Chapter Text
Peter stood in front of his laptop, chewing his lip, leaning with his hips against his counter top.
I should have bought these a week ago.
He absent mindedly brushed dust away from the track pad while he scrolled.
How hard can it be to find hanukkah candles when it’s literally about to start tonight?
There’s the always beautiful options, that woulda been lovely to have, if he had simply ordered them on his last check. Why didn’t he again? The ash tray of half smoked roaches speaks volumes about what he’s been up to in his off time, no wonder his memory is shot.
Next year I’m gonna get some of those that have the artsy paint splatters on them, yeah.
Instead of a reasonably near Judaica shop, the search results were topped by something advertising a menorah lighting downtown. Well, if there’s anywhere to actually find someone who can help me get candles, it would be there. When does it start? Event at 4:30, candle lighting at 5:30. Easy peasey, don’t have to worry about the bus till 4 to get there on time. He sets a quick timer on his phone to remember to get dressed before leaving for the bus.
Best get the dishes done before I go.
