All Pink

Summary:

Jimin finds himself forced to move into the college dorms, out of all the possible roommates he could have, he never imagined it would be a snake hybrid, but that's okay, Jimin can handle it, if only the hybrid wasn't so adorable... and pink.

Work Text:

Sharing a dorm in college wasn't exactly what Jimin wanted, but it's not like he had any other choice at the moment. Well... he had: living with his best friends. It seems like a good idea, like, yay, that's what college is all about, friendships. There was just one problem, his friends are a very sexually active threesome. And that's okay, who's Jimin to judge them.

Between living with three friends, having sex every day and sharing a dorm with a stranger, Jimin thought it best to choose the second option.

He couldn't afford an apartment on his own right now, and considering he'd always been the sociable type, it didn't seem so bad. After all, his future roommate would only be a stranger until they got to know each other. As long as he wasn't a sex freak who brought several people to his room to have sex, everything would be fine. At least that's what Jimin hopes.

He takes one last deep breath before finally inserting the key and opening the door.

Not a crazy guy. Not a crazy guy. Not a straight jerk because if he is, he'll probably get everyone and pick on Jimin for being... well, Jimin. Asshole straight guys are always ridiculous guys to anyone who isn't like them.

The door is open, and whoever receives him is the silence.

Jimin enters slowly. The dorm looks tidier than he imagined, to be honest. It's small, but comfortable.

Upon entering, he finds himself face to face with a small living room, a sofa against one wall, and a small TV against the other. Looking around, he notices the kitchen, almost adjacent to the living room, with the counter serving as a divider. Then comes the hallway, with two doors on the right and one on the left. Jimin sees the bathroom on the left, making it obvious that the other doors are for the bedrooms. One of them is closed, which can only mean his roommate has already arrived.

Not wanting to disturb anyone, Jimin silently heads to the available room. Like the rest of the place, the room is small, with a single bed in one corner, a wardrobe, and a desk in the other.

Okay, Jimin's plan is to just stay here to sleep, eat, and shower, the size of the space doesn't matter. Besides, it's only for the first few years, soon he'll have enough money to rent an apartment or share one with someone.

He drops his things on the floor and lies down on the bed. For Jimin, it's a bit unbelievable to be here. It's been five years since he graduated from high school, during which time he continued living with his parents in Busan and helping them in the family business, his father's coffee shop. His desire to go to college was very low, he didn't even know what major to choose, until he realized that life works best when you do what you love.

Ever since he was little, Jimin has always loved drawing, even though he wasn't very good at it, it was fun. Of all the courses he could take, design made the most sense in the end. Now, here he was, in his college dorm. Classes start tomorrow, and Jimin feels anxious, but happy to not be completely alone. His high school friends have all gone to the same college. Two years before, Jimin tries not to think about being late, they continued to keep in touch and meet up often, nothing had changed.

Things would only get better since now they can see each other more often, during their free time, even if each of them has classes in a different building, they will meet up, and it's... it's going to be cool.

Jimin grabs his phone and leaves the room. It's almost night, he should eat, shower, and get ready for tomorrow.

Knowing there's nothing in the kitchen that belongs to him, Jimin decides to leave, remembering the convenience store he saw on the way here. It's very close to campus, and the downside is that the campus is huge, and it takes almost half an hour to get there. It's okay, it's just for today, Jimin forgot to pack something to eat in his backpack, he'll stop by the grocery store tomorrow.

Walking is good for Jimin, he sees other students arriving or leaving their dorms and gets to know the campus a bit. His anxiety about the start of classes is almost forgotten amidst the beautiful scenery of the setting sun.

He arrives at the store, buys two instant ramen, a soda, and a small bag of coffee candies. Just enough to survive until tomorrow. Another half-hour walk and he arrives at the dorm, hoping to perhaps find his roommate, but when Jimin opens the door, his first reaction is to scream.

“Holy shit!! Fuck!”

There in the middle of the room, there is a small pink snake.

Jimin gets a fright. Of all the things that could happen today, a fucking snake in the middle of the dorm definitely wasn't in the cards. Before Jimin can think of what to do to get rid of it, the snake crawls into the hallway of his dorm, heading toward the rooms. Jimin enters on autopilot, closes the door, dumps his bags haphazardly on the counter, and turns on his cell phone. He should call someone, but he doesn't know any animal rescue contacts, and it's sunday night, so no one's probably working. His friends might... Jimin highly doubts they know what to do or have any contacts.

"Hi!! Sorry for the scare." Jimin freezes when he hears a voice out of nowhere. He looks up and sees one of the most handsome men he's ever seen. A bit over the top, but he's... Well. Pale skin, pink hair, that feline gaze, the delicate mouth, and the body... He looks like a porcelain doll, not the classic kind, but a more modern, chic, and very beautiful one, as if Aphrodite herself had created every detail of him. "You must be my roommate. Nice to meet you, I'm Min Yoongi."

“Park Jimin. The pleasure is mine.”

“I'm really sorry for the scare, I didn't mean to scare you, I swear!! I don't even know why I was here, I knew it would end up scaring you, I always scare everyone, I'm so sorry.”

"Hey, calm down, breathe." His roommate sounded agitated. "What kind of scare are you talking about?" Jimin didn't understand. His roommate had appeared out of nowhere, but that didn't scare Jimin enough to apologize so much. Could it be... the snake was some kind of pet? That would explain why she ran to Yoongi's room.

“Oh... You didn't realize... Okay. We're going to be roommates for the next... years, I think, so you need to know, I'm a snake hybrid. The snake you saw in the middle of the room a minute ago was me in my animal form. If you want to switch dorms, I'll understand, not everyone likes snakes. Normally, I wouldn't even tell you, or any roommate, it's just... you saw me, and damn, I'm not going to be able to hide this from someone I live with. You were bound to find out eventually, so yeah... that's it.”

Everyone knew about hybrids. It was becoming increasingly common to see them out and about, living normal lives. Many were still arrested and killed, but most lived well. There were laws for them, and people fought for their rights. One of those rights included college. So, obviously, it would be normal to find hybrid students here. Jimin just didn't expect his roommate to be one, especially a snake hybrid.

He should have known something like this could happen, literally one of his best friends, Taehyung, was a wolf hybrid. Jimin doesn't know why he was so surprised to find another hybrid here. Well, maybe it was the shock.

“Okay. I kind of like snakes. I was just scared, I didn't expect to see one in the dorm on the first day”

“Really?! Is everything really okay?”

