Work Text:

Taeui turns away when Ilay dips his head down to kiss him. Instead he focuses on buttoning the other man’s shirt up, his palm resting against Ilay’s chest. He wasn’t the type to reward bad behavior, and that wasn’t going to change even with his lover whining.

“Give me a kiss.” Ilay demands, dark eyes focusing on his face.

He pretends to not hear him, reaching over to grab the tie that was on the dresser. Taeui is about to put it around Ilay’s neck, pausing when he glances up at Ilay who was still staring at him.

“What did you do to deserve a kiss?” Taeui asks dryly, looping the tie around Ilay’s neck. He scoffs at the pathetic sound that leaves the Esper's mouth, rolling his eyes before leaning up to press their lips together in a chaste kiss. His eyes slip shut when Ilay kisses him back, feeling a large palm resting against the back of his head.

“You didn’t deserve that, you know.” He lectures, reaching for Ilay’s jacket. “You were an asshole earlier—“

“He should know not to ask guiding from you. He has his own partner.” Ilay says, visibly annoyed. He slips his jacket on, scowling at the memory. “It’s your fault too. You’re the one who keeps feeding his delusions.”

Taeui stares up at Ilay, eyes wide in shock. His partner ignores the look that he gives him, instead focusing on pulling Taeui’s jacket on for him.

“Ilay.” He hisses, blushing when he feels the other kiss the top of his head.

“Tay.” Ilay says back, smoothing his hair out.

He can’t help but scoff, pressing his face against Ilay’s chest who then wraps his arms around him. His eyes slip shut when his lover’s fingers card through his hair, inhaling deeply.

“Let’s do a good job today.” Ilay murmurs into his hair.

Taeui peeks up at the other man who smirks. When he tilts his head up for a kiss, Ilay’s eyes soften before leaning down to press their lips together once more.

“I expect you to protect me.” He says, toying with Ilay’s tie. There’s no doubt in his mind that Ilay would, given that he was one of the few S Rank Espers in their division— still, this particular mission had him feeling anxious for some reason.

Taeui swallows when Ilay cups his face in his hands, kissing the tip of his nose. He doesn’t think he can get used to the tenderness that the other man lavishes on him, but he won’t deny that he loves the attention. There was something about feeling like he was the only one who mattered in Ilay’s world. It was something he had never experienced before until meeting Ilay, and he hoped that would never change.

“With my life.” His lover says against his lips.

This was entirely his uncle’s fault— honestly everything in his life was that man’s fault. But this specific situation in which he underestimated the severity of the outbreak already cost them some casualties, so if they managed to survive Taeui was going to make sure to strangle that man and then ask for early retirement.

“Ilay, lean against me.” He says softly, pressing his face against the other man’s shoulder. His anxiety spikes when Ilay doesn’t respond, his eyes squeezed shut. They were both hiding, looking for the opportune time to make a counterattack. Taeui couldn’t do anything though, not without his partner. He was basically useless without an Esper.

“Ilay.” Taeui says again, cupping his lover’s face in his hands. He leans forward, pressing their lips together in a desperate attempt to heal the other. His tongue drags across Ilay’s bottom lip, only relaxing when Ilay opens his mouth.

Ilay’s hands slide across his back, cupping at his ass. He deepens the kiss, sucking on Taeui’s tongue who then moans quietly.

“Princess.” Ilay breathes out, stroking Taeui’s hair.

He throws his arms around the larger man, hugging him tightly only for him to be squeezed back in return. It takes him everything not to sniff, face buried in Ilay’s neck who rubs at his back slowly.

“Don’t do that again.” He bites out, voice shaky. “If you sacrifice yourself, I’m going to ask them to assign me to Christoph if you die—“

Ilay kisses him roughly, immediately shutting his tempter tantrum down. He bites and sucks at Taeui’s bottom lip, pulling away to admire his work.

“Come on.” Taeui murmurs, pushing himself up. He holds his hands out, which Ilay takes before squeezing them gently. “They’ve called for back up already, but I don’t know how fast they’ll arrive.” He says in a worried tone.

Ilay hums, shrugging.

“It won’t matter too much. We’ll be done by the time they get here.”

The Guide looks at Ilay with an unamused expression, narrowing his eyes when the other man laces his fingers together. Why did he get stuck with such an overconfident bastard? Granted he had the talent to back it up, but still.

