IT HAD BEEN FOURS YEARS SINCE THE LUCK FAMILY MOVED, Kenny could not help but yearn for their presence and their warmth. Kenny let out a sigh "I wonder how and what have you been doing these past few years" he began to pondered to himself "I...really do miss you, I wish I was able to say goodbye to you at least..." Kenny knew that they were finding him, did Tweek ever told them that he was found after he went "missing"? If Tweek ever did— will you begged your parents to come back here? With the chaos and destruction that always seem to occur in South Park? If he was there at that moment, would their parents get convinced to stay at South Park? He know being worried for a child's safety is a valid option to move away but it hurts to imagine how it must have been hard for them. He tried to talk to the guys about it, but they were.... Well....
“Yea they were very reluctant on moving when their cousin is here in South Park and also you while you were gone” Stan informed to Kenny, shoving his hands onto the pockets of his coat.
This made Cartman let out a huff “Yea that piece of shit kept whining and crying saying things like “Kenny will come back! He has to come back! He always does!” God it was so annoying!” Cartman said in a mimicking way of [Name]'s voice.
Kenny felt bad about what happened to [Name], he knew that his sudden disappearance would make them panic, he was occupied between what was happening between heaven and hell to the point he got sucked into their mess which he didn't want to deal with at all.
"We got into an argument and we haven't been talking since then" Kyle said to Kenny, all while the redhead was avoiding his gaze.
This made Kenny raise his brow at his friends "Mmh mmhp mhhp mhppph mmm mhhmm mmm mhp mhhhm mpmh?" (You haven't been trying to talk to them since then?)
"Dude how are we supposed to talk them again when their parents doesn't let us talk to them! Heck they even made [Name] changed phone numbers!" Kyle excalimed "Especially their mother you know how their mother hates us for turning her baby into a "troublemaker"!"
"And we tried talking to Tweek about it but he keeps avoiding us and never ever wants to talk about [Name] at all, saying stuff that we could make things worse if we tried to talk to them" Stan explained "He probably thinks like that because of what happened back at their place....But we were planning to say sorry you know! Well... Me and Kyle, not sure about the fatass though"
"Aye! It's not our fault that they are too sensitive on everything! They're like a big fat stupid baby that can't take care of themself when Kinny isn't there to baby them!" Cartman whined as he places his hand on Kenny's shoulder "You got to understand Kinny... They really look like that you have broken up with them and its honestly pathetic and hilarious at the same time"
"Look Kenny you got to understand we can't just....handle [Name] being like that. Being happy is their thing so to see them so sad its just...." Kyle trailed off, trying to find the right words to say. "Hard to look at.... we tried to help them but it seems like its no use, they are like a blackhole that is sucking us all because of their negativity"
This made Kenny upset, [Name] was always there for them whenever they were dealing with negative emotions. They were always the ones that are willing to listen to their problems. They are the ones that help them regulate and understand their feelings.
The moment that [Name] felt so vulnerable in those moments and his friends felt like they were too much? Sure he knows that his friends were assholes but [Name] was always considered the most emotional out of all them so it can take a lot of patience with them when they are in that state of mind.
Kenny all of the sudden throw a punch at Kyle, this made Kyle let out a yelp in pain "Dude?!" Kyle yelled out "What the fuck was that for?!"
"Yea Kenny that was totally uncalled for you know?" Stan said to Kenny while he was checking to see if Kyle was okaya and all while Cartman did was laugh.
"HAHAHAHAH that's what you get Kahl! Come on Kinny hit him again!" Cartman encouraged Kenny, Kenny decided to hit Cartman instead which made him upset which is evident now that Cartman was glaring at him "Aye! Don't fucking hit me you poor- Oh I get it now you're all pissy at us because you didn't get to kiss [Name] before they left"
"Mmh mmhp mumh m muphpm mhp mphmh!" (You guys are a bunch of assholes!) Kenny exclaimed, he knew that [Name] didn't deserve to get treated like that especially after all they did to them. Kenny hated that they feel like they were just tolerating [Name] because of of their prosocial behavior. "mumhph mmh mhph um mmhphm mhmp!" (Screw you guys I'm going home!)
He did tried to talk to Tweek about it once he came back, but whenever Kenny approached the jittery blonde he would run away from him. Muttering that he doesn't want his aunt to convince his dad that he get sold as a slave and mutters an apology and reassures Kenny that [Name] does miss him deeply still whenever he visited them.
Kenny knew that [Name]'s parents doesn't really like him and friends, well mainly their mother doesn't like them and their father seems to be okay with them. Especially when their father treats Kenny as his own which he was always grateful to the man, even though the both of them can be...very unhinged at times.
"Kenny!" Stan shouted, placing his hand on Kenny's shoulder "Come on dude we need to go the bus is already here!"