Your roommate seems adorable. Even more so when he smiles when Jimin says everything's fine.

Jimin really likes snakes, he didn't just say it. Snakes are beautiful creatures, maybe Jimin is a little weird for thinking that, but it's true. They're just not the kind of animal you'd keep in your home.

"You're a corn snake, aren't you?" Yoongi seems shocked that Jimin knows this.

“Yeah… From the snow coral variation.”

"Cool," he walks over to the counter where he'd left his groceries. "Have you had dinner yet, Yoongi? I bought some extra ramen if you want…"

“Thank you, but I already had dinner.”

Hearing Yoongi's response, Jimin grabs just one of the ramen, prepares it, and sits on one of the high stools at the counter to eat. Yoongi sits on the other stool, keeping him company. After Jimin finishes, he tidies up, drinks some of the soda he bought, puts the coffee candies away in his room, and returns to sit on the high stool with Yoongi.

They both know the clock is ticking, they should get organized and go to sleep, tomorrow is the first day!!

However, something pulls them, aka wanting to know a little more about each other.

“What is your major?”

“Editorial Production.”

“I don't think I've ever heard of it.”

“It's like journalism, to work with books. I chose it because, well... I like books, and writing.”

"It sounds amazing," his roommate agrees with a smile. It's clear how much Yoongi enjoys the course. "Mine's design. The reason I study it is pretty obvious. I like drawing and creating things."

"It's okay to be obvious. The important thing is to do what you love" Jimin agrees.

They continue talking for a while longer about various things: where they're from, what they like to do, and rules for living together without fighting or overstepping boundaries. Which basically boils down to not touching what isn't yours, not leaving a mess around the house, and letting someone know if you're bringing someone over.

The conversation flows smoothly, as if they've known each other for much longer than they actually have. Time passes without either of them noticing.

“We should sleep.”

He says goodnight to Yoongi and heads to his room. Jimin still has to shower and pack his things, and it's already eleven o'clock.

At least now he was sure his roommate wasn't a straight jerk or a crazy person. Jimin doesn't know if Yoongi is straight, but that's something for another time.

🩷

“Jimin!!”

An automatic smile appears on his face when he sees his friends in front of the library. They had agreed to meet here after classes ended.

“So? How was the first day?”

"The course seems cool" Jimin said in that dismissive way, but his smile gave it away. How could the course not be cool if it was everything he liked?

“And the dormitory? What is it like?”

"Jungkook actually wants to know about your roommate. We can already imagine what the dorm must be like. Please don't tell me he's a straight jerk"

Jimin is amused by the look on Taehyung's face. College dorms are always known for being a mess.

“The room is okay, and I don't know if he's straight, but he's cool. He's studying editorial production.”

"So he's in communications too!" Namjoon is studying public relations, one of the social communications courses. "We have classes with the other courses, so maybe I know him."

“What's his name?”

“Oh no Tae, if I give it to you you'll stalk him.”

“I won't, I promise.”

They've known each other long enough for Jimin to know when he's telling the truth and when he's not. It's obvious he's going to stalk.

“Min Yoongi” and who is Jimin to judge him? After all, he had done the same thing this morning.

“Gay name.”

“That’s nonsense, Tae”

“I think it sounds more like a straight name, or bi.”

“Guys” being the oldest of the group, Namjoon tries to put some logic in their heads “names do not define someone's sexuality.”

"Okay. I think I found his Instagram, is that him, Ji?" Everyone approaches Taehyung when they see Jimin confirm, just to take a quick look, that never hurt anyone.

“Beautiful.”

His two boyfriends lightly hit Jungkook. Just to remind him that he dating, and their relationship is going very well, thank you.

“He's gay, for sure, look at that baby pink hair. And that's a pink snake????? Holy shit, that's cool. There's no way a straight guy could be like that.”

Jimin almost says that the snake are his roommate, but he holds back from saying it. He knows his friends well, trusts them, yet he doesn't know much about Yoongi and whether he's open with people about being a hybrid. Jimin assumes not because there's no mention of it on social media, so he leaves it alone. For now, it's better that his friends just assume the snake is a pet or some random snake Yoongi found along the way.

“He seems like a nice guy.” there's something in the way Namjoon looks at him that Jimin can't quite place.

That is until Taehyung laughed out loud, saying:

“He seems like exactly Jimin's type.”

“What? No, I d-”

"Jimin, we know you, aren't you going to tell me he's not adorable?!" Taehyung brings his phone closer, open to a picture of Yoongi smiling with a fucking gorgeous smile and his gums showing, god, he's so cute.

"If Jimin hyung were a cat, his ears would be up," the younger two high-five. Taehyung is a hybrid, and Jungkook knows enough about hybrids to say that cat hybrids prick their ears when they're interested. Jimin's friends are always joking about how much he looks like a cat, and he's not even surprised by the comment.

“Okay, enough. Are we going to stay here, or where are we going?”

“Let's go home, it's still Monday, right? We'll have to celebrate your arrival here on Friday... Do you want company back to the dorm?”

“No, I know exactly what you want to do by going there, and I have to stop at the market first, so I think I'll go with you.”

The threesome rented an apartment near the university to avoid spending money on transportation. It was even better that way, if Jimin needed them, he could just walk a few blocks off campus. Another plus point was that there was a convenience store and a supermarket that were no more than a half-hour walk away. Jimin had to go there if he didn't want to go hungry.

Inside the campus there were two restaurants and some coffee shops scattered around, and there were people in these places almost all the time.

Of course he wasn't going to go hungry, but Jimin had to buy some snacks, more instant noodles, coffee, toilet paper, etc.

🩷

The week passes quickly, and he goes out with his friends to a bar near the college to finally celebrate his arrival. The four of them drink and talk until the wee hours. Jimin hasn't felt this happy in a long time. He hasn't stopped smiling since the first sip of his drink and continued smiling when he felt the cold wind as they left the bar.

“Do you think you can get to the dorms like this?”

“Taeeeeee, I'm strong when it comes to drinking, remember?”

The threesome looks at Jimin. He can handle high alcohol levels, but walking around campus alone at this hour... Maybe it's not the best idea.

“You're coming home with us” Jungkook, the drunkest among them, grabs Jimin and walks hugging him, almost forcing him to go to their house.

Jimin is tired so he accepts, his friends' house is close and the dorms seem so, so far away in this early morning darkness.

