Work Text:
Tall
He looks so tall
Curly Hair
Glasses
Exactly his type
The person Louis thinks is the most handsome man he's ever seen is standing in front of one of the library shelves, with two thick books under his arm while he examines another with his other hand, making it look so easy. Louis could get wet if he didn't have willpower and control over his body.
The guy is tall, too tall, making the shelf look less intimidating. His thick-framed glasses keep the color of his eyes hidden, but even if he tried, Louis couldn't see them; he's too far away for that, far enough to keep spying on him. He wears dress pants with an open long-sleeved shirt and another underneath that keeps his chest covered. His hair is curly, and his hands are big enough to hold an omega.
He’s too handsome, the type of handsome man you should never let go if you have him and Louis knows it and now wants him all for himself.

The next day, a small omega heads to the library with a mission: find out the name of that tall man... and to see him again, why not.
Once inside, he quickly checks the place, and when he doesn't see him anywhere, he takes a seat in a secluded spot but perfect for watching the door in case he comes in and perfect for seeing the other seats in case he's there. A disbelieving giggle escapes his lips as he realizes he found the perfect spot in the library, the library of all places, what a girl has to do to get a man.
Not just any man.
That's what he hopes.
When the alpha doesn't show up anywhere, Louis starts to get desperate. Some people start giving looks that try to be discreet but aren't, and that starts to make the omega uncomfortable. But maybe he looks ridiculous sitting in a spot in the library with his pink miniskirt and his big bag on the table, doing nothing but looking around.
Everyone must think he got stood up, how embarrassing.
After waiting a few more minutes, he decides to take matters into his own hands. When he spots a boy reading alone, he decides to go ask for help—he might know who that alpha is
With a smile, he approaches the guy who, upon hearing the sound of his heels against the floor, looks up to see him with a mix of surprise and confusion.
"Hi," his voice comes out soft but kind. "Can I sit for a moment? Sorry, I don't mean to interrupt—I just wanted to ask you a quick question, if that’s okay." When he sees the guy nod, Louis takes a seat and hears him whisper a quiet 'hi.'
"I hope you're having a great day..."
"Nicholas."
"Nicholas... Well, not to take up too much of your time, my question is if you might know a certain guy who I suppose comes here often." Louis looks at him hopefully, not wanting to give more information.
"Well, a lot of people come here often, but maybe I know him if you tell me what he looks like." The guy speaks kindly, giving Louis his full attention.
"Uh, he's tall, wears glasses... and has curly hair!" Louis says, and the guy looks at him, expecting more, but what else can he say? He only saw him yesterday, for goodness' sake.
"I know many people with those characteristics: Nate, Dylan, Jules, Harry."
"Okay, he- I don't know how to explain it, I saw him for the first time yesterday and couldn't see much because he was far away. How am I supposed to know who he is?" His voice comes out sad, adding a bit of drama at the end, hoping Nicholas will take pity on a poor and very pretty omega like Louis.
"Umm... you say you saw him yesterday?" Louis nods enthusiastically. "Well, yesterday in the library, I only saw Dylan and Harry who have the vague characteristics you mentioned. The difference is that Dylan has brown eyes and Harry has green eyes."
"Oh… how do you know all that?"
"Well, I worked with Harry on a photography project in our first term, and Dylan is my best friend." Louis lets out an 'oh' at the information.
“How will we know which one it is?” Louis watches Nicholas adjust his glasses, thinking.
“Are you sure you didn’t see his eyes?”
“I was too far away for that and had to leave quickly because… um, because I got called,” Louis says, averting his eyes.
“The only way to know is to see them both,” Nicholas says, looking towards the library entrance.
“How are we going to do that? He’s not even here,” Louis pouts, resting his arm on the table and his chin in the palm of his hand.
“Oh, they’re here, right in line to return books.” Louis turns his head so quickly he fears he might dislocate his neck, but indeed, the guy of his dreams (since yesterday) is standing there in line with several books under his arm.
“So, which one is it?”
Louis foolishly says with a smile adorning his lips, “The one with glasses.”
“What? They both have glasses.” Louis snaps out of his thoughts to see that, yes, behind the guy is another one, a little shorter but with curly hair and glasses.
“Oh, you’re right, it’s the one with the black hoodie,” Louis says, still staring at the guy, mesmerized.
“Oh my god, they both have black hoodies!”
“Sorry! but don’t yell at me, I’m just an omega, okay?” Nicholas facepalms and shakes his head.
“Oh, I know! It’s the one with the plans sticking out of his backpack,” Louis says, excited to find a visible difference between the two, even though they are very different in appearance. Louis’s guy looks like a greek god, while the other guy looks like a… guy. Don’t get him wrong, he’s not ugly, but Louis seems to have eyes for no one else.
“Finally! That would be Harry.” Louis smiles happily with the new information.
“Like Harry Potter,” he responds dreamily. Nicholas looks at him incredulously.
“What? Was that the first thing you thought when I said his name?”
“Oh no, you don’t want to know the first thing I thought.” Nicholas laughs at the hilarious omega.
“It’s true when they say you’re something else.” Louis nods foolishly, not paying real attention to anyone other than Harry. Harry, what a strong name, exactly as strong as its bearer. And Louis can’t wait to find out just how strong he can be.

"I think I'll go to the library today, I need some books for... um, a class," Louis and his two best friends were walking across campus towards Lou's cheerleading practice.
"Of course, for a class," the omega on his right, Olivia, giggled, and Robin on his left covered her smile with her hand.
Louis looked at them with an adorably furrowed brow.
"Sweetie, you've been to the library more than ten times this month, you're hiding something."
"Of course I haven't been more than 10 times and I'm not hiding anything" of course, he wasn't hiding anything, if he were, his voice would become higher and squeakier, which-
"Your voice is high and squeaky, you're lying." Louis looked at them with puppy eyes, caught in his lie. "But we're not going to pressure you to tell us something you're not ready to share," the alpha kissed his temple affectionately, and the omega snuggled up to her.
"I'm sorry," Louis' voice came out soft and sad. Both girls hugged the brown-haired omega affectionately. "There's nothing to apologize for, sweetie, you'll tell us when you're ready."
It's not that Louis doesn't trust his best friends, he always tells them everything, but what he's been doing for the past month embarrasses him a bit, and he hasn't found a way to say it. He just needs a little more time.
Once practice and the subsequent shower were over, the omega headed straight to the library. That place had become a regular stop over the past month, not because he needed any books or had to study as he had made his friends believe, but rather because of a certain curly-haired alpha.
Harry, the alpha of Louis's dreams as all we know, tall, green-eyed, dimpled smile, kind from what he had noticed, and certainly very shy and reserved.
The omega could clearly remember the first time he dared to talk to him…
The book he needed for his literature class - he really needed it - was located at the top of the library shelf where Louis was now standing on tiptoe trying to reach it, frustrated with the idiot who decided to make the shelves so high. The first time he really had to go to the library for a book and not to see a certain man, and he was having so many problems.
"Damn it, if this weren't so freaking high, I-" A presence and a hand grabbing the book he needed made him stop and turn around. Behind him stood an alpha with the most exquisite scent he had ever smelled: almonds and chocolate, a fragrance that smells like both autumn and winter at the same time. Louis could already see himself wrapped in that scent; he wanted it.
Harry, looking so handsome, and now finally face to face, Louis could notice just how tall he was. It was obvious he was strong and broad; his green eyes framed by thick black glasses, his hair a bit messy but seeming soft to the touch. He looked at Louis with both intensity and gentleness at the same time. Louis felt his knees tremble slightly.
"Hi," his voice came out in a whisper, feeling dizzy from the alpha's scent in front of him. Said alpha just blushed completely, stuttered a bit but couldn't say anything, and just left the place, leaving Louis with a book in his hand and a racing heart.
It didn't go as well as he had hoped.
But since that strange and adorable first meeting/talk, the omega hasn't stopped going to the library, hoping the alpha would come to talk to him. He has manifested in every possible way and nothing. Nicholas has told him to take it easy, but it's the first time an alpha has liked him this much; they can't blame him for being a desperate girl.
His silly omega stirs inside him every time he sees Harry, and his heart feels like a thousand butterflies flapping their wings when their eyes meet, which hasn't happened as much as Louis would like.
Although many might say Louis is a creepy stalker, he's not. He just goes to that place, reads a book (he doesn't), and leaves, and he only goes three times a week. He doesn't want the alpha to think he's weird or anything because he's not. He just wants Harry to talk to him, that's all.
And many might also say Louis should make the first move, but no, Louis already made the first move by saying 'Hi.' A girl can't humiliate herself twice, and he also feels a little afraid of not getting a response like the first time or not being pretty enough for Harry to like him. That scares him a bit more, to be honest.

"Is there any way you can stop thinking about Louis and focus on this assignment, Harry?" Niall, one of his best friends, says as his pen taps the table impatiently.
"Yeah, sorry," he quickly adds, "it's just that I can't stop thinking about him." His head hits the table dramatically while Jacob bursts out laughing and Niall throws the pen at his head.
"Yeah, we figured that out from your lost puppy eyes and the drool on your chin, idiot." Harry pouts at the harsh words.
"I can't blame him, have you seen him, Ni? That boy is something special," Jacob says just to tease his best friend since he has a girlfriend.
Harry growls at hearing Jacob talk about the omega like that, "Watch your mouth."
"I didn't say anything bad, idiot."
"Not something I like to hear from others either."
"Both of you are idiots," Niall hits both of them on the head with a book. Both silently apologize.
"Let's finish this assignment, and then Harry, you can talk all you want about your girl, and Jacob, you can tease him as much as you want, understood?" Both just nodded and started working.
It can be said that the only personality trait that has defined Harry in the last year is: being in love with Louis Tomlinson.
