ZOLU: Telltale ears

Summary:

Transfer student Luffy have really sensitive ears… it piqued Zoro’s interest.
A little high school setting where Luffy is extremely clingy to Zoro. And Zoro starts falling mad obsessed.

“Because lately, Luffy clinging to him didn’t bother him the way it used to.
If anything, he’d started to notice when the space felt too empty.”

Chapter Text

Luffy had been nothing but a walking chaos storm since the school year started.

Zoro had hoped for a peaceful backseat in the classroom—somewhere to nap through homeroom without interruption. But peace was apparently allergic to Monkey D. Luffy, the loud new transfer who sat beside him and made it his daily mission to blow past every rule of personal space.

Zoro wasn’t sure why Luffy talked to him so much. Maybe because he was quiet. Maybe because he didn’t tell him to shut up properly. Or maybe because Luffy had no concept of boundaries. Still, something about his energy was… magnetic. Stupidly magnetic.

“Yo Zoro! You’re so grumpy today,” Luffy beamed one afternoon, sprawling halfway across Zoro’s desk. His cheek was squished against the surface, hands fiddling with a pen he’d stolen from Zoro’s pencil case. “Did you not eat lunch?”

Zoro grunted, barely glancing up from his notes. “You ate it, half of it.”

“Ah, right!” Luffy chirped, unashamed. “Thanks again!”

Zoro rolled his eyes, leaning over to snatch the pen back. But in the motion, his fingers brushed just behind Luffy’s ear—just a little flick.

What followed was not what he expected.

“Ah—!”

Luffy’s body jolted like he’d been shocked, scrambling back away from Zoro’s desk in a rush.

The sound made Zoro freeze.

Luffy’s ears were red. His face even redder. And he looked slightly frantic.

“…What was that?” Zoro asked, as he subconsciously reached out his hand towards Luffy like he wanted to confirm something.

“N-nothing!” Luffy squeaked, swatting Zoro’s hand away arms. “Don’t touch my ears!”

Zoro blinked, slowly lowering his hand. Oh, That silly reaction had just confirmed it for him.

Interesting.

Ever since then, whenever Luffy dared to lean too close or sprawl over Zoro’s desk like usual, Zoro would casually reach toward him—just a slight motion, fingers twitching in the air, aimed vaguely near Luffy’s head.

It worked like a charm every time, making Luffy retreat back into his own seat. It was starting to become his favorite classroom pastime. Not that he’d admit it out loud.

However, Luffy was clearly unamused.

“Hey! Stop doing that!” he huffed from beside him, glaring.

“Doing what?” Zoro replied innocently, resting his cheek in one hand while lazily twirling his pen with the other.

“You keep aiming for my ears!”

“Well, you can’t stay in your own space properly,” Zoro remarked flatly.

Luffy’s glare wavered for a second—then, as usual, he leaned in closer like he hadn’t learned a damn thing.

“But I like you. Why can’t I come closer?” he said it with the straightest face imaginable.

Zoro blinked. “Huh? What kind of bullshit are you spouting?!”

He stared at Luffy, genuinely thrown off. No one said that kind of thing so easily. And the way he said it—Zoro honestly couldn’t tell if it was just a friendly gesture or something else entirely.

“I mean it!” Luffy grinned, completely unbothered. “Zoro’s really cool. I like you!”

“Okay, okay, I got it. But I still have my own boundaries,” Zoro exhaled, rubbing his temple, deciding to treat it like a friendly gesture.

“Hm… you’re no fun,” Luffy pouted, but of course, he didn’t move an inch. His arm and shoulder stayed planted across Zoro’s desk like they belonged there.

Zoro narrowed his eyes. “Oi, look here—”

He made that familiar motion again, hand ghosting toward Luffy’s ear.

Luffy pulled back instantly, nearly knocking his chair over. “Stop with that!” he snapped, baring his cartoonishly sharp teeth in frustration.

Zoro snorted. “That’s your fault.”

Then his tone dipped, just a little more curious. “But seriously… why is that such a big deal? Your ear?”

Luffy hesitated—rare enough that Zoro noticed.

His eyes flicked away before he muttered, “It’s… ticklish, okay?”

Zoro blinked. “Ticklish?”

Luffy puffed his cheeks. “Like—I get this stupid, weird feeling. I don’t know why, it just happens. Always been like that. It’s not a big deal or anything, I just… don’t like it.”

His voice was quieter by the end, a little embarrassed perhaps. He crossed his arms like he was trying to shield the topic away. Zoro raised a brow, watching him carefully. Weird feeling? He figured Luffy just meant his ears were sensitive.

“You mean, like… sensitive? How?” he asked, more serious now.

Luffy rocked in his seat a little, visibly regretting opening his mouth. But after a beat, he looked at Zoro and muttered, “I dunno. It’s just you doing it makes it worse. Weird.”

Zoro stared at him, momentarily silent.

Another weird confession. Just like that.

And now it was Zoro’s turn to feel something flicker in his chest. It wasn’t panic exactly, but it was close. A tight heat crept into his throat, and he couldn’t tell if it was annoyance or something far more annoying—curiosity.

You doing it makes it worse.

The words echoed like a challenge he hadn’t been ready for.

He looked at Luffy again. Really looked. The guy was now slumped over his desk, chin buried in his arms, refusing to make eye contact—but his ears were still pink, and he was playing with the hem of his sleeve like he’d said too much. He probably had.

Zoro leaned back in his chair slowly, arms crossed, expression unreadable.

Luffy always said things without thinking. But this one landed differently. Sat heavy in the air between them. Zoro didn’t know what to do with it—except pretend it didn’t get under his skin.

But it did.

Later that day, when the last bell rang and students started trickling out, Luffy lingered at Zoro’s side like it was the most natural thing in the world.

“Wanna hang out?” he asked, already digging around his bag. “I got homework to do. Let me do it at your place.”

Zoro sighed. “That wasn’t a question, was it?”

Luffy grinned like he’d won something, slinging his bag over his shoulder.

And just like that, Zoro found himself unlocking the door to his quiet apartment, stepping inside with Luffy close on his heels—talking the whole way in.

They set up at the low table in Zoro’s bedroom, books spread out like either of them would actually focus.

It was mostly quiet for the first few minutes, aside from the occasional scribble and Luffy muttering something about algebra being “dumb and evil.” Zoro had started to get absorbed in his notes—until he noticed Luffy slowly inching closer again, one elbow sneaking onto Zoro’s side of the table.

“You seriously don’t know what ‘personal space’ mean, do you?” Zoro muttered, shooting him a sideways glance.

Luffy looked up with a big smile, chin resting in one hand. “I like being close to you.”

Zoro clicked his tongue a little but couldn’t help the slight twitch of his lips. “You’re ridiculous.”

“Hehe,” Luffy giggled, looking proud.

Zoro stared at him for a bit. At the way his ragged hair fell over his sharp almond shaped eyes. At the define curve of his side profile. At the ears that will turn red when his hands scraped across it.

And then, just because the opportunity was too perfect—Zoro reached out. A light pinch. Fingertips rubbing into the lobe of Luffy’s ear.

The reaction was instant.

“Eek—!” Luffy practically folded in on himself, jolting back so hard he nearly toppled the table.

Zoro deadpanned. “Oops.”

“Zoro!!” Luffy cried out, clutching the side of his head like he’d been personally betrayed. He scrambled away across the floor, settling dramatically at the opposite end of the table. His cheeks were flushed a deep red, and he pouted hard, eyes narrowed. “I told you not to touch my ears!”

“Well, I told you to give me some space too,” Zoro shot back, leaning on one elbow.

But even as he said it, the words rang hollow in his mouth. Because lately, Luffy clinging to him, leaning on his shoulder, hovering in his space, grinning like an idiot didn’t bother him the way it used to.

If anything, he’d started to notice when the space felt too empty.

Zoro looked at Luffy across the table, sulking like a kicked puppy as he flipped his workbook around with no real purpose—just fidgety and restless.

It was… kind of cute, actually.

Zoro clicked his pen once. Then again. Then slowly set it down.

The homework in front of him was a blur. He didn’t care about equations or whatever essays they were pretending to work on. Not when Luffy was sitting all the way over there, glancing at him from under his messy strands of bangs like he was slightly upset.

