Work Text:
A lonely person standing in front of the seemingly empty space. No mortal is able to sense the difference, yet thanks to the alliance and scripts he learned about the truth.
The person summons a sword, sword that holds big power. He stole it a while ago from the most famous pvp experience. The ice crown shines on his head. His blonde, almost yellow hair get blown by the wind.
Taking out a key he connects it to his own GUI. The hacking device buzzing with power. A power no mortal should have. After all those years he can finally reunite with his friends, friends that are like his family.
He runs the script and sashes through the air with Darkheart. Normally it wouldn't do anything, but the key creates a rift in the code. The entrance to Banlands, a weak point Doombringer failed to notice.
It takes a while, the alarms are blasting. ITrapped is standing on the border between freedom and prison. Then he notices his friends, they're free. Both Ellernate and Caleb ran out and hug their friend. They were separated for literal years.
- "You really did it. You really did it!"- Caleb celebrates.
- "Took you a while too."- Ellernate pretens he's annoyed, but his expression remains happy.
- "The old people were the lively type."- ITrapped rolls his eyes. On his usually serious face there's visible a smile.
Suddenly the trio hear clapping noise. They separate from the hug, looking at the another person leaving the Banlands.
- "I have to say. I started to doubt you."- The person smiles, his head tilting.
- "But I succeeded. Now you're free too. Let's go."- ITrapped answers, remembering old deal. A backup plan.
Instead of agreeing, the person just laughs. It confuses the May Madness Group.
- "What's so funny?"- Ellernate asks, suspicion in his voice.
- "...You really thought that's all? I want revenge. And what's better than an army of angry hackers that were rotting in Banlands."
- "What? Scripter that wasn't a part of the deal!"- Caleb shouts, glaring at the banned ex admin.
- "Back then you were just a precaution. I didn't know I would resent them so much. I already have people agreeing with me."
- "That's why were you sending out messages. You were planning this."- Ellernate says, realisation coming to him.
- "Indeed. Now you three have a choice. Join me... Or run away like a kicked puppy."- Scripter sneers.
- "We haven't reunited just so we could end up back in the Banlands. "- ITrapped speaks up, still holding the Darkheart.
- "Fine. It's your choice. But don't ever think of coming back to me after I win."- The God says. May Madness is about to leave, but suddenly Scripter speaks up again.
- "Oh. I almost forgotten. I'll be taking back what belongs to me."- He walks over to ITrapped, ripping out of his code a script that was attached there. ITrapped screams out, falling on his knees.
- "HEY!!!"- Caleb is really to throw hands. Scripter puts his hands in the air, a mock surrender.
- "Relax. He doesn't need extended life span anymore. Now get lost. I don't want to deal with sacredly cats like you."
May Madness grow run away. Ellernate and Caleb supporting ITrapped who still was adapting to sudden change in his code. Scripter turns around, looking at the ripped entrance to Banlands. Now free he can use his powers again.
He creates a card with script written on it and throws it inside Banlands, freeing all his teammates, all his soldiers. Summoning his single-edged sword he shouts at the hackers leaving the Banlands, seeing sunlight for the first time in years.
- "LET'S SHOW THOSE ADMINS WHO IS BOSS!!!"- Scripter shouts, his resentment empowered by hatred and pain of rotting in the Banlands.
Doombringer looks up from the pile of papers on his desk. It's nothing compared to the first years without Builderman, Shedletsky and Dussekar. But it still feels a lot.
He feels like something is really wrong in Banlands. The god stands up, worry on his face. He still has no idea where 1x1x1x1 disappeared without a trace, he doesn't want to risk another person escaping.
He teleports to the prison. Hoping everything is alright. What he didn't expect was to find Banlands mostly empty. With each step growing more panicked, he walks through the dark corridors of the mind breaking prison. That's when he notices a hole, hole in the code.
Doombringer freezes, then he finally notices someone in a cell. He runs over and shouts at the chained person.
- "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE!?"
- "...Heh... Why should I help you?"- The person looks up. There are eye bags under his eyes. Doombringer glares.
- "I won't ask you again."
- ".... Banlands really gave me time to think.... But not everyone did the same.... Your old friend is currently leading an army to the HQ. Idiot wants a complete takeover."
- "What? Who-.... Scripter."
- "Hehe. Bingo!"- The hacker laughs, but it quickly turns broken. Before Doombringer can teleport back, the hacker asks him one last question.
- "Hey. Before I go... Can my case be reopened? I just want to see my family man.... If they're still alive. This place messes with my head."
Doombringer stares at this clearly broken person. There's true regret on his face. Doombringer can read people really well and he can see the hacker means no harm.