The first time he saw Louis was while looking for a parking spot on the first day of his new semester. The cheerleader was passing by, surrounded by other girls all dressed the same, but Harry's eyes could only see the pretty boy, who looked especially beautiful while smiling, his eyes crinkled and bright, his smile, and the way he moved his hands while talking. Harry had to suddenly brake his car, which gave him a strong jolt, but even so, his eyes didn't leave the boy until he entered the doors of a building. Since that moment, his mind can only return to him again and again.
The head cheerleader, as he discovered after talking about the boy with his friends, Louis, the name of the person who hasn't left his mind since then. He has attended basketball games just to see him; he's a bit lost for him.
Harry proudly admits it to everyone, which includes his friends, his mom, and his older sister, who mostly love hearing him talk about Louis. Actually, only his mom does; Gemma has loudly expressed her desire to bang Harry’s head against the table where Louis sits reading diligently three days a week in the library.
Falling in love with Louis for the few things he has been able to observe might be considered stupid and risky to others, but not to Harry, who fell for the pretty boy from the first glance.
۶ৎ𓂃𓈒
Being in the library every day isn't something Harry is passionate about, even though he loves reading; it's something he prefers to do in the tranquility of his own home. But when he sees the omega enter and take a seat at the same table as always, right across from him, he can’t help but feel that somehow it’s worth staying there just to see the pretty boy—even if only for a few minutes.
Louis, from where he is, can see Harry trying to hide the fact that he’s looking at him over the book he’s reading. Louis lets out a giggle, and Harry’s heart flutters in his chest at the sound—his alpha instinct urging him to get closer and hear that sweet noise again.Nervous, Harry grips his book tightly, feeling his glasses start to slip down the bridge of his nose. But he doesn’t care and keeps reading until, slowly, he looks up again to find the omega’s eyes still fixed on him.
They both look at each other from where they're sitting. Louis looks especially pretty today with his sweater a few sizes too big and his blushing face. His lips carry the sweetest and brightest smile Harry has ever seen, and he wants so much to approach but doesn't want to ruin it like the first time.
He adjusts his glasses and decides to immerse himself in his reading and not look up until he hears someone get up from their seat and leave. And so, another day passes, just watching the boy of his dreams while his heart keeps every little detail of him.

“Are you finally going to tell us about that alpha you’ve been hiding from us?”
“I- I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
The three girls were at Lou’s place, during their precious girls’ night. Robin had Vixie on her lap, Olivia and Louis were snuggled up in an improvised nest they had made while watching Brooklyn 99 at the request of the blue-eyed boy due to his obsession with police tv shows.
“Lou, you’ve had the brightest smile all day and your scent is sweeter than ever. You can’t tell me this isn’t because of an alpha.”
“It could be a beta.”
“You, queen of size, with a beta? Yeah, I don’t see that happening.”
Louis looked at both of them, offended. Obviously, he wasn’t a queen of size; he just liked men who knew how to handle him.
“I know we said we wouldn’t pressure you, but this is killing us, Lou. We want to know who has our girl shining so beautifully.”
Louis let out a resigned sigh. “Alright, well, there’s this alpha from the library.” Olivia giggled, and Robin said, “I knew it,” both paying close attention to what Louis was saying. “I like him a lot, my omega likes him a lot. His name is Harry, and he’s so cute, like the alpha of my dreams and I just go to the library to see him, even though we don’t talk—”
“What?” “You haven’t talked?” Both girls talked at the same time.
“No… well, I did, but he ran away when I said ‘hi’. I think he’s a bit shy or maybe just nervous,” he said casually, as if his chest didn’t tighten painfully every time he remembered that.
“Oh, baby,” both girls looked at him with sad eyes. “But then why were you so happy today?” The sparkle in Louis’s eyes reappeared at the memory.
“Well, today he looked at me and smiled. I was hoping he’d come over, but it didn’t happen.”
“Oh, my girl is so in love.” Olivia, with the biggest smile, hugged him tightly. Robin had a thoughtful look.
“Harry? Like Harry Styles?” Louis nodded. “Hmm.”
“What’s up, Bibi?”
“Umm… Well, I heard from someone in my photography class that a close friend of Harry said he is interested in someone.” The sparkle in the omega’s eyes disappeared, and his face grew sad. “Sweetie, I’m not saying this to make you feel sad. It’s not certain, just something I heard. It might be a lie or a misunderstanding,” Robin said, alarmed, trying to fix things.
“Maybe that’s why he doesn’t want to talk to me. Oh my god, I’m so dumb,” Louis said, truly feeling a bit foolish for chasing after an alpha who might already have someone in mind.
“I don’t think it’s true, Lou. You know how people in my class are; sometimes they talk just to talk and are very gossipy,” Robin said, thinking about whether what she heard could be true.
“We’re gossipy too,” Louis said sadly.
“Yes, but in moderation.” Olivia hugged Louis from behind, resting her head on the omega’s shoulder.
“Do you know who it could be?” Louis asked again, hoping with all his heart that it wasn’t true.
“Babe, it’s most likely not true. Don’t get sad, okay?” Louis nodded with a pout, feeling sad.
“Oh,” Olivia said, having an idea. “Maybe that person is you.” Louis looked at her confused. “It makes perfect sense, Lou. Look, you say he looks at you a lot, an obvious sign that he is interested in you. You also said he ran away when you talked to him, an obvious sign of nervousness. And you said he’s shy, which tells us… that a shy nerd likes you!” When Olivia explained it like that, it seemed to make perfect sense to Louis, but the little omega didn’t want to get his hopes up too much.
“I don’t know, Liv. Maybe he just wants to be my friend? Or, I don’t know, join the cheerleaders?” Both girls laughed at the last part.
“Sure, so he can hold you and throw you in the air and handle your little body,” Olivia said with a mischievous smile while her hands pinched the omega’s waist, making him giggle in the process.
“Stop, no, I’m being serious here. Why would he like someone he doesn’t know?”
“Sweetie, practically all the alphas on campus like you,” Robin said, laughing at her friends’ antics. “And betas,” Olivia added, and Robin nodded. “And some omegas, I must add. But the point is, if Harry doesn’t like you, it’s because he’s a blind idiot.”
Louis pouted, “Don’t call him that.”
“Oh my god, babe, you’re already defending him and he’s not even your alpha yet.” Louis hid his blushing face in a pillow.
“Ugh, I want him so bad.”
“Calm down, Lou. Let’s think about what you can do to have him.”
۶ৎ𓂃𓈒
His omega (not his) is a vision, just like that time he saw him in the library trying to reach a book. Their pretty skirt shows off their soft thighs as they stand on tiptoe, their top accentuating their waist, the most sinful sight. Harry could leave a trail of drool on his way to help the omega.
He can’t just watch him try to reach a book (even though he loves seeing him do it), knowing he could get it down for him. Though nervous, he decides to walk over to the omega.
The tall shelf tactic has to work again, Louis thinks as he keeps stretching on tiptoe, trying to reach a book from a section he doesn’t even know. And it definitely works when he feels the alpha behind him, the same scent he’s been trying to smell again.
"Here," the deep, rough voice makes his thighs tremble as he turns to face the alpha.
“Hi,” the omega’s voice comes out soft, eyes fixed on the green ones. The alpha’s pink cheeks make him smile, adorable.
“Umm… H-hello.”
“Are you not leaving today?” Harry, if possible, turns even redder and more nervous.
Even though he wants with all his heart to say more than just “hi” to the omega of his dreams, his useless feet only carry him straight to the exit. Again. Damn it.
When Harry realizes he’s already in his car, he’s still holding the boy’s book in his hands, cursing himself for wasting yet another chance to talk to Louis.
۶ৎ𓂃𓈒
Seeing him leave for the second time should discourage an omega, but not Louis, who is indeed sad, but that doesn't take away the fact that this time Harry was able to respond to his ‘hi’. Progress is progress.
Louis smiles, excited about the future. Today he managed to get a 'hi' from him; maybe tomorrow he can get an 'I love you.' Who knows, an omega can dream.
He decides to go home, until he sees Nic in his usual spot. With quick steps and the librarian's gaze glued to his back, he approaches his new friend.
"Hey Nic," Louis greets cheerfully, sitting next to him.
"Hi Louis, how are you?" Nicholas, as polite as ever, asks, closing the book in his hands and giving his full attention to the interesting omega.
"Oh, wonderfully," Louis rests his elbows on the table in front of him, and his chin ends up resting in the palm of his hands, his bright eyes softening the alpha in front of him.
"Can I know why?"
"Yes!" his voice comes out excited, "I talked to Harry today," Louis whispers as if it were a secret between them.
"Oh, I saw it."
"You saw it?"
"Uh-huh, he seemed nervous when he left. What did you two talk about?" Nicholas asks, remembering how he saw Harry walk in, go straight to Louis, and then leave like he was being chased.
"Nothing, we didn't really talk. He just responded to my 'hi' with a 'hello,' and when I asked if he wouldn't run away like last time… he did exactly that, he ran away." He can't deny that he's sad about it because he is.
"Oh, I'm sorry, Louis." Louis waves his hand dismissively.
"It's okay, baby steps. I'm okay with that, I can wait." Nicholas looks at him incredulously. "Well, I'm not okay with baby steps, but I don't want to rush anything either."
"I understand."
"Umm... but there's also the possibility that I'm simply not his type of girl." Nic laughs at that.
"You're everyone's type, Lou."
"I'm not your type."
"No, because my type is very similar to your type." Louis nods at that but then looks at him with a furrowed brow.
"Hey!, that nervous, shy and silly alpha is mine."
"I'm not talking about Harry, I'm talking about alphas in general." Nicholas rolls his eyes. "I don't want a nerd; I'm already one. I like a different type of alpha."
"Who?" Louis asks quickly, forgetting why he was sad and now only wanting to play cupid for his friend.