The couch in their house is so comfortable that Jimin is starting to consider sleeping there more often.. He wakes up to the smell of red fruit tea, Jimin always found it amusing that unlike most college students, Namjoon convinced his boyfriends not to give in to that kind of thing and here Jimin was now, sitting at the table with them, drinking tea, at breakfast.

The tea is at least good, and in a darker shade of pink that almost reminds Jimin of a certain roommate that seems to like pink.

"Do you remember yesterday when that guy showed up, spilled a drink on the other guy, said something, and left?" Everyone murmurs yes to Namjoon. "From what I heard from the group, they were making out in secret, and then the one who threw the drink on the other guy was angry because the other guy was a huge jerk."

“At least the other one pretends to be straight, that's why he hid the relationship” Jimin supposes and the others quickly agree.

“How can this keep happening, we're in 2025, in a college.”

“There will always be curious straight people, what can you do?”

Once again, they find themselves forced to agree, even though being part of the community is becoming more common, many things still remain the same as before.

“Speaking of straight… How’s your “I don’t know if he’s straight” going, Jimin?”

“Why do you want to know, Jungo? Isn't having two boyfriends enough?”

“What?! No, I didn't mean that” the youngest's eyes widen, he looks at his boyfriends desperately “Hyungs I-”

“It's okay, come here.”

Jungkook gets up from the chair he was in and sits on Namjoon's lap, feeling his arms around his waist, while Taehyung holds his hand.

“Jimin just wanted to make fun of you. We know you don't want anyone else but us.”

"Yeah. First, fuck you, Jimin," Taehyung says, but Jimin can see a smile on his face. It was fun to see his boyfriend like that for a moment. "Second, we're all curious. Now that more time has passed, have you figured out if it's going to be a pain and you're going to try to change dorms, or if you can live with it?"

“We can live with him. He's nice, no sign of being a son of a bitch or straight.”

“Not bad.”

After that, they followed with breakfast and suddenly Jimin remembered exactly why he shouldn't live or sleep at their house. Jungkook took advantage of the fact that he was in Namjoon's lap and started kissing him, and it would have been fine. Jimin is used to seeing them kiss if that was all it was, the problem is that it's never just that. He noticed the exact moment their kiss became more intense.

“How disgusting. I'm still here.”

“That's because you scared our boyfriend before.”

“You're ridiculous, Tae.”

🩷

When he returns to the dorm, Yoongi is sitting on one of the high bench stools staring into space and drinking coffee from a pink cup.

Yoongi being a pink snake and having pink hair is not an indication that he likes the color, it's just i was born this way and it's okay. Now, having a pink cup, preferring to use that cup over any other, definitely means something.

“Sorry, I have to ask. Is your favorite color pink?”

“Maybe” his smile is definitely a yes.

Before coming, Jimin imagined everything about his roommate, that he could be a jerk, an introvert who would never leave his room, an idiot who would play loud music at the worst times, straight, a narcissist who would fill the dorm with mirrors and judge Jimin's appearance every day, or someone who would judge everything about Jimin without being narcissistic, someone who would steal Jimin's things – they say it's quite common in shared dorms –, a plant addict who would turn the room into a forest, a fake shaman because most shamans are fake, or simply someone easy to get along with who would be there living his life as if Jimin weren't there, one or two interactions and that was it.

Contrary to all of this, Yoongi was… adorable.

In the most literal sense of the word, like everyone loves him. Yoongi is kind, cute, and fucking gorgeous. So what if they've only known each other for a week and Jimin barely knows anything about him? It's been enough time to see how cool he is.

“Have you had coffee?”

“Kind of, I ended up sleeping at some friends' house yesterday, and they prefer tea to coffee, can you believe it?”

"And they're college students?" Jimin nods, sitting on a bench across from the other. "Wow, miracles do happen… Was the tea good at least?"

“Yeah” reminded me of you “It had a pink color, not your shade, but pink.”

“Cool. So you think this shade of pink is mine?”

“It should be, it seems to have been made for you.”

“Made for me…” he repeated, in a drawn-out whisper, as if he were savoring the words.

Yoongi finishes his coffee with the human, and a pleasant silence envelops them for a while. Jimin doesn't quite know what to say after half-admitting that the pink one is his. It might seem like nothing, but admitting that something reminded him of Yoongi was, in a way, acknowledging that he'd been thinking about him. Even if it was something silly and obvious, like the color of his hair and skin in snake form.

"Did you know my eye is also pink? Snakes of my variation usually have red, orange, or black eyes, mine is a dark pink. I also have it in my hybrid form, but it would be too strange for society, so I hide it like the rest of my features."

One week, they had known each other for a week, and Yoongi was telling things that he usually keeps secret or only tells to his friends, since most people would think he is disgusting. All this because Jimin met him in animal form, and because Yoongi has a crazy snake sixth sense that feels how trustworthy Jimin is, he seems to really like snakes, he even knew what species Yoongi was just by looking at him for a few seconds!! Yoongi then assumes that it might be cool for Jimin to know more about him, well, if the human didn't want to he wouldn't seem so delighted with what Yoongi said.

“How amazing, I can see..?” the words escape him before Jimin realizes. Yoongi smiles a little shyly, no one had order to see before, your friends have already seen it a few times, but not because they asked.

“Ok” Yoongi got up and went to his room, Jimin didn't understand at first, until Yoongi returned showing a pink kitty contact lens case “did you know that almost all snake hybrids are nearsighted? Since most also have unusual eyes, we use human-colored contact lenses.”

Yoongi places the case on the counter next to the sink, washes his hands, and stands with his back to Jimin as he removes the contacts and places them in the case. The hybrid takes a deep breath, trying to calm his anxiety, and then turns to Jimin. Due to his nearsightedness, he moves closer to see the younger man's reaction.

Beautiful… Your eyes are beautiful” people talk a lot about snake charmers, and forget how much snakes are human charmers, Jimin has never felt so enchanted by something, or rather, somebody

Yoongi's pink eyes were much more than beautiful, they were… dangerous.

Dangerous to fall in love.

Yoongi smiled and Jimin swears he saw his eyes glow an even more intense pink.

The color pink didn't seem to be made for him. Pink is his.

🩷

As the days went by, this continued to be confirmed.

Jimin could no longer see something pink without remembering his handsome roommate, especially since Yoongi was no help at all.

Besides the pink cup he uses every time he drinks coffee, Yoongi had others, lots of, things of the same color.