“Ilay—“

Ilay kisses his forehead.

“I expect you to guide me.” He says to Taeui, raising an eyebrow expectantly.

Taeui gawks at Ilay, reaching over to punch his shoulder only for the Esper to grab his fist. He smirks, tilting his head to the side. Ilay watches Taeui with a fond expression, kissing his knuckles.

“Like I haven’t been doing that this entire time!” He whisper-yells.

Ilay blinks innocently, kissing his fingers.

“Do a better job then.”

He only laughs when Taeui struggles in his grasp, ready to strangle him instead of his uncle.

Ilay doesn’t know what went wrong.

He’s never failed before. The concept was foreign to him. Failure? What was that?

Ilay’s life was handed to him on a diamond spoon. Born into a wealthy family that loved and spoiled him. He was an extremely gifted Esper who outranked nearly everyone in the world. His story was one for the history books; a man so talented that there was no way that anyone could replicate him ever again.

Yet Ilay’s life was so dull. His world was bleak and colorless— there was an endless amount of men and women with money overflowing to such a point that a mere snap of his brother’s fingers would solve any problem he instigated.

But he wasn’t happy. For the longest time Ilay was sure he didn’t know how to experience emotions other than anger or pleasure. Happiness, compassion, love? The concept sounded ridiculous to someone like him. No one had instilled such feelings before; no one until he met Taeui.

The man was an S Rank Guide with amazing healing capabilities. Not only that, but his natural empathy for people made him a great candidate for most if not all Espers. He had plenty of failed relationships with Guides, usually their match rating was passable but not perfect. Ilay was a ticking time bomb; a perfectionist who hated getting his hands dirty.

The largest compatibility he had with someone before Taeui was 70%, which was fine. No one lasted long— especially not with his temperament. He was used to the idea of Guides coming in and out, not staying for too long. Instead he focused on clearing dungeons and killing monsters.

That was until Jeong Chang-In matched him with his nephew, Jeong Taeui who had a match rate with him of 99%. It was a shock to everyone in the center— something completely unheard of. 75%? Not bad. 80% was great, probably the best most could ever get.

90% was unbelievable. Maybe a rate that occurred once in a blue moon. Nearly 100%? That meant only one thing, and that was soulmate territory.

However it made perfect sense.

The moment he laid his eyes on Taeui, Ilay felt an indescribable emotion; one that he had never experienced before. Was it nervousness or perhaps anxiety? He had the desperate need to appear capable, even though Ilay’s track records in dungeons clearly showed his strength. No one could deny it. He truly was the best in the world.

But would Taeui feel that way? It was such a silly question. When had he cared about what another person thought?

Ilay remembered his breath catching in his throat when Taeui stared at his hand for a long time, taking them into his own to give them a gentle shake. The other man’s hand felt rougher than his own; showcasing his hard work out on the field. They were smaller— not delicate, but still the perfect size to hold onto. It was as if they were made to fit into Ilay’s hands; carved by the Gods in such a detailed manner for him to guard and protect

“You keep staring at my hands.” Ilay said, somewhat amused.

His eyes twinkled in mischief at the sight of Taeui blushing. He squeezed Ilay’s hands one more time, pulling away much to his disappointment.

“You have nice hands,” Taeui admitted quietly, he paused for a brief second. “You must take really good care of them—“

He squeaked when Ilay took his hand, who then laced their fingers together. The Esper raised it to his lips, kissing Taeui’s knuckles softly, dark eyes locked onto warm brown ones.

“Just like how I plan on taking care of you.” Ilay said with a smirk. His grin widened at the sight of Taeui’s blush darkening, yet the smaller man didn't pull away. Instead, Taeui reached out and touched Ilay’s cheek hesitantly, who immediately leaned into his palm.

“That’s what I expect from the world’s strongest Esper.” Taeui retorted sarcastically, although his eyes flickered with an unreadable emotion.

Ilay’s world became colorful after that.

“Taeui.”

There’s blood everywhere. From the wall to the floors, his gloves are stained crimson. The source of liquid comes straight from the body in front of him. His palms press against the wound on Taeui’s stomach, applying pressure as an attempt to stop the bleeding.