"I won't tell you who."
"No?" Nic shakes his head. "Not even to my pretty eyes?" Louis looks at him with big, shiny eyes.
"Damn it, you always get your way, don't you?" Louis nods enthusiastically.
When Nicholas tells him that the person he likes is his best friend, Louis lets out a scream so loud that the librarian ends up kicking them out of the place.

Life went on and time passed, actually only a week passed, but it felt like an eternity for a small boy desperate to have an interaction with his alpha. It shouldn't be so difficult, and anyone else would have given up from the start because no one should have to try so hard for an interaction. But not Louis. The little omega wasn’t the type to give up at the first sign of difficulty.. Even if it takes a lifetime, he will get more than a 'hi' from Harry.
A week after his second failed interaction, Louis did more than just visit the library. He went to the spa with his best friends, got his nails done, and went shopping, a busy routine that still included his visits to the library where Nic joined him, which meant he no longer looked like a weirdo who only went there to stare at an alpha. A definite win for Louis
Louis felt confident; he has had this unshakable faith that today is the day for another interaction that can go very well or very badly. Hopefully, all the love fairies will be on his side today and it will go very well.
Louis sat at his usual table. Nic wouldn’t be coming today, so he was alone, waiting for Harry to appear, a calculus book open in front of him, trying to figure out how to solve those operations brought straight from hell to torture pretty omegas like Louis. His teacher asked them to solve the operations a week ago, so Nic has been trying to help, but the alpha is a person with limited patience, and Louis's countless questions exhaust him very quickly. Who would have imagined?
And now there he was, alone, fighting with his life and brain against those infernal problems.
Minutes later, he feels someone approaching his table, internally praying that Nic's patience has returned and it's him coming to help and explain the topic. But all he sees is a shadow rising over him and someone clearing their throat.
Harry.
The alpha looks a bit nervous, just standing there not saying anything or making a move. Louis offers him a soft smile, waiting for the alpha to speak first, but seeing that it's not going to happen, he does.
"Hi?"
"Hi, I- um well, first I wanted to apologize for, um, running away last time," Harry says, his voice evidently nervous, an adorable blush lighting up his cheeks.
"It's okay, you don't have to apologize," Louis said kindly, trying to reassure the alpha.
"Y-yes, I do. Besides being so rude, I took your book without even telling Mrs. Pops," he then adds, "Oh God, I didn't tell Mrs. Pops." Louis lets out a giggle at that.
"I don't think she noticed."
"Are you sure?" Louis nods with a pretty smile adorning his lips. Harry feels lost for a moment when he realizes he still has the book in his hands. "Here, I'm sorry for taking your book... and well, returning it after a week... That’s… really embarrassing.”
Louis giggles and takes the book from Harry's hands. "Thank you..."
"Harry. Harry Styles." Harry extends his hand in greeting to the pretty omega, holding the soft hand that Louis offers him.
"Louis Tomlinson."
"I know," he blurts out, a little too quickly. When he sees the confused look on Louis’s face, he rushes to correct himself. "Y-you're the head cheerleader." His stomach twists into a tight knot of nerves, and he can already feel the heat rising to his cheeks..
"Right, yes." Louis smiles and glances at the books Harry brought with him, though his thoughts aren’t exactly on the reading material.
"Were you going to study...?" Harry follows Louis’s gaze to the title of the book he returned just moments ago and frowns. "About 'The Discreet Charm of Insects'?" Louis's eyes widen at hearing the title. No one can't blame him; he didn't even want to read a book in the first place.
"Well... frogs are one of my favorites... so I wanted to know more about them." Harry lets out a discreet laugh, or at least tries to make it discreet. Louis feels a bit offended.
"Hey! Are you making fun of me?" Louis crosses his arms, but his eyes still have that mischievous sparkle that shows he's not really upset.
"I'm sorry, no one has ever told me that frogs are their favorite insect, just took me by surprise." Another laugh escapes Harry, this time more discreet.
"You are making fun of me!" Louis pouts, and Harry just softens at the sight, very adorable.
"I'm sorry, Louis. I won't laugh at your love for frogs again, I promise." He presses a hand to his heart, the teasing smile still playing on his lips.
"You're still making fun of me, but I'll let it slide because I'm a very kind person and don't want my fury to hurt you."
"Oh, thank you very much for your kindness, my queen. I will be forever grateful and now I am completely at your mercy." Harry continues the joke, even bowing, all to see the smile on the omega's face.
"Good, I'm glad to hear that because now I'm going to read to you about the charm of frogs. In my opinion, they are very charming." Louis looks at him with soft eyes while, with all the courage he could muster in his small body, he takes the alpha's big hand in his smaller ones and guides him to where he's sitting, hoping he will sit next to him. Harry can feel his pulse quicken at the touch of their hands and follows him, delighted by the action. If he were a dog, he'd be wagging his tail animatedly at the size difference of their hands.
When he's already sitting on the couch, Louis opens the book, having absolutely no idea what it’s about but he isn’t about to waste this opportunity to spend time with the alpha of his dreams. His calculus work is forgotten as he starts flipping through the pages, pretending to search for a section on frogs, without even knowing if one actually exists. Harry just looks at him, both enchanted and amused, seeing the omega frowning as he flips through the book's pages without even reading the chapter titles.
"You've never read that book, have you?" Harry asks. Louis looks at him with puppy eyes. The truth was, he had never read a book that hadn't been assigned by a teacher, but he won't tell the alpha that; he doesn't want to seem like an uneducated fool.
"You took it off the shelf for me, Harry. It's obvious I've never read it." The omega let out a nervous giggle, still flipping through the pages, desperately pretending to look for the section about frogs until Harry takes the book in his hands and starts looking at the index. Of course, the index.
"Um, apparently nothing about your favorite insect," Harry said, then added, with an awkward chuckle, "maybe because frogs aren't insects." The omega's face turned every shade of red and pink as he quickly averted his gaze, focusing instead on his hands in his lap.
How was he supposed to know that frogs aren't insects?
Now Harry probably thought he was a fool. He should start running away. To hell with that alpha; he just lost his dignity. He doesn't want to know anything about Harry or any alpha ever again. It's over, no more alphas in his life, only Robin. Maybe Bibi will agree to marry him and...
His dramatic spiral was cut short by Harry’s voice.
"H-hey, I'm sorry. I didn't mean it like that. You don't have to be embarrassed." Harry looked mortified. He feels like the biggest idiot. How could he correct the omega like that? It was a harmless mistake, most people didn’t spend their time memorizing taxonomic classifications. Harry is willing to apologize for his whole life if necessary. The first time he talks to the omega of his dreams for more than two words, and he messes it up again. "I- I really am sorry. If you don't want me here, I can leave." His voice was small, unsure. He looked around for his bag, hands fumbling. He didn’t want to go, but he also couldn’t bear the idea of making Louis feel any worse.
"And how was I supposed to know frogs weren’t insects! Louis huffed, crossing his arms over his chest. “It's obvious I'm not that smart," his voice ends in a soft whisper.
Harry’s heart clenched.
"O-oh God, don't say that. Of course, you're smart. I really am sorry." Harry said quickly, his voice full of urgency and regret. Harry feels like the biggest fool to ever walk the planet.
"Do you really think so?" Louis asks, still a bit embarrassed.
"I- yes, yes, I promise."
Louis couldn’t help but giggle at how nervous the alpha still looked. The sound made Harry’s heart race in the best way. "I was just teasing you." Harry visibly relaxed, the tension in his shoulders easing. This omega was a menace, adorable, dangerous, and completely disarming. A very pretty threat.
"So, it's obvious insects aren't your area of expertise," his voice shows how interested he is in getting to know the omega. "What is?" Harry wasn't going to let his nerves get the better of him; he wanted to know everything about this precious omega.
"Obviously not. I don't know why I was trying to grab that book," he does know, "although I wouldn't mind being Princess Tiana if my frog turned into a handsome prince after a kiss from me," he says, looking directly into the alpha's eyes, making Harry's face turn all shades of red. "And I'm studying to be a teacher for kids." The sparkle in his eyes shows Harry how much Louis loves his career.
"It's a very beautiful career, and I think you'd be the prettiest princess of all." The last part slips out without thinking. His mind is already lost in the idea of being his Princess Tiana’s frog and nothing else.
The omega blushes and hides his smile in his hand, whispering a ‘thank you’ to the alpha. He loves compliments. "What are you studying, Harry?"
"Architecture."
“Oh that's a great career” Louis thought for a moment before adding "So... you know a lot about numbers and calculations and stuff?" Louis asks, having a wonderful idea to keep this alpha in his life.
"Yes, something like that."
"Well... Tell me if this is too much to ask but I'm at that point in my career where I need to know a lot about calculus, and honestly, I'm not the smartest with numbers and I don't know if it's too much to ask since we barely know each other, but if there's a tiny, tiny chance you'd want to tutor me so I can pass that dreadful subject, would you? I could pay you and—"
Harry stops him right there as the omega starts to ramble. This was literally his golden opportunity. He could help the omega of his dreams, be his knight in shining armor, and then -eventually- his boyfriend, alpha, and husband. Of course, he would be his tutor. There's no damn way he wouldn't.
"Of course, I can tutor you, and you don't have to pay me anything, Louis. I'd be happy to do it." Harry smiles softly at the omega.
"Oh no, I’d be so embarrassed not to pay you, Harry. That would feel so rude. You’re going to spend your time on me, and I wouldn’t be giving anything in return.”
"It's not a waste. You don't have to pay me. My reward will be seeing you pass with an excellent grade."
"Don't have too much faith in me. I already told you I'm terrible at that subject." Louis pouts.
"Of course not. I'm sure you're very smart and you’ll understand everything very quickly."
