You leaned back against the cold brick wall, watching your friends chatting with their partners.
How you wished that you could have someone that was important to you in a more intimate way. I mean you did have a crush on someone, actually no, it was way more than a crush, you were in love with Megumi.
Although he was the quiet type and only had a few friends that he would hang out with and seemed mean, he was incredibly kind to you, he cared for you in his own quiet way.
You admired his looks too, he was very handsome, you even found his spiky hair cute.
You sighed, feeling a tiny bit of sadness that you didn’t have anyone until you saw Megumi and his other two friends (Yuji and Nobara) come over.
They greeted you all, Yuji and Nobara talking to your friends as Megumi leaned against the wall next to you, mumbling a small “hey” to you in which you responded back.
It was quiet, neither one of you talking, it wasn’t exactly awkward but you still felt yourself getting flustered over nothing.
You observed your friends interacting with their partners, a small pout appearing on your lips until you suddenly felt something or rather someone grab your hand. You turned to the side and saw that it was Megumi, his cheeks being hidden by his uniform but you could see the tip of his ears were red.
His fingers were entwined with yours, his thumb rubbing small circles on the back of your hand tenderly.
He began walking, taking you with him as he muttered a “let’s get out of here.”
The teacher wasn’t looking so you quickly followed without hesitation even though he was holding your hand so it’s not like you had an option in the first place.
You both walked towards the school parking lot as you caught up to his speed and began walking side to side.
“We can go to my car,” you said shyly, looking at the ground, too flustered to look directly at him.
He hummed in approval, watching you from his peripheral vision.
You both arrived at your car as you unlocked it, getting into the driver’s seat as he sat in the passenger seat.
“Do you think we’ll get in trouble?” You asked, a bit worried of getting caught as you looked around to make sure that there weren’t any administrators.
“I doubt it. We leave early today anyways so they shouldn’t care.” He turned to face you, observing every little detail of you.
You faced him too, not knowing what to say as you looked directly into his eyes.
Those beautiful eyes of his were something you could look at forever and never get tired of staring. Your eyes slowly moved down to his lips, those soft kissable lips.
Gosh how you wished that you could just lean in and press your lips against his, so you could feel how soft they truly were.
And maybe, just maybe he read your mind because he began to lean in, wait what? Was this a dream or was this actually happening?
His hands gently cupped your cheeks, leaning in even closer before mumbling, “May I..?”
All you could do was nod, leaning in even closer, gently pressing your lips against his, your hands in the air, not knowing where to place them before you finally settled them onto the back of his head, your heart pounding so hard that you could feel it in your ears.
The kiss was hesitant at first, until you both got more comfortable and relaxed. He tilted your head, his mouth opening just a bit more wider, making you do the same as your mouth moved in sync with his.
You ran your fingers through his hair without thinking since all you could think of right now was that you were actually kissing Megumi Fushiguro out of all people, the person you thought didn’t have any romantic feelings for you.
You both pulled back for a few seconds to catch some air due to the lack of oxygen, before he suddenly pulled you in again, except this time he hesistantly rolled his tongue into your mouth, testing the waters. You were caught by surprise for a few seconds but soon came to your senses and let him slide his tongue right into your mouth, feeling his tongue find yours almost immediately.
One of your hands glided down to his upper back, feeling the muscles under the fabric as your other hand continued raking through his soft sea urchin hair.
Almost a minute later, he disconnected his mouth from yours, a small string of saliva forming between the two of you as you began to recover from holding in your breath for too long.
Megumi’s face was flushed as he came back to his senses and realized what he did.
You wiped the saliva that was on your lips, your face heating up like a furnace as you looked at him.
“I- Sorry for doing that out of nowhere..” he said quietly, stumbling on his words as he scratched the back of his head awkwardly with his left hand.
“No it’s okay, I liked it. A lot,” you replied back, a small smile forming on your lips.
He paused for a second, being caught off guard by your response, before he started speaking again with a surge of confidence , “I should’ve said this beforehand but I love you way more than what a friend should, I know I’m not perfect but I want to try for you. May you please be my girlfriend?”
“Yes I do without a doubt,” you said eagerly with a huge smile plastered on your face.
He couldn’t help but smile back, his eyes only focusing on your beauty as he pressed a small kiss on your cheek before a sudden voice interrupted, “Oh my gosh, they’re kissing!”
You both looked outside to see Yuji standing right in front of your car with a surprised and flustered(from embarrassment) expression.