He doesn’t know what happened. He doesn’t know what went wrong. Nothing in his life has ever gone amiss— everything has been absolutely perfect.

Ilay was born talented. He was born into a rich, supportive family. He met his soulmate by chance; the one and only person that he’s ever loved and would only love. There would be no color in his world if there was no Taeui.

“Jeong Taeui.” Ilay grits out, reaching up to press his fingertips on Taeui’s neck. He freezes instantly when he feels nothing against his fingers.

Ilay rips his gloves off, tossing them to the side. He presses down once more pulse point, stilling when he still feels nothing. It’s impossible, there’s no way that Taeui doesn’t have a pulse. His body is warm, he can feel it. Ilay can feel it— he can still feel the connection.

“Taeui. Taeui!” Ilay yells, pressing his palms against Taeui’s chest. He begins with compressions, barely holding everything together. Ilay absolutely refuses; he’s not going to hand Taeui to some fictional deity.

Not when he hasn’t told him.

His compressions are nearly frantic now. He’s losing it, he’s going to lose his mind. He hasn’t planned out a life without Taeui, he can’t live without Taeui. His life was so bleak before and now it finally has meaning, what would the point be in continuing on if Taeui wasn’t there with him?

Ilay leans down, pressing their lips together. He’s desperate, he doesn’t know what to do at this point. He continues with his compressions, barely noticing the medic who approaches him and tries to pull him off. His reaction is instant, shoving the other man aside roughly without sparing him a glance.

“Riegrow, he’s gone.” Chang-in says behind him. His tone is professional, albeit distant. Did he even care about what was happening with Taeui? The man was talking as if he were bored, indifferent to the possibility of losing his nephew.

“Shut up!” He hisses, barely containing his decorum— not that Ilay had any to begin with.

Ilay focuses all of his attention on Taeui, palm pressed against his lover’s chest. He kisses the other once more, breathing into him more desperately this time. Was this karma for all the bad things he had done in his life? Was this retribution for everything he had done? He would have been fine if it happened to him alone, of course he deserved it.

But not Taeui. Not the only person who’s ever treated him with warmth and kindness, not the man who has never looked down on another person and would always put someone else’s needs before his own.

His eyes are wet, an alien feeling. Ilay has never cried before, not even as a child. He’s never had a reason to as there was never anything that important in his life to spare any emotions towards. He blinks a few times, watching Taeui who continues to lie motionless on the floor. Fingers curl into the fabric of the Guide’s shirt, continuing to blink away at the tears that slowly fall onto Taeui’s cheek.

“Jeong Taeui! Who fucking told you that you could die on me? I won’t allow it.” Ilay barely manages to get out through the tears. He moves his hands upwards, starting on compressions again. This time they’re panicked, almost messy as if trying to grab at whatever life that still remains. He’s not sure if it’s actually doing anything at this point, but he can’t give up now.

“You can’t leave me. You belong to me, you belong to me and I need to tell you that I love—“

Taeui suddenly wheezes, coughing hard. He covers his mouth with his hand, coughing again. Ilay’s eyes widen, staring in shock before the medics come over and try to see if they can intervene which he immediately allows them to. He can only watch in disbelief as they assist Taeui onto a stretcher, checking his vitals.

“He’s alive, but critical. We have to get him out of here now.” One of the medics says, looking over at Ilay and then at Chang-in.

His breath catches in his throat when his ears pick up on what Taeui says before being dragged away.

“Ilay.” Taeui whispers weakly. His eyes are still closed, and he’s struggling to breathe but the only thing he keeps repeating is Ilay’s name over and over again.

He visits Taeui every day. His vitals are now stable, they say it’s some sort of miracle that he managed to survive despite the deep laceration. He still hasn’t woken up from the surgery however, but it should be fine— he’s alive, he’ll wake up.

At least Ilay hopes he will. He doesn’t pray to a God that doesn’t exist. If there was one that was real, he doesn’t understand how they would bestow the amount of misfortune Taeui has experienced throughout his life. Instead he works on thinking about what to say when Taeui wakes up.

It’s been nearly a week since the attack. He spends the majority of his time in the hospital room, never leaving other than to go home and shower quickly. The rest of his day is spent watching Taeui and browsing through boring paperwork. Ilay even sleeps in the cot next to the other man’s bed, absolutely refusing to leave his side.