"Thank you, Harry." Louis gives him his biggest, softest smile, cheeks tinged with a rosy blush. The warmth in his expression makes Harry’s heart skip a beat.
"What days are you available to start?" Harry asks, eager to begin this new excuse to spend time with him.
"Oh no, Harry, besides not letting me pay you, now I'm going to impose my days too? No way, you decide, and I'll see how I manage."
"Lou, I can literally do any day, but I know there are days you have cheerleading practice. It's better to adapt to your schedule so you don't have any inconveniences," Harry says gently, and Louis can only melt at the alpha's kindness. He knew he hadn't made a mistake in choosing his alpha.
"Well, if you insist." Louis smiles sweetly, and Harry smiles back at how adorable he is. They agree on three study days per week, always after Louis’s cheer practice.
After settling their plan, the conversation flows effortlessly into other things: their respective careers, childhood dreams, favorite teachers, and silly anecdotes. Neither feels the pressure to impress or hold back. The new friendship doesn't feel forced or awkward in any way. Both alpha and omega feel they can talk to each other about anything without any problem.
Harry felt very confident and comfortable, no one apart from his friends and family had made him feel like he could talk without fear, had always been a little shy but Louis makes him feel like he can talk about anything.
"I think I should go now, it's very late," Louis murmurs, checking the time on his phone and seeing several messages from his friends lighting up the screen.
He hesitates a little before adding, "Can I have your number, Harry? I'd love to keep talking to you and, well, obviously for the tutoring," the omega smiles shyly.
Harry nods enthusiastically, his heart practically dancing in his chest. "Of course," he says, and his blush mirrors Louis’s from earlier. They exchange numbers, fingers brushing briefly in the process, sending a tiny jolt of electricity between them. Then, side by side, they walk toward the university’s exit, steps light, spirits lighter.
"Do you want me to take you home?"
"I can call an Uber, I don't want to be a bother." Louis replies, fiddling nervously with the strap of his bag.
"No , you are not a bother, let's go to the parking lot." Once both are in the alpha's car, the conversation picks up again light, easy, and filled with laughter until the omega lets out the most adorable yawn Harry has ever heard.
Harry, being the gentleman his mother raised, drops Louis off at the door of his building.
"Goodbye, Harry. Thanks for bringing me home." Louis says softly, hesitating at the door.
"Goodbye, Louis." Seeing that Harry doesn't plan to make a move, Louis decides to do it and stands on tiptoe to kiss the alpha's cheek before hurriedly entering the building with a smile on his face.
Harry stays frozen for a second, stunned by the warmth still lingering on his cheek. Inside, his alpha side is wagging its tail like an overexcited pup. His heart is fluttering, thudding joyfully against his ribs, and his face is on fire. With the silliest smile imaginable, he walks back to his car and drives home.
The best day ever.
۶ৎ𓂃𓈒
Louis walks through the university parking lot on his way to class when he sees Harry getting out of his car. Without a second thought, he runs toward the alpha. The charms on his bag jingle with each step he takes towards Harry, which makes the guy turn around to see where the sound is coming from. When he sees it's just Louis, he smiles calmly.
The omega stands in front of him with a bright smile on his face. "Hi, Harry."
"Hi, Louis. How are you?" Harry replies, his voice warm but still tinged with that nervousness that never quite seems to leave him around the omega, despite how easy everything felt between them yesterday.
"Good, I slept very well last night," Louis says excitedly, waiting for Harry to finish what he's doing in the car.
"Really?" Harry asks as he finishes getting his class materials and locks his car, now fully paying attention to Louis. His gaze drifts to the pretty outfit Louis is wearing today: a baby pink long-sleeved shirt fitted to his body, paired with a black skirt, and heels. Gorgeous.
"Yes! It was the best night ever." Louis beams, slipping his arm around Harry’s as they begin walking toward the building together.
Harry tenses slightly at first, surprised by the casual intimacy. He hadn’t expected Louis to want to be seen with him, not publicly, not like this. But Louis seems entirely unbothered, chatting animatedly about his dreams and how rested he feels.
"Are you paying attention to me, Harry?"
"Y-yes, sorry” Harry stammers, caught off guard, his cheeks flushing as he offers a nervous smile “what were you saying?"
"I was just telling you how Vixie tried to eat my favorite plushie," Louis pouts at the memory.
"Who's Vixie?"
"Oh, Vixie is my cat, the best girl in the world. She's so cute. Look, I'll show you pictures of her." Louis pulls out his phone eagerly and starts flipping through his photo gallery. Harry leans in, smiling as he looks at photo after photo of a fluffy white cat with soft gray spots and striking blue eyes, caught in all sorts of funny and adorable poses.
"She's very cute." Harry says genuinely.
"Yes, she's my little angel," Louis smiles happily. "Although many might disagree, don't listen to them. My baby is nothing but an angel."
Harry smiles, "I believe it." Louis continues to talk animatedly about Vixie and then branches into other topics, random stories, tiny details about his morning, things he finds interesting. Harry listens quietly, completely enchanted.
As they round a corner, Harry spots the coffee shop "Do you want a coffee? I was just heading there before class," Harry asks nervously about the possible response.
"Yes! But I prefer tea." Louis holds Harry's elbow again and together they walk toward the place.
Once they both have their respective drinks, Harry drops Louis off at his building. "See you, Louis."
"Yes, see you after class?" Harry looks confused. "Um, my tutoring?" Oh God, how embarrassing, Louis thinks internally.
"Oh yes, sorry” Harry says, scratching the back of his neck, “I thought we agreed on three times a week," Harry says, although his alpha wants to punch him for saying such nonsense.
"Yes, that's what we agreed on." Louis feels like the dumbest omega ever. Obviously, Harry doesn't want to spend all his afternoons teaching a dumb omega about calculus.
Harry quickly steps in, his voice softer now. "Hey, if you need to study today, I don't mind. We can do it," Harry says kindly, not understanding why Louis wanted to spend his afternoon in a tutoring session when he could go out with his friends.
"It's not necessary, Harry. You probably have other things to do. We can meet tomorrow." Louis offers a calm smile, careful not to let any trace of disappointment slip through. The last thing he wants is for Harry to think he’s clingy or needy.
"I have nothing to do today. If you need a review, I'm happy to help." Louis looks at him with a bit of doubt. "We can meet after your cheer practice okay?"
Louis hesitates but then nods. "Alright, but promise me I'm not taking up time you might want to spend with someone else." Harry smiles at that. How could he want to spend his time with someone else when he could spend it with Louis?
"I promise." Harry says, placing a hand dramatically over his heart like he’s swearing an oath, which makes Louis laugh at how silly the alpha can be sometimes.
"Okay, now go to class." Harry smiles at him once more and leaves.
Louis watches him go for a second, then finally enters his own classroom. As soon as he walks in, his eyes scan the room until they land on Olivia. He practically skips to her side and slides into the seat next to her.
"Hi, Lou," Olivia greets him, kissing his cheek. When she sees the happy smile on the other omega's face, she smiles playfully. "You’re glowing. Wouldn't it happen to be because of a certain alpha with glasses and a charmingly nerdy attitude?"
"Olivia! He's not a nerd," Louis says, playfully hitting his friend's shoulder.
"You know he is."
"Um, yes, a little, but he's adorably nerdy." A sigh escapes the cheerleader's lips.
"I knew it was because of him that you were so happy. Tell me everything." Olivia rests her head on her bag, leaning towards the omega, and Louis does the same, both looking at each other face to face.
"Yesterday was so nice.” Louis practically whispers the words, as if saying it too loudly might make the memory disappear. “We finally talked. I already told you on our call yesterday, but I don't care. It was so nice, and he's a bundle of nerves and shyness, like… painfully adorable."
He pauses, his eyes sparkling. “And I didn't realize how tall he was, but when he stood in front of me, oh my God Liv, he's so tall and looks so strong and huge. And then his cheeks were all pink, so cute, And his eyes? They're the greenest green I’ve ever seen. And those glasses? They make him look so hot. Like, unfairly hot.” He lets out another sigh, as if his heart can't handle it.
"And his voice it’s low, and deep, and thick, and measured , like every word he says actually matters. And and—"
"Okay, sweetie, breathe ," Olivia says, giggling as she reaches over to pat his cheek. "You're getting sidetracked. Focus. Tell me what you actually talked about yesterday. You were being too general, I want details ."
“Right, right. Okay” Louis says, trying to organize his thoughts.
"Well, we first talked about that stupid insect book, and I was so embarrassed, but it didn't matter because he was so sweet. And well, you know, I tried to flirt a bit with him because I wouldn't be me if I didn't try.”
Olivia nods, already knowing that this was something Louis would do.
"So I told him I wouldn’t mind being Princess Tiana if my frog turned into a handsome prince after a kiss from me..." Louis hides his face in his hands for a second listening to her friend's laughter in the background. "I know, I know, it sounds ridiculous. Don’t laugh, Liv!"
"I'm not laughing," Olivia says, laughing. "Continue continue.”
“I said it because he looks a little bit like a frog, just a tiny bit. And then he told me I’d be the prettiest princess of all. Liv, I nearly died. He blushed so hard after saying that. It was adorable."
Olivia lets out a dramatic squeal. "Stop it, I’m going to start rooting for the wedding already. Go on."
“We also talked about our careers, he told me he was studying architecture and I had the brilliant idea to ask him to tutor me in calculus." Olivia, who had been attentive to every word coming out of her best friend's lips, smiled excitedly at that.
"Oh my God, you're so smart. You're living a cliché, sweetie. I love it." Both laughed out loud at that, letting out squeals when a tall shadow loomed over them.
"Young ladies, you're in a class. If you want to attend the class properly, you can stay. If not, I'll kindly ask you to leave," the professor's voice made both of them pale and quickly settle into their respective seats. Once the professor turned around, they both looked at each other with a smile.
