Chapter Text

Jiang Xiaoshuai felt a little left out, truth be told. It wasn’t intentional, he knew. Wu Suowei and Guo Chengyu had history with Chi Cheng that Jiang Xiaoshuai did not. Still, it rankled him down to the depths of his animal brain. The two of them had been marked by Chi Cheng and he hadn’t; with little circular brands of ownership on their left hip, a result of cigarette burns. Jiang Xiaoshuai should have been horrified, but he wasn’t. He was extremely, woefully intrigued…

It’s not like his relationship with Chi Cheng was particularly stable, either. The two of them hadn’t really talked about this thing between them. Were they dating? Were they just sharing partners? Did Chi Cheng even like him as a person? Jiang Xiaoshuai had no idea.

It was driving him to distraction, certainly. He tapped his teddy bear pen against the tabletop of his desk,

“Um, Doctor Jiang?”

Xiaoshaui jumped, propelled out of his thoughts at speed and refocused his attention onto the patient in front of him.

Da Wei and Guo Chengyu sensed something was wrong far too quickly. They always did. They thought their telepathic communication was completely unseen by him, but it wasn’t. They were so obvious. He never mentioned anything outright, though. Let them wonder.

And anyway, he and Chi Cheng were not particularly comfortable with one another outside a sexual setting. They had a bond, of a sort, through their love of the two other men entangled with them. But, there had been animosity between the two up until the moment a drunken Xiaoshuai had climbed into Chi Cheng’s lap and started kissing him just to shut him the hell up

So no, they hadn’t talked, as such.

Except…

~

Xiaoshuai never used to dance when he went to bars or clubs. He never used to go out with friends, either. The purpose, in Jiang Xiaoshuai’s mind, of night clubs and bars was to get drunk. So, that’s what he used them for.

Drinking had never been for fun, either. It was to forget, to numb the pain of his awful memories; and his guilt.

Now, though, in the club his boyfriend held a controlling share of, with two of his friends sitting in the VIP section, Xiaoshuai felt safe. Well, mostly. His boyfriend, the only person he felt completely secure with, was on a business trip to Korea.

“I have to get you to stop moping around,” Wu Suo Wei had said. “It’s Guo Chengyu’s orders.”

Xiaoshuai had thought he had been hiding his listlessness pretty well. .

“So what do you want to do?”  Wu Suo Wei prompted.

Xiaoshuai sighed and thought for a moment,

“I want to dance and get drunk.”

Wu Suo Wei’s ‘a scheme is going well’ smile almost made Jiang Xiaoshuai punch him in the nose, but it wouldn’t have made a difference to the man anyway. He smiled ruefully as Wu Suo Wei swept him into his bedroom and made Jiang Xiaoshuai up, peppering little kisses (and one full-on makeout, which tasted like cherries) while the taller man used him as a dress-up doll.

Jiang Xiaoshuai did look hot, there was no disputing that. Ever since the beginning of the counterattack on Yue Yue and Chi Cheng, Wu Suo Wei had become more and more knowledgeable about fashion, skin care, and even make-up. He seemed to use all of  his now considerable power to doll Jiang Xiaoshuai up for the night. Even Chi Cheng took a double take. And it did help his confidence, but it also meant that strangers kept coming up to him, trying to dance with him.

After the fifth bellowed ‘I have a boyfriend’ right into someone’s ear, he was thinking about going back to the booth and giving up on his wish. That was, until, a sixth person grabbed his wrist. He went to turn around and pull away, but was pulled into the person’s chest. Xiaoshuai looked up at the assailant, totally ready and willing to step on toes and kick shins when he realized the person who had grabbed him was Chi Cheng?!

Xiaoshuai lost his footing in his surprise, but Chi Cheng just pulled Xiaoshuai into his chest again, and wrapped his arms around the younger man’s waist.

Chi Cheng leaned into Xiaoshuai’s personal space, and for just a moment, Jiang Xiaoshuai thought the taller man would kiss him. At the last moment, however, Chi Cheng diverted his path and said said into Xiaoshuai’s ear:

“Wei Wei said that you might need a knight in shining armour to beat back the dragons sniffing at your castle,”

Jiang Xiaoshuai rolled his eyes, as a pulse of disappointment that it had been Da Wei’s idea for Chi Cheng to meet him on the dance floor went through him. He then got slightly angry at himself for even being disappointed at all.

Chi Cheng pulled away to look Jiang Xiaoshuai in the eyes, the familiar smirk firmly on his lips.

Jiang Xiaoshuai leaned up into Chi Cheng’s space (trying to ignore the intoxicating smell of sandalwood, musk, and Chi Cheng) and said,

“Does that make me the damsel?”

He pulled back with a challenging smirk and waited for Chi Cheng to parse what he had just said.

Chi Cheng smirked right back, but Xiaoshuai saw his dark eyes darken even further. Chi Cheng looked away, back towards where Wu Suo Wei was presumably still sitting, nodding and shaking his head in that strange way he did when he was challenged.

He looked back at Xiaoshuai and pulled them even more firmly together, as his hands slid down the silky fabric of Xiaoshuai’s borrowed button-up (borrowed from Chi Cheng, no less) to his ass. Chi Cheng squeezed the cheeks and Xiaoshuai squeaked (very quietly that Chi Cheng probably didn’t even notice, he hoped).

Xiaoshuai wrapped his arms around Chi Cheng’s neck as the taller man leaned into his space once more,

“Only if you want.”

Xiaoshuai made a face that made it clear this wouldn’t be the worst idea he’d ever heard. Chi Cheng scoffed again and they started to dance.

That was the first time Wu Suo Wei had fucked Jiang Xiaoshuai without Guo Chengyu present, once they’d gotten back to the penthouse.

“Fuck, you two looked so good together,” Wu Suo Wei breathed into his ear.

“I couldn’t take my eyes off of you,” He groaned as he slipped fully into the tight, wet, heat of Jiang Xiaoshuai’s ass. He got so deep that Jiang Xiaoshuai’s body clenched, and his toes curled. It made Wu Suo Wei keen and go boneless against him for a moment. There was very little talking after that.