Zoro shifted, stretching his arms like it was casual, then got up and walked around the table.

Luffy’s eyes tracked him immediately. “What are you doing?”

“Getting juice,” Zoro replied casually as he wandered out of the room.

A moment later, he came back with two cups of lemon grape juice and naturally plopped down right beside Luffy again like he’d always been there.

He held one out.

“Whoa, this smells nice!” Luffy beamed, taking it without hesitation. He downed the whole thing in one go. Didn’t even notice Zoro was sitting next to him again. The amount of power food and drinks held over this guy was humorously terrifying.

Then, without looking, Zoro shifted his leg.

Purposefully. His knee brushed against Luffy’s. Just a small nudge. Barely anything. But intentional.

Luffy flinched a little. He looked down like he wasn’t sure if it was on purpose.

Zoro stayed still, pretending to focus on the papers scattered on the surface of the table. His knee remained where it was, warm against Luffy’s.

Luffy sat frozen for a second, then whipped around. His voice wary. “Why are you sitting so close?”

Zoro didn’t react. Didn’t even look up right away. He dragged his eyes slowly over the notes in front of him, like he hadn’t just deliberately closed the distance between them.

Then, calmly: “It’s my house, I can sit anywhere I want.”

“That’s not what I meant!” Luffy retorted, the hand nearest to Zoro shifting up to cover his ear—clearly on guard. “You didn’t want to be next to me just now, so why are you next to me now?”

Zoro finally looked at him. Not smug. Not teasing.

Just level.

“I thought you looked cold,” he said, bullshitting with a straight face and a neutral tone.

Luffy blinked, caught off guard. “Huh?”

Zoro shrugged one shoulder, casual as anything. “You looked cold, so I sat closer.”

“I’m not cold,” Luffy muttered. “You’re making me nervous.”

“You are planning something,” Luffy added, shifting away now, though he still didn’t retreat completely. “You’re trying to touch me again.”

Zoro looked at him, clearly amused. The guy sitting beside him was so straightforward, so easy to tease—it was almost unfair. And yet, it stirred something in him. Something he couldn’t quite name, but it bloomed quietly in his chest, warm and steady.

Zoro glanced down and noticed, with Luffy’s hand still covering his ear, his side was completely exposed—unguarded, vulnerable.

Zoro didn’t even think twice.

In one swift, merciless motion, his fingers darted in and dug into Luffy’s side—right beneath the ribs—scratching firmly against the sensitive skin.

“AH—! Zoro!!” Luffy shrieked, twisting violently away, nearly knocking over both of their cups. He scrambled, falling flat on his back, flailing limbs everywhere as wild laughter burst out of him, loud and uncontrollable.

Zoro didn’t let up. He followed him down, grinning like a devil, fingers relentless at the boy’s sides until tears began forming in the corners of Luffy’s eyes.

“HAHAHA..! Get away—Zoro!!” Luffy thrashed beneath him, breath hitching between wheezes, legs kicking out wildly. Both hands shot up and grabbed at Zoro’s wrists in desperation, trying to stop the attack. “Stop Stop!!”

But Zoro only smirked, looming above him. “Your lesson for forcing yourself onto others”

That had been a lame excuse, really. Zoro knew it. He just wanted to toy with Luffy for a bit—wanted to see what happened when that usual confidence cracked.

When the laughter turned into a few coughs, Zoro finally let go, pulling his hand back. Letting Luffy take a much needed break.

“…You’re so mean, Zoro,” Luffy huffed between heavy breaths and lingering coughs, voice hoarse and accusing, but not angry.

Zoro looked down.

Luffy was a mess—flushed and teary-eyed, a light sheen of sweat along his brow. His shirt had ridden up in all the thrashing, bunched beneath his chest, exposing the soft skin of his stomach. His sides were red, still tinged with leftover warmth from where Zoro’s fingers had attacked.

And their position—

Zoro’s pulse skipped.

He hadn’t noticed how, somewhere in the middle of it all, he’d shifted his weight—Luffy’s hips propped right against his own to keep his legs from kicking. They were practically slotted together, Zoro sitting back with Luffy cradled beneath him.

Too close.

Way too close.

The realization hit him like a slap of cold water. His whole face flushed instantly.

With a sharp jolt, Zoro panicked—flinging himself off and scrambling backward like he’d touched a live wire. His back hit the wall with a quiet thud, and he quickly circled back to where he’d originally been sitting, grabbing his juice cup like it was a lifeline.

Luffy blinked up at the ceiling for a beat, still catching his breath, then sluggishly pushed himself upright. He sat cross-legged, rubbing at his sore sides.

“So mean, Zoro!” Luffy repeated, this time with a slight pout, voice dipping into something almost petulant. “Not sitting close to you again.”

He plopped his chin down on the table with a dramatic sigh, gently nibbling the rim of his empty cup. His fingers stretched lazily toward his pen, fidgeting with it, trying to will himself into the mood to actually start on his homework.

Zoro stayed still and quiet, elbow propped on the low table, forehead resting in his hand—fingers splayed enough to hide most of his expression. He looked like he was reading, a half-finished essay in front of him, but his pen hadn’t moved in minutes.

Luffy peeked at him from behind his arm.

“…What’s wrong, Zoro?” he asked, unable to stop himself. Zoro was just a little too quiet. Too still.

The green-haired boy didn’t look up. His voice was soft and flat. “Nothing.”

But something about the way he said it didn’t sound like nothing at all.

Luffy squinted at him.

Zoro hadn’t moved in a while. Still sitting there like a statue, his pen almost snapping from how tight he was holding it. Brows furrowed and eyes shifting low like he was thinking, but Luffy knew that look—it wasn’t thinking. It was hiding.

A grin tugged at the corners of Luffy’s mouth.

“Well, if you’re not mad or sick or brooding about something tragic,” he started lightly, “then maybe…”

He leaned in from the opposite end, voice dropping low and dramatic, “You’re just sulking ‘cause I said I wouldn’t sit next to you again.”

Thank god he’s dumb, Zoro thought.

Because if Luffy had even half a clue what he was doing to him just by smiling and looking, this would already be a disaster.

————————

The next day at school, things did not improve.

If anything, they got worse.

Luffy had always been chaos in motion, but now Zoro was hyper-aware of him. Every sound, every movement, every time his knee knocked against Zoro’s desk during morning announcements—it all stuck to Zoro’s skin like static. He couldn’t shake it.

And it didn’t help that Luffy acted like nothing was different.

He still shifted in too close during math, practically breathing down Zoro’s neck to whisper, “What’s the answer to this one? You’re good at math, right?”

Still sprawled himself across the desk during literature like a bored cat, mouth agape, shirt slightly rumpled, pen cap between his teeth.

Still laughed loud during lunch, cheeks full of rice, talking with his mouth open and stealing from Zoro’s lunch like it was his.

Zoro felt like he was losing his mind.

——————————

PE class was hell.

Not because it was hard. Not even because of the dumb group flexibility test they were doing.

No. Zoro’s suffering came from one specific source: Monkey D. Luffy.

It was supposed to be a simple partner stretch session. White tees, navy shorts, an air-conditioned gym—nothing remotely intense. Just helping each other loosen up before the actual endurance circuit. But of course, nothing involving Luffy ever stayed simple.

“Yo, be my partner!” Luffy declared with a grin.

Zoro gave up protesting—Luffy always got what he wanted. And now he was stuck with this idiot who somehow made him way too anxious.

Zoro knelt behind him on the mat, watching the boy stretch like his spine was made of rope and chewing gum at the same time. Crazy flexibility.

“Help me with this one,” Luffy said, turning the instruction sheet around and pointing at one of the final positions. “This cobra thingy.”

Zoro squinted. The diagram showed someone lying face-down, back arched with their arms pulled back behind them for a deep chest-opening stretch.

Trying not to complain, Zoro planted his feet on either side of Luffy’s thighs, standing over him to get into position.

Luffy’s legs were spread slightly, thighs flat on the mat. A tan line peeked near the edge of his shorts, and his shirt had ridden up again, revealing the subtle curve of his lower back. The waistband of his gym shorts dipped low against his hips

“Pull my hands, Zoro!” Luffy barked, voice impatient.

Zoro jerked slightly, snapping out of his trance. “What the hell am I even thinking…” he muttered under his breath, panicking a little.

