Chapter Text

" The miraculous are made when an conspect needs a ennoy for it's power and gained permission from a god that shared what it believe. This allows- "

"Nooro, I'm asking if there's a miraculous that can bring back the dead, not it's entire history." The young man interrupted Nooro with a groan.

He getting a bad feeling about this one.

Nooro rolled his eyes, he hatred holders like this. He didn't get as many as Tikki and Plagg but he got enough of them to have a type, of you will. His personal favorite was those who wanted change. But holders like him, they give him headaches.

He started to look around. The place looked like an old, if well kept up, attic. The window had a butterfly pattern. "Please don't be an cultist. I do not need that in this century. Not again"

"Yes, there is the cat and the ladybug. Creation and Destruction. They wouldn't come unless there's need of them. And while I'm sensing a long of magic use, that wouldnt be enough to attract them." Nooro explained to him. He internally sighed.

The young man hummed before giving him a odd smile. "What can you do again?"

Nooro finally signed. "I can empower almost anyone as long I don't mess with an another's claim."

Nooro knows where this will end. And it wouldn't be pretty. He knows Death wouldn't be happy, and that will be a problem all on it's own.

The young man looked at him before smirking. "Anyone?"

"Oh so that's what he's doing with" Nooro thought. "Villain route? Young man, I should at least warn-"

"Silence" the young man commanded. Nooro looked only to see his mouth gone. And the young dumb man gripped him in his palm.

"I am not an villain. I am only trying to get someone I love back. Until then, some measures need to taken. Understand me?"

Nooro nodded, not wanting to deal with this guy self religious man more than he has to. At than, the man let him go.

" And please, my name is Gabriel. Gabriel Agreste" At least death will get him.

" Okay, who's the wise guy who decided that my pain was needed? Eris, Loki, Old Coyote it's wasn't funny in 1888 with Maaro, it isn't funny now." He bitterly thought as he banged his head on the table. He really hoped that they defeat this guy soon because this will be a bigger pain in the hide than the aftermath that mess in 2000.

So he was officially stuck with Gabriel. Either until he was saved or he actually gets his wish and suffer those consequences. Either way, this will be an total nightmare to deal with. So here he was, in a attic, bored.

Just then, a young woman brought up a bowl of fruit and nuts.

"Greetings, I'm Nathalie. I hope your stay is comfortable. I brought you some food. We have grapes, honey and flowers"

"Okay, they can take their time."

Meanwhile in the other side of town, there was an old man in his shop. It was new newer but with a Chinese aesethic. Right now he was either being very brave or very stupid. Arguing with a god.

"We need to act now" Fu pointed out. "If the butterfly is active and in the bad hany, I must act now."

A small turtle like plushie stared at him like a toddler. "Need I remind you of your body!? You are old in human years. My gift can only stop this so long."

"All the more reason for me to get it over with so I may rest. Now Wayzz, Shell- "an audible crack was heard. Now Fu was was sitting down on his pillow.

"See, what did I tell you? I can only do so much." Wayzz warned him.

Fu could only sigh. He knows that his time is near it's end. He even welcomes it. But he did not want to pass this on. For better or worse.

Wayzz sighed. "Well there are two people who could fill in but they are out of Paris. Time for plan B."

Fu furrowed his eyebrows. "I thought we agreed that plan B was dangerous and well stupid."

" As the old saying goes beggars can't be choosers. Best to just find someone who seems the best for the job and if that fails, wouldn't set the city on fire."

Fu nodded. " I still feel bad about leaving them both alone."

Wayzz chucked, which sounded more old than he was. "Believe me, young one, there's more in this city they will not be completely alone."

Fu wanted to ask more but from the look from his face, he knew it would be a losing battle. Kwami were hard to get a grasp on even as a holder. Most are old and even the younger ones are not easy to figure out. They are embodiments of what are, almost fae like.

"Best not to mention that to them" he thought. Apparently that is a sore subject for most of them.

He got back up and when to the door. "I will still need to assist them. After all, it's only fair given it was I who started this."

The embodiment of protection huffed. "You mortals and your codes. Luckily for you, it is endearing. To a point."

"Does this mean that you will help?"

The little entity shrugged. "Might as well. Someone has to make sure you slow down,my friend."

Fu grinned as he got ready. The went through a lot with the small entity and now this. If only a very younger him could see him now. What would he think? Did he even want to know?

"So what do you say old friend, shall we find out heroes?" He asked.

Wayzz boomed with laughter. "You will never change. Fine then. Let's choose them. But as a warning. Pray for this city for I have an idea how this may end."