He’s flipping through some files, rubbing at his temples in irritation. Ilay considers calling Chang-in to chew him out about how absolutely useless his subordinates are that they can’t even spell properly, but he freezes instead.

“Ilay?”

Ilay stands up, rushing towards the bed. He glances down at Taeui who’s blinking sleepily, obviously drowsy and disoriented from everything. He can only stare at his lover stupidly, hands trembling against his sides. In an instant he reaches over, pulling Taeui into his arms.

“Mm… Ilay.” Taeui murmurs, pressing his cheek against Ilay’s shoulder. The smaller man’s eyes slip shut, his hands resting against the Esper’s back who holds him tightly. “I’m so happy you’re okay, Ilay—“

“Me? What about you? You almost died.” Ilay hisses, grabbing Taeui’s shoulders. He looks down at the Guide, brows furrowed in anger. Taeui opens his eyes, looking at him almost like a dejected puppy. Ilay grits his teeth at the sight, turning his head away to avoid staring directly into those eyes that would definitely lure him into submission.

He exhales when Taeui touches his cheek, glancing over at him. Taeui’s thumb drags across his lower lashline, studying his face quietly. It’s as if he’s taking in the sight, fingers running across Ilay’s face in a tender motion.

“Ilay.” Taeui says softly, leaning up to kiss him.

His reaction is immediate. He kisses the other man desperately, holding Taeui’s body against his own. His teeth dig into Taeui’s bottom lip, tongue slipping inside when his lover opens his mouth with a gasp.

Despite being asleep moments earlier, Taeui’s nimble fingers work fast to unbutton his shirt. Ilay slides it off with ease, relishing in his touch as Taeui’s hands slide down his back.

“You’re still hurt.” Ilay says against Taeui’s lips. He’s hesitant, despite the obvious desire that courses through his veins. As much as he would like to, there’s a part of him that feels afraid. What if he hurts Taeui or perhaps this is just a dream due to his lack of sleep?

Taeui hums, dragging his fingertips across Ilay’s spine. He’s quiet for a moment, before laughing softly.

“When did you become so considerate?” He teases, looking up at Ilay with a smile. His hands slide up, running his fingers through Ilay’s hair, stroking at the silver locks tenderly.

“You almost died.” Ilay hisses. “Who told you that you were allowed to die?”

“I dreamt about you.” Taeui admits quietly, looking at Ilay with a fond expression. His eyes sparkle with an obvious emotion, one that has his breath stilling. Even after chasing death, this man is thinking about everyone else but himself. “Actually, I thought I did die for a moment. I saw my mom and dad… But I didn’t want to go just yet, even if I missed them.”

Taeui looks down, toying with the ends of Ilay’s hair. He smiles slightly, a melancholic one. His eyes slip shut, trying to hide the tears that threaten to fall.

“But I said to myself, how could I leave you all alone? When you have such a bad attitude, and don’t know how to do laundry, or even fold your clothes…” He trails off, voice cracking slightly. “What kind of person would I be if I had someone else shackle themselves to you?”

Ilay touches Taeui’s cheek who immediately presses his face against his palm. He nuzzles Ilay, pleased with the warmth that radiates from his body.

“Taeui.” He begins, swallowing. Ilay tries to think of the right words to say. He has so many things to tell him, he needs to tell Taeui now because Ilay has realized forever isn’t promised for either of them.

Taeui opens his eyes, looking up at Ilay. He covers Ilay’s hand with his own, squeezing softly in reassurance. The way he stares at Ilay with warmth and adoration that’s only reserved for him has his heart beating frantically in his chest.

“Taeui— Taeui, I need you to know.” Ilay says through a shaky voice. It’s unlike him, completely out of character and his nervousness seems to startle the smaller man whose brows furrow in concern. Shaking his head, Ilay tries to continue. “Taeui, I love—“

His voice cracks, causing him to stop. Ilay’s words are stuck in his throat, and he can’t get anything out. He grits his teeth in frustration, holding onto Taeui’s hand tightly.

“Ilay, I know.” Taeui says gently, his eyes softening. He smiles, squeezing Ilay’s hand again. “You don’t have to say anything, I’ve always known.”