Clothes in various shades of pink. Not that Yoongi wore the entire outfit pink, he wasn't overdone, just... a few items every now and then. Yoongi's phone was light pink. The glasses he wore around the dorm when he was tired of them had a small pink detail.

The backpack he used for class had a pink bunny keychain hanging from it. Headphones? Actually, this one was black, with a pink star sticker.

Of all these pink things, Jimin's favorite was the pink mid-top converse.

Jimin found it amusing. The sneakers were one of the main differences in their style. While they seemed to share a taste for loose-fitting clothes in shades of black, gray, and white, with the occasional pop of color, their footwear was almost the opposite. Yoongi wore his pink converse sneakers, and Jimin always wore black combat boots or boots with small heels.

Not to mention how adorable Yoongi looked wearing those converse. Pink was truly and absolutely his color.

No one could deny that.

If he wanted to deny it, he should call Park Jimin. He could spend hours talking about why pink only belongs to his roommate.

Jimin is so lost in thought, drawing pink snakes in his notebook, that he barely hears the lecture until he suddenly hears his classmates getting up and gathering around. The guy sitting in front of Jimin turns around.

“Do you want to do the work with me?”

"Of course. I just didn't quite understand what I was supposed to do." He hadn't even heard that they were going to do a project. Luckily, this colleague seemed happy to explain.

The rest of the class passed quickly, with the professor leaving time for them to talk about the project. It was simple: choose a topic related to the course and what they were studying, make some slides, and present it. The professor wanted to leave more time since it was the first semester for most of them.

When class ended, the two left the building together. Jimin hadn't made any friends in that subject, but it seemed that was about to change.

“Give me your contact so we can talk about the project” Jimin types his number on the other's cell phone “by the way, my name is Jung Hoseok, and yours…?”

“Park Jimin.”

They both find it funny that they forgot to ask each other's names before.

"Where are you going now, Jimin?" They were walking together across campus after class, so it made sense to ask to see where they were going to part ways.

“For the dorms, I live here.”

“Wow, I'm going there too. I don't live here, but I'm going to see a friend.”

Knowing this, they continue walking together and talking about various topics other than project. Hoseok is a nice, lively guy. Jimin discovers he's studying advertising in his third semester, and who is doing this subject late, that's why they only do this one together.

“I can't believe you live in the same block as my friend” they laugh as they enter the block together, climb the stairs together, walk down the same hallway together and then Jimin stops in front of his door to get the key from his backpack “no fucking way.”

“What?” Jimin laughs confused, opening the door “are you going to tell me your friend lives here?”

Hoseok suppresses a smile as Jimin looks at him in disbelief. Coincidences like that just don't happen, right?

“Hobi!”

The hybrid hugs Hoseok, and the three of them enter the dorm. Jimin closes the door, still in disbelief. His first friend in college is his roommate's friend.

“So this is your new roommate, Yoongi?”

“Yeah. What are you guys looking at like that?”

“We just came from the same class. We have web design together, you would be in this class too if you were late.”

“I don't believe it.”

“Believe me” Hoseok sits on the couch and Yoongi does the same.

Jimin doesn't quite know what to do. They've clearly been friends for a while, and if Hoseok came here, it was to talk to Yoongi. Maybe Jimin should go to his room. Before he can do anything, Yoongi calls him over.

“Jimin, have lunch with us, I cooked.”

“If it's not a problem…”

“Of course not” Yoongi gets up and goes to the kitchen, Hoseok follows him to help him set the table, and Jimin runs to the bedroom to drop his things.

While Jimin isn't in the room with them, Hoseok approaches the hybrid and whispers in his ear.

“He knows?” he didn't need more than that for Yoongi to understand what he was talking about.

“He knows.”

“Hm. That explains why he was drawing snakes with a pink pen in the middle of class.”

“He was what?!”

Yoongi forgets he's supposed to be whispering, and Jimin appears just in time.

"Yeah, they said he was high," Hoseok says, ignoring the hybrid's flushed face and a confused Jimin. "But he's a little crazy naturally, so let me tell you, those performing arts people are all crazy. See, Jimin? Don't get involved with them, it seems like they caught some performing artists doing inappropriate things in the middle of campus again."

“Again?”

“Uh-huh. Again!”

There's so much gossip going around this university that Yoongi can't tell if what he just said is just fabrication or real. Well, it doesn't matter. The three of them sit on the high stools at the counter and eat lunch together. Jimin nearly goes crazy with how well the hybrid cooks, he hopes Yoongi cooks more often.

🩷

This time Jimin is drawing in the library, not in class.

“Jimin.”

The voice is so whispered because they're in the library that Jimin almost doesn't hear Jungkook.

“What?” he whispers back.

“Tae and Joon are coming here, we wanted to go see your dorm.”

“I know what you want to see. It's not going to happen.”

“But don't you have to stop by and get ready for our out tonight? Then we'll go with you, we'll wait for you, and you won't have to go alone afterwards.”

Jimin pauses and thinks for a moment. It makes sense. He really hated going out alone on campus in the dark of night, even if it was to meet up with friends.

“You and your boyfriends are ridiculous.”

“You love us.”

They leave the library and meet up with the others halfway to the dorms. Jimin doesn't understand why he agreed to this, his friends were a little obsessed with meeting his roommate, just because Jimin let slip how much he thinks he's beautiful and whatever.

As he opens the door, Jimin is hit by an almost déjà vu feeling. The difference is that déjà vu is the sensation of having seen something before that hasn't happened before. That definitely happened before. However, his friends weren't there that time, and speaking of which, Jimin didn't tell them about it, that's why they scream in fright when they see a small, pink snake on the dorm's sofa.

“Calm down, everyone. It's okay. It's Yoongi's.”

Months passed and living with his roommate only brought them closer, but he still didn't know if he could tell his friends about Yoongi being a hybrid.

Yoongi – in snake form – gets off the couch and crawls back into the room, disappearing from the others' sight.

“Damn, I remember her. There's a picture of that snake on his Instagram.”

“Okay. This is the dormitory. Satisfied? Come see my room” they follow him. The room barely fits the four of them “Wait here.”

His relationship with his roommate was so good, they were practically friends now. Jimin knocked lightly on his bedroom door and heard Yoongi's voice telling him he could come in. Yoongi's room was like his, a little bigger and pinker.

“Sorry about my friends. I forgot to tell them about…”

“It's okay” Yoongi's smile is so beautiful “Everyone gets scared of snakes. I shouldn't walk around the dorm like that.”

