AU EXPLANATION:
We know demons are real and they eat people's souls, but what if they weren't the only ones? What if there was more to the Hunters than what meets the eyes?
❝ Sirens. ❞
Beautiful otherworldly, immortal beings that rule the waters. However, unlike what people believe, they are narcissistic creatures that care about themselves only. Not only that, but they also have a insatiable hunger for power.
They have dazzling voices, that just by hearing can make you snap. Sirens use their voices to attract humans, either to shore or their closest location, and steal their lives. The more humans you destroyed, the more powerful you are.
One secret concealed by these aquatic creatures is that the Hunters are usually sirens. Why though? Because, just like demons, they also want control over the humans. The only difference is that sirens aren't affected by the Honmoon and they live in the surface.
And the Huntrix girls are sirens. Dangerous ones. When singing, they steal the vitality of the fans, who are trapped in trances because of their voices. Why the vitality? Because things can live without souls, and demons are a great example of it, but they can't live without their vitality.
They are high ranked sirens, who have lived a long time. Just like Celine. In their "real" forms, they do not fight, they sing. Depending on the melody, it can destroy your eardrums or trap you in a trance.
Small explanation of what I'll work with:
This fic takes place after the events of the "Kpop Demon Hunters" movie.
The Saja Boys are alive, along with Jinu, and they are stuck in the human world with no means of going back to their lands. I'll just pretend that Gwi-Ma is dead after the main fight.
The boys only survived because they swapped places with other demons before getting slain, running away shortly after the whole Gwi-Ma incident.
Jinu is alive because Rumi "killed" Gwi-Ma, which saved him from burning down into ashes for good, and since he's an old ass demon he managed to heal himself after the Demon King's "death".
I think I'll make them have a comeback, or something like that.
I plan on making the first chapters about how the Saja Boys are considering their comeback and how they are watching/spying on Huntrix. I'll decide which songs they'll use later.
For the girls, I'm planning on using some songs from MLP Equestria Girls (coughs, the Dazzlings songs), Trolls 3 (Watch me Work, Sweet Dreams), Jentry Chau (Flame) and Helluva Boss (Klown B*tch).
I'm not sure if I'm going to make smut, since I'm bad at it, so I put the tag "eventual smut". Maybe I'll find a co-creator or something for that. Also don't think I'll make a huge character death so I won't put that tag, same thing with the non-con tag. It'll depend on the development of the fic.
I'm also taking ideas for the plot, so please tell me if you guys think of anything.