"You have to keep telling me everything after class with Bibi, or she'll hate us," Olivia whispers in his ear, to which Louis nods enthusiastically with a happy smile adorning his face.

After spending the entire lunch talking about Harry with Robin, Olivia, and Nic, who has joined their lunches at uni after introducing him to his best friends, Louis finally heads to the library to find Harry, who is already sitting reading at his usual table.
"Hi" Louis greets him, overly happy as he takes a seat and watches Harry adjust his glasses. God, how can something so simple make him look so hot?
"Hi, Louis," Harry greets with a smile, putting his book aside and focusing his attention on the boy next to him.
"You can call me Lou, we're friends now, right?"
"Yes, okay, Lou." Louis smiles happily at that. "How were your classes?"
"Boring. The professor yelled at Livi and me just for talking. We didn't even know he was already in the room. How rude. But it doesn't matter because we could keep chatting during lunch with Bibi and Nic."
"Are they your friends?" Louis nods enthusiastically at the question.
"Yes, my best friends. Actually, their names are Olivia, Robin and Nicholas, but I love giving people nicknames. We've been best friends with Olivia and Robin since high school, and they helped convince my parents to let me study in London with them. I didn't want to be separated from my girls, and now we're together, and I've only known Nic for a few weeks, but he's a great friend. Sorry, I'm rambling again." Louis stops when he feels he's talked too much. Many people have told him that sometimes his chatter can be too much. He doesn't believe it, but he doesn't want to push Harry away because of it.
"Don't apologize. It’s not too much for me. I like listening." That makes Louis relax instantly.
"If I'm not wrong, your friends Robin and Nicholas share the same photography course with me." The omega makes a surprised face, a fake surprised face because he already knew that information.
"What a small world." Harry nods. "So one of your talents is photography."
"Yes, I like it a lot." Harry says a bit shyly, still adjusting to their new friendship. Louis, realizing he’s not going to say anything else, changes the subject.
“So, are you ready to lose all your patience teaching me calculus?” the omega asks, a smile tugging at his lips as he pulls out his book.
“I don’t think you’re that bad at it.”
“Oh, sweet Harry, I’m the worst. And I’m not trying to put myself down, no, it’s just the truth, I’m terrible at that subject, and with numbers in general,” Louis says with a sheepish smile, trying to be as honest as possible.
“Lucky for you, I’m very patient,” Harry replies, glancing once more at the omega before looking back at Louis’s book.
“And very smart,” Louis adds, winking when he catches Harry looking at him again, clearly blushing.
Harry begins writing on a sheet of paper, explaining things step by step in a calm voice. Louis really tries. He makes an effort to follow along, but his eyes keep drifting toward Harry’s lips, the way he holds his pen, or how his eyebrows scrunch together slightly when he tries to come up with an easy example.
Louis gets distracted easily by handsome men, but he genuinely tries his best to understand because he really, really doesn’t want to repeat that hellish course.
The tutoring session flies by, at least in Louis’s opinion. He wishes they could spend even more time together, but if he stays too long, he’ll get home late—and Vix needs him, too. They say goodbye again at the door of Louis's building.
"See you tomorrow, Lou," Harry smiles at him from a step below, Louis still being a bit smaller, his eyes directly on Harry's lips.
"See you tomorrow, okay?" Harry nods at the question, excited about the opportunity to see the omega the next day, not noticing when Louis places his hands on his shoulders to give the alpha a kiss on the cheek, leaving him blushing and nervous on the steps of the building entrance.

After that, things only get better for both of them. Their meetings continue to be in the library, always at the same table tucked away in the quietest corner of the library while Harry spends half of their time together giving tutoring sessions and the other half is just Louis yapping about everything. Louis has learned more with him than with his teacher, although he can't help but get distracted by how hot the alpha looks explaining a complex topic as if it were nothing. The omega feels like kneeling right there.
Tutoring isn't all they do; they also talk a lot about anything. Louis opens up about his life in Doncaster, his parents, his 3-year-old twin brothers, Alex and Teo, who are the sweetest little alphas ever. He talks about how much he misses his family, how they call every weekend, and how his brothers love showing him the drawings they make at nursery. And Harry listens, really listens, soaking in every word, knowing just by the way Louis talks how deeply he loves them.
Harry tells him about his own family and how it's always been Anne, his mom, Gemma, and him. How his mom bakes the most delicious peach pie, what his older sister studies, and about his precious Golden named Balto, whom he named at 7 years old when it was his favorite movie. Louis coos, telling him how adorable that is and that he wants to meet the precious Balto. Harry promises to bring him so they can meet, arguing that the Golden will probably love Louis more than Harry himself.
Their daily meetings become something soft and expected. Every afternoon, Harry shows up with a hazelnut coffee for the omega, the same one Louis stole from him once and declared his new favorite. Louis rewards him with a kiss on the cheek each time, like it’s the most natural thing in the world and Harry just blushed every time.
Louis has also been giving things to the alpha, like a red pom pom keychain that now dangles from Harry’s bag and matches the one the omega has on his purse. Hello Kitty stickers have taken over Harry’s plain black phone case. Some days, one or two end up stuck to his hands or his cheek without him noticing. He doesn’t even mind. If anything, it makes him fall harder for the bright, lovely omega.
Now Harry is in his usual spot waiting for Louis, a random book on the table while he checks his phone. The omega is half an hour late, and that starts to worry him a bit until he gets a message.
Hi curls, my practice isn't over yet :( and I don't know how much longer it'll take, but if you want, you can come see me, and when I'm done, we can go eat something if you want 💕
Curls. The nickname makes him smile like an idiot.
He quickly writes his response and heads to Louis's practice. This would be the first time he sees him practice, and he's excited and a bit nervous too.
When he arrives, the first thing he sees is the omega being thrown by his team and doing a flip in the air before landing on his feet with his hands up. Harry is amazed and smiles happily, seeing how all of Louis's teammates congratulate him.
When Louis spots Harry in the stands, he beams and waves at him, cheeks flushed, hair slightly tousled from practice. Harry returns the smile, though a little shyly, as a few of the other cheerleaders glance up to see who’s caught their teammate’s attention.
Harry takes a seat at the top of the bleachers, watching Louis practice. The practice extends for another half hour until the coach lets them go. Louis runs to Harry and tells him he's going to take a shower, and then they can leave.
"That was amazing, Lou," is the first thing the alpha says when he sees the omega already showered and ready to go. They both start walking to the alpha's car.
"It's not that big of a deal," his voice comes out shy, and he sees the alpha looking at him indignantly.
"What do you mean it's not? It is.You do it like it’s nothing, like breathing. I couldn’t do that in a thousand years."
"Stop it, don't go on," Louis says, even more blushing, still not used to the compliments Harry gives him.
"Really the best thing I've seen." The omega is still blushing but with a happy smile on his face.
"You're such a fool." Louis mutters, while a smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
"If complimenting you makes me a fool, then I’ll be the biggest fool you’ve ever met." Pride seeps into his voice. He would be anything for this girl.
Louis shakes his head, still blushing and happy. His omega is spinning all over the place. He can't believe how happy Harry makes him with just a few words. He doesn't care either; he's happy, and that's all that matters.
With happy and nervous smiles, they both head to the car. Louis hadn't thought about what Robin said until now. Harry around him behaves like the sweetest alpha and is always saying nice things. In the time they've known each other, he hasn't mentioned having a girlfriend or dating anyone. Despite that, Robin might be right, and the alpha might be interested in someone. When they're not together, he often sees Harry with a very pretty omega. He tries not to give it importance, but the doubt itches at the back of his mind.
"Lou?"
He blinks "Yes?"
"I was asking where you want to go eat." Louis glances around, realizing they’ve been driving through central London and he hasn’t noticed a single thing.
"Um, you can choose. I don't know many good places around here," his voice comes out soft, his hands nervously playing with each other, his mind not stopping thinking about the possibility that Harry has a girlfriend.
"Alright, I know a good place nearby." Louis nods distractedly. "Is everything okay?" That would be the ideal moment for the omega to ask, but the possibility of the answer being yes terrifies him.
"Yes, everything's fine. I'm just thinking about some things for my class, don't worry."
"If you need anything, you just have to tell me, you know that, right?" Louis nods.
Harry still sees him a bit worried. In the short time he's known the omega, he's never been quiet and calm. He's always hyperactive, talking about anything non-stop, leaving Harry and his alpha completely enchanted. Louis is always a ball of sunshine wherever he goes, and now seeing him without his characteristic smile worries Harry more than he can admit.
Even though the place Harry took them to was fantastic and the food was delicious, Louis's mood didn't improve, and consequently, Harry started to feel his alpha getting upset for not knowing what was wrong with the omega. His best jokes didn't work, his questions about whether everything was okay always got the same empty answers. He didn't know what else to do to make him feel better.
"Let's take you home, Lou." The omega's eyes looked at him sadly. They had both finished eating, and Harry could see that the omega was tired. The best thing would be to take him home so he could rest. His cheerleading practice looked very exhausting; that must be what's going on.
The omega's head was a mess, and hearing Harry say he was going to take him home, combined with his tired voice, only made him feel worse. He had done nothing but stare at his food while his mind wandered through millions of possibilities, each ending with a broken heart. He couldn't even laugh at Harry's jokes. He had felt the alpha’s sad gaze on him all evening, so when Harry said he’d take him home, he could only nod.
The drive to the omega's home was silent once again. When they arrived, Louis whispered a 'thank you' and got out of the car, hurrying into his building.
No kiss for Harry tonight.
Harry's alpha howled sadly at that.