“The dormitory is yours too, and you deserve to be free to be who you are.”

Jimin doesn't know what came over him, maybe it was Yoongi's bright eyes or his smile or his adorable demeanor. Jimin just wants him to know that he should be himself.

“Yes. I think so.”

Their eyes meet, those pink eyes without the lenses are mesmerizing, Jimin almost gets lost in them, if it weren't for one of his friends calling him.

Jimin goes back to his room.

“What was it?”

“Are we going out or are you going to flirt with your roommate?”

“I don't- Fuck” he hears his friends laughing, while choosing an outfit “Can you guys wait in the living room?”

They leave, leaving Jimin alone to get dressed. Jimin usually takes a while, but since it's just another normal outing with his friends at the bar near the college, and they're waiting him in the living room, Jimin tries to do it quickly this time. Choosing an all-black look: a black shirt, a black leather jacket, black skinny pants, and black heeled combat boots with dangling chains. To finish, he does a quick makeup look with black eyeliner, a silver line on the lower part, a little smoky eye, and that's it.

Jimin leaves the room and finds his friends and roommate on the couch, talking animatedly, as if they hadn't just met.

The conversations cease when Jimin appears.

“Ready? Let's go.”

The threesome gets up from the couch and says goodbye to Yoongi, laughing at something Jimin doesn't understand. At least not until they're walking away from the dorm.

“Did you really not notice the way he looked at you, Jimin??!”

“No?!”

“It looked like he was going to eat you! In the middle of the room, without caring if anyone was watching.”

“He doesn't-”

“For God's sake, Jimin!! Don't say he doesn't look at you like that. That it's our imagination. Because it's not. That roommate of yours may not have a crush on you, but he does find you attractive.”

“It will be?”

Jimin's friends look at him like they're going to kill him for not believing the obvious.

Thinking back, Jimin remembers looking at Yoongi and catching the way his mouth opened a little when he saw him all dressed up, the way he looked him up and down with those enchanting eyes, and most importantly, the almost imperceptible way Yoongi's forked tongue slid out for a split second, tasting the air around him, exactly like a snake does when it identifies something that interests it, something that wish. It was so fast that Jimin almost thought he had imagined it, but the shiver on the back of his neck said otherwise.

Maybe, just maybe. Your friends were right.

Who was he kidding? He also found Yoongi attractive, and adorable.

🩷

Their drinking outing doesn't last until the wee hours like last time. Jungkook has an appointment tomorrow morning, and neither of them wants to upset the younger man. It's a little after eleven when Jimin arrives at the dorms. Yoongi is in the living room watching some recently popular Brazilian comedy series, something called Slaps and Kisses.

“What's up? Did something happen? I didn't think you'd be back so soon.”

“Jungkook has a course event to go to tomorrow, so we won't even drink much.”

"Hmm" Yoongi moves to the corner of the couch, leaving more space for the other. "Do you want to watch the show with me? Or we can watch something else, if you want."

“It could be this series."

Jimin sits on the couch. From what he sees, it looks like the episode is just beginning. Yoongi explains a few things about the series when Jimin doesn't understand.

They watch a few episodes together, until Yoongi almost falls asleep on the couch, and they both decide to go to their separate rooms. Jimin enjoys these moments with Yoongi, they're rare, but they happen more often than you'd expect between guys who just share a dorm.

🩷

Unfortunately, college isn't all about making friends and crushing on your roommate.

Jimin and Hoseok meet after the last class of the day in one of the library's study rooms to talk about their work, because they think it's better to talk in person, and considering they both study in the same building, it's easy to get together for this.

“Okay, so we're going to redesign an informative blog and talk about how design influences people's blog reading, is that it?”

“That's right, Jimin. Some informative blogs have a minimalist design and even a good one, but with the advertising thing, these blogs are becoming a mess, with so many ads that people don't use them.”

“But anyone can create a blog, I think that makes people more suspicious than bad design.”

“No. Most people don't even think about it. If someone writes a blog, the least they need to do is know what they're writing, and then the reader won't even think about it.”

"That makes sense. It's a cool topic for work." Hoseok smiles in agreement.

They continue researching and organizing the slides. Suddenly, a tall, handsome man with pointy, intense red ears that darken at the tips and a bushy tail of the same color enters their study room. Jimin watches as Hoseok gets up from his chair and hugs the fox hybrid.

“Jimin, this is my boyfriend, Seokjin.”

"So you're Yoongles' roommate?" Seokjin smiles, giving Jimin a once-over.

“Yes?! Nice to meet you.”

“Likewise.”

Seokjin sits across from them and sits there fiddling with his phone, occasionally giving his opinion on their work.

An hour later. Their work is almost finished, they just need to review it one more time to make sure everything is in order and ready.

“I sent a message to Yoon saying we were here, but he didn't even see it.”

"Typical of him" Hoseok replied to his boyfriend without taking his eyes off the slides, arranging the last details. "Are we really going to keep this color palette? I don't know if it matches."

“I think the title in pink would look nice.”

Seokjin looks at him with a raised eyebrow.

“Pink?”

“Looks like Yoongi” even though they both seem surprised by the suggestion, Hoseok quickly changes the color of the title and other elements on the slide to match better “In the projects we did together, he also always puts something in pink.”

“It's his mark.”

They agree with Seokjin.

“I didn't know you two had classes together.”

“The communications people usually have the same subjects, Jin is in Journalism, another communications course.”

“Wow, that's cool. I have a friend in communications too, he does public relations.”

“What's his name? Maybe we know him.”

“Kim Namjoon.”

“Hm” Seokjin thought for a few seconds “I know who he is, he's dating a wolf hybrid, right? We've worked with him a few times, he's a nice guy.”

“Jin already hit on him.”

“What?!”

“In my defense, I didn't know he was dating, and Hobi and I weren't serious yet.”

Jimin looks a little shocked. His friends never told him about this, a fox hybrid this cute hitting on one of them was definitely gossip worth sharing.

“Anyway, going back to the slides, what do you think of this tone, Jimin?”

“It's pretty, but it's too bright.”

"It's the color of his scales" Seokjin comments casually after getting up to look at the duo's slides.

“Aren't his scales lighter than that?”

“In snake form, yes… but in hybrid form, they appear to be a pinker shade.”

“I don't think there's any difference between the animal and hybrid forms, the scales are still the same.”

“I didn't even know he had them in hybrid form.”

