"Are you really sure about this, 2B?"
9S voice carried a hint of worry, but 2B simply nodded back, her face betraying no expression. "I've already given you full authorization to perform this procedure. You should need no further confirmation on my part."
"I-I know," 9S stuttered out. "I'm just... Aren't you worried I'll mess up? That I might damage your systems? What if-"
"9S." 2B's voice rung out sternly, cutting off the other android's spiraling. "If I had any doubts about your abilities, I would not have allowed you to assist me so often in combat operations. Nor would Yorha have assigned me to monitor you in the first place."
9S winced at that particular reminder of the true origin of their relationship. Seeing this, 2B dialed back her tone. "I trust you on these matters. You will not fail." She paused for a moment, her face softening into a small smile. "Have faith in yourself, Nines."
A blush forming across his face, 9S shyly nodded. "A-alright then. Lie down, and we can begin."
A world of code unfurled before 9S as he accessed 2B's mind. "The first step is to keep yourself relaxed, 2B. Take a slow, deep breath, then exhale. In, and out."
2B followed his instructions, breathing in and out in an easy rhythm. However, with how stiff her whole body still was, the "relaxing" part of the process seemed to give the android difficulty. 9S pursed his lips. Some further actions on his part would be required. Now where are those data caches...
9S straightened up, making sure to keep watch over 2B's body as he tampered with her mind. "Focus on my voice, 2B. Tune everything out and just focus on that."

2B's next breath came out sharply, briefly surprised by the sudden shift in her hearing. She quickly returned to her previous pattern of slow, deep breaths. Focus on the mission. Focus on breathing and his words.
"There you go 2B," he said with a hint of playfulness. He was beginning to relax himself, getting into the zone as he quickly analyzed 2B's cached memory structure. "I know you can get caught up in trying to analyze everything. It's not good for you to stay on high alert so much, you know? Just let it drift away..."

2B felt something in her core shift. Stay focused, she mentally chided herself on reflex. Focus on the... mission.
Something about that seemed odd to her now. The mission...? What's my mission? I need to... I need to-
"Keep focusing on my voice, 2B."
Oh, that's right, 2B thought. Her shoulders finally started to loosen up. Her breaths became less rigid, drifting off their regimented rhythm but becoming much deeper in turn. Just focus on 9S. Focus on his voice...
9S let out a shaky breath of his own. Seeing 2B like this was... intoxicating, in it's own way. But he still had one more thing to do. "Alright 2B, you're almost there. Are you ready to go down?" He said softly.
2B felt herself drifting apart, every second seeming to take longer and longer with every breath she took. Her vision was glitchy, with color distortions and black pixels appearing all around the edges of her view. Her head felt as light as a feather, and she could faintly feel herself nodding to 9S.
"Good," he said breathily. "Now sleep for me."