Of course he has, Ilay thinks to himself. Taeui is the only person who understood Ilay. He was the only one who knew him more than he actually knew himself. He picked up on everything. Taeui knew what triggered his anger, he learned what made him laugh or what would make him happy. He was able to read Ilay’s thoughts just like he was meant to.

But still, it wasn’t good enough that his lover knew but never heard the words directly.

“It’s different hearing it, isn’t it?”

Taeui hums, moving his hand away. He rests his hands against Ilay’s chest, giving a gentle squeeze. There’s a brief silence with Taeui clearly contemplating his words before he speaks shyly.

“Show me how much you love me.” Taeui pleads.

This time he can’t say no. Not when Taeui asks him like that, or when his eyes are wet with tears meant for Ilay only. He dips his head down, kissing Taeui softly who returns his kiss as if he were starving.

He feels his lover’s hands slide down his back, fingertips tracing over the defined muscles that he knew Taeui was fond of. Ilay can’t help but shiver against his touch, mouthing at Taeui’s bottom lip who lets out a quiet whine in response.

Ilay pulls away, snorting when Taeui whines even louder. He smirks, reaching over to untie his gown. He leans down again, pressing his lips against the Guide’s ear, whispering quietly.

“I’ve spoiled you too much, haven’t I?”

Taeui makes a noise, causing him to laugh at the look he gives Ilay. He helps the other man to remove his gown, peeking at bandages that covered his right side. Hesitation flickers in his eyes, something that Taeui notices as he reaches to cup Ilay’s face in his hands.

“I can handle it. I’ve been through worse, and you didn’t think about how I felt then.” Taeui says teasingly, but he’s still uncertain. During those missions, Taeui wasn’t between life or death— this was an entirely different situation.

When he says nothing, Taeui huffs, reaching for Ilay’s hand. He pauses, watching as the other kisses his fingers before dragging his tongue across Ilay’s fingertips. His eyes darken at the sight, transfixed on those plump lips that take Ilay’s fingers inside and begin to suck on them greedily.

Ilay inhales deeply, tilting his head to the side as he watches Taeui suck on his fingers. He swallows around them, warm brown eyes locking into his own dark grey ones and that’s when his resolve weakens.

He pulls his hand away, ignoring the disappointed noise that comes from Taeui. Instead he reaches over for his jacket, digging around in his pocket. Ilay pauses when Taeui nudges him with foot.

“You’re acting like you didn’t want to, but you’re carrying lube around, pervert.” Taeui lectures, his foot pressed against Ilay’s crotch. He spares the other a glance, raising a brow when Taeui presses harder against his erection.

“I’ll have you know, I always carry this around because a certain someone is an insatiable nymph.” Ilay says, smirking when Taeui’s eyes widen. He sputters, trying to kick Ilay away who shakes his head, reaching over to tug his lover’s underwear off.

“What? You were begging to be fucked earlier. Now you want to act like a demure virgin?”

Ilay’s smirk widens at the indignant noise that comes from Taeui, uncapping the bottle of lube. He coats his fingers carefully, using his free hand to spread Taeui’s legs apart. Ilay pauses briefly, taking in the sight of the smaller man.

“W-what are you staring at!” Taeui hisses, trying to cross his legs. Ilay clicks his tongue, squeezing Taeui’s thigh gently. He reaches down, his fingertips dragging over the other man’s entrance to spread the gel around.

“I’m looking at what’s mine.” He says as if stating an obvious fact. Taeui opens his mouth to protest, but bites his lip instead when Ilay slides two of his fingers inside. He works his fingers slowly, pressing kisses along Taeui’s jaw.

“Relax for me, princess. You’ve done this plenty of times.”

Taeui tilts his head away, gasping quietly when Ilay angles his fingers slightly. He clenches around them, chewing on his bottom lip.

“Did I find something good?” Ilay asks mockingly, laughing when Taeui clenches around his fingers once more. He mumbles in Korean, something along the lines of ‘Go to Hell, you bastard.’ The words only spur Ilay on, thrusting his fingers quickly which elicits a moan to spill from Taeui’s lips.

His eyes glint mischievously, pressing in a third finger. Before Taeui can protest again, Ilay shifts slightly to lower himself. He looks up at Taeui through thick eyelashes, relishing in the confused look his lover gives him.