Besides, he has a gut feeling that something bad might happen and he doesn't want to forget about the hacker. The admin summons a leg tracker, attaching it to the leg of the hacker.
- "If the situation is as bad as you told me. I might not be able to reopen it anytime soon. Go for now. I'll find you once it's all over."- Doombringer says while using his panel to dissolve the chains.
- "Oh... Thank you. Thank you so much."- The ex hacker whispers through tears, running away through the rift. Doombringer closing it soon after, making sure it won't be opened ever again.
The admin then teleports back to the HQ. The sky has a weird red tint around it. He quickly walks through the corridors, eventually spotting Reese.
- "Doombringer! What's going on?"- The goddess asks with worry.
- "Get others. Someone broke into Banlands. There's an army of angry hackers incoming."- Doombringer orders, quickly running to the intercom so he can order Robloxians to evacuate.
Meanwhile Reese runs through corridors getting the rest of the admins ready. Security alarms are blasting, they can hear Doombringer warning people and telling them to evacuate right now.
Each admins stop in what they were doing. Sorcus' half finished ritual forgotten. The brownies got bitten and abandoned. The paperwork scattered. They all head to the area outside of HQ.
Doombringer explains to rest what happened in the Banlands. They're all worried and get ready for battle.
- "Remember, out goal is to make them return to the Banlands and protect Robloxia."- Doombringer says, looking at each of the people present.
- "Jane. Roblox. Both of you are powerful then normal robloxians, but please. You need to go."- BrightEyes begs the two people.
- "I refuse. You all told me the will of my Creator. Making sure Robloxia survives. I won't be able to achieve it if I simply run away."- Roblox is the first one to speak up, his face remaining without visible emotion, but his eyes are full of determination.
- "Roblox."- Doombringer frowns, a warning in his voice.
- "You might be the current leader of Robloxia. And I respect authorities. But I won't run. I will fight, even if it means death."
- "...I want to help too."- Jane speaks up.
- "Jane!"
- "I know the risks, but please. Let us help."- Jane insists, grabbing Robox's hand when she says 'us'. Both of them are detriment to help.
Before they can argue further. Stickmasterluke notices people coming in. He senses glitches in the air, power that puts the Robloxia in danger.
- "Guys... They're coming."- The youngest god speaks up. His eyes darting around, scanning over the Robloxians he sees.
- "...Get ready. You two, if things get too much. Just run."- Doombringer orders.
- "Do you want me to fly up and see how many of them are coming?"- Luke offers, with a second of hesitation Doombringer nods in agreement.
The God Of Weather spreads his wings and flies up. He hovers in the air. The sight makes his blood run cold. There are many of the hackers appearing. Each of them has their own trick, own GUI.
The air glitches around him, orange particles appearing. Luke is forced to quickly dodge when someone teleports a spear that almost pierced him.
- "DOOM! THEY'RE ATTACKING!"- The admin shouts. The battle begins.
At first the both sides were equal. Admins used their god powers. Some hackers are soaked in the rain and then electrified. Some end up getting hit with a scythe that sends them to the land of the dead. Others face their end without chance of afterlife.
But after a long while of fighting, an issue appeared. There were much more of the hackers, and no matter how long the admins were fighting, they began to get tired, slowly loosing.
Doombringer wipes off the blood on his face. Breathing heavily. Despite being a god he's getting tired. The hackers are using a tactic, an attempt to overwhelm them. And he's afraid to admit it, but it's working.
He looks at Reese who's fighting next to him, the goddess is trying her best.
- "Reese!"- Doombringer shouts, getting her attention. - "Go inside HQ! Call Clockwork!!! We need reinforcements!"
- "But he's only one person!?"- Reese shouts back, looking at Doombringer with confusion .
- "He's a God. A robot with time related powers. If we can hold on until his arrival, we might have a bigger chance of survival!"- Doombringer answers, smacking one of the hackers with Banhammer, the chains appear on them and the hacker is banished.
Reese nods, attacking one last time and turning around. She runs through battlefield, about the piles of concrete from destroyed buildings. Her lungs feel like they're on fire, she's exhausted. But she cannot give up, not yet.
She runs into damaged building of the HQ, heading straight to the basement. In there they have emergency phone to contact the allies.
She picks it up, breathing heavily. Each second he isn't picking up is making her anxious. But eventually Clockwork picks up.
- "Hello!?"
- "Clock.... Clockwork.... Clock..."- She gasps out, her breathing uneven.
- "Reese breathe. Whatever is happening I'm coming."- The God of Time seems to be running.
