal came in. “Are we good here?” “Yeah, last interview. Take them away.” Emily smiled.
Kristal led the three teams to the locations of their camps before addressing the camera. “Tune in next week to learn which teams will succeed and which one will fail. Plenty of friendships, relationships, and enemies here- will they last? We also see who will be the first person eliminated from Disventure Camp: All Stars!”