“I-Ilay—“

Ilay drags his tongue across the underside of Taeui’s cock. He rubs at the other’s inner walls, moving his fingers teasingly, just within reach of that sensitive spot. Taeui squirms against the bed, reaching down to grab at Ilay’s hair. He tugs at the silver locks, moaning quietly when Ilay takes him into his mouth.

His eyes slip shut, sucking gently. His focus today is to make Taeui feel good despite his teasing. Ilay wants him to know how much he desires him— no, he wants Taeui to know how much he loves him.

Ilay swallows around Taeui’s cock, thrusting his fingers quickly. He angles them again, pressing directly against Taeui’s prostate. He listens to his lover whimpering, grinding back against his fingers desperately. The sound goes straight to his dick that twitches painfully in his pants, but he has to focus on his main goal for now.

He presses his fingers deeper, bobbing his head as he sucks on Taeui’s length harder. His tongue presses flatly against the underside of his cock, slowly moving upwards before pressing against the slit. This alongside the repeated brush of his fingertips against Taeui’s prostate has the other man trembling, spilling his come into Ilay’s mouth.

Ilay stills his fingers, swallowing around Taeui. He pulls away after a moment, licking his lips to gather at whatever remnants of the other’s release is left over. His fingers follow shortly after, watching Taeui tensing at the sudden emptiness. Ilay inhales deeply, leaning over to kiss and suck at Taeui’s inner thigh. He bites down on the skin possessively, looking up at the Guide who rubs at his head.

“Ilay.” Taeui breathes out. He sounds so debauched already and Ilay hasn’t fucked him properly yet. Ilay kisses Taeui’s thigh one more time, pushing himself up. He works on unbuckling his belt, tossing it to the side.

“Tay.” Ilay says back fondly, unbuttoning his pants and pulling his zipper down. Before he can react, Taeui’s hands are on him. He swallows when he feels Taeui’s fingertips ghosting over his strained erection in his underwear, watching as he chews on his bottom lip, looking up at Ilay innocently.

Taeui pulls Ilay’s underwear off, wrapping his fingers around his cock. He strokes Ilay slowly, savoring the weight in his hands.

Ilay groans, pressing back against Taeui’s palm. The other man reaches over, grabbing the lube. He pours the liquid directly on Ilay, squeezing him gently. His fingertips drag across sensitive veins, pressing his thumb against the head of Ilay’s cock. When he feels Ilay twitching against him, he offers the Esper a small smile.

“Lie back down, I don’t want you to hurt yourself.”

There’s something with the way he says it that causes Taeui’s eyes to soften slightly, leaning back against the bed. Ilay squeezes Taeui’s thighs, spreading his legs apart. He pauses briefly, looking over at the bandaged area only to jerk back when Taeui leans over to bite his cheek.

“I’ll be fine. I’m the only one who can handle you, remember? So I’m not made of glass.” He teases, wrapping his arms around Ilay’s neck. Ilay hums in approval, dragging the head of his cock over Taeui’s hole.

“You’re made of something more precious.” Ilay admits quietly, taking note of how the tip of Taeui’s ears turn a bright red at his comment. He dips his head down, kissing Taeui softly as he presses into him slowly.

Taeui whimpers against his mouth, short nails digging into pale skin. Ilay tilts his head slightly, mouthing at his lover’s neck.

“It’s okay. I got you, princess.” He whispers into Taeui’s ear, sliding in all the way. Ilay inhales deeply, pressing his face against the top of Taeui’s head. With how tight the other man was squeezing him, he doubts he’s going to last long at this rate.

“Taeui, I need you to relax or I’ll come right now—“

Ilay curses in German when Taeui clenches hard around him. He picks up on the soft laughter from below, his eyes narrowing at the sight of Taeui grinning up at him.

“If you’re feeling good enough to not listen, I suppose I don’t have to go easy on you, hm?”

He smiles when Taeui’s eyes widen, shaking his head vehemently. Ilay pulls out slowly, leaving only the tip inside before slamming back in. Taeui cries out, clawing at Ilay’s back who only laughs in response.

“I-Ilay, you jerk!” He moans out, smacking at his back with open palms.

Ilay nuzzles Taeui, pulling out once more only to slide back in. Despite his previous statement, he starts slowly at first— he still has some sympathy for his lover despite being so bad. His movements are deep, slow thrusts that cause Taeui to gasp with each motion.