When Louis got to his apartment, the first thing he did was take a shower and put on his pajamas. Going to sleep in his nest sounded like the best idea ever, so with his phone in hand and Vixie following closely, he went to the closet where his nest was. As soon as he lay down, he could feel the weight of the day settle on him. His omega was still sad, and Louis couldn't bring himself to feel any better. He just opted to respond to his friends' messages and go to sleep, hoping everything would disappear by tomorrow and that Harry wouldn't hate him.
۶ৎ𓂃𓈒
When Harry arrives at the university the next day, the first thing he does is go to Louis's building and find his classroom, something they shared time ago. When he arrives, he asks a beta which seat belongs to the omega, and once he finds it, he leaves something for Louis, hoping he is one of those people who always sit in the same spot during class.
Louis, on the other hand, hadn't slept much the night before. The thought that maybe Harry has a girlfriend and that all the sweet words and hugs weren't because he liked Louis, but were just acts of friendship, kept running through his head, making his chest ache and his omega curl up in his spot, sad.
Vixie stayed by his side all night, curled up beside him, purring just for the omega. Still, his sad aura never left him, and in the morning, he barely had time to get ready.
"Hi, sweetie. How did it go with Harry last night? You never told us," Olivia asked with enthusiasm that faded when she saw the omega's face. "Lou, did something bad happen?" Her worried voice made the omega throw his arms around her, seeking the comfort only his best friend could give. Olivia hugged him tightly, kissing his hair in the process.
"I ruined everything last night, Liv," he mumbled, his voice muffled in his best friend's chest. She kept holding him, gently rubbing his back.
"I don't think you ruined anything, Lou. That's impossible."
"I did. I spent the whole evening distracted, and Harry ended up so tired of me. He'll never want to see me again." Olivia kisses his forehead lovingly at the sadness in the omega's voice. She knows Louis has been in love with that alpha for a while, so it doesn't surprise her that the pretty omega's feelings are now bigger.
"Sweetie, I don't think Harry wants that."
"You didn't see his face, Liv. I messed everything up."
"Shh, you could never mess anything up. You're too perfect for that, and if he doesn't want to see you again, it's his loss, babe." Louis really wanted to believe her.
The two omegas stayed wrapped in each other’s arms until it was time to head to their first class of the day.
When Louis entered the classroom, he noticed the note on his usual seat, a small box next to the note making his heart race. Olivia's confused and intrigued look follows him as he takes the note to read it.
"Lou, I hope today is better. Last night I noticed you weren't feeling well, so I left you a cupcake to cheer you up. Something sweet for someone sweet. I hope you like it and that it tastes good because it's the first time I've made something like this. My mom helped a lot, so I trust it's good.
Have a nice day, Lou. I'll be waiting for you in the same place.
H x"
The butterflies in the omega’s stomach flutter like crazy, his cheeks feel warm, and the biggest smile adorns his sweet face. After all, Harry still wants to see him.
"Can I know what's going on?" Olivia asks, seeing the omega smiling at the note. Louis hands her the note while he picks up the box with the cupcake which has a slightly deformed heart in the center. Louis giggles at how adorable everything is.
"I told you he wouldn't get tired of you. He'd have to be crazy to let you go." Olivia gives him back the note, and Louis carefully puts it in his bag to keep it forever.
"Maybe I exaggerated a little."
"But you should ask him about what Bibi said," Olivia says, her tone more serious as they both take their seats.
"You think so?"
"Yes, think about it as if you were Harry's girlfriend and someone else was you right now. How would you feel?" Olivia was right. He and Harry had become very close over the time they’d known each other. Louis was always clinging to his arm, giving him hugs, and going out to eat with him. Harry had never said it bothered him, but that didn’t necessarily mean it was okay. If Harry did have a girlfriend, that would be awful.
"You're right, but I'm scared he'll say yes." Olivia just hugged him tightly.
"But he could also say no" Olivia said hugged him from the side, pressing their heads together while Louis eats his cupcake with many doubts in his pretty head.
After two long classes and an exhausting cheerleading practice, Louis went to find Harry at their usual table in the library. His omega was finally in a better mood. The note and cupcake the alpha had given him were the sweetest thing, making Louis feel like melting inside. Olivia didn't stop teasing him, and the smile never left his face.
When Harry sees the omega walk in, he can't help but smile, seeing him with red cheeks and his characteristic happy smile. Harry smiles shyly at him from where he's sitting, the nerves that have clung to him all day still fluttering in his chest. He hoped the gift wouldn't make Louis feel even more uncomfortable, but when he sees him run to where he is and throw himself into his arms, Harry just holds him tightly, all the nerves melting away. Louis is happy and comfortable again.
"Wow, I should bake more if I'm going to get such sweet hugs," Harry says while holding the omega against his chest.
"Thank you," Louis whispers softly against Harry's chest. "I'm sorry." Harry kisses his forehead, feeling lucky just to be able to do so. He gently lifts Louis’s face with his hand, taking in the blush on his pretty cheeks.
“You don’t have anything to be sorry for.”
"Yes, I do. I ruined everything yesterday." The words 'in our date' are on the tip of his tongue, but he doesn't say them, afraid of making things awkward.
"You didn't ruin anything. You weren't feeling well, and I should’ve noticed sooner. I'm sorry, Lou." Louis shakes his head and buries his face back into the alpha's strong, conforting chest.
"Don't apologize. You didn't do anything wrong." Harry is about to reply, but Louis cuts him off. "Actually, you did everything right. The place was so lovely, and the food was delicious," Louis whispers just for Harry to hear. "And your jokes were the best. I really appreciate how you tried to cheer me up and were always looking out for me." His voice becomes softer, taking on sad tones. "And today's note was so sweet, and the cupcake was delicious. Thank you, Haz." A kiss is placed on Harry's cheek, making the alpha blush.
"Can I ask… why were you feeling that way yesterday?" Harry asks, his arms still around Louis.
"I- well, I..."
"If you don't want to tell me, you don't have to."
"No, I want to. I'm just nervous." Louis takes a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves. "Yesterday, well, not yesterday, a while ago, Bibi told me about something she heard from someone else... about you."
"About me? What was it?" Harry instantly tenses. He knows the people in the photography course tend to be very complex, always looking for little things to make fun of him. He doesn't want them to have said something that would make the omega decide to stay away. Harry would hunt them down one by one.
"Well, she heard from someone that, well, you umm, you have a… girlfriend." The last word comes out in a small whisper, now feeling a bit embarrassed about it, thinking that Harry, of all people, would be hiding a girlfriend. God, he shouldn't have asked about any of this, but on the other hand, if he didn't ask, he would always have that little thorn of doubt.
"No," Harry’s voice is firm, his jaw clenched with irritation at the false rumor. He gently pushes Louis away from his chest, just enough to look at him. Louis lets out a small whimper at the sudden distance.
"I don't have a girlfriend, Louis. I would never hide something like that. Do you know who said that?" Louis shakes his head, still feeling embarrassed.
"I'm sorry, Harry. I shouldn't have asked or believed something like that," Louis says desperately, afraid that Harry will leave him there and go away.
"Don't apologize. You have nothing to be sorry for, pretty." Harry pulls him back into his arms. And the petnames thing is something new for him, he’s not used to using them out loud but he knows Louis loves them. That’s why he started calling him that, hoping it would bring comfort, even in moments like this.
"Is there a reason why that rumor made you feel so sad yesterday?"
"I wasn't sad! Just a little confused," Louis said, not feeling ready to share his real reason, not yet.
Harry just nodded and changed the subject, hoping the omega would forget whatever had made him sad. But Harry couldn’t forget it. The day went on, and that thought didn’t leave his mind, he was a little confused and happy to know that Louis had felt sad at the idea of him having a girlfriend.
۶ৎ𓂃𓈒
Harry doesn't stop after that.
The notes keep finding their way into the omega’s hands, the gifts keep making him smile, the hugs keep softening him, and the kisses on his forehead still make him blush. How can someone expect Harry to stop after that? Learning something new about Louis every day has become his favorite activity, and buying things exclusively for him has become a necessity.
Louis always plays with his rings when they're together, his head resting on Harry's chest, his hand on the omega's waist, simply talking about anything or in silence. They've spent much more time together, having lunch together when they can, and Harry goes with him to the team practices. Louis has the power to capture Harry's attention at every moment.
The bad thing is that Louis captures the attention of every alpha on campus without even trying and Harry has started to feel a little grumpy about it.
Hungry looks stick to the movement of his skirt, every alpha he talks to becomes a fool for him. Everyone wants a piece of the omega, and that messes with Harry all the damn time.
Right now, Louis is laughing softly with the team captain.
Practice had gone as usual, with Harry's eyes glued to every move and twirl the boy made, so he doesn't know when it happened that Louis was laughing with Fred more than necessary. Fred leaned a bit towards Louis, who looked relaxed, his laughter filling the air like chimes. Harry gritted his teeth from where he was, his hands forming fists on his knees.
He knew he had no right to feel this way. They’re not dating, he hasn't even told Louis how he really feels. But still, seeing Louis laughing like that with someone else, looking so carefree and comfortable, it’s driving him out of his mind.
And when Louis reaches out and gently places a hand on Fred’s arm while they continue chatting, Harry feels his patience reaching its limit.
"Hey, hey, where are you going?" Jacob, his best friend who’d been with him throughout practice, stops him as soon as he sees where this is heading. "You can't just go over there and interrupt their conversation, Harry."
"I know, it’s just—" A growl escapes his chest, frustration clawing at his insides. Feeling cornered, he huffs and sits back down, though his eyes never leave the cheerleader.
"Um, little Harry is jealous," Jacob's annoying voice fills the place, making Harry blush and look away to another spot where the pretty boy and his stupid best friend aren't.
Jacob lets out a laugh. "I can't believe you're jealous." Harry rolls his eyes. "I've never seen you jealous. This is so funny. The cheerleader’s got you wrapped around his little finger.”
"Shut up."