- "Banlands... The breach... All the hackers... They want to take over... Kill us! Doom is leading the defence... He told me to call you..."- Reese quickly updates Clockwork on the situation, her hands shaking terribly.
- "WHAT!? HOW!"- Clockwork shouts. That's when Reese finally realises tears on her face. She's bleeding, covered in sweat. Her clothes destroyed.
- "Someone got the key and opened it. They have a leader. Clockwork it's hell.... If I won't make it..."- The thought makes her terrified, but she knows she can't just run away.
- "DON'T! Don't talk like that!"
- "If I won't make it... Don't blame yourself."- Reese says, but freezes up when she hears someone approaching. She turns around gasping when she realises who is standing in front of her.
A card is thrown in the direction of the phone, the Goddess of Nature quickly dodging it. The script attached to it makes the communication cut off.
- "ReeseMcBlox... It had been a while."
- "... Scripter."- Reese speaks up, her voice trembling. The person in front of her is so similar, yet so different than the teen that was working with them all those years ago.
- "Oh? So you remember me. That's good. How do you like the party I made?"- Scripter smiles, dangerous glint in his eyes.
- "Why? WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO US!!?"- The Goddess shouts, plans sprouting from under her as her powers activate.
- "You all locked me away. Because of my doing, talking about justice... Yet you own crimes are ignored."- Scripter says, hatred in his voice.
- "You didn't want to change. You didn't change!"
- "THAT'S JUST A PATHETIC EXCUSE!!!"- Scripter shouts in anger, throwing scripted card on the ground next to Reese. The gravity changing, pulling her to the ground.
The goddess struggles to breathe. Her body not used to the gravity around her. The pull is so strong she's unable to get up, but she doesn't give up. With a big struggle she raises her hand, leading the vines to stab through Scripter.
The Leader of Hackers shouts out in pain, he summons his sword and slashes through the vines, when it doesn't work he summons a fire script, burning away the plants. He walks over to Reese, suddenly changing the gravity, making her fly up.
He charges at her, grabbing her by the throat and with another gravity change smacking her into the ground.
The goddess gasps, blood filling her mouth. She's tired and Scripter is not. He has an advantage, she's unable to fight back. But she tries anyway.
Her fingertips glow green, the plants beginning to grow. That's when Scripter steps on her hand, the gravity making it more strong, it cracks and the goddess screams in pain.
- "Goodbye Reese. It all could've ended differently if you made different choices."- Scripter says coldly, he lets go of her neck. Rising up the sword he piercing right through her heart.
- "I could've left you to to bleed out. Be thankful I chose faster death."- God of Scripts says with hate, walking out of the HQ basement, leaving a body behind him.
- "JANE!!!"- That's the least thing the widow hears before loosing consciousness. When she wakes up next she's next to a pile of rubble, tasting blood. Her hand is being tightly held.
The woman slowly looks around, the world slightly spinning. That's when she notices purple spot in front of her. It's it moving, but everything is too blurry.
After a few minutes everything clears out. The hearing and sight return to Jane. But so does pain. The woman lets out a pained groan, that's when the movement appears again.
- "Oh my Telamon. Jane. Thank the Core you're alright!"- BrightEyes whisper shouts. Her face is full of relief.
- "Wha' happen'"- Jane asks, her words mixing together.
- "You got hit in the head dear. I was terrified you died. But I was able to hide us both. I was so happy seeing that you're still alive."- The goddess says. She made a makeshift bandage using her scarf.
There's a loud explosion in the distance, it makes both womens jump. Jane subconsciously grabbing BrightEyes. The hackers are coming closer, soon they will find them. The goddess looks at the woman she watched grew up. She cannot let her die.
- "Jane. I need you to hide under the rubble, do not come out until it's quiet. And even then count to two thousand."
- "Bright... No..."- Jane whispers, tears in her eyes.
- "I'm sorry dear. I'm so sorry... But if only one of us has to survive. I want it to be you."- Goddess of Art speaks softly, in this moment she sees Jane as a kid she used to be.
- "No... Please..."- Jane begs, holding onto the goddess. Both of them are crying.
- "I'm so sorry dear... I'm so sorry... But I already failed two kids. I already failed John... I already failed 1x1x1x1.... I cannot loose you and Luke too."- BrightEyes whispers, hugging the tester.
After that the goddess helps Jane hide. The hacker being even closer. BrightEyes lets go of Jane's hand, tears falling down her face.
- "Goodbye Jane. It was a pleasure to know you... To watch you grow..."
The goddess then runs away. Attaching the nearest hacker. Leading them away from the place Jane is hiding.