The couple stops what they're doing and looks at Jimin, slowly realizing they might have said too much. Well... Jimin was bound to find out sooner or later, and they even assumed the younger one already knew. It's normal for hybrids to have animal-like characteristics.

“Why do you think he always wears long sleeves?”

Yeah. Now it makes sense.

The only skin Jimin could see was Yoongi's legs. Yoongi usually wears shorts around the dorm, but he always wears long-sleeved clothes, closed collars, and socks (?!), regardless of how hot it is. Could the hybrid have been hiding his scales this whole time?

Probably.

“Jimin, how about this tone? It's almost neon, I think it will be a cooler and more eye-catching contrast for the topic”

“It seems good.”

So what? The only thing Jimin can think about right now is Yoongi. His snake scales, his hybrid body. Pink scales. Damn. Is Yoongi all pink?!

🩷

Every day that passes it gets harder not to think about his hybrid roommate.

After all, they see each other every day.

In the mornings, before leaving for class, Yoongi makes coffee early, and Jimin has simply gotten used to waking up to the sound of the coffee maker. On specific days, like Tuesday and Friday, the two have lunch in the dorm together. When Jimin arrives at the end of classes for the day, Yoongi is already in some corner of the dorm, on the couch reading a book or on the counter writing on the laptop with a coffee in that pink cup next to him.

Snakes are more sociable than society imagines, and Jimin discovers this in the most casual way possible.

That is, living with one.

Very rarely, Yoongi would shift into animal form, preferring to stay in his room when he did so to avoid startling Jimin or accidentally getting stepped on. When Jimin finds out about this, he says it's okay, that he'll be careful not to hurt him.

Yoongi trusts him. He even lets Jimin touch and hold him in snake form one day, and Jimin is even more enchanted by how soft his skin is, the subtle gleam of his scales in the light, the calm way he slowly curls up in his arms.

And even though he still lacks words to describe what he feels, Jimin begins to realize that there is something there, something that grows every time the hybrid looks at him with those attentive eyes.

The semester is almost over.

Many assignments have been handed in, only the one he did with Hoseok remains, and then he will be free. For now.

Jimin gets ready excitedly, some would call him crazy, but it's the last class of the semester, it's not his fault it's on a Monday.

"What's up?!" Yoongi asks, laughing at Jimin's excitement. As always, the hybrid is standing in the kitchen drinking coffee before heading off to class.

“Last day” he reaches for the other cup on the counter with the coffee already served, Jimin can't say at what point in their coexistence Yoongi started leaving his coffee ready for them to drink together.

It just happened.

And Jimin loves it.

He even bought a cup just like Yoongi's, only in blue so they'd match. A little tacky on his part, but Jimin doesn't mind.

The day passes a little too slowly for Park's liking.

He doesn't even know why he went to morning class, he could easily have skipped it. Jimin grabs a quick lunch at one of the campus restaurants and then heads to afternoon class.

Their presentation on the blog redesign is a success. A 9.3. With that, and the end of class, Jimin's semester is over.

A few months ago, he couldn't believe he was actually here, and now a whole semester had passed. Everything that had happened during that time was still kind of unbelievable. He'd met such great people. He hadn't made many friends, but the ones he did make were incredible.

And well. His roommate was adorable.

In case Jimin hasn't said it enough.

He returns to the dorm happy, and so exhausted that Jimin thinks he could sleep for a whole week to recover all his energy.

However. All the tiredness from a second ago almost disappears from his body, when he sees Yoongi sitting on the sofa. He is so beautiful. The TV is on, but the low sound indicates he's not actually watching it.

“Do you want to eat something nice to celebrate or you already had plans?”

“It's Monday. There aren't any bars open. I don't really feel like going out either. Let's get something to eat.”

“Ok.”

While Jimin showers to wash away his tiredness, Yoongi remains on the couch, ordering food through the app for them. By this point, after a semester of sharing a dorm and many conversations, Yoongi knows the youngest well enough to know what he likes.

Not just about food. Yoongi knows many other things about Jimin. Snakes are one of the more observant and sensitive animals.

Ever since Jimin first walked in, Yoongi knew he was interesting. It smelled of fresh tangerines and a hint of coffee that the hybrid later discovered was from the coffee candies, which the youngest is addicted to.

Jimin had a bit of a reserved nature, despite being sociable. He enjoyed spending hours drawing in his free time, and at the beginning of the semester, Jimin preferred to stay in the library or go out with friends. Over time, he spent more time at home, sharing more moments with Yoongi. These moments were very much appreciated. Sometimes they were just together, each doing their own thing, other times they watched shows together, ate together, drank together, and spent hours talking.

Yoongi thought it was funny how much he enjoyed spending time with Jimin, they were supposed to be just two roommates, sharing a college dorm. Friendships here were difficult to happen. There were so many reports of people wanting to change dorms because they don't get along with the other person living there, because the other person is unbearable, because they fight too much.

Luck. It must have been luck that they ended up together.

Or who knows, destiny.

The two match both. Jimin likes snakes, Yoongi is a snake hybrid. Jimin draws, Yoongi writes, Jimin likes sweet coffee, Yoongi prefers bitter. Jimin wears heavy combat boots that clatter on the dorm floor, Yoongi walks around in worn pink Converse sneakers that are barely audible, and, in some strange way, even their differences seem to fit together.

Whatever it is – luck or fate – Yoongi is happy to have met Jimin.

They put on some new movie to watch over dinner. The hours pass, they take a break to tidy up and take out the trash, and then return to the couch with a bottle of soju and two small glasses.

“Do you want to watch another movie? Or listen to music and talk?”

“Listen to music and talk.”

Soon, a soothing playlist begins to play, filled with soft vocals and calm instrumentals. He turns toward Jimin, sitting cross-legged on the couch, and the younger does the same. Jimin fills their glasses, they toast, and begin drinking and talking.

Yoongi had his last class last Friday, so officially, the semester has come to an end for them.

“Are you going to stay here during the vacation?”

“I think so” Jimin answers him, leaning sideways on the sofa. “Maybe I'll go to Busan for a couple of days just so my parents don't get sad, and you?”

“Almost the same. The difference is that I'm going to Daegu.”

“Hmm.”

They continue chatting for a long time about anything that comes to mind, something about their course, celebrity gossip, upcoming movies, new songs from their favorite artists. The bottle of soju quickly runs out, and Yoongi gets up to get another. The conversation continues, without even bothering to check the time. Another bottle is opened. Jimin feels light, tired, but he definitely doesn't want to end the night now, not with Yoongi, all cute and smiling with his gums showing, at something he said.