“I mean, I can't blame you, though? That omega is too pretty.” Harry lets out a frustrated growl, which only earns another cackle from his best friend. "I never thought I'd see you like this. Studying was all you did."
"It still is."
"Of course not. Louis is all you do now. Don't deny it. I’ve seen you spending more time with him these past few months than buried in books, you've changed, and not in a bad way."
"Stop talking nonsense."
"Nonsense, sure."
The worst part… Jacob was right. His grades were still excellent, but it was obvious that spending time with Louis had become a big priority in his life. Seeing him every day was a blessing he wasn't willing to lose for anything. His precious boy had lit up his world in ways no one else ever had.
"I think we should go."
"What? Why? I thought you'd leave with your girl," Jacob says, confused.
"No, let's go. He looks busy," Harry replies, looking at Louis, who was still talking not only with the captain but also with other girls from her team.
"Harry," Jacob’s tone carries that edge, the one that means he’s about to lecture him.
“If you wanna stay, go ahead. I’m leaving.” Harry doesn’t wait for a reply. He just gets up and starts walking down the bleachers, feeling Jacob trailing behind him. He doesn’t look back.
“I don’t get it,” Jacob says as they walk side by side to the parking lot where Harry’s car is parked. “You came all this way just to see Louis. Why are you leaving now?”
"I know, but he was busy. Better let him take care of his business. We'll see each other tomorrow."
"Something tells me that's not the reason." Harry looks at him confused, and Jacob looks at him as if saying, 'I know everything, I just need you to say it to confirm my suspicions.' Harry rolls his eyes.
"I like Louis more than I thought I did."
“I know that. It’s painfully obvious, Harry. But that still doesn’t explain what just happened.”
"I think he just sees me as his nerdy friend who helps him study."
"You're both idiots."
“Watch how you talk about him.”
"Harry, it's obvious he likes you too."
"Don't talk about his feelings. You don't know them." Harry’s voice turns low, almost threatening. Jacob feels the weight of it, enough to make him a little nervous but he doesn’t show it.
Despite Harry being the calm and shy guy who spends most of his time buried in books and architectural plans, there’s something dangerous in him when it comes to the people he loves. And Louis has become someone very important to him. He would never allow anyone to talk about his feelings so lightly.
"I'm sorry, you're right. But you shouldn't waste a day with the person you like just because you think he doesn't like you back."
"It's not that, and I don't want to talk about it anymore, please." Jacob just nods.
He doesn't want to be rude to his best friend, but talking about it would mean confessing one of his recent fears: that Louis only spends time with him out of some kind of obligation or pity. And seeing him today so animated, he starts to feel that the cheerleader also needs time for the rest of his friends. There are days when they spend so many hours together that it's already the end of the day when Harry takes him to his apartment. He doesn't want Louis to feel that they have to spend all their time together to be friends, even though he loves the idea of spending all his time surrounded by the cheerleader and his countless talks about anything.
Both guys decide to pick up Jacob's girlfriend and have a day together, which ends up being Jacob and his girlfriend cuddling everywhere and Harry as the third wheel.

Talking to Fred isn't something Louis enjoys, but he wanted to try something interesting for the first time. Well, he wanted to make Harry jealous, which ended badly because Harry left, and Louis had to keep listening to Fred talk about his new car, which he honestly couldn't care less about.
After a boring conversation, Louis ran straight to the library, hoping to find the guy with glasses sitting in his usual spot but the seat was empty. He didn't get discouraged right away and decided to wait. Maybe Harry had a bathroom emergency and would take a while to arrive.
After an hour with no sign of Harry and no response to any of his messages, his imminent disappointment and sadness set in.
He decided to walk home. December was just around the corner, and the air was getting colder than ever, which Louis enjoyed more than anything. His favorite month of all, not just because it's his birthday month, but because it's a magical month.
At home, Vix greeted him with a lazy meow from the couch, where she looked so comfortable with no sign of wanting to leave the pile of blankets she was snuggled in. Louis blew her a kiss and walked straight to his room to take a hot shower and put on his warmest pajamas. He grabbed his phone and went straight to the couch to greet his girl properly.
After playing with Vixie for a while and making a quick meal, he went to his cozy nest with Vixie following closely. He first responded to his best friends' messages and then saw he had one from Harry. He hurried to read it.
"Hi Sweetheart, I spent the day with Jacob and his girlfriend. You seemed busy when I was at your practice, so I didn't want to interrupt because I understand an important game is coming up. Have a good night and rest well. Put on your warmest socks and give Vix a kiss from me."
Louis smiled and sent a photo showing his feet wrapped in warm socks and Vixie sleeping. Harry quickly responded with a red heart, making the cheerleader smile widely.

At the beginning of December, the university turns into a place that looks like Santa Claus threw up all over it.
Everyone there is really into the holidays, which explains the early decorations. Harry isn't a grinch or anything, he actually enjoys the season, especially since he gets to spend it with his family. But he wouldn’t call himself a big enthusiast either. He likes peace and quiet, and December doesn't exactly bring much of that.
The campus looks impressive. People are running around everywhere, trying to make sure the decorations go up exactly as planned. The cold makes Harry wonder if Louis is properly dressed. As cheer captain, the omega is always involved in university events, and Harry knows this is one of his favorite times of the year, he absolutely loves decorations.
His suspicions are confirmed when he spots the omega in a black long-sleeved sweater and a skirt that barely reaches mid-thigh, paired with long stockings and knee-high boots. He looks precious… but definitely not warm enough.
Louis almost runs past Harry without paying attention, until hands wrap gently around his waist, stopping him and turning him toward a familiar chest. Louis looks up, ready to yell at whoever stopped him, but when he sees Harry's green eyes framed by glasses, he just smiles and hugs him by the waist, enjoying the warmth emanating from the alpha.
"Hi, sweet," Harry murmurs, his voice low and warm, making Louis shiver and smile. Being wrapped up in the festivities and decorations this month at the university, they haven't had as much time to see each other as they normally would.
"Hi," Louis replies softly, still pressed against Harry. "I missed you." Harry smiles at that.
"We saw each other yesterday. I took you home, remember?"
Louis looks at him with a pout. "I know, but I want to spend more time with you."
Harry kisses his forehead gently, his arms still around the omega's waist. "Soon. You've done a wonderful job. The whole place looks amazing."
Louis smiles bigger than ever. "Do you like it?" When Harry nods, Louis jumps excitedly in place. "Thank you, although all I did was give the orders.”
"As you should. Pretty girls shouldn't do so much hard work." Harry had wanted to help with the setup, but a supervising professor sent him away when he realized the alpha hadn’t signed up in advance. So all Harry could do was wait every day until Louis was done and take him home.
"Stop, you're going to make me blush." His cheeks are already pink, but Harry doesn't mention it.
"Well, I'm going to make you blush a bit more because, God, Lou, you look absolutely precious." Louis hides his face in Harry’s chest again, this time with a deeper flush.
"But I see you're not dressed warmly for this weather." Harry adds.
“I know, I forgot my jacket. I was rushing out this morning,” Louis says with a pout. “Besides, cold is all in the mind, Harry.”
Harry shakes his head, though a small smile appears on his lips at the girl's antics. "None of that. Take my jacket." Louis shakes his head, but it's too late because Harry has already taken off his jacket and started putting it on the omega’s shoulders.
"It's not necessary, Harry, you could get sick."
"It is necessary, and I don't get sick as easily as you do being exposed to this weather. I know you're very sensitive to the cold." Louis smiles shyly when Harry finishes putting the warm jacket that smells like the alpha on him.
"Thank you, you're very sweet, but you know it's mine now, right?" Harry lets out a laugh and then kisses the sweet boy's forehead in front of him.
"I know, many of them have been kidnapped by a pretty and tiny omega." Louis looks at him offended, murmuring 'I'm not tiny.' Harry just smiles more, which seems to be all he does when he's with Louis.
They hug again until Louis remembers he has to continue supervising the decorations. Harry nods in agreement but not before directing them both to the university coffe shopto get Louis's favorite drink this month: hot chocolate.
They both wait in a small line that takes no more than five minutes. With their respective drinks, Harry takes the omega to where he needs to go.
"See you later today, Alpha." The title, not said regularly, always brings butterflies to the alpha's stomach and makes him a bundle of nerves. He nods, speechless, watching as the omega walks away.

December also marks the beginning of the university team's game season. The little omega had been incredibly busy, juggling a full day of classes, intense cheerleading practice, and late-night study sessions with Harry who had been nothing short of an angel since the day they met, but even more so now. Always patient, always kind, Harry waited for Louis to finish practice just so they could head to the cheerleader’s house and study together. Louis couldn’t be more grateful.
The first game of the season arrives. Harry is in the stands with his two best friends. Jacob, who is wearing the team’s jersey and is completely hyped, Niall is only there because he has nowhere else to be. And Harry? He’s there for his (soon to be) girl because Louis had made him promise to watch the performance and Harry simply couldn’t say no.
Resting in his hands are two red pom-poms Louis made just for him. “So you can cheer for me properly,” he had said with a wink. And really, how could Harry ever say no?
His eyes never leave the cheerleader. Each time Louis lands a flawless flip, Harry shakes the pom-poms with more excitement than he ever thought himself capable of. He can’t even focus on the game, not when Louis is out there moving so effortlessly in that mini skirt, his face glowing with pure joy. Nothing else matters. Just him.
"Harry, did you see that? Noah is an idiot if he's not going to play well, why is he even on the team?" Jacob huffs in frustration, gesturing toward the field. Niall, sitting on the other side, nods in agreement.
"What? I didn’t see it. What are you talking about?" Harry blinks, clearly distracted.
Jacob rolls his eyes. "Noah missed a shot. Why did you even come to the game, man?"