Kenny just gave the noirette a nod, trailing behind Stan. With them now being on the bus, he sat down besides with Cartman at the bus. The three looked at one another noticing how Kenny seems to be so deep in thought for the last couple of days.
"Hey... Dude, are you alright?" Kyle asks "You've been out of it lately" he pointed out, Kenny wasn't so sure if he should open up about his lingering thoughts about their best friend. Where he still hopes that they would be back here, hopes that they would have a chance to play and roleplay with them, hopes to see them talk excitedly about plants, hopes to see them smile and laugh— Kenny knew for a long time, he had grown a soft spot for [Name], was it love? He wasn't too sure yet but he does know no matter how flirted with others his mind would always back to them.
Kenny just gave them a shrug which Kyle and Stan gave themselves a concerned look to one another while Cartman started to speak "Let me guess... You're thinking about [Name] again?" he guessed this made Kenny's posture stiffen, which confirms Cartman's inquiry.
"Dude....we know you miss them, we miss them too but we need to move on. Alright?" Stan said "I'm sure that's what [Name] probably wants, you know living the moment in the present"
"What makes you say that Stan? [Name] was pissed at us before they left maybe they could have changed their perspective in life. Like very very pissy that it gives bitch energy" Cartman said, which Kenny silently agrees with him at the same time. It was hard to believe that [Name] would hold grudges against people, they tend to forgive people so easily after all.... But that [Name] was from 4 years ago so Kenny wonders how much things changed happened to them.
Kenny only heard about how they have been doing by eavesdropping to Tweek's conversation with his friends and boyfriend once he came back to visit [Name]. Noting that Tweek hasn't said any too personal about their life besides the fact that they are the class representative of their class, got a job at a flower shop, doing recitals, and being part of the debate club.
It made it seem like [Name]'s life has been looking good so far ever since they moved out.
"What if they don't want to come back here?"
This made Kyle let out a huff by Cartman's statement as he would roll his eyes and crossed his arms "Hey Fatass, [Name] isn't like you that holds grudges to every person that makes you feel inferior, petty, or threatened by"
"What makes you so sure about that Kahl?" Cartman asks— with a hint of taunting in his tone "After all if anything you were the one that made [Name] upset the most when that shit happened that fucktard should have listened since I told them multiple times you are nothing but a manipulative jew dickface"
This made Kyle glared at Cartman "And I still feel bad about it okay?! I didn't mean for that shit to happened okay?!" He exclaimed "But don't forget that it's not just my fault you asshole. Its yours and Stan's too!"
"Look guys we shouldn't be talking about [Name], yea sure they could possibly change but how much changed they could have done to themselves in a span of four years?" Stan pondered to them.
"But they left without a word, without a goodbye to us Stan" Cartman reminded him "We can't be sure anymore, not like I care or anything...."
Kenny just let out a sigh as the three kept talking about how would [Name] react to seeing them again. Kenny himself wasn't so sure, it had been four years after all. When he tried prying information out from Tweek— his stupid boyfriend would get in his way to make sure that he doesn't come close to Tweek unless if Kenny orders anything from the shop other than that no personal questions about [Name]'s personal life.
As they were now at school— time passes by. It was the same routine that consists of chaos all around them. Hey, it is South Park after all. Probably most weirdest place that a person can stay on this planet earth.
Nobody commented on it, it was considered as normal even if others who don't live in this idiotic town would disagree so. Kenny didn't mind it, he just follow with the flow with whatever his life throws at him; to his friends shenanigans, being Mysterion, and even death.
He has accepted that no one would remember how many times he died, even if he has to experience one of the most painful deaths and suffered through it. Sure it was a shame, it was a bigger shame that the only one that remembers his deaths was [Name].
And now they're gone possibly never coming back, it was a shame— really.
Shoving his hands into his orange parka as he continued walking around to go to Stark's pond deciding to stay there for a bit before going back home, surprised seeing Tweek and his friends were there.
Deciding that he should joined himself into their conversation, loosening his parka slightly "Hey guys, what brings you guys here?" Kenny asked
Tweek let out a shriek as the others Craig, Clyde, Tolkien, and Jimmy were raising their brows at his sudden appearance. "What are you doing here?" Craig asks, while he wraps his arms around Tweek as a way to calm him down.
"Yea dude Tweek was about to tell us something pretty important then you decided to come and he has been wanting to tell us the whole day but doesn't want to tell us until school was over" Cylde whined "I've been curious ever since and it seems like good news too! Tweeek why can't you just say it while we're at school you know?"
"W-well because everyone is going to make a big deal out of it and—ACK! I don't really wa-wanna overwhelmed them" Tweek explained "So p-please keep it to yourselves about it!" he exclaimed.
"O-oh it-its about a p-pe-person then?" Jimmy questioned Tweek which Tweek give him a nod as a response.