He reached down, grabbing both of Luffy’s wrists, and yanked too hard—too fast.

“Agh—Zoro!” Luffy hissed, not in pain exactly, but surprised. “That’s too much strength! You might break someone’s back!”

Zoro froze. “Shit—“

“But I like it like this,” Luffy added before Zoro could apologize or let go. Hearing that, Zoro froze—then stayed exactly where he was.

Luffy was practically bent backward at a ninety-degree angle now, spine arched unnaturally, chest lifted clean off the floor, his wrists drawn back tightly by Zoro’s grip. For most people, it would’ve been some horrific contortionist’s mistake. But Luffy?

He looked fine. Relaxed, even. Like his body was built for bending in ways Zoro was pretty sure violated multiple medical rules.

Zoro stared.

Everything about Luffy seemed unreal like this—stretchy, soft, impossible. His torso moved with every breath, ribs expanding under smooth skin. His hair stuck in wild tufts to the sides of his sweaty face, lips parted from effort but not discomfort.

“I’m bored of this one, Zoro! Let’s do the next stretch,” Luffy huffed, already wiggling in place like he couldn’t sit still for more than a second.

Zoro hadn’t even realized he was holding his breath until he let it out slowly. His voice came out lower than expected. “You’re seriously… bendy.”

He let go of Luffy’s wrists without thinking, and because Luffy had been pulled so far back—completely relaxed—his face dropped straight into the mat with a soft bonk.

Zoro blinked, then rubbed the back of his neck. “Sorry. I thought you were holding yourself up.”

Luffy sat up with a dramatic scowl, the tip of his nose red from the impact. He grumbled but didn’t seem too upset, rubbing at his face, then gave Zoro a sidelong glance. “You’re lucky I’m indestructible.”

Zoro muttered under his breath, “Yeah, clearly.”

His heart was still beating way too fast for just a regular stretch session.

Luffy remained sprawled on his stomach, legs swaying lazily in the air as he scanned the instruction sheet again.

“Ooh! Let’s do this one—hamster!”

Zoro blinked. “…Hamster?”

Luffy stabbed a finger at the page, pointing at the bold title Supine Hamstring Stretch. “This!”

Zoro leaned over to look. The diagram showed one person lying flat on their back, lifting one leg toward the ceiling, while their partner knelt in front of them, pushing the leg to deepen the stretch. Some helpful note underneath explained it was “great for loosening the hamstrings and hip flexors.”

Luffy rolled onto his back without an ounce of grace, one leg kicking straight up into the air. “Here!”

Zoro hesitated for a split second, a bead of sweat forming at his temple. This position felt… bad. But he swallowed hard and did as instructed, kneeling into position in front of him.

He gripped Luffy’s raised ankle gently, guiding the stretch as the instruction sheet said. One hand slid to Luffy’s calf for support, the other pressing carefully into the back of his thigh, easing it closer toward his chest.

Zoro nearly forgot how to breathe. His hands were clamped around the soft muscle warm beneath his palms. He could hear Luffy’s quiet, steady breaths—each one puffing out just a little harder the deeper the stretch went. The skin under Zoro’s fingers was smooth and hot, and the closer he leaned to adjust the angle, the more he realized just how open Luffy’s position was—one leg bent, the other lifted straight in the air, stretching without an ounce of tension in his body.

His grip tightened without thinking.

God. He was going insane.

Somehow, time passed faster than Zoro would’ve liked, he hadn’t even realized he’d been holding his breath again until—

“Hey, Zoro, last one!” Luffy chirped, voice upside-down as he blindly patted around above his head, fumbling for the crumpled instruction sheet. “The twist one!”

Before Zoro could react, Luffy shoved his raised legs out of his grip and twisted his lower body at the hips, his upper body still facing Zoro, but his legs flopped sideways, one crossing over the other with careless ease. One of his arm draped above his head, shirt riding even higher now, revealing a narrow stretch of his waist.

Zoro blinked, his gaze dropping for a second. His throat felt tight.

He moved in automatically, the way the sheet had shown: He planted one palm on Luffy’s shoulder—firm but careful, holding him in the twist. The other hand went to Luffy’s thigh to further push the lower half of his body.

Except… it didn’t simply land on his thigh.

His fingers slipped, dipping just slightly under the hem of Luffy’s shorts.

Warm skin.

Soft, bare skin.

The fabric was damp with sweat, clinging to the muscle, and Zoro could feel the give of it under his hand. He could feel the faint tremble of muscle as Luffy adjusted his breathing. And worst of all—how natural it felt to be touching him there.

Zoro’s heart thudded a few times, loud and deep in his chest.

Luffy didn’t seem to notice—his eyes were shut, just relaxing into the stretch.

This had to be the longest and shortest gym lesson Zoro had ever experienced.

His brain felt fried from how much he’d been thinking about Luffy. And yet… he didn’t want it to end. Luckily—or maybe unluckily—Luffy still had to assist his stretches too.

At first, Zoro thought he’d catch a break. But that hope died fast. Luffy clearly wasn’t looking at the instruction sheet properly and ended up putting in even more strength than Zoro in all the wrong areas. Zoro wasn’t anywhere near as flexible, so the stretches sometimes made him screech in pain, limbs trembling while Luffy laughed it off like it was hilarious.

“Oi—!! That’s not how—!” Zoro would try to complain mid-pose, but Luffy was already shifting him into the next awkward position.

But even through the discomfort, there were moments, fleeting but sharp, where Luffy would lean in too close.

Zoro could smell his shampoo—something citrusy and warm, like oranges and sunshine. And when their faces were inches apart, when Luffy’s hands gripped his limbs with surprising care, when he casually settled on top of Zoro’s stomach to study the instruction sheet again—

He’d forget how to breathe.

Moments like that made Zoro wish he could freeze time—just stay like this, with Luffy close, warm, and unbothered.

It was addictive.

————————————-
Next few days…

Surely by now, Zoro had realized he was far too interested in the noisy boy who sat beside him in class. But he still hadn’t figured out how to deal with his feelings.

In shows, the next step was usually a confession—or suddenly dating like it was the most natural thing in the world. But Zoro wasn’t even sure if that’s what he wanted. Not yet.

Maybe he needed to test the waters first. Feel things out before taking any bold steps.

Luffy had said he liked him. Maybe there was a deeper meaning in that… or maybe it was just Luffy being Luffy.

Zoro honestly couldn’t tell. But remembering what Luffy said—“It’s just you doing it that makes it worse. Weird”—gave him a shimmer of hope.

———————

Lunch break arrived, and Zoro literally had his back turned towards Luffy, shielding his lunch. Just a few onigiris—nothing special. But Luffy kept peeking over his shoulder every now and then, silently begging for one, or maybe just waiting to steal again.

“None for you!” Zoro said through a mouthful, turning back to face Luffy and showing him the empty box. “All gone.”

“Not like I was asking for one!” Luffy shot back.

Then Luffy glanced down at Zoro’s hands—still sticky with stray grains of rice. Without warning, he grabbed Zoro’s wrist and brought the fingers to his mouth. Just like that.

Zoro froze. Eyes blown wide. Mouth still mid-chew. Brain completely off the map. But he didn’t pull away

Luffy’s tongue curled around Zoro’s fingers, licking the rice off before sucking on them with a little more force than necessary. Then he popped Zoro’s hand out of his mouth and grinned.

“You aren’t supposed to waste food!”

Zoro was completely dumbfounded. Was Luffy actually teasing him? Or was this just… a Luffy thing?

No normal person would do that to a friend—but then again, Luffy was anything but normal.

Zoro’s face burned, and he prayed his blush wasn’t too obvious.

——————————

A few weeks passed, and summer break had come. Luffy had already invited himself over to Zoro’s apartment several times—mostly to hang out, play games, or just sprawl across Zoro’s floor like he lived there. At this point, it was obvious they’d gotten closer. The awkward tension that once flared up around each other had dulled into something more familiar. Comfortable. Too comfortable, maybe.

Then one afternoon, Luffy randomly suggested a sleepover. And for reasons Zoro didn’t fully understand, he said okay.

“You’ll be sleeping here,” Zoro said, pointing to the extra futon he’d unrolled on the floor—right beside his own low, wooden-framed bed.