Taeui pulls Ilay down, kissing him desperately. His tongue drags across the larger man’s bottom lip, moaning his name loudly when Ilay thrusts at a particular angle.

He’s hesitant to move any faster due to the wound, not even touching that general area. Instead he pulls Taeui’s legs against his waist, the other taking the cue to wrap his legs around him. Ilay rolls his hips, dragging his tongue along Taeui’s throat, savoring the taste that’s unique to him alone.

“Ilay, Ilay—“ Taeui cries out when Ilay slams into him, rubbing against his prostate directly. When he feels Taeui clamping tightly around his dick, he exhales loudly, snapping his hips forward. He reaches down, wrapping his fingers around Taeui’s length, stroking him alongside his thrusts.

Ilay pumps Taeui’s cock quickly, gritting his teeth at the feeling of the other tightening around him once more. The tight heat is getting to him; he’s nearing his own release.

And then his brain short circuits from the words that come out of Taeui’s mouth.

“Ilay, please. Please fill me up.” Taeui begs in that particular whiny manner that he knows Ilay is weak to. His cock twitches deep inside of the other man, his eyes darkening as he looks down at Taeui; his face flushed red, eyes wet and covered with tears. His bottom lip is swollen from being bitten over and over again, and the sight makes him want to carve his essence into the other.

“You want it that badly, Taeui?” Ilay coos into his ear, grinding into him teasingly. “You want me to fill you up with my come?”

He tightens his grasp, stroking Taeui faster. His own thrusts become erratic at this point, still being mindful of the injury but quickening his pace to press against the sensitive bundle of nerves once more.

Taeui tilts his head back, digging his nails into pale flesh. He comes for a second time that night, a strangled moan escaping from his throat as he spills his release into Ilay’s palm.

Ilay leans down, pressing his face against Taeui’s neck, as he ruts into him. He comes with a low groan, his cock buried deep inside of the other, coating his insides white.

He breathes harshly, nosing alongside Taeui’s neck before groaning again at the feeling of Taeui’s inner walls clenching around him, trying to milk him for every last drop of his come.

“Insatiable.” Ilay murmurs into Taeui’s hair, kissing his temple. Taeui shoves at his chest to push him away, but he leans down instead to press their lips together. He returns Ilay’s kiss shyly, carding his fingers through the Esper’s hair.

Ilay kisses the corner of Taeui’s mouth, pulling out slowly despite the other’s whines. He squeezes the Guide’s knee gently, looking over at his wound and then glancing back at his entrance. His pupils dilate at the sight of the Taeui’s hole, so wet and pink with all of his come spilling out. If it were any other time, he would have fucked him once more or even make Taeui wear a plug to keep everything inside.

Instead he strokes Taeui’s thigh, leaning down to kiss his knee.

“Let me clean you up.”

Ilay takes his time with the aftercare, making sure to clean Taeui carefully and watch for any bleeding on his side. He reaches forward, stroking Taeui’s hair gently while the other man looks up at him.

He feels those same warm brown eyes watching him carefully, almost as if confirming that he was still here. Ilay pulls the blanket up, tucking Taeui in who squirms in response.

“Ilay—“

“I love you.”

It’s sudden, completely out of the blue. The timing is hardly romantic as they’re in the middle of a hospital room with IVs and beeping machines, but he has the courage to say it now. Ilay takes Taeui’s hand into his own, leaning down to kiss his knuckles like when they first met one another.

“I never told you that directly— even if you say you always knew. I couldn’t live with myself knowing that I never told you that.” Ilay says in an uncharacteristically soft tone. He rubs Taeui’s ring finger, studying it for a long moment.

He feels Taeui’s eyes on him, the other man lacing their fingers together.

“I love you too, Ilay.” He says gently, squeezing Ilay’s hand. He looks back at Taeui who smiles at him, holding his arms out. Ilay’s gaze softens, moving closer to pull Taeui against him. He presses his face against the top of his head, inhaling his scent deeply.

“But I really want a vacation.” Taeui whines into Ilay’s shoulder. He can only laugh in response, stroking the back of Taeui’s head.

“Don’t worry. You’ll get whatever you want once I’m done with your uncle.” Ilay muses, already plotting his revenge.