She succeeds, but she pays with her life. The blood loss weakens her, the hackers take another life.
Slash. Block. Attack. Dodge. Hit someone. Get hit. Repeat.
This is what Stoecker is going through. He's so tired, barley holding on. Being made out of material is not helping. His whole body has rips, the plush came out.
Despite being made out of plush he's also bleeding. The red liquid staining the material.
He's dizzy. His attacks start to miss more. Each fast movement makes him rip the material more. Makes him bleed more... His knees give up, he falls on the ground.
- "STOECKER!!!"- Sorcus shouts, slicing through the hackers, buying himself some time. He runs over to the God of Electricity.
- "Sor..... Sorcus... I'm... I'm dying... I'm dying... I'm dying..."- Stoecker says with panic.
- "Don't SAY THAT! You hear me!!! You'll be okay!!!"- Sorcus holds the God of Electricity. Placing his head on his own knees.
- "...I-I.... Sorcus.... You... You know better..."
- "NO! I REFUSE! I CONTROL DEATH! I'M NOT LETTING YOU DIE!!!"- Sorcus shouts, pain clear in his voice.
- "I'm.... sorry...."- Stoecker whispers, his eyes getting dazed. A soft smile appearing on his face as his brain is replaying his life.
Sorcus knows it's too late. He knows he lost his friend. He, a god of death was too weak to stop this from happening. For the first time in his life The Grim Reaper curses his powers, the fact he's unable to stop death from happening.
But he can do something else. A ritual circle glows under the two. Sorcus is sending Stoecker to the eternal rest. Making sure he will find peace. For the first time in his life Sorcus cries.
Doombringer is leaning on the Banhammer. He's exhausted and badly injured. He lost count of how long they were fighting, his mind went numb to the pain.
Before his purpose was to protect Robloxia, while now he's still trying, he has another purpose. Protect Stickmasterluke.
The youngest of the gods got shot while fighting in the air. He fell down in an unfortunate way, breaking his right wing. The scream that followed is still ringing in Doombringer's ears.
He remembers hugging closely the hybrid, as the youngest screams in pain every time his wing got moved.
Stickmasterluke was always a calm and quieter god. While he felt comfortable talking with the admins, he enjoyed staying silent too. It was the first time Doombringer heard him scream like that and it continues to break his heart.
Reese didn't return. He cannot contact her. There's a high chance that something bad happened to her. He has no idea if Clockwork is coming or not. He cannot contact others.
He stares at the seemingly neverending army of the hackers, basically all of the people that got banned over the years. He glances at the kid young god, his broken wing is dragging behind him. He continues to fight despite the injuries and pain, he might bleed out in a while.
- "Luke. Luke you need to get out of here."- Doombringer shouts, the hackers are coming closer.
- "W-what?"
- "LUKE RUN!!!"- Doombringer shouts even louder. He wants the kid to run away, to get to safety.
- "W-What about yo-"
- "NOW!!!"- Doombringer yells. It scares Stickmasterluke, he never heard Doombringer shout like that.
At first Luke takes hesitant steps back, before they turn into a run. The Got of Weather runs away, hiding inside a destroyed building, making sure he's hidden. He glances outside, making sure that Doombringer is alright.
The worst decision he ever made. Right in front of his eyes a hackers attack the God of Destruction. There's so many of them, there's so much blood and then explosion. Only blood is left behind, blood and Banhammer laying on the side.
Luke throws up, the memory replying in his mind. Doombringer is gone . He's gone. He's gone. Why he has to be so weak, why couldn't he help more.
The God of Weather starts to run. He doesn't want to be the next one. His broken wing is dragging behind him, but he pushes through the pain. Adrenaline is filling his body.
After a long while of running Luke it tried. Terribly tired. He is covered in blood, he is in pain. He just wants to rest for a while. The red sky is terrifying him. He hates red.
The admin finds a wall, sitting down and leaning on it. A bit of rest wouldn't hurt him, right?
His eyes get tired, it's gets harder to keep them open for longer periods of time. He feels cold, in hopes of bringing himself some comfort he covers himself with his functional wing.
His throat closed off, making him go mute no matter how hard he tries to talk. It has been happening in past, a part of him he never was able to get rid off.
Why is it so cold?
Luke shivers, hugging himself. He's feeling really tired. He doesn't want to die.
Stickmasterluke looks up, staring at the sky. Now more lying than sitting up. He thinks about his family. He thinks about those that are probably dead by now.
'Builder.... Shed.... Duss.... I don't want to die... Please... Come back...' The young god cries, wishing for his missing friends to return. He wants to hug them, to laugh together.