Luffy frowned at it like it offended him.
“Ehhh, I don’t wanna. I wanna sleep with Zoro!” he whined, jabbing a finger toward Zoro’s bed instead.

Zoro stared at him flatly. “No.”

“Why not?”

“Because it’s weird.”

Luffy tilted his head. “But I’m not a girl,” he said, like that explained everything.

“That’s not what I meant…” Zoro muttered, already regretting the conversation.

Before he could stop him, Luffy sprang up and flopped dramatically onto Zoro’s bed, arms and legs spread wide.

“Don’t worry! I don’t take up much space!”

Zoro narrowed his eyes. “That’s still not the issue.”

“I don’t care! I’m sleeping here!” Luffy declared, already rolling onto his side and patting the space beside him like he owned it.

Zoro let out a long, tired sigh. “Fine. Whatever. But at least go shower before you crawl into my bed, you gremlin.”

Luffy grinned victoriously. “Yay!”

He was halfway to the bathroom when he paused and turned back. “Hey—got anything I can wear?”

The sleepover had been totally unplanned, of course. Luffy hadn’t even brought a toothbrush.

Zoro scratched the back of his head, then rummaged through his closet. After a moment, he tossed a plain black T-shirt and a pair of old shorts onto the bed.

“They’ll probably hang off you like a scarecrow,” he said.

“Thanks!” Luffy called from the hallway, already stripping off his shirt.

Zoro caught a glimpse—bare back, lean frame, a light shade tan. He immediately turned his eyes away, jaw tightening.

It’s fine, he told himself. He’s just Luffy. He’s always like this.

Still, Zoro sat on the edge of his bed, staring at the floor and listening to the sound of running water behind the bathroom door—trying very hard not to imagine anything at all.

About ten minutes later, Zoro heard the bathroom door click open, followed by the unmistakable sound of bare feet thudding down the hallway.

“Your turn!” Luffy called out cheerfully.

Zoro looked up—and froze.

Luffy stood in the doorway wearing Zoro’s clothes: the black T-shirt hung low past his hips, the collar stretched wide and loose from years of wear, slipping slightly off one shoulder. The borrowed shorts were almost completely hidden beneath the oversized shirt, only the very edge peeking out.

He looked like he was wearing ‘boyfriend’s shirt’.

Zoro immediately looked away, pretending to fix something on the nightstand. “Took you long enough.”

Luffy didn’t seem to notice the effect he was having.

“It’s super comfy! And it smells like Zoro!” he added, flopping onto the bed like it was his own.

Zoro cleared his throat and got up. “Don’t drool on the sheets.”

“No promises,” Luffy said, already wriggling under the blanket.

Zoro grabbed a towel and headed toward the bathroom, muttering, “gosh.”

Inside, he turned on the water and splashed his face before even thinking about undressing. His mind kept replaying the image of Luffy in his shirt, sprawled across his bed so defenseless, so trusting.

By the time Zoro stepped out of the bathroom—damp hair sticking to his forehead, towel slung around his neck—the room was dim and still. The only light came from the soft orange glow from the table lamp.

Luffy was already asleep.

Curled up on Zoro’s side of the bed—naturally—his face buried half into the pillow, one arm flopped over the edge of the blanket. Zoro’s blanket. His breathing was deep and steady, lips slightly parted, one leg bent, the hem of the oversized T-shirt riding up just enough to expose the smooth curve of his thigh.

Zoro stopped in the doorway and just… stared.

His throat went dry.

He didn’t know what exactly hit him harder—the image of Luffy asleep in his bed, in his clothes, completely relaxed like he belonged there, or the sudden, stupid, selfish thought that flickered through his mind:

I wanna touch him.

Not even in a dirty way—not entirely. More like… he wanted to slip into the bed, press close to Luffy’s warmth, rest his chin against the soft crown of his hair, maybe slide an arm around his waist.

Just for a minute. Just to see what it felt like.

Zoro clenched his jaw and forced himself to look away. He tossed the towel aside, and climbed carefully into bed, trying not to disturb him. The mattress shifted a little under his weight, and Luffy stirred—murmured something sleepy and soft.

Zoro stared at the ceiling. His heart thumped too loudly in his ears. His body screamed to stay still, but his hands betrayed him.

Slowly, he reached down and slid one arm around Luffy’s waist.

Thankfully, Luffy was a heavy sleeper..

Zoro’s fingers hovered for a moment—then tightened. Gently, but firmly, he pulled Luffy in until his back was pressed flush against Zoro’s bare chest.

The warmth hit him immediately. Skin against skin, only a thin layer of cotton between them. Zoro swallowed hard, his breath catching in his throat.

He let his forehead rest lightly against the back of Luffy’s neck, his breath brushing warm across the skin there. Luffy smelled faintly like soap. He felt small like this. Soft in ways Zoro had never let himself notice.

It should’ve been weird. It should’ve felt wrong. But all Zoro could think was how good it felt to hold him like this.

His thumb absently traced a small, slow arc over the dip of Luffy’s waist.

He didn’t know what this was—was it just instinct, or something deeper clawing its way out from wherever he’d buried it?

All he knew was… he didn’t want to let go.

Not yet. Maybe not ever.

————————-

Luffy stirred sometime just before dawn.

He didn’t open his eyes at first—just blinked against the dim morning light slipping through the curtains, mind floating in that hazy space between sleep and waking.

Something felt different.

Warm.

His body was… held.

There was an arm draped firmly across his middle, heavy with heat. A bare chest pressed solidly against his back. Breath—deep and steady—tickled the back of his neck. He could feel it clearly, every slow exhale grazing his skin.

And a palm.

A big, calloused palm was resting right under his shirt, fingers splayed across his stomach like they’d always belonged there.

His sleep-fogged brain took a second to register it.

Zoro.

Zoro was behind him. Holding him. Their legs tangled beneath the blanket, their bodies locked together in quiet, perfect closeness.

Luffy didn’t move.

His eyes were open now, wide and blinking at the pale glow of the ceiling. His heart thudded stupidly fast in his chest, like it hadn’t gotten the memo that nothing was happening—but everything was happening.

The warmth from Zoro’s body seeped into his skin, into his ribs, into every breath. It felt… safe. Secure. Nice.

Way too nice.

He swallowed, shifting slightly—but not enough to pull away. Just enough to feel Zoro’s arm tighten, instinctively, like he was scared Luffy might slip out of reach.

Zoro’s mouth now hovered dangerously close to his ear. Every deep breath he took sent warm air brushing against the back Luffy’s ear, and it made Luffy’s chest tighten. He bit down on a silent whine and turned his face further away, trying to escape the sensation—but careful not to wake Zoro.

He didn’t want to wake him.

Lying there, Luffy’s mind wandered.

Ever since he transferred to this school, Zoro had caught his attention at first glance—spiky green hair, sharp eyes, and those three earrings swinging from his left ear like they meant something. Some students said he was scary, but that only made Luffy more curious.

And when he got to know him?

It was almost immediate—he liked Zoro’s vibe. He wasn’t scary at all. He was quiet, calm, kind in a weird way. Fun. Cool without trying.

Luffy had wanted to get closer. From the start.

And now, here he was—tangled up in Zoro’s arms, heart pounding, trying not to read too much into how tight that arm was holding him. Trying not to think about how badly he did want to stay like this.

Then a sharp blow of warm air hit his ear—direct, playful, and far too close.

Luffy jolted, a soft whimper slipping out. “Ah—Zoro… don’t do that!”

He turned his head around, cheeks flushed, eyes wide.

Zoro was awake. And grinning like an idiot.

“Morning,” he said, voice low and scratchy from sleep. “You hungry? Let’s get breakfast outside.”

Before Luffy could even process the shift, Zoro gave him one last, strong squeeze, hand sliding briefly up his side before slipping out of bed.

Luffy didn’t dwell on the intimacy. His brain had already shifted gears. Food was now the only thing echoing in his head. He jumped out of bed, grinning, and followed Zoro with a bounce in his step.

“Breakfast!!” he shouted, darting straight toward the bathroom to get ready.

Zoro shouted, chasing after him. “Oi! I have a new toothbrush—don’t just grab anything!”

——————————

Throughout the two-month summer break, Luffy had practically moved in. He came over to Zoro’s place almost every day, and their sleepovers had become so frequent they stopped feeling like special occasions. Neither of them ever said anything out loud, but the closeness between them had deepened—quietly, steadily. Intimacy grew in the spaces between conversations, in casual touches and easy silences.

