Yuno can remember the first time he was told the story of the sun and the moon . It was when sister lily was tired of telling the wizard king story . Sister lily had recently got a new book a new story to tell them.
{The sun and the moon give light and hope to the world.The sun was bright and bold it brought sunlight that radiates joy to the world so easily giving light to everything and everyone who was awake during the day and why wouldn't they want to be the sun was warm in ways nothing else could ever be. The moon didn't give off as much light as the sun instead of being bold or uncontrollable the moon was gentle in ways the sun never would be. Weather the moon didn't want to give out as much light as the sun or simply couldn't was unknown but the moon cold only reflect what the sun gave without the sun there would be no moon.}
"Wait do is the moon selfish or not also is the moon not jealous ofthe sun "asta interrupted sister lily "asta remember to save your questions for the end ok""ok" as soon as asta promised sister lily continued to read.
{Both the sun and the moon were protective things the sun burning anyone who dared try to hurt what or who belongs to it . While the moon would leave them in eternal darkness for the same crime. The sun was a natural leader the majority of the world adoring the sun and choosing the Sun over the moon without a second thought. Where a smaller group of people would choose yhe sun over the moon ,the moon was a follower but could easily become a leader if given the chance. }

{Over time people in history would be referred to as a sun person or a moon person. The sun people where often excitable and energetic to know end always trying to improve without fail. A trustable leader bringing hope and joy to the hopeless who easily changed people's lives. The moon people were more Quiet observant and reserved often filled with longing for someone they could not have. Protective in ways that go unnoticed . A person people who we're lost would find for safety the Moon was not cold but could never be as one as the sun is.
Sometimes the moon and sun are siblings other times friends sometimes lovers but they are always rivaling each other. In every story the moon would always be behind the sun chasing after it for eternity will the sun believed they were behind when in reality they had already finished the race and only doing extra laps but without the sun would have never had the courage to start running after a goal that was always going to be just out of reach}
Yuno remembers feeling conected to the moon in all the stories and if yuno was the moon then asta must be the sun. Asta who didn't have a single drop of magic yet still protected yuno and the other kids at the church no matter the danger . The same asta who no matter how mature in childish he acted would always be there if one of them needed be it an injury or nightmare I just wanting to be around someone who they saw someone as an older brother. Asta who was bold and bright and only wanted people to be happy,the very same asta who was going to be the next wizard king to give hope to other children Orphaned and abandoned or even with no magic that they too could be great thank you leave Mark in history.
Asta had always been the light in yuno world that without asta near was cold dark and scary asta made it better simply by existing near yuno. It was always like that according to father even when they infants or father had to do was put asta near him and he would stop crying immediately.
Yuno doesn't think asta knows how much of an effect he has on yuno always having to get stronger one of the younger children or yuno needed him or were crying he would be right over an instant happily abandoning his training to comfort them you give them a sense of hope they never knew they needed hope that despite the fact they were abandoned here they were still wanted.
No one knew who was older asta or yuno but I've asked they would both say that asta was older sister lily and father would give the same answer. Asta what's the older brother to the church kids no matter what would happen he would always try his best to protect them and do whatever he could to bring them joy he did that job well. When they both decided to aim for the title wizard king yuno didn't really care for the title but asta needed someone who would push him,Yuno just wanted to be as close as possible to asta and stay there without being a hindrance, no one was allowed to take his place as astas favourite person no one was allowed to even try. That same day asta made him promise that even though they would be rivals in the future they were still them still the same asta and yuno they had always been. Yuno had agreed easily saying the rivalry would really start when they got there grimours .yuno had known he was sa crybaby but he had potential to be strong he wanted to be strong so he started training with asta.
That was how it started even now yuno still believes asta to be the sun while yuno was his moon his point has only been proven as they got older . Asta draws out the best in people something yuno could never do. Asta had promised yuno that he would always be his favourite person in the world, yuno wanted that wanted that so bad to be his favourite persons favourite person . Now they where in different magic Knight squads they were separated for the first time in there lives and the world was getting darker and colded and scarier for yuno who was used to asta taking those things away. Yuno wanted to cry because if he cried asta would appear out of nowhere to comfort him . But he couldn't he picked a squad he would not show weakness. Joining the golden dawn gave yuno the best chance be asta rival and equal this is something he needs to do .
Asta had somehow known yuno needed him how did yuno know because asta was outside knocking on his window the first night as a magic Knight. Asta was some how at the golden dawn base in the dark of night why was here-oh its asta always knew when yuno or one of the other kids needed him weather they were sad or endanger he also always knew where there were ."what are you doing here asta.""you were sad yuno do here I am to cuddle the sadness out of you plus we're not used to not being around each other and I know that you wanna cry so come here and I promise not to tell anyone." That was so asta wasn't it of course he knew that."but if you get caught-""I won't no one is able to sense me since I don't have any mana and I'll be gone before any one can even guess I was here no one knows I'm here let's keep it that way ok."once asta got an idea in his head there was no stopping him so yuno let himself be pulled into bed by asta just wanting to be close to his sun . Asta was so many things but above all asta was his and yuno was astas in return
Yuno loved asta has always loved asta yuno just didn't know what type of Love it was but it was love none the less. The moon truly was selfish wanting to keep the sun's light all to its self. If yuno was the moon then no one but asta could be his sun. Asta was his and he was astas that's all yuno needed to know