Suddenly he feels relaxed. Nothing is bringing him pain anymore. Stickmasterluke smiles, letting out a laugh. He doesn't realise when it all goes black.
Scripter is walking through battlefield when he notices one of the admins laying on the ground. He stops, stares and then walks over. He checks the pulse, his face expressionless when he finds none.
He looks at Stickmasterluke, his brows burrowing. The god was only a child when he got banned. He had no word in Scripter's punishment. If he was still alive Scripter would help him. This young god is not the one to blame for Scripter's fate.
- "Rest in peace Stickmasterluke. You were a crazy little sapling. A shame you died so young."- Scripter says, taking off his jacket and covering the body with it. Then he walks away.
Sorcus walks with determination. He has nothing else too loose anymore. He hates feeling of the death. If he's dying he will die on his own terms, damaging whatever army hackers have.
He notices a figure in the distance. The Grimm Reaper summons his spear, ready to attack, but he stops when he realises it's Roblox.
- "Roblox... It's you.... Why do you have... Banhammer?"- Sorcus asks.
- "Doombringer perished..."- Roblox says with emotionless voice.
- "Oh... Stoecker too."- Sorcus looks at the android, noticing how he's leaking weird blue liquid. Equivalent of the blood.
- "We need to finish it. Once and for all"- Roblox speaks his hand tightening on the Banhammer.
- "How do you want to do it?"
- "I am like my creator. My job is to protect Robloxia. I will do it just like he did it.- Roblox says, holding the Banhammer. That's when Sorcus realises how similar he looks to Buildeman.
- "It will kill you. Your body is not made to withstand god's power."
- "I need to try."- Roblox says, his grip around the hammer getting stronger.
- "...Fine. I'll distract them for you. You focus on terminating them... Or at least most of them."
- "Understood."
- "Roblox... If it's out last time seeing each other.. you were a good kid. Buildeman would be proud."- Sorcus smiles, placing a hand on the android. Then God of Death charges into the army of hacker.
He fights with them. Not caring about his own injuries. His goal is to bring as much damage as possible.
He doesn't recognise Scripter, because he joined the admins years after the incident with the young god.
Eventually he succumbs to the injuries, falling on his back. The weapons stabbing through him. The last thing he sees is explosion of gold in the air. The God of Death smiles and he finally tastes death for himself.
Roblox is floating in the air. He was made as a replacement for Buildeman. He was made just like him. He unleashes the full power of the Banhammer, the power that is locked even for Doombringer, because the risks are too high.
The android is unsure how he was able to achieve it. After all he's not powerful like gods. But he feels a presence in his god a power that doesn't belong to him. Power that seems older than Builderman... Than the Robloxia.
With the help of the Banhammer and help of The Core Roblox is able to terminate most of the hackers in the surrounding area. Some of them are missed. He can hear the screams. He won.
But the power is frying his systems, he can feel his memories being burned out. His personality getting erased. Roblox drops the Banhammer, he's feeling like he's getting burned alive.
The android screams as he collapses, but soon after his systems shut down. Everything he knew erased. Who he was is also erased. His memories erased.
Roblox goes offline.

<Goodbye World>
Scripter curses seeing his loss. His army is gone. His energy drained. And he can feel the power going through the area. For his safety he runs away, he doesn't want to take risk by staying. He can't risk getting banned.
At least he got his revenge.
Now he only needs to find Dusekkar, Telamon or Shedletsky and Buildeman. Because he didn't see them on battlefield.

Jane crawls out of her hideout. She sees the sky being blue again. She also sees the destruction around her.
With tears in her eyes she walks through the battlefield. She prays to the 2x2 that she'll find someone still alive.
That's how the medics find her. She gets taken by them, covered in a blanket. Her injuries are being treated.
She's in shock, not registering what is going on. It was a normal day. They were supposed to have a board game hangout evening after being done with work. And now all of her friends are dead.
She hears each announcement through radio. All of them are dead, she hears being called the only survivor.
That's when she looks up and notices familiar figure walking through the destroyed land.
Jane stands up and starts running. Ignoring the shouts of the medic's about how she should rest.
- "CLOCKWORK!!!"- She screams, tears in her eyes.
- "JANE!"- The God of Time shouts back.
They meet in a hug. She's shaking and sobbing, tightly hugging the robot.
- "I've got you Jane... I've got you..."- He whispers, hugging her tightly.
Both of them wish it's just a nightmare that they will wake up from. But it doesn't happen. It's the reality. Painful reality.
Jane Doe, the only survivor of the Banlands Breach.
Clockwork, the last remaining God of the old generation.
They only have each other left.