Sometimes, Zoro would rest his hands on Luffy’s hips to move him—slow and steady—even though simply grabbing his arms would’ve been easier.

Sometimes, Luffy would jump onto Zoro from behind while he was sitting on the floor, arms draped around his neck, chin resting on Zoro’s hair as he rocked from side to side, trying to get his attention.

Sometimes, Zoro would reach out without a word to wipe the mess off Luffy’s food-stained face with a napkin, like it was second nature.

And sometimes, Luffy would crawl right into the space between Zoro’s crossed legs, settling there like it was his rightful spot.

Zoro didn’t stop Luffy anymore, not when he couldn’t seem to stop himself either.

But lately, Zoro had been thinking about Luffy’s ears.

That jolt. That sound. That blush. It had burned into his memory like a spark waiting to catch.

⸻———

One night, long after the lights had gone out, they lay in bed—almost spooning, but not quite, their bodies close yet not touching. Luffy was turned away from Zoro, and the silence felt heavier than usual. At least, for Zoro it did.

“You awake?” he murmured.

“Mmh,” Luffy answered sleepily.

Zoro stared at the dark silhouette of Luffy’s ear, his fingers itching to feel it properly.

“Can I…” he asked quietly, his voice a little rough, “touch your ears this time?”

Luffy hesitated just a beat—before muttering, “Mm… just two seconds probably.”

Zoro’s chest tightened with something close to a thrill. He couldn’t believe Luffy had actually said yes. Anticipating he might bolt, Zoro had already slid one arm under and up around Luffy’s ribs. Then he reached out, fingers brushing the edge of Luffy’s ear—slow, deliberate.

Luffy twitched instantly. “Okay! Two seconds’ up!” he gasped, breath hitching sharply. His hands flew up to stop him, but Zoro caught them with the arm wrapped around his ribs, pinning both wrists firmly against the black-haired boy’s own chest.

“Zoro—!” Luffy’s voice cracked, half protest, half breathy plea.

“For a little longer,” Zoro murmured, low and close to his ear. “Just a little.”

He slid his thumb gently along the shell of Luffy’s ear, then rubbed firmly behind it—right at the soft, sensitive spot he remembered.

Luffy squirmed.

“Ahn—! T-Time out…!”

His whole body shivered, one leg twitching against Zoro’s beneath the blanket. He was trembling.

Zoro’s eyes narrowed slightly, fascinated. Luffy’s ears were burning now.

“You’re really sensitive here, huh,” Zoro said, voice low with curiosity, maybe something heavier.

Luffy turned his face away, hiding it against the pillow. “Shut up…”

But Zoro didn’t stop. He leaned in, breath brushing over the very same spot—and when he gave the barest puff of air, Luffy squeaked.

His fingers clutched the sheets. His thighs squeezed together.

Zoro’s hand slid to the dip of Luffy’s waist, steadying him.

“I barely touched you,” Zoro said against his skin. “That was all from your ears?”

Luffy didn’t answer—just trembled.

Zoro chuckled, low and rough, something darker curling under the sound.

“Is it just ’cause your ears are sensitive…” he murmured, “…or is it also because it’s me?”

Luffy drew in a sharp, shuddering breath. He buried his face deeper into the pillow like he could hide there, but his voice slipped out anyway—quiet and shaky.

“Maybe both…”

Zoro pushed a little further. “You don’t just think of me as a friend, right?”

His hand slid away from Luffy’s waist and returned to his ear, rubbing along the shell—harder now, more deliberate. Luffy’s whole body tensed again, a soft, unguarded sound catching in his throat.

“P-probably…” he breathed out, voice thin and high. “A-are you done touching it now?”

Luffy twisted instinctively, trying to pull away, but Zoro still had one hand firmly locking his wrists in place.

The green-haired boy leaned in close, his mouth brushing just behind Luffy’s nape. His hand slid around to curl over the front of Luffy’s abdomen.

“You should’ve said something sooner,” he murmured, his voice almost tender.

Luffy let out a long, dramatic sigh, thinking Zoro was finally done with him—he couldn’t take much more. But then he felt something warm… and wet glide across the back of his ear.

“What—?!” he yelped, jolting.

Zoro smirked against his skin. “Payback,” he said, voice teasing, “for licking my fingers the other day.”

Luffy flushed all over, kicking out in protest. “That was different!”

Zoro chuckled, unbothered. “Sure it was.”

Tongue flicking once more, this time tracing the curve of his ear. “What, didn’t expect me to return the favor?”

Then Zoro’s mouth opened wider, and he took in nearly half of Luffy’s ear, sucking hard.

Not gentle—hungry. His tongue moved slowly, deliberately, dragging heat over the flushed skin before his teeth grazed along the edge with a possessive pull. Luffy choked on his own breath, back arching with a jolt.

“Z-Zoro—!”

But Zoro didn’t stop.

He sucked again, deeper this time, lips sealing around the delicate curve like he wanted to devour the reaction. The wet sounds, the heat, the overwhelming sensation—it shattered whatever control Luffy had left. His body trembled violently in Zoro’s arms, the sounds pouring from his throat raw and unfiltered.

“Ah—! Nnngh—it’s bad! It’s really bad—!”

Zoro could hardly believe how easily those sweet, breathless moans were spilling from Luffy’s lips—how effortlessly he was gasping his name like it meant something more.

“I—I’m—”

Luffy’s whole body suddenly tensed without warning, going rigid in Zoro’s arms—then all at once, he slumped, boneless, into the hold around his ribs. Like every ounce of strength had drained out of him. He was panting, hard and uneven, chest rising and falling in sharp bursts. His body twitched slightly, involuntarily.

Zoro blinked, staring down at him.

“…Did you just—?”

Luffy didn’t respond. His wide, stunned eyes stared blankly at the wall in front of him as if he couldn’t quite process what just happened.

“Oh shit… oh god… what was that?” he finally rasped, voice trembling. He was still shaking.

Zoro stared, stunned. Then he adjusted his hold, finally letting go of Luffy’s wrists and pulled the boy in a little closer, both arms firm around his limp, twitchy body.

“Did you cum?” he asked, quieter now.

Luffy let out a shaky breath, eyes half-lidded. “No…but it felt good.”

Zoro’s heart gave a strange, low thud at the sound of it. He swallowed hard.

He still couldn’t wrap his head around it—Luffy’s ears had been that sensitive? Sensitive enough to make him experience a dry orgasm?

Zoro’s mouth felt dry. He didn’t know what the hell to do with the warmth pooling in his gut, or the fact that his own heartbeat was still too fast. This wasn’t a joke anymore.

“…I didn’t know it could feel that good,” Luffy mumbled suddenly, voice hoarse.

Zoro’s arms tightened a fraction.

“I wasn’t trying to make you—y’know,” he said, tone awkward but low.

Luffy let out a tiny laugh, breathless. “Yeah, no shit.”

Luffy curled back into Zoro, fitting against him perfectly. Zoro kept his arms wrapped around him, and together, they drifted off to sleep.

—————————

The light filtering through the window was soft and golden when Luffy finally rustled. His eyes blinked open slowly, lashes fluttering against Zoro’s collarbone.

Warm. Close. Heavy.

He was still in Zoro’s arms.

Except—

Somehow, during the night, their positions had shifted. Now Luffy was the one wrapped around Zoro, limbs tangled possessively—one leg thrown over his hip, arms looped lazily around his torso like a human octopus. And their faces were so close he could feel Zoro’s slow, even breathing on his lips.

A grin spread across Luffy’s face.

He leaned in and gave Zoro a rough, obnoxious lick straight up the side of his face.

Zoro twitched.

Luffy snorted under his breath, then licked again, this time slower, trailing up to the edge of his cheekbone. Zoro’s brow twitched.

“You’re awake,” Luffy whispered.

No response.

Luffy licked the underside of his jaw next—then nuzzled into his neck, warm breath ghosting over the skin before giving a playful, dragging lap right over the pulse point.

Zoro groaned. His voice was rough, sleep-heavy, and entirely unamused. “Luffy.”

“Mornin’,” Luffy said cheerfully, grinning against his throat.

“What the hell are you doing?”

