This is my first fanfic, and although I'm not very good at writing (I prefer drawing), I decided this time to try putting what was in my head into words, since drawing it was too complicated.
The story is finished, just needs proofreading and translation, so if people like the fic, I intend to publish weekly. Please note that I'm not a native English speaker, so there might be some mistakes
This idea came to me while reading the story of Senhime, although I changed it all. Initially, I wanted to set it in feudal Japan, but I barely know how people lived in that era, especially culturally, so I decided to place it in a more European setting, where I'm more familiar with the beliefs and how things worked back then. In the end, this universe is set in the 11th century, where Sesshomaru comes from a culture inspired by Japanese culture of that time, and Rin from a culture inspired by European culture. And to clarify, in this AU, the age of majority is reached at 14 for boys and 12 for girls.
That said, I must warn that this story deals with sensitive topics, which I do not intend to condone, such as child marriage, sexism, abuse, rape, teenage pregnancy, etc., typical of that era. Although I won't go into explicit detail. Even so, it's a pretty fluffy story because I love fairy tales about princes rescuing princesses xD That said, don't expect this Sesshomaru to be the best boyfriend, husband, father, or even a good person or politically correct for these times. This will be my vision of him, as I believe he would be if he had lived in these circumstances.
And I almost forgot the most important thing: in this AU, everyone is human and there are no supernatural elements. I was really looking forward to exploring the differences between Sesshomaru as a human compared to demon, because I think there are many
I'm leaving the world map here now, because although it's not necessary yet, it will be useful to have it later (I basically made it because even for me it was very confusing without the map).
