Work Text:
Usopp sat at the kitchen table, tinkering with his new inventions and gadgets. He was laser focused on perfecting his newest creation when he saw something out of the corner of his eye.
Usopp looked up from his work, gazing over at the chef of the crew tossing on his pink apron, tying it tightly around his waist. It was always such a treat watching Sanji work his magic. He felt himself gazing for longer then he should but how could anyone resist staring at the man.
Sanji just had this undeniable charm to him. His gentlemanly personality, his sweet accent, his small witty comments and teasing remarks. How could anyone not love being around him?
And then there was his face. He had such an amazing chiselled jawline that made Usopp quite jealous. He was so perfectly sculpted from head to toe, from his strong legs to his lean and athletic body to his pretty blonde hair and handsome face.
On top of all that there was his eyes. Sanji had the most beautiful ocean blue eyes. Usopp often found himself drifting off as Sanji spoke to him, getting lost in the vast beauty of his eyes like a sailor lost at sea, bobbing up and down through the gorgeous waves and-
“USOPP!!!” The sharp shooter was suddenly and abruptly snapped out of his day dream. Sanji stood in front of him, staring down at him with an amused smirk on his face. “Did you hear what I said?” he asked. “Uhhh... totally!... not” he replied. He really needed to get out of the habit of lying.
“Well, if you weren’t ogling me then you might have heard me say to stop stealing all the black pepper! We’re running low and I need it for cooking” he explained, snatching the pepper grinder away from Usopp. “Fine then you can have it back” he sighed dramatically.
“And for your information, I wasn’t ogling” Usopp corrected. Sanji let out a laugh. “Forever a liar, eh Usopp?”