Luffy pulled back just enough to look him in the face, his eyes bright with mischief. “Returnin’ the favor.”

Zoro cracked one eye open. His voice was still thick with sleep. “I didn’t suck your face awake.”

“No,” Luffy said, then promptly licked his chin. “But you did suck my ear until I almost died yesterday, so this is pretty fair.”

Zoro let his head fall back against the pillow with a long, exhausted sigh. “It’s not even 8 a.m.”

“You’re warm,” Luffy mumbled, wrapping around him tighter. “And you smell good.”

He paused suddenly, nose practically brushing Zoro’s. For a moment, he just stared—eyes wide, expression unreadable.

Then Luffy blurted, “Are we dating now? I wanna kiss.”

Zoro’s brain short-circuited.

“What—?”

“I mean, you held me so many nights—so you like me,” Luffy said, like that settled everything. “And I told you I like you. So… we’re probably dating now, right?”

Zoro opened his mouth. Nothing came out. His entire system felt like it had been kicked out of alignment.

Luffy tilted his head. “You don’t wanna kiss?”

“…I,” Zoro said, his voice just a little unsteady. “Let’s kiss.”

“You’re my first, Zoro,” Luffy smirked before suddenly closing in, slapping both hands onto Zoro’s cheeks.

Then he opened his mouth wide and practically tried to devour him—tongue gliding everywhere, wet and uncontrolled. He bit and sucked on Zoro’s lips, hot and hard, like he had no idea what restraint even was.

“I—don’t think that’s how you kis—” Zoro gasped between breaths, voice breaking under the surprise. He wasn’t sure either. It was his first time too.

Luffy didn’t let up—in fact, he got more aggressive, like Zoro’s half-protest had only encouraged him. His mouth latched onto Zoro’s lower lip again, sucking with wild enthusiasm before biting down just hard enough to make Zoro jolt.

“Luf—!” Zoro grunted, trying to pull back, but Luffy chased after him, hands still locked tight around his face.

Luffy was grinning now, breath hot and panting. “You make funny noises.”

“You’re eating my face,” Zoro growled, half-exasperated, half dazed.

Then, with a sudden move, Zoro also pressed both palms against Luffy’s cheeks and pushed his head back—firm but not harsh. He huffed, trying to catch his breath. “L-let me do it.”

Luffy was practically sprawled all over Zoro now, a mischievous grin tugging at his lips. “Okay!” he said, eyes sparkling like he knew exactly what he was doing. Zoro took a breath, steadying himself. Luffy’s weight was warm across his chest, his grin smug and expectant—and god, it was annoying how much Zoro liked it.

He slid one hand from Luffy’s cheek to the back of his neck, fingers curling into his hair, and pulled him in.

This time, Zoro kissed him somewhat properly.

His lips pressed firmly against Luffy’s—no hesitation, no fumbling. Just heat and intent. Luffy’s smirk faltered mid-kiss, a surprised little sound caught in his throat. Zoro felt it and smirked against his mouth.

He tilted his head slightly, deepening it, letting it linger longer—then parted his lips just enough. His tongue brushed against Luffy’s lower lip, testing, teasing.

Luffy reacted immediately, mouth parting, inviting him in with zero shame or patience.

Their tongues met—warm, clumsy, hungry.

Luffy’s fingers twisted into Zoro’s shirt, tugging, grounding himself as the kiss turned messier again, but not wild like before. This was slower, deeper. Zoro’s hand tightened at the back of his neck, holding him in place, making sure he couldn’t pull away even if he wanted to.

Luffy moaned softly into his mouth—small, breathy, and far too effective.

Zoro deepened the kiss for just a second more, tongue brushing against Luffy’s again, tasting the sound he’d just pulled out of him. Luffy’s fingers curled tighter in his shirt, hips shifting instinctively against his.

That was almost enough to break Zoro’s control completely.

But somehow, he pulled back—just barely.

They finally parted, breath hitching between them—faces flushed, lips damp, foreheads nearly touching.

Zoro’s chest rose and fell beneath him, his hand still resting at the back of Luffy’s neck, thumb brushing lightly along his skin.

Then—out of absolutely nowhere—Luffy blurted, “Hey, do you know about sex? I heard it feels nice. Wanna try it?”

Zoro froze.

His entire body stiffened under Luffy like someone had dumped a bucket of ice water on him.

“…What,” he said flatly, voice stuck somewhere between disbelief and panic.

Luffy looked dead serious. Curious, even. Like he’d just asked if they should try a new food.

“I mean, we kissed,” Luffy shrugged. “And you touched me. So the next thing’s sex, right?”

Zoro stared at him. “That’s not—Luffy, that’s not how it works.”

Luffy frowned a little. “But don’t people who like each other do that?”

Zoro opened his mouth. Closed it. Rubbed a hand down his face.

“Yes, but—god, there are steps, Luffy.”

Luffy tilted his head. “We skipped a lot of steps already though.”

Zoro groaned, hand dragging into his hair. “Don’t just ask like that—”

Luffy leaned in again, voice low and very, very Luffy: “So that’s not a no?”

Zoro squeezed his eyes shut.

He was going to die. Actually, physically die.

Deep down, he wanted to say yes—without hesitation, without thinking. But he was scared. Sex didn’t feel like something simple. It shouldn’t be done on instinct alone… right? There should be proper thought behind it. Consequences. At least, he thought there were supposed to be consequences. He just didn’t know what they were. His mind was too clouded to figure it out.

And Luffy—damn Luffy—was lying on top of him, looking down with those wide, eager eyes, completely unbothered. Just a little pouty, a little sad, but expectant.

It made Zoro stop thinking entirely.

“If you let me be the one to put it in… then fine,” he muttered deadpan—but his heart was dying from embarrassment.

Luffy perked up immediately. “I don’t really care, so… is that a yes?” Zoro exhaled hard. “Yeah…”

“Oh yay!” Luffy beamed and sat up in excitement—but didn’t move off him, just stayed comfortably straddling Zoro’s stomach like it was his chair.

Then a pause.

Luffy stared down at him. “So… what’s next?”

Zoro blinked, then pushed a hand over his face. “I need to find lube. And condoms.”

Luffy tilted his head. “Why condoms? That’s the rubber thing, right? I can’t get pregnant!”

Zoro flushed so hard it almost hurt. “I—I know that, dumbass! It’s just… I don’t know, probably safer or something. Health stuff.”

Luffy frowned. “No. I don’t want that.”

Zoro blinked up at him, startled. “What? Why?”

“No,” Luffy said, shaking his head. “I don’t want it if it’s not really you.”

Zoro stared at him like he’d been sucker-punched. Luffy’s voice wasn’t teasing now. Just honest and open.

His brain short-circuited. He covered his face again. “Oh my god…”

“You’re overthinking again,” Luffy said, leaning down until their noses were practically touching. “Let’s just feel good.”

Zoro groaned, dragging his hands down his face. “You’re gonna kill me.”

“Better by me than anyone else,” Luffy grinned, completely sincere.

Zoro huffed out something between a laugh and a sigh, then finally nudged Luffy off his stomach and stood. “Stay there,” he muttered, turning toward his closet.

Luffy watched him with curious eyes, one leg lazily kicking behind him as he sprawled across the bed like a smug cat.

Zoro rifled through a drawer, trying to look casual while internally combusting. It was shoved in the back, under a stack of folded shirts—a small bottle he’d bought once out of curiosity and then never touched again.

When he pulled it out, Luffy sat up. “Is that it?”

“Yeah.” Zoro didn’t meet his eyes. “Don’t make a face.”

“I didn’t!” Luffy said, though he was definitely grinning like a menace. “What do we do now?”

Zoro hesitated.

“…You sure you want this?”

Luffy scooted to the edge of the bed, eyes locked on his. “Duh.”

That was all it took.

Zoro crossed the room in silence and lowered himself beside Luffy, the edge of the bed dipping under his weight. For a moment, he didn’t speak. Then, without hesitation, he reached out—fingers curling firmly around Luffy’s waist—and pulled him in.

Their bodies met with a sudden jolt of heat and motion.

The bottle slipped from Zoro’s hand onto the sheets, forgotten, as he seized Luffy fully—one hand threading into the dark mess of hair, the other cupping his jaw with startling tenderness—and kissed him.

Their mouths crashed together, all breath and heat, raw and unrestrained.

