Work Text:

Miku had no words. There she was, in her dressing room, about to marry the love of her life! Kasane Teto, the one that showed her that there could be two number 1 princesses in the world, she was standing in the Chapel, waiting for her!

Pulling her teal ponytails into a pair of twintails, miku placed a tiara of leek-green gems on her head, with her white tie draping over her dress. She imagined her to-be-wife, draped in beige gems like her favourite baguettes, her black wings poking out of the back of her suit, almost like she knew what Teto would wear.

Miku rose from her chair, brushing her hands off and readjusting her tie. She had a friend, Akita Neru, officiating the wedding, and the tech for it was incredible- vocal synths everywhere could hear the wedding! It was going to be amazing.

'Doo doo do doo... doo do do doo...'

Miku made her way down the aisle, leek bouquet in hand, looking at her dashing bride. There was her mother, Meiko, sat in a red pencil skirted dress, a glassy hairpin in her brown bob. A proud smile graced her features, jabbing at her near-asleep husband, Kaito, who's blue suit crinkled as he shuffled in his seat. As she passed them, Miku's heart began to thump to an irregular beat, as though she would melt from joy.

Arriving at the altar, Miku couldn't help feeling mesmerised by Teto's ruby eyes, her hands clasped over what would be their wedding bands! Teto also looked so incredibly happy, like she had won the vocaloid monopoly, as she gazed into Miku's turquoise eyes. She took a breath and bit her lip. The pair turned to the yellow one, so she could begin.

"Beep-Beep Beep-Be-Beep. Beep Beep Beep-Beep Beep Be-Beep Beep Be-Beep Beep Beep-Beep Be-Beep Beep Beep Beep-Beep Be-Be-Beep."

Miku nodded happily.

"Beep, Beep-Beep Beep-Be-Beep, Beep Beep Beep Beep-Beep Be-Be-Beep Be-Beep Beep Beep-Be-Beep Beep-Beep Beep?"

"I do..!"

"Beep Beep-Beep Be-Be-Beep, Beep Beep Beep Beep-Beep Beep-Be-Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep-Be-Beep Beep-Beep Beep?"

"I-"

Suddenly, the doors to the church swung wide open! Pink hair swooped around like this was the world's final dancehall, and this person the last dancer. The sound completely drowned out Teto's 'I do', as the doors crashed open, and Megurine Luka rushed in! Her eyes were angry, her hair swept over her face in rage.

"Stop everything!"

Everything turned to Luka. She was the center of it all... and Miku's ex. She ran down the hall, an acute glare at Kaito as she did so. He was the reason they broke up, but that wasn't the point! The point was, Miku was about to marry-

"She's a fraud!"

Gasps emerged from around the chapel, heads turning to talk to one another like the happiness and piece of mind had been broken. Why was she accusing Teto of being a fraud?! Luka pointed at the chimera with fury, approaching with heavy footsteps. Miku backed away towards Neru, who rolled her eyes and ushered her to the side.

"L-Luka! What are you doing here..?!"

"Miku... you know full well why she's a fraud! Why choose her over me?! She's not even a vocaloid!"

Miku's eyes widened, staring at Teto, who stumbled about, just about realising all her secrets were about to be spoken for her. She watched in terror as Miku stepped forward.

"What..?"

"She's an UTAU, Miku! Did you not realise that when she kept saying she had no money? She works for free!"

Teto shook, her birdbrain scrambling to find something to say; this jealous bitch was about to steal her love! As she watched Luka, she lunged, taking her baguette earring from her ear and pinning the woman down. Luka yelped, and Miku jumped back, terrified that she had let an UTAU get so close to her.

"Ack! See! She's violent and dangerous, like every other free-for-all UTAU out there!"

"T-Teto..! What does this... how could... you..."

Luka smirked as Miku ran off, colours of drops streaming down her face. She had fled the wedding.

Teto fell to her knees as Luka drew near, whispering in her ear:

"Now you'll never be a vocaloid."