The youngest watches him smiling. Every detail about Yoongi makes him cute, adorable, beautiful, perfect and pink. This reminds him of something the hybrid's friends told him that time he met Seokjin.

Yoongi has scales in hybrid form.

With so much going on during the semester, classes, tests, seminars, assignments, activities, content and more content, Jimin ended up leaving that thought aside a little, even though he still thought a lot about his roommate.

Suddenly, it comes back with a vengeance. Yoongi is so close to him, wearing long clothes as always, light but long clothes.

‘Why do you think he always wears long sleeves?’

The scales are pink.

Equal in animal form.

Pink scales.

Pink.

Again.

Can I ask you something?”

Yoongi looks at him intently, trying to decipher what's going on in the younger man's head. Isn't that already a question? Maybe the alcohol messed with him.

“Yeah.”

"Aren't your eyes the only hybrid trait you have?" He still had some conscience about not revealing that Yoongi's own friends had let slip something that might be his secret.

“No. I also have… the forked tongue you might have seen, and parts of my body have… snake scales.”

He knew this, but hearing it from Yoongi was something else. Yoongi was trusting him to tell him intimate things about himself, things only his closest friends knew.

“Are your scales the same as the ones you have in animal form or… do they adapt to your skin color?”

“Well… I wouldn’t say they fit together, but they fit together so well that it’s hard to say.”

Jimin is increasingly enchanted. Yoongi gets up from the couch, takes the cup from the younger's hand, and carries both cups to the kitchen, along with the third empty soju bottle. He sits back down on the couch and seems hesitant, looking around, avoiding Jimin's eyes, until…

“Want to see..?!”

Fireworks explode inside Jimin, and his eyes shine.

“If that's okay with you.”

Slowly Yoongi sits closer to the human and lifts his sleeve. The scales there are as pale as his skin, and beautiful.”

You can touch if you want” Both of their hearts raced at those words, Yoongi's from the eagerness to feel the other's gentle touch, and Jimin's from the intensity of the moment, from the implicit trust in that invitation. Yoongi had let Jimin touch and hold him a few times before in snake form. However, this was different; it felt more intimate.

Jimin reaches out carefully, as if about to touch something sacred. His fingers lightly brush the scales, feeling the cool, smooth texture, the contrast with the warm skin around them.

“Are they all like this? Soft and in that tone?”

“No. Some look more like my snake form, and in a slightly darker tone, not exactly dark, something pinker than my skin, you know?!”

“I think so… They must be beautiful, like this one and like… you. Everything about you is beautiful.”

The words hang in the air like an unexpected confession, as soft as Jimin's fingertips under his skin.

“Jimin.”

The hybrid's gaze drops to Jimin's mouth for a second, and that's it. That's what Jimin needed, confirmation, to know if Yoongi felt the same way. The next second, Jimin smiles and kisses him. Just a brush of lips, just to be sure Yoongi wants it too.

He wants to.

Yoongi holds the younger close and kisses him, for real this time, asking for entry with his forked tongue. Jimin gasps against his mouth, surprised and completely surrendered. He had kissed a lot of people in his life and nothing compared to kissing Yoongi, not only because he had a forked tongue, but because it's him.

Who is Jimin trying to fool? A few months was all it took for him to fall for the snake hybrid.

Jimin deepens the kiss. His hands rest on older's waist, pulling Yoongi onto his lap. Without thinking, he slides a little into the shirt and feels the different texture. Yoongi pulls away, startled.

“Sorry, hyung, I'm sorry, I…”

"Hey... It's okay. It just scared me a little. It's been a while" Yoongi takes a deep breath, trying to regain control of his body, his eyes fixed on Jimin's "it's been a while since anyone touched me here."

Snakes are sensitive. Jimin remembers hearing this from Yoongi once. The scales seem good for protection, but they are much more than that, they feel all.

Now, with his fingers lightly brushing the skin under the other's shirt, Jimin understands.

Those scales weren't just part of Yoongi's appearance. They were sensation, they were vulnerability. His every movement there was felt, perhaps more intensely than humans feel.

"Would you want to stop?" Jimin asks, his voice low, almost a whisper, his eyes fixed on the other's face, searching for any sign of discomfort.

“No” the hybrid reaches the back of Jimin's neck and plays with his hair “Just… go slowly.”

“Okay. Can I…?”

Jimin holds the hem of his shirt, Yoongi understands, hesitates a little, but trusts Jimin so he lets him take off his shirt.

Thus, Jimin can see almost all of the hybrid's hidden scales. One closer to the neck, covering the shoulder and part of the chest as well, others on the arms, like the one Jimin saw earlier, and one on the waist, which extends down where it is still covered. In some places, the scales are the color of Yoongi's skin, and in others, they are pink, just like the snake's form.

Adorable. Beautiful. He looks like a deity.

Jimin's fingers slide more carefully, exploring the contours of his scales. Every detail of Yoongi is so…

Jimin pulls him in for another kiss. The kiss is slow, they're in no rush, and besides, Yoongi asked to go slow, so that's how it's going to be. Slowly. That doesn't stop Jimin from delving deeper, eliciting sighs from the hybrid. Yoongi gently tugs at the hair at the nape of his neck and moves his hips, almost automatically, and Jimin smiles, trailing kisses down his neck and onto his scale-covered shoulder.

Yoongi's skin shivers under the touch, and a low sound escapes from the back of the hybrid's throat, something between a sigh and a moan.

“Hyung. Are you sure you want this?”

“Yes” the hybrid seems breathless, his face a little flushed and he looks even more beautiful like this, so devoted to Jimin “Let's go to my room, my bed is a little bigger than yours or the sofa.”

Without warning, the human stands up with Yoongi in his arms, who clings to his neck. Even though he knew deep down that Jimin wouldn't drop him, it still startled him.

In the bedroom, Jimin lays him down on the bed and gets on top, kissing him on the mouth, on the neck and going down his body with more kisses, on the human skin and on the scales, loving Yoongi like no other boyfriend of the hybrid did.

All of Yoongi's other boyfriends either thought he was ugly because of his snake-like features or had some weird fetish. Jimin wasn't like that. Jimin genuinely likes Yoongi, every little thing that makes him who he is.

Yoongi watches, eyes half-closed, lips parted, taking a deep breath every time Jimin passes over a more sensitive spot.