Luffy moaned into the kiss, hands flying to Zoro’s shirt, clutching hard as he climbed into his lap with reckless need. His movements were instinctive, almost frantic, hips grinding down as if his body already knew what it wanted.

Zoro held him tighter, fingers digging into his sides, dragging him closer still. He kissed back rougher, deeper—tongue sweeping into Luffy’s mouth with deliberate hunger.

Their lips parted and met again, over and over, the rhythm messy, breathless, unrelenting.

Zoro’s hands didn’t remain idle. They slipped beneath the hem of Luffy’s thin white shirt, palms dragging up the warm plane of his torso until his thumbs found the soft peaks of his chest.

He rubbed slowly—teasing, firm.

Luffy gasped into the kiss, the sound muffled and needy. His back arched instinctively, pressing into the touch as a low, broken moan spilled out of him.

“Mnngh—Zoro…”

Zoro swallowed the sound, kissing harder, coaxing more out of him with every roll of his thumbs. The way Luffy responded—shameless, eager, honest—was nearly too much. His body trembled slightly in Zoro’s lap, mouth slackening as his breath caught.

Zoro broke the kiss, lips brushing Luffy’s jaw as he whispered against his skin, voice rough and low. “You seem to like it here too.”

Luffy nodded fast, panting. “Yeah… yeah—feels funny. But—good. Really good…”

Zoro pressed his mouth to the base of Luffy’s throat, tasting the heat there—then began to trail lower, tongue dragging deliberately down the line of his chest.

He paused at the first nipple.

Then, without warning, he sucked—slow and deep, lips sealing around the soft peak.

Luffy cried out, body jolting, legs clamping tighter on Zoro’s waist as his back arched off the bed. “Ah—Zoro!”

Zoro didn’t stop. His tongue flicked firmly over the sensitive bud, then circled it before pulling with a firm, wet suction that made Luffy keen.

Luffy’s fingers scrambled at his shoulders, digging in hard, his breath coming in sharp, stuttering gasps.

“God—why’s it—” he choked, trembling, “Why’s it feel that funny?”

Zoro hummed low against his chest, letting the vibration sink into the skin. He drew back just enough to let cool air kiss the wet trail he left—then closed in again, sucking even harder this time, with intent.

Luffy gasped, thighs quivering, the heat flooding through him so fast it made his head spin.

Zoro finally pulled off with a quiet pop, then kissed a path to the other side, already licking slow circles around the second nipple.

“You’re not gonna survive this, are you?” Zoro muttered against him, his voice low, amused, and hoarse with restraint.

“I—I am…!” Luffy gasped, burying his face into Zoro’s shoulder as he twitched in his lap. “You’re mean…”

But he was grinning—barely. Breathless. Dizzy. His hips kept rolling forward, chasing the drag of heat between them like instinct.

Zoro’s grip around his waist tightened. “You like it.”

“Shut up,” Luffy muttered, shivering, “and do it again.”

Zoro laughed under his breath—wrecked, fond, utterly undone.

And he obeyed.

He dipped his head again, lips latching onto Luffy’s other nipple—sucking harder this time, tongue flicking with sharp, deliberate precision.
Luffy twitched in his lap, a high, broken whine escaping him before he could stop it.

While his mouth worked, Zoro’s hands moved lower, fumbling at the waistband of Luffy’s shorts. With Luffy straddling him, he could only tug them down partway—just to the tops of his thighs, revealing flushed skin and far too much temptation.

Zoro pulled back, breath ragged, eyes dragging over the sight in front of him.

Luffy’s head rested heavily on his shoulder, body still trembling faintly. His tongue flicked out, playful and slow, dragging a wet stripe up Zoro’s neck.

Zoro hissed softly through his teeth. “It’s gonna feel weird,” he muttered, reaching to grab the bottle.

He popped the cap and squeezed a line of clear, cool gel onto his fingers.

Luffy blinked up at him, dazed but trusting. “Ah? Okay…”

His voice was loose, unguarded, as if he was letting Zoro carry the moment entirely.

Zoro exhaled, fingers glistening, heartbeat pounding somewhere high in his throat. He adjusted his grip on Luffy’s hips and shifted his other hand lower—beneath, between—until his slick fingertips brushed against the soft, hidden skin.

Luffy flinched, sucking in a sharp breath.

“Cold,” he mumbled.

“Just a little,” Zoro said. His fingers pressed in slow—just enough to test, to let Luffy adjust.

Luffy clung to him, forehead resting against his neck, his body tense but open. Every shallow breath tickled Zoro’s skin.

Then Zoro pushed his fingers in fully—slow and steady—until the heat wrapped tight around them, unfamiliar and overwhelming.

Luffy let out a heavy exhale. “Weird indeed…”

Zoro’s brow furrowed slightly. His free hand kept Luffy steady at the waist as he shifted his fingers deeper, curling them just enough to search. “I heard there’s a spot that’s supposed to feel good,” he muttered, half under his breath.

“Like what kinda—?”

Luffy’s question cut off abruptly with a sharp, startled sound.

His whole body jerked.

Zoro froze. “That?”

Luffy pulled back just enough to look at him, eyes wide, breath caught in his throat. “W–what? That—that doubled the weirdness…”

But before he could make sense of it, Zoro’s fingers moved again—pressing, curling, scratching against that same spot with careful precision.

Luffy twitched hard, a stifled yelp catching in his throat as his hips jerked involuntarily. His whole body squirmed in Zoro’s lap, legs tensing as he instinctively pressed forward—closer into Zoro’s chest, trying to escape the overwhelming sensation behind him.

It didn’t help.

“Shit—Zoro—what are you—?!”

Zoro didn’t reply. He was too focused on the way Luffy squirmed in his lap, how his body clenched and fluttered around his fingers, every breath every helpless sounds. His hand moved rougher now—faster, more deliberate, chasing every twitch and jolt he could pull from him.

Zoro then scissored his fingers gently, stretching him open in measured rhythm. The resistance, the heat, it was overwhelming. And Luffy—Luffy with his flushed cheeks and wide, confused eyes and body shaking with every subtle motion—was too much to bear.

“I-it’s kind of good…” Luffy mumbled into his shoulder, voice dazed, like he was only half-aware of the words spilling from his mouth. “Weird. Good. Still weird…”

Zoro’s jaw tensed. He curled his fingers again, brushing that spot once more, and Luffy gasped, tightening around him with a startled moan.

It was unbelievably hot.

Zoro gave a few more strokes, then slowly eased his fingers free.

Luffy let out a broken breath as Zoro’s fingers slipped free, his body twitching once at the sudden emptiness.

Zoro didn’t waste time. He shifted beneath him, quickly undoing the front of his pants, breath tight and heavy as the fabric fell away—relief and anticipation crashing together in his chest.

Luffy blinked down, eyes widening the moment he caught sight of him.

“Y-you’re… big,” Luffy said, voice small and a little dazed. He blinked down, then glanced up at Zoro with a furrowed brow. “How many sausages would that be? Like… three?”

Zoro stared at him. “What?”

Luffy looked genuinely concerned. “I just wanna visualize the damage.”

Zoro huffed a breath—half laugh, half disbelief—and reached up to brush the damp hair from Luffy’s forehead. His fingers lingered there a moment, softer than his expression.

“We’ll take it slow,” he said, voice lower now, more serious. “Tell me if it hurts.”

Luffy bit his lip, clearly still nervous—but his eyes were steady, and his grip on Zoro’s shoulders didn’t waver. “…Okay.”

Then, after a beat, he added under his breath, “But if I explode, I’m haunting you.”

He adjusted his hold, hands sliding down to cup the underside of Luffy’s ass—firm, steady, guiding him into place with quiet control. Luffy followed his lead, breath shaky, eyes wide..

There was trust in his body, even if it shook a little.

Zoro lined himself up and pressed forward slowly, gently—just enough for the tip to slip in.

Luffy hiccuped.

”Mngh— oh god!” Luffy gasped, clinging to Zoro’s shoulders like he was hanging off a cliff. “That’s not a sausage. That’s a whole salami—!”

Zoro almost died while still barely holding back a groan. “You said three sausages,” he played along. “I’m giving you one.”