Where had it all gone wrong? Miku sighed, cleaning up a machine at the local coffee shop. All her money... gone like monopoly. She had lost her precious Teto, her magnet, and all her life with her.

Sighing again, she picked up a pack of ground coffee, and poured it into the back of the sad machine. She had nothing left, so why would she even try anything?

*ding!*

The door to the shop jingled, signalling a customer had entered, and miku beamed her way to the front like a lazer, ready to mask up and serve the person. As she turned, a monstrous flower of panic bloomed in her chest as she laid eyes on the red hair entering the shop. Kasane Teto... her ex-fiance. Sucking in an unhappy refrain of breath, Miku turned to the counter and plastered on her minium rage smile.

"Hello there, I'm Hatsune Miku, an... ex-virtual idol. What can I get you today..?"

"... A latte."

"What kind."

"What do you mean, what kind?"

"Of milk."

Teto stood there for a moment, then a smile befitting only a daughter of evil crept across her mouth, a blink like a snake or frog in a romance accompanying it.

"Goat, because I am the goat, Miku."

"(I'll Miku Miku you bitch.)"

"What was that?"

"Nothing..!"

The blue hair blue tie bitch turned around to start making the coffee, her focus like a needle. What made this triple baka come to this specific coffee shop? Miku grumbled under her breath like it was some abstract nonsense as she frothed the milk and pressed in the coffee puck. What gave her the right to come and disturb her work, placing a regret rock in her chest?! It made Miku so angry, she couldn't help herself. Taking the cup in her hands, Miku gave a hawk tuah straight into the paper cup and used a stick to mix it in together. She would be none the wiser.

"Order for Kitsune Pearto?"

"It's Kasane Teto, Miku, you know this."

"Alright, alright, here you go... ready, steady... catch!"

Miku threw the cup across the shop, watching Teto obsoletely meet its grasp. Teto was such a bigback sometimes that it was funny watching her fail, watching her lost, one weeping session at a time. The woman scrambled out of the shop, letting Miku meltdown to the floor and take a slight nap on the rocks of the floor.

Little did she know what Teto would attempt.

On the outskirts of the Virtual City, there were some big hills. Teto stood atop them all, a regret message gripped in her hand. Miku... had left her, spat in her drink, had never in her mind done good to her. Her head spun with brain implosion energy, as she stepped further towards the edge. She was going to more more jump. Who cared? It wasn't as though she was the first sound of the future... or that she was composing the future in the first place.

Miku's phone rang loudly.

"Hello? You have reached Miku Hatsune!- if Len burnt down the school just erase or zero it, I don't care anymore. Oh, Neru?"

"Beep-Beep! Be-Beep Beep Beep-Beep-Be Be Beep!"

"Where is she then? If this is another joke I swear-"

"Beep Beep Beep-Beep!"

"Okay, okay! I'm going!"

A sprint too fast for her legs took her off, but Miku could shake it off. Despite their ex status, Miku still loved Teto, even if she was somewhat scared of her.

She made it to the hill Teto stood on, looking for an opening foe what to say. Yet, she did not have to, for Teto spoke first.

"Well, Miku, I guess this truly was My R, huh?"

"Teto... don't do this!"

"Or what?! You don't love me!"

"I DO! Luka just scared me because my family aren't too happy with UTAUs stealing our money. I don't want you to go, if you deny you don't agree and I'll leave... but I know that somewhere..."

"There's nothing more to me... so please, stop looking..."

And she jumped. Miku scrambled after the rolling girl, and managed to hook onto her wrist. Teto struggled slightly, but gave up trying and let her helper get her up. Teto had tears down her face, as did Miku, but she just sat in her arms, letting the blue one untie her red twintails.

"Got you... Teto, do you want to talk..?'

"No, why would I? And why are you all so high and mighty?"

"Because I live you! The world hasn't even started yet, so of course I love you!"

"Miku... I-I..."

"Let's just keep moving forwards, Teto.

"Yeah..."

Now that was truly... absolute cinema.
