3rd Person P.O.V
Ruby Rose woke up due to the ray of sunlight phasing through her eyelids. Sitting up, she stretched and let out a big yawn before pushing aside the sheets and wearing her indoor slippers to begin walking downstairs.
She reached the bottom and sat in front of the dinner table with her hair messy and eyes half open. Yawning once more, she began speaking to the person in the kitchen.
Ruby: Bubba? Is breakfast ready yet?
The Fox Faunus's ears perked up and looked behind himself, he has a normal frame and a year younger than Ruby. He is currently wearing a Black T-shirt, Blue Jogging Pants and an apron. Cooking some Bacon and Eggs with a side of her favorite cookies.
Y/n: Just a moment, Dear. I'm almost finished.
Yup, this Fox Faunus was you, Y/n L/n and is married to the silver eyed warrior, now Ruby 'Rose' L/n. You might be confused. How did the two of you get married so young? Well...
[Rewind] Ruby P.O.V
Everything hurts... I haven't got a wink of sleep... I'm really exhausted... It's already way past curfew and I'm still here in Vale buying some things after horribly losing to a bet... To make things even worse, my schoolwork got stacked and I have to finish it all in three days... ugh... My body will probably give up soon enough if I keep this up.
I arrived at the store and got everything on the list. Placing the things on the counter, I reached for my wallet while the shop keeper scans the items.

-only to realize that I left the cash back at the dorms.
Crap, crap, crap! what am I gonna do?! should I just bail with the things?! Heck no I'll get arrested! Oh god can this night get any worse?!
???: Um... excuse me?
I turned around to see a boy the same height as me with two adorable fox ears on his head. He was wearing a dark green sweater too big for his size, some comfy looking pants and bare footed for some reason.
He waved his hand in front of my face. I must have spaced out. I shook my head and straightened myself as my eyelids became heavier by the second.
Ruby: Y-Yes?
My voice cracked. Still to tired to speak. I think He found it amusing as he chuckles and points a finger at my items.
???: I noticed that you've been patting yourself. I assume you left your wallet back your place?
My face heated up in embarrassment as I faintly nod. He smiled and his face showed empathy as he reached for his pocket.
???: Don't worry! I can just pay for you.
What? Did I hear that right? He approaches the counter, his kind smile never leaving his face.
???: Excuse me sir. How much is the young miss in red's items?
Ruby: R...Ruby...Rose...
???: My bad, How much are Ms. Rose's items?
Cashier: That'll be 200 lien.
My eyes almost popped out of my eye sockets. 200?! I thought they were just... Dang it Weiss! 20 lien is generous enough but 200?! No ones gonna pay for th-
???: Here you go.
I looked at him surprised as he handed the money to the cashier. He put the things in a plastic bag and handed them to me along with the receipt.
Ruby: I... but...wha-
I really want to thank him but I was a loss of words. I try but fail to form a proper sentence. Chuckling, he placed his finger on my lips and made a hushing sound.
Y/n: You're welcome Ms. Rose. And my name is Y/n L/n. A fox Faunus.
He twitched his ears individually and patted my head. He went back to pay for his things as I patiently wait for him. After he was done, I walked with him out of the store as we continued on in silence.
For some reason, I felt calm around him. His presence feels as if I was back home eating a plate of cookies with a glass of milk. His smile reminds me of mom, and His hand is soft to the touch. I want him to be around me always. Because I haven't felt this relaxed... in... weeks...

My eyes opened to the sight of a room that doesn't belong to me. I am currently lying on top of the most comfortable bed in all of remnant. I inhaled the scent of the fresh blanket that smelled like sunshine and lavender.
Remembering today was a weekend, every stress I felt left my body as I let myself sink deeper into the bed. Nothing will ever get me away from this heaven.
Except that heavenly scent coming from outside of the room. A yawn came out as I hopped off the bed and exit the room with my stomach groaning in hunger. I looked around the wooden house that looked like it came from the Jashian period with the furniture and all.
The heavenly scent gets stronger as I approach what seems to be the kitchen as I looked over to see Y/n wearing a black T-Shirt, Blue Jogging pants and a white apron.
He must have heard me approaching as he spoke without looking back.
Y/n: Good Morning Ruby.
Ruby: G-Good morning.
Y/n: Have a seat.
I slowly went to the table and seated myself as my stomach groaned once more. I punched my stomach and hid my face in my hands embarrassed hoping that he didn't hear it. But since he's a Faunus with fox ears, I know he heard it.
Y/n: I'm almost done. I just need to serve these on a plate.
I said nothing. After about a minute, he placed the food in front of me as my eyes shone in amazement. The scent absolutely amazing up close and that's putting it lightly. Hopefully the taste is the same.
I took a spoon and a fork and had my first bite. I froze... and internally foodgasmed. IT'S SO GOOD~!!!
I started eating fast and almost choked. Before you know it, my plate as already empty. I heard Y/n giggle as he continued eating his food.
Y/n: I'm glad you liked it.
Ruby: Y-yes! Thank you for the food.
I smiled at him and patted my full belly... Hold up! How did I even get here?!
Ruby: By the way...
Y/n: Hm?
Ruby: How... What happened last night?
Y/n: You fainted from exhaustion. I didn't want to leave you sprawled out in the streets and I am not allowed to enter Beacon so I carried you to my home. After that, I changed you into some comfortable clothes and tucked you in my bed.
Wait, what? I looked down and realized that I wasn't wearing my uniform. I looked inside and I didn't have any underwear. My face heated up to a hundred degrees Celsius as I looked back at him in embarrassment.
Ruby: D-D-Does that m-mean you-
Y/n: Please know that your school uniform is not the best suited for sleeping. Your exhaustion was very worrying in addition to you suddenly fainting with the bags under your eyes, I assumed that you've been overworking and undersleeping. So I am bound to change your clothes since I want you to have full comfort when you're in my care.
He... He saw everything... Now I'll never get married.
I sat down on the floor in a fetal position knowing that I'll stay single for the rest of my life. He looks at me concerned. He approaches me, sat down and laid my head on his lap.
Y/n: I'm terribly sorry for changing you without any notice, but it was for the sake of your comfort. I value Rest and Relaxation the most. So again, I apologize.
I remain silent as he gave gentle strokes to my head.
Y/n: How about this, for doing what I did, I'll do anything you want.
I turned my head to look at him with hopeful eyes.
Ruby: Anything?
He smiles.
Y/n: Anything.
My heart thumped wildly in my chest as I felt charmed by his smile. Just being with him, I feel like I can live my life with a peaceful mind. That's good for me, He makes me happy.
Ruby: Then... I want you to marry me.

I arrive in front of Beacon and walked happily into the courtyard. I entered the school as a few students look at me before going about their day.
I got into the hallway as I saw my team and Team JNPR talking to each other with worried faces with Yang looking the most worried.
Ruby: Hi Guys!
They all turned to me and shouted.
:RUBY!!!
Yang ran first and engulfed me in a big hug as I happily return the gesture.
Yang: Where were you?! You didn't come back last night!
The rest followed after.
Weiss: You Dolt! Have you any idea how worried we were?!
Blake: It was already late at night. We thought something happened to you.
I glad they were worried about me, But enough about that! I have big news!
Ruby: Guys! I'm fine! Nothing bad happened to me, see?
Yang wiped her tears away and placed her hands on my shoulders as her Lilac eyes stared seriously into my Silver ones.
Yang: Ruby... where were you last night?
Ruby: Oh, Right!
I presented to them the beautiful Ruby Ring around my Ring finger.
Ruby: I'm getting married!