This made Kenny intrigued, deciding to stay as he invite himself to sat down besides Clyde. This made Craig raises his brow "Tweek only invited us, not you dumbass so leave"
Kenny just gave Craig a cheeky grin "Come on it can't be that bad if one more person knows it, right?" This made Craig let out a groan in annoyance.
"I don't know man.... You are friends with those three and you know how noisy Cartman is. If Tweek doesn't want anybody else in school besides us I think its best for you to respect that" Tolkien says which Tweek shook his head.
"N-no its fine! He de-deserves to GAH— know a-anyways" The jittery blonde deciding to butt in the conversation, looking at Kenny "Just don't tell anyone about it, okay?"
Kenny raises his brows in curiosity, as he shrugs "Sure I guess..." He mumbled out.
"W-well [Name] is going ba-back here" Tweek informed the others "F-For thanksgiving!"
"[Name]?! Woooah I haven't seen them for so long besides the photos you show us of them, I can't wait to see them again!" Clyde says. "They're def going to stick with us!"
"That goes same for me too, they were always a ball of sunshine whenever they were around" Tolkien states with a smile.
Kenny widen his eyes in shock at this new revelation, [Name] is coming back? The one he calls his best friend? "Really?! They're coming back do you think they're staying back here?!" Kenny exclaimed in delight. This made Tweek frown at him, which made Kenny loosen up his excitement.
"No.... Only for a week..." Tweek muttered and he said something else but Kenny didn't heard him, Craig intertwined his hands with Tweek, nudging him as a way to speak up louder.
"You need to tell him about [Name], babe. There's no point of trying to hide if for so long" Craig suggests.
"Bu–" Before Tweak could make out a sentence but Craig kept on talking.
"If [Name] is staying here for awhile, they would not hesitate defending you from their parents if you told Kenny about it." Craig said, Tweek hesitate for a bit if he should Kenny or not "Babe.... You know I'll be here for you too. Every step of the way, plus it will make you feel better"
This made Tweek smile as he tighten his grip onto Craig's hand "Yea.... You're ri-right thanks Craig" before taking a deep breath "Kenny.... [Name] doesn't know that you have been found"
"What...." Kenny muttered while the others are surprised as he was.
"L-look auntie d-didn't want ACH— [Name] to know b-because sh-GAH THIS IS TOO MUCH PR-PRESSURE!" Tweek yelled out as he started to tug onto his hair, while Craig was gently pulling away Tweek's grip from his hair.
Ah... That's why... [Name]'s mom. Kenny did considered that as a possibility, the other reason is that [Name] wanted to move on from their life especially their final moments of them being here were awful based from what his other friends what went down back at their place.
"So....you got threaten by Mrs.Luck basically to not tell me and [Name] anything about each other?" Kenny questioned, this made Tweek letting out a shriek as he nod in confirmation as he yelled out an apology.
"Well at least I can surprise [Name] about it, right?" Kenny suggests with a loopey grin "I can't wait to see their reaction once they see someone as charming as me"
Before Tweek and the others give him a respond— Kenny stood up "Well see you guys later! Thanks for letting me know about this!" He elated, excited for finally being able to see his best friend once again.
Kenny turning into the opposite way to walk away from the group not before Craig stopped him.
"That's why. You, McCormick" Craig pointed at Kenny "And your assholes friends should not be with you if you want to talk to them. Trust me, it's not going to end well."
Was Craig trying to implied that [Name] did in fact have a grudge between their friends? Kenny would not want to believe it, because from what he knew about [Name] when they were young.
[Name] has a prosocial behavior towards everyone and everything, even if they were upset with someone. [Name] is the kind of person to set their feelings aside and kept on helping them.
"P-pl-please i-its n...ne...never going to e-e-end we-well wh-whenever s-so-someone is ta-tagged a-along with t-them" Jimmy says.
"How would you know?" Kenny asks incredulously "[Name] isn't that kind of person"
"Because the [Name] that you knew was from four years ago. I have seen their current self because I visited at their home town with Tweek during sembreak" Craig retorted "Trust me when they feel bitter towards someone, they really mean it."
Kenny felt a little envious that Craig got a chance for being able to meet [Name] but he guessed it was one of the perks of dating Tweek after all. "Alright.... I'll take your word for it but they aren't pissed at me, right...?" Kenny asks as he looked at Tweek.
Tweek immediately shook his head "H-heavens — ACK no! I feel like t-they could ne-never get upset with you!" he states as an attempt to reassure him.
"Well that's all I need to know and thanks for letting me know this" Kenny said as he walked away from the group. While it did not show— he was getting nervous on meeting [Name] because of what Craig told him but at least he gets to meet them again after all these years and he plans to ensure that [Name] is happy throughout the whole week of their stay.
