Mikail woke up, sweating.
He was having again the same nightmare. Of course, it was about Euyn. Euyn, the only person that would always trust him with his life.
The crown prince and the spymaster. Wasn’t it funny? A spoiled boy and someone who had to work hard just to eat a decent meal everyday.
But, god, how they loved each other.
But their differences didn’t stop the fate, many years ago.
He smiled.
He thought of when he reached out for Euyn’s hand, that day in the garden. They both took a while to get comfortable with each other.
Euyn thought Mikail was going to use him to gain vicinity to the King, like everyone. And once he would’ve realise that the young boy had no real power, he would’ve leave him, and he would be alone.
Mikail simply thought that Euyn was going to be a simple distraction in his path to free Gaya. But then, again, he was wrong.
Oh, if he was wrong.
They both always loved each other. Since they first met.
Their love was different from other people’s. But they knew their love was love too.
Mikail sighed. Was that how the days without Euyn would have been?
Everyday, he would’ve missed him.
They were going to be hard years.
To always wake up without him by his side. To never laugh again with him. To feel lonely again.
The only thing that would keep Mikail sane was just one thought: the fact that everyday was a gettin’ closer to his death.
To the day he’ll see his lover again.
To the day the two shattered hearts will be together.
Forever, this time.
