Kim Kibum was a lover of all things in the stars; the planets, the way they aligned, the way the moon affected us as humans. It was his niche, and to hear him go on and on about it all was fascinating to Hyung Jun.
He didn’t fully understand half of what his younger brother was saying, but seeing him be so passionate about something was what really mattered. He could listen to that tone in his voice all day.
Kibum is currently having a moment of extreme enthusiasm, something about how Mercury was finally no longer in retrograde and that it was a new moon upcoming.
Hyung Jun puts down the book he was reading, giving a fond chuckle as he leans over to his brother’s side of the bed. “Kibum.”
Kibum blinks, sits up in slight alarm. “What? Did I forget to bring my crystals inside again? I swear I always forget them when they’re out there charging on the patio and--”
He’s silenced by a soft pair of lips kissing his own. Kibum smiles into the kiss, warmly responding, wrapping himself closer. They kiss for a moment until both are pleasantly breathless.
“I hope you never stop being passionate about the things you love.” Hyung Jun murmurs, bracing their foreheads together. Kibum just sighs, and gives him a lazy grin. “Well, my passions may change in life, but I’ll always love you.”
Kibum leans up to steal another gentle kiss from his hyung, who answers him with a blinding smile. In this moment, they could both proudly bask in how far they had come and everything it took to fight for their rights to love one another.
“I wouldn't have it any other way.” Hyung Jun croons.
