The Art of Pretending

Summary:

Lewis Hamilton built a fashion empire without a single ounce of support from the wealthy family that tried to force him into law. Nico Rosberg, disowned for being gay, became his secretary when the company was nothing more than a hopeful idea. Years later, they’re inseparable, professionally. Personally, Lewis refuses to see what everyone else already knows. Then Lewis’s grandmother leaves behind a will with one condition: he must marry within a year to inherit the family villa in Italy. A joke from a friend turns into an impossible question, and suddenly Nico finds himself agreeing to a marriage he’s always secretly wanted, one that is supposed to last only a year. What begins as a careful performance slowly unravels into something deeper: jealousy, desire, emotional entanglement, and a love they both refuse to name. As their world watches with fascination, Lewis and Nico must navigate the line between what is real and what was meant to be pretend.

A love story built on a contract. A year that changes everything.

It’s a long project I’ve been dreaming about for a while, and things are only going to get more dramatic, emotional and intense as the plot unfolds.
