Sleepy Troubles

Summary:

Basically you come to their room because you can't sleep and want to cuddle ^^

I'm back in the fooking building and I had to write a lil drabble.

Work Text:

In the middle of the night you sneaked into the twins' room. Belphie was sound asleep, like always, but Beel just came back from his nightly snack.

He asked you if you were hungry too, and thought that he might have eaten something that was yours from the fridge.
You said no, and even if he ate something, you wouldn't be mad. It happened a few times already, and you never really minded.

Rather than going back to your room, you asked. "Can I sleep with you guys tonight?" It felt pathetic how much that sounded like a plea rather than a casual offer.

But Beel agreed without even batting an eye.
The twins, as well as other brothers, often stayed in your room and shared your bed countless times, so it was nothing out of the ordinary for you to stay with them in turn once or twice
You two quietly lied down beside Belphie, with you in the middle of course. The avatar of sloth unconsciously latched onto you and breathed a satisfied, sleepy hum.
You and Beel chuckled quietly as you settled into even more comfortable positions, you sighed.

You really needed that.

The last few weeks were exhausting, school stuff on top of your own existential problems was a real handful. Everyone saw how under the weather you were, they tried to help, of course, and you naturally were grateful for that. But it's something you have to deal with on your own, considering that some days even you didn't know why you felt a certain way.

But now it's not time for dwelling on that
You were between two demons who cared about you a great amount. You felt comforted with Beel's head resting against yours, and grounded with Belphie's head on your chest
You loved them so much that sometimes you wanted to cry because of that.

But you won't do that, not tonight. Instead, you smiled and with a quiet "goodnight," closed your eyes, ready for sleep to claim you.
You felt a little lighter for what tomorrow may bring.
