BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
My beautiful blue orbs flutter open as I awaken to my alarm clock. I sigh drowsily, rolling over in my sleek silk sheets, languidly hitting the off button to my alarm.
“Ugh.” I groaning at the alarm sound. I sit up in bed, slowly coming to. Suddenly, I realize. ITS MY FIRST DAY OF VAMPIRE INSURANCE HIGH SCHOOL! AND I’M ALREADY LATE! I don't even know how I was accepted. Not only am I uninsured, but I'm also not a vampire at all! I'm a human!
In insurance world, you're either insured, uninsured, or run the insurance company. Uninsured people are treated like second-class citizens. There are also vampires, humans, and werewolves. Vampires are at the top of the hierarchy, werewolves being at the bottom. As an uninsured human, I'm pretty low on the food chain.
I'm interrupted from my thoughts by a voice from downstairs.
“Honey! Time to wake up for school! I made your favorite!” Says my bitch-ass mom. I hate her. She does nothing for me.
I groan in annoyance. The only thing I have to look forward to today is maybe joining the school cheer squad. I get out of bed, fully booty butt naked. My luscious curves accentuate my gleaming personality. I put my galaxy print jeggings on as well as my taco cat hoodie. The boys won't be able to resist me looking like this.
I put my gorgeous, 5-foot-long blonde hair into a tight Jojo Siwa-ass ponytail. I look in the mirror, my face looking naturally beautiful without makeup on.
I prance down the stairs, coming face to face with my whore of a mother.
“Y/N, sweetie, I made an angel cake for breakfast for you. I know how much you love angel cake.”
“SHUT THE FUCK UP MOM! YOU DONT KNOW ME!” I yell, angered at her assumption of my favorite food. It's true, but I don't appreciate it. I bare my teeth at her, hissing.
“Sweetie, you need to stop acting like a vampire. Its cultural appropriation.” She says with her bitch-ass voice.
I simply storm out of the kitchen, taking a piece of pre-buttered toast with me, grabbing my infinite space purse as well. I don't have time to eat her shitty cooking. I anime girl run down the street with the piece of toast in my mouth. I hope all the hot vampire boys see me, my luscious golden locks flowing in the wind.
It takes 2 whole hours of prancing to get to school because I live so far away. By the time I'm there, I'm not even sweating because I'm in perfect shape, my hair still luscious and perfect. In the front yard I'm completely surrounded by hot vampire guys and beautiful vampire girls. Not as beautiful as me, of course. My eyes wander to the center of the front yard. It’s a beautiful vampire. I swear I've seen him on tv. In one of those insurance ads. I've never had enough money for insurance because I keep buying silk bed sheets, but whatever.
“Hey, Y/N. How are you doing this fine morning?” Says a deep voice from beside me, snapping me out of my thoughts. It's my childhood friend Derek. He’s also a human though he’s actually insured, unlike me. He totally hasn't been pining over me since we were little. He’s too plain for me anyways.
“H-Hey, Derek. I’m doing just fine. A l-little nervous. It’s my first day at vampire insurance school, after all...” I respond, looking away from the smoking hot vampire across the school yard.
“Understandable. I wouldn't be surprised if you got eaten alive out there. Those guys are... pretty intense...” Derek warns me with a knowing smirk. He’s been at this school for a year longer than me. Why? He’s a year older than me.
Honestly, getting eaten alive by hot vampires doesn't seem too bad. Especially on my first day.
I look back to the sexy insurance vampire so close, but also so far away from me. I speak, my voice angelic and soft like usual.
“W-Who’s that guy? Red shirt, t-tan khakis?”
“Him? Oh, that's just Jake. Jake from State Farm. He’s kind of the king of the school. His family owns the richest insurance company in the city.” Derek responds, a displeased frown on his face. He obviously doesn't like Jake.
“Oh, w-wow...” I mutter out, my face going red at the thought of Jake. He’s even hotter not that I know he's rich. I'm tempted to walk over to him and introduce myself, but Derek stops me with a firm hand on my petite shoulder.
“Hold on. That girl next to him is Flo. His girlfriend. Her family owns the second biggest insurance company in the city. They don't exactly take kindly to humans like us.” Derek says with a growl. He’s always been protective of me.
I look to the girl next to the hot vampire that I didn't even notice before.
She had fluffly brown hair that barely touched her shoulders in soft wisps, and piercing blue eyes. She had so much makeup on you could barely see her face! She was wearing all white too. How ugly. What does Jake see in her?
“She l-looks like a b-bitch,” I mumble to myself, hoping Derek doesn't notice. I'm so nice, after all.
“Yeah. Shes not really nice to other girls. Especially not uninsured ones. I'd stay away from both of them if I were you.” He replies, ignoring my tone. I'm about to speak again but am interrupted by the bell. Rude ass bell. I should get to class anyways, I guess. I wouldn't want to have a bad rap on my first day of vampire insurance school after all.
“Th-thanks, Derek. See y-you later.” I tuck my hair behind my ear, turning away and walking to class. I actually have no idea where my first class is. Uh oh.
