"You shouldn't get caught flirting with the co-eds Mr. Hall," Al charmed, holding his textbooks to his chest as he stared up at the guest lecturer who had him against the brick wall.
"It's just talking about the lecture," Carter said back, hand going down to squeeze Al's shoulder and feeling the muscles he knew were hidden under his sweater. "I saw you were quite interested when I was talking about Roman baths."
"You would notice that, wouldn't you?" Al asked, breaking character of shy little Al Pratt as he laughed.
Carter just grinned at him and leaned in closer.
