Benedict is a decent man. Even though his family is rich, he doesn't brag about it or abuse his power. But when he met Sophie... It was hard not to ask his mother to let him be in charge of one of their franchised Coffee Shop's. After all, is it really that bad to make use of his nepobaby privileges if it means he gets to spend more time with the most beautiful and intelligent woman he has ever met?
She walks in and it's like his world finally makes sense. As if he has waited his whole life for this moment, to meet Sophie. It's definitely unprofessional to flirt with his employee, but she has just the cutest pink cheeks when he whispers in her ear. Sophie turns him down and tries to deny it, but he has seen the way she looks at his lips when he's talking to her... She calls him Mr. Bridgerton to remind him of their roles, but when he casually touches her hand it's "Benedict" that slips from her mouth. And when they finally kiss, it's "Ben" that sings between her lips in a sweet melody.
Benedict will break with his family and become a working man if it means he can spend the rest of his life with Sophie.
