Chapter Text
Currently, Nick just took a plane crash and is wondering through the woods. In his zombified state, his mind is still somewhat working. The Grimm in him working it's magic
So he's able to think, if only at a simple level for the time being. His one thought right now is to find Monroe. He knows something is wrong with himself.
Monroe will know how to fix it. He fixes everything. So, he's looking around. His eyes hurt but he can still see, a bit blurred though. He's looking for anything he recognizes, because he doesn't smell or hear anything familiar.
He sees pavement and bright lights, maybe it's the city? He goes over to it. It's a store? He thinks. Maybe they can help him?
He goes in, he looks around for a moment. Trying to think. It's loud and bright. Overstimulating in his current situation. Then a man comes up to him, and says something.
Maybe he'll help? But what did he say? Nick tries to say something, but it's like his brain won't connect to his mouth.
Then the man shoves him. Why? Is he going to hurt him to? Like the man and the pilot? Nick decides to fight back. But other people try to fight him to.
What's going on? Why does everyone want to hurt him? Do they know he's a Grimm? Are they wesen? They don't look like wesen?
Eventually, he gets everyone done. Thank God, they won't hurt him anymore. He finds a door and goes back into the woods. Way less loud and bright.
He wanders for a little, before he sees a house, with people. Maybe they can help him?
He goes up there but they run? He follows and tries to get his words to work. But he can't. He wants to scream. The people start to be loud, like the other people were
Then two men come in and try to hurt him. Why is everyone hurting him? These two smell familiar. But then why are they hurting him?
He follows them to a old looking building. They eventually leave. And he can't find a way out. How is he supposed to find Monroe now
Wait. That smell? Monroe? Definitely! He tries to get out. And four people come in. What do they want?
They surround him and try to do something. What exactly, he's not sure. But he knows a trap when he sees one. So he focuses on getting away and trying to make them stop
Until he hears
"Nick!"
That's Monroe's voice. He looks around. He doesn't recognize anyone, until the last one. It's Monroe, smells like him and even through his blurry eyes he can tell
He goes for him immediately. He needs him
Pov swap, to narrator
Monroe tries to back up but he's against a wall. Nick comes way closer. Normally monroe would definitely be happy to have nick this close. But he's unsure of how zombie nick will react
He tries to get away. Sean and hank try to distract nick before Rosalie suddenly says
"Wait! Wait. Guys stop, just hold still"
Monroe immediately says
"What! Hold still?"
"Yes, just, just wait. He doesn't seem to be trying to attack you."
Sean looks at Nick
"Now that you say something, he doesn't. Monroe, he might recognize you"
Monroe looks surprised and decides to stay still. Maybe nick will attack him, but he should he able to handle it.
Instead nick seems to watch him for a minute before moving closer and instead of trying to attack or something. He tries to get behind Monroe.
Monroe, stays still and lets nick do this
Rosalie says
"I think he recognizes you but not us. He might be scared of us."
Monroe looks surprised
"Scared? How can he be scared? He's like a tank right now"
"Yes, but he's a Grimm, he could still be able to think, at least enough to think that he's being attacked. Let's all go outside, you try to maybe calm him?"
"Yeah, ok, but if I yell, you better help me"
Monroe says as they leave the barn. He slowly turns around to nick. He looks so on edge. It's definitely bad if a Grimm is scared
"Nick? Bud? Can you hear me?"
Nick looks up. So good, he can definitely hear
"Can you understand me?"
Judging on the blank look on nicks face, he guesses no. He decides to slowly raise his hand up
Nick flinches but seems to stay somewhat calm
"do you want to go home?"
Nick immediately looks up
"Oh? Home*
Nick nods, clear as day. Ok, maybe he can't understand everything, but he definitely understands home. So Monroe decides to nod back.
That clearly makes nick happy, because he hugs Monroe
Monroe grabs his hand and gently takes him outside
"Ok, guys, he seems to be ok, he understands the word home. So I say we take him there?"
They all get in the car, but nick, being afraid of everyone else right now, shoves himself onto Monroe's lap
He takes the chance to gentle give nick the antidote. It seems to work since he falls asleep and slumps against him.