He pushed in deeper, slow and controlled, but it was killing him—Luffy was hot and tight and gripping him like he never wanted to let go. A low moan escaped Zoro’s throat before he could stop it, rough and guttural.

“F-fuck,” he hissed, head dropping to Luffy’s shoulder. “You’re… damn…”

Luffy whimpered, his whole body twitching in his arms, hips rolling down instinctively as if chasing more without meaning to. “Ah…! So much!”

That did it.

Zoro gripped tighter—both hands locking around Luffy’s waist—and started to move. No more easing in. No more restraint.

The first thrust was shallow, but hard. The second followed fast.

Luffy jerked, a choked moan escaping as Zoro’s hips snapped up again, the sharp slap of skin on skin echoing hot and obscene in the haze between them. Each thrust struck something deep—that spot—again and again, sending sparks through Luffy’s spine.

“Z-Zoro!” he gasped, nails raking down Zoro’s back, legs tightening around his hips. “You’re—nngh—too fast!”

“Does it hurt?” Zoro asked, voice rough, wrecked, his lips dragging along Luffy’s jaw.

“No, but—!”

“Then that’s great,” Zoro cut in, breath ragged. “You feel too fucking good.”

He found a rhythm—sharp, deep, relentless—and drove into him with purpose. Every stroke pulled a new sound from Luffy’s throat, broken and breathless, rising in pitch with each thrust.

It was messy. Their bodies moved with urgency, slick and frantic, sweat gathering at Zoro’s brow, running down his spine. Luffy’s skin burned beneath his hands—hot, trembling, alive.

Luffy clung to him like he’d fall apart otherwise, arms wrapped tight around Zoro’s neck, forehead pressed against his temple.

“Too—ahh!—too full—!” he cried, hips bucking, voice tearing loose. “But—ngh!—it’s so good! I can’t—!”

Zoro groaned deep in his chest, thrusts growing rougher, needier, every breath trembling against Luffy’s ear. “You can. You’re taking it. So fucking well.”

Luffy whimpered, his whole body locking down around Zoro as that pressure inside him built—higher, tighter, unbearable. His toes curled. His voice cracked.

“Z-Zoro—I’m—I think I’m gonna—!”

“Do it,” Zoro panted, thrusting hard enough to make the bed creak.

And with one more perfect grind against that spot, Luffy shattered—his cry sharp and wrecked, body seizing in Zoro’s arms.

Luffy clenched hard, heat pulsing around Zoro in tight, rhythmic waves. His cry echoed hot against Zoro’s ear, and the sensation of him coming undone like that—wrapped around him, trembling, trusting—sent Zoro over the edge.

Zoro let out a sharp, broken moan, the rhythm of his thrusts faltering as his release slammed into him—fast, violent, impossible to hold back. His hips snapped forward one last time, burying deep as his orgasm tore through him.

“Luffy—!”

His whole body seized.

And Luffy moaned—low, breathy, wrecked from the overstimulation—but unmistakably wanting as he felt Zoro release inside him. His fingers twitched against Zoro’s back, pulling him closer, chest rising and falling fast.

“Aah—Zoro… nnnhh…” he whimpered, the heat of it, the fullness, drawing another wave of sensation through his already-spent body. “It’s so warm…”

Zoro groaned again, helpless, his mouth brushing Luffy’s damp neck as he spilled every last drop inside him, shuddering against the tight, pulsing grip still holding him in.

His muscles finally gave out, the tension unwinding from his back as he sagged forward, arms still locked tightly around Luffy’s trembling body. Every heartbeat felt too loud, too close. Their skin stuck together, sweat cooling in the air, breath mingling in short, uneven gasps.

Luffy whimpered softly, a half-laugh, half-moan caught in his throat. “You’re heavy… I need you to pull out, Zoro.”

“Yeah.” Zoro’s voice was rough, almost hoarse. “I know.”

He took a shaky breath and let go, watching as Luffy slowly slid free, kneeling up on the bed. The motion made them both flinch—Zoro from the overstimulation, Luffy from the sudden shift inside.

The moment Luffy pulled away, he gasped—a quiet, sharp sound—his body twitching from the loss. A thick warmth followed, and he let out a soft, dazed whimper as it trickled down between his thighs.

Zoro caught his expression—eyes wide, dazed, mouth parted in something close to surprise.

“You okay?”

Luffy didn’t answer right away. His hand drifted down to his lower stomach, fingers brushing over the warm skin. “It feels… weird,” he muttered. “Like you’re still in there.”

Zoro’s lips twitched, a mix of guilt and something like pride flickering in his eyes. “You’re definitely not empty.”

Luffy made a face, sticking out his tongue. “Gross. I’m getting it out—shower time!”

He hopped off the bed, still wobbly on his legs, and padded toward the bathroom without a glance back.

Zoro exhaled through a crooked smile, dragging his pants halfway up before shouting, “Oi!! I’m coming too,” and following after him.

—————————

After cleaning up thoroughly—and spending longer in the shower than either of them would admit—they found themselves back where they’d started: sitting side by side at the low desk, working through what was left of their summer holiday homework.

Or at least, trying to.

Luffy was fidgety as hell.

He sat in a strange W position, both legs folded beside his thighs, torso leaning forward over his open workbook. But every few minutes, he’d squirm, shifting against the floor like something itched. Zoro didn’t even have to look to know what.

He pretended to focus on his math, pen scratching across the page, but his eyes kept flicking sideways.

Luffy wriggled again, letting out a tiny grunt and shifting in place.

Zoro cleared his throat. “Can you sit still for five minutes?”

“I am,” Luffy replied without looking up, already rocking side to side again. “My butt’s just weird.”

Zoro dragged a hand down his face. Yeah, he thought. I know.

It was stupid how hard it was to concentrate—especially after everything. His body still ached in places, his arms felt too aware of the fact that Luffy was right there, warm and still radiating heat like the memory of their bodies tangled hours ago hadn’t gone anywhere.

Zoro glanced at him again.

Luffy’s brow was furrowed like he was actually trying to solve something, pencil tapping against his lip. His shirt was rumpled, collar slightly stretched, and he had a faint red mark near his collarbone that Zoro absolutely knew he’d left.

Zoro quickly looked back at his paper.

Focus.
But Luffy squirmed and whined softly again.

Zoro exhaled, barely audible. “You’re gonna give me a complex.”

“Huh?”

“Nothing. Just—stop wiggling so much.”

“I’m trying!” Luffy huffed. “You put your dick there earlier, remember? It’s not gone gone yet.”

Zoro coughed, choking slightly on air. “God. Can you not say it like that?”

Luffy finally looked at him, blinking. “Why not? It’s true.”

“Alright, you need a distraction,” Zoro muttered, lifting an eyebrow.

Without waiting for a reply, he reached over and began rubbing slow, steady circles along Luffy’s back with the flat of his palm—gentle, rhythmic, almost absentminded.

Luffy melted almost instantly, tension leaking out of his shoulders. The touch was so quiet, so unexpectedly tender, it sent a soft flutter through his chest. It felt… loving. Warm in a way that made him ache.

His mind went completely blank—whatever scraps of homework left in front of him forgotten. All he could focus on was the steady weight of Zoro’s hand tracing over his spine, grounding him with each pass.

“I’m sleepy now…” Luffy mumbled, already halfway through a yawn.

He didn’t even get to finish it before Zoro abruptly pinched his nose, sharp and unceremonious.

“Oi—don’t fall asleep! Homework first!”

Luffy jerked with a squeak, swatting blindly at Zoro’s hand. “Mmggh! You jerk!”

Just as Zoro started to pull his hand away, Luffy suddenly leaned in and chomped down on the side of his thumb.

“The hell—?” Zoro flinched. “What is with you and biting and licking people like some kind of animal?”

He didn’t sound shocked anymore. Just tired.

Luffy’s cheeks puffed slightly around his thumb, eyes gleaming with mischief as he sucked on it for a moment before finally letting go with a quiet pop.

“I dunno,” he giggled. “Feels right.”

Zoro gave him a flat look. “You’re insane.”

Just a sigh and a shake of the head as he turned back to his half-finished page.

They both settled again—barely—trying to refocus on their homework, the summer heat still clinging to their skin, the scent of soap and sweat lingering faintly in the air.

And despite the math problems and grammar drills and occasional nose-pinches, one thing was certain:

This was, without a doubt, the best summer break ever.
