“Let’s get this over with.” V muttered.
The female Disassembly Drone sat beside N as the two prepared to review their memories again with Uzi, who was now their administrator after Cyn’s loss of control.
Uzi settled into her chair and initiated the process.
N, V, and Uzi’s visors flickered blank as their bodies went limp.
After what felt like a while, their optics slowly brightened. As the trio regained awareness, they noticed soft glows surrounding their bodies, yellow around N and V, and purple around Uzi.
“What’s going on?” N asked, uneasy.
“I… I’m not sure.” Uzi admitted. “This has never happened before.”
“Well, whatever it is, it better not mess with our memories.” V grumbled.
They finally took in their surroundings and realized they were standing in a lab.
“I don’t remember ever being in a lab.” V murmured.
“Neither do I.” N said.
Uzi turned her head and froze, optics hollowing out.
N and V exchanged confused looks.
“Uzi? What’s wrong?” N asked.
The two Disassembly Drones followed her gaze. N and V's eyes widened.
In front of the three was an elderly human. And in front of the human was a capsule with a blue drone inside it.
"What in Robo God's name is going on?!", Uzi said.
"And who is the geezer?", asked V.
The old man began to type something. The elderly man then looked in front of him the information that appeared for on the screen from behind a large monitor.
"Now, to see what and who exactly you are.", the old man said out loud.
What came next sent Uzi, V, N, and the old man in a whirlwind of emotions.
The blue drone's schematic was presented to all of them and the drone's name was finally seen.
DLN-Infinity: Mega Man X
“Mega Man?”, The old man whispered.
Uzi, V, and N's jaws dropped. Mega Man? That Mega Man?! The legendary Blue Bomber who saved the Earth many, many years ago?
Head: Equipped with broad-range eye camera. Seems like the red gem on the drone's forehead wasn't just for show.
Ultra-sensitive voice recognition system. A voice box that let the blue drone speak.
Voice generation system made by HAYATOM Inc. HAYATOM? One of the most advanced robotics companies of 20XX? They had a hand in the creation of Mega Man X?
Chest: Equipped with accumulative energy generator. The old man made a mental note to take a look inside to see what this drone looked like from the inside.
Mirco-fusion fuel tank. Micro-fusion? What a rather advanced procedure.
Central joint-controlling system. The old man would have to test the blue drone's reflexes.
Arms: Equipped with X-buster (Mega Buster MK 17). A far more advanced buster compared to the original Mega Buster.