He explores every part of Yoongi's body as if it were art. A beautiful and pink art as fuck, Yoongi is all pink. Not only because of the scales, but his skin itself has pink parts, and this makes Jimin increasingly crazy to see him in full.

Jimin stops kissing him for a moment, and holds the hem of the older man's pants in a silent question.

"I'll only let you if you get rid of your clothes too," and that's what Jimin does next. He smirks, amused by the way Yoongi said it. Very slowly, teasingly, Jimin takes off his shirt, then gets rid of the rest of Yoongi's clothes and his own in one go, tossing them all in a corner of the room.

Before going back to kissing and doing other things, Jimin takes a moment to kneel on top of Yoongi, watching him. The hybrid does the same, finding Jimin very hot, any snake would love to devour it. The thing is, Yoongi isn't just any snake.

“Jimin, I know I said to go slow, but you don't have to take this long.”

“Sorry, it's just that you are so beautiful, hyung. I don't even know where to begin…” Jimin slides one of his hands down the hybrid's thighs, more scales cover the skin near the groin and almost reach Yoongi's dick, his dick has no scales, it's just pink at the tip.

Moans escape Yoongi as he feels Jimin's hand grip his erection and move so slowly, up and down.

“Fuck. Jimin, please.”

Tired of Jimin's lightness and slowness, as delicious as he is, Yoongi pushes the younger man onto the bed and onto him. Yoongi kisses him quickly. Eager for more, he quickly lowers himself, placing his face close to the younger man's cock. Without waiting a second, Yoongi licks and sucks it. Jimin moans loudly, delighting in the hybrid's forked tongue.

He grips Jimin's base with one hand and increases his pace, the scales of his wrist gently brushing against the other's sensitive skin. Jimin shudders, a shaky moan escaping his throat.

“Hyung… ah, hyung…” he whispers, his fingers tangling in Yoongi's hair “I won't be able to take it if you keep going like this.”

As quickly as he started, Yoongi stops, licking one last time from the base to the tip.

Yoongi kisses him again, and Jimin takes it as an invitation to take charge again and take care of Yoongi however he wants.

“Lubricant?”

“In the desk drawer” Jimin searches for it. When he returns, Yoongi is lying down again, smiling at him.

Jimin kneels between his thighs and runs his fingers along the scales that run up the sides of his groin, admiring them. He starts slowly, calmly, inserting one finger first, while kissing Yoongi to distract him. Yoongi squeezes his eyes shut and moans softly, one hand gripping Jimin's shoulder.

A few minutes pass, the second finger is added, then the third. Yoongi's moans grow louder, his hips moving against the touches, begging for more. When he seems ready, Jimin removes his fingers, pours some more lube on his cock, and slowly aligns himself with the hybrid's entrance.

“All good?”

"Yeah…" Yoongi pulls Jimin into a kiss at the same moment he penetrates him. Yoongi moans against the younger man's mouth, his hands gripping his shoulders, feeling the heat spread through his body as he is filled. Jimin holds tightly to his waist, his fingers lightly brushing the scales that spread there.

Jimin's movements start slowly, letting Yoongi adjust, before picking up a faster pace. Yoongi moans with each deeper thrust and clings to the younger man's shoulders, wanting to feel him even closer than they already are.

Jimin watches every reaction, every tremor, completely enchanted. Yoongi beneath him is a sight that will be etched in his memory forever. The sheen of sweat on his forehead, his eyes half-closed, his scales trembling with each thrust. Adorable...

The movements become more urgent. Jimin leans more heavily on his arms, tilting his hips more precisely, hitting just the right spot inside Yoongi.

The heat grows between them, the thrusts deeper now, more accurate.

His entire body trembling beneath the younger, Yoongi comes undone first, a loud groan ripping through the room as pleasure explodes inside him. And seeing Yoongi like this is enough to take Jimin with him. He buries his face in the other's neck, moaning as he comes inside him, their bodies pressed together, sweaty, trembling.

They stay like that for a while, just breathing, hearts racing, eyes closed. Jimin still inside Yoongi, his arms wrapped around the hybrid's body.

"Are you okay?" he asks after a few minutes, kissing Yoongi's neck.

Yoongi nods, still looking too lost in the afterglow of orgasm to use words. His eyes are half-closed, his breathing starting to return to normal, and the only thing he can do is hold Jimin tighter against him. Jimin smiles, leaving a few more kisses on Yoongi's neck and shoulder.

“You're all pink.”

“And is that bad?”

Yoongi's voice is low, still hoarse, with a thread of uncertainty behind the teasing. Even after everything, a part of him still expected rejection. It's only natural for snake hybrids to end up alone, being half-snake.

“Far from it. It makes you more adorable and beautiful than you already are.”

Yoongi lets out a short, muffled laugh. He can't believe his cute roommate likes him.

The silence that falls between them next is comfortable. Warm. And when Jimin finally starts to move to pull out of him, Yoongi hisses.

“Stay. Just a little longer.”

So he remains there, still inside him, their bodies pressed together, the sweat slowly cooling between their skin and scales. Jimin rests his face against the hybrid's neck and closes his eyes, feeling Yoongi's heart slowing.

“If I stay, I'll end up falling asleep.”

“It's okay” Yoongi replies, a sleepy smile forming on his lips “if you're uncomfortable and want to leave, that's okay too, I'll understand.”

"Actually, I think I like it," Jimin just knows Yoongi was happy to hear that. Even more so because he was honest, Jimin didn't just say it to please him. "I once read that snakes stay like that for hours, you…"

Yes” he doesn't let Jimin finish “It's one of the traits we hybrids pick up. That's why snake hybrids tend to only hang out with snake hybrids. It's harder for humans to handle being like that, it can get too clingy after a while. Our scales help keep it from being so uncomfortable, and well, humans don't have them to help.”

It makes sense.

Jimin feels his eyes growing heavy, his entire body relaxing under the older man's touch. Yoongi's hand moves slowly down his back, tracing random patterns, and soon Jimin drifts off into the world of dreams, one last thought jumbled in his head.

A name. A color. And a feeling.

Notes:

Perhaps the issue of university courses was a bit confusing. I don't know if it's the same in other countries, but in my country, journalism, advertising, editorial production, and public relations courses are part of social communication.

I don't know if that makes sense to you.

Editorial production may be better known as publishing elsewhere, but I also wanted to maintain the direct translation of what it's called in my city.