"For Louis, obviously." Harry says it like it’s the most natural answer in the world. Niall rolls his eyes, but there's a fond smile on his face. It's kind of adorable how Harry seems to revolve entirely around Louis.
"Louis isn't even doing anything right now, Harry. Why are you staring at him so much?" Jacob teases, nudging him.
Harry blushes, his hand automatically going to the back of his neck. "Um… he might need something. I’m just making sure."
"I think your girl will survive if you stop staring for one second," Jacob says with a smirk.
Harry doesn’t believe that. His eyes are already back on him, who is sitting prettily on the bench, pom-poms in hand, waiting for his next turn on the field.
Louis looks especially beautiful today, practically glowing with joy every time the team scores. A little pout forms on his lips whenever someone messes up, and when things go right, he cheers louder than anyone, his energy infectious. How could Harry look away? Every expression is something new to memorize. He deserves to be this happy always and he’s decided he’ll do whatever it takes to keep it that way.
"Should we start worrying about Louis' safety, Ni?" Jacob jokes. Niall bursts out laughing, while Harry throws them a warning glare.
"Let him be, he’s in love," Niall says, shrugging. "Honestly, I think Louis is the safest person on campus."
Jacob nods. "You're right. Harry’s the chillest guy ever, but if you lay a finger on his girl, he won’t stop until he hunts you down and makes you regret being born."
"Of course not." Of course yes.
"Of course yes," Niall counters instantly.
"You don’t even believe yourself," Jacob adds, amused.
"And I still can't believe she’s not your girlfriend yet. What are you waiting for?" Jacob asks, sounding genuinely baffled. Niall leans forward, grinning. "I bet both of you sneak kisses in the library hallways."
Jacob bursts out laughing while Harry flushes red.
"You both should shut up and focus on the game," Harry mutters, flustered.
They both turn to him expectantly. "So… is it true?" Jacob presses.
Harry groans. "It's not true, okay? Happy?"
"I don’t know what you're waiting for," Jacob says, shaking his head. "That omega is literally right there. And yeah, yeah, I know I’m not supposed to speak for him. But come on. He doesn’t need to say anything when he looks at you the way he does. He’s crazy about you, H. Don’t waste any more time."
Harry doesn’t say anything in response, his eyes simply drift back to Louis. His smile is still there, radiant and soft, and his eyes shine just as brightly. Eyes that are now looking at him, more dazzling than ever. The way his grin crinkles the corners of his eyes makes his heart swell. And when he lifts a pom-pom and gives it a little shake in his direction, he wants nothing more than to run to him, scoop him into his arms, and never let him go. He longs for the game to end so he can do exactly that. For now, he settles for shaking his own pom-pom in return, which makes Louis giggle and cover his laughter with his hand.
Beautiful, beautiful omega.
The game ends with a resounding win for the team. As the excitement begins to die down, Jacob claps a hand on Harry’s back and mutters something like, “Go get your girl.” But Harry barely registers the words he’s already climbing down the bleachers, eyes searching for Louis, who’s scanning the crowd for him too.
“You were phenomenal, sweetie,” he says the moment they meet. Louis lights up at the compliment and throws himself into Harry’s arms. Harry holds him tightly, both of them smiling so wide it almost hurts.
“Thanks, Haz,” Louis murmurs, his face tucked against Harry’s chest. “Are you going to the victory party?” he asks once they pull apart.
“I’m not sure. You?”
“Yes, I have to go—I’m the captain, Harry,” he teases with a playful grin. “can you go?, please?” His puppy-like eyes find Harry’s, and there’s really no way he could ever say no to that.
“I can’t say no when you look at me like that.” Louis giggles, covering his mouth with a hand as Harry gently pushes his bangs back from his face.
“I’ll see you there, then? I’m getting ready with the girls. Bibi’s driving us.”
Harry nods. “Alright. Go now your friends are starting to give me the evil eye for hogging you.”
Louis laughs, glancing behind him to see his friends dramatically crossing their arms and tapping their feet. “You know they’re just messing around.”
“I don’t know,” Harry says, smirking, then leans down to press a soft kiss to his forehead. “Go. I’ll see you at the party.”
Louis nods with a grin, then stands on his toes to press a quick kiss to Harry’s jaw. Harry’s cheeks turn pink instantly, but before he can say a word, Louis is already skipping away toward his waiting friends.
۶ৎ𓂃𓈒
Harry arrives alone, his friends, or rather ex-friends, refused to accompany him, claiming they had things to do. Liars.
The first thing he notices as he steps into the party and scans the room is that Louis isn’t there yet. So instead of standing awkwardly by the door, he makes his way toward a classmate—the only familiar face in the crowd. They chat for a while, comfortably enough, and eventually, the girl introduces him to her girlfriend, who, as it turns out, is on Louis’ cheer team.
Harry doesn’t see Louis walk in.
But Louis does arrive, still glowing from the fun of getting ready with his friends. Ever since that sweet moment with Harry after the game, his heart has been fluttering with happiness.
“You should wear this mini dress. Harry’s going to lose his mind,” Olivia says, holding up a little dress Louis has always loved. There's no hesitation—he's wearing it tonight.
“Are you planning to do something with your man tonight, babe?” Bibi asks, dabbing on her makeup. Louis takes a second before answering.
“Do you think it’s the right time? What if he hates me after?”
Olivia snorts, wide-eyed. “Impossible. You might not have noticed, but that man worships the ground you walk on.”
“But he seems too shy to make a move,” Robin adds, and Olivia nods in agreement.
“I like that about him,” Louis admits, blushing when his friends coo and pinch at his sides.
“We know,” Robin says with a wink, brushing the last bit of blush onto Louis’ cheeks. Then she leans in, whispers, “Gorgeous,” and Louis kisses her on the cheek in thanks.
He can’t stop thinking about Harry on the drive to the party. Maybe it’s time to rip the bandage off. He doesn’t think he can wait much longer to have his timid alpha.
The moment Louis walks into the house, he scans the room, determined to spend the night close to Harry to dance with him, and maybe even for him. It all sounds perfect.
But the excitement drains out of him the moment he spots Harry at the bar talking far too closely with a girl.
Louis recognizes her. He’s seen her around Harry before. And even though Harry swore he didn’t have a girlfriend, maybe she is the one he actually likes. It shouldn’t matter because Harry isn’t his boyfriend, much less his alpha. But that’s exactly what makes something twist sharply in his stomach: he can’t just go up to him and claim him like he wants to. And worst of all Harry didn’t even see him come in. Wasn’t tonight supposed to be for the two of them? Wasn’t he supposed to be waiting?
“Who is she?” Louis murmurs to Robín, who is eyeing the scene while rubbing Louis’ back gently. She can practically hear the thoughts racing in his mind, so she guides him toward an empty table.
“I don’t know, maybe just a classmate.” Then she adds, “Stay here, I’ll get you a drink. Stop overthinking.”
Louis nods, but his eyes remain glued to Harry, who is still talking, still smiling, too distracted to notice the omega watching him.
One drink turns into another. Then another. Until Louis isn’t sure how long he’s been out there, only that he’s dancing now—someone’s hands on his waist. But Louis doesn’t want to think anymore. He didn’t come here to mope.
He came to dance. And that’s exactly what he’s going to do with or without Harry.
Stupid alphas.

Harry had been searching for Louis all night, eyes locked on the entrance, waiting but he never saw him arrive. Lilian is now lost in her own world with her girlfriend, and Harry’s mind was consumed with thoughts of Louis. There was no way he would skip the party without telling him, he had been too excited about the party. Harry’s thoughts spun with possibilities, filling in the blanks until, finally, he spotted him.
The first thing he noticed was how breathtaking Louis looked—his head went completely fuzzy at the sight of that little black dress. The second thing he noticed was that Louis was dancing closely with a guy from the team, a drink in hand, their movements far too intimate. Harry’s jaw tightened at the scene, irritation simmering beneath the surface. But what could he do about it?
Lilian, his project partner, after a while decided to take her girlfriend home, leaving Harry alone, who could only pay attention to what was happening with Louis, every drink he accepted, every move he made while dancing. Harry kept a close eye on the idiots around him, making sure none of them touched him too much.
“You’re taking him home, right?” Robin’s voice startled him.
“Shit… yeah, don’t worry.” His eyes didn’t leave Louis.
“He was waiting to dance with you all night but didn’t want to interrupt your conversation. You better not be playing with him, Styles.” Robin’s tone was sharp, almost threatening.
“I’m not. I was actually waiting for him to arrive—until I saw him dancing. I didn’t want to interrupt either.”
Robin muttered something like, “You're an idiot,” before adding, “Then you should do something about it.” She glanced toward Louis. “Who knows? Someone faster might beat you to it.” With a firm pat on Harry’s back, she walked away, leaving him alone with his thoughts. It was the same advice Jacob had given him at the game—maybe it was time to act. But how? And when?
A few minutes later, he decided it’s time to take Louis home, especially when he saw Louis stumbling, nearly falling from how drunk he was.
“Let’s get you home, sweetheart,” Harry murmured, catching Louis against his body.
“No! Let me go I don’t know who you are,” Louis protested, weakly pushing at his chest.
“I’m Harry,” he said softly.
Louis blinked up at him, eyes glassy and hazy. It was his Harry… oh. It was Harry. Or maybe not. Maybe it wasn’t his Harry, because his Harry was supposed to be with his new girlfriend.
“No, go away… leave me alone. My Harry should be with his girlfriend, taking her home.” The sadness in his voice wasn’t lost on Harry, who looked at him in confusion. Louis was speaking nonsense.
“What are you talking about?”
“Who’s talking? Wait, who are you?” Louis asked again, cupping Harry’s face between his hands. “You’re really handsome, almost as handsome as my Harry. Though you look a lot like him… are you his twin brother?” Louis pokes one of his eyes causing him to instinctively close it which causes Louis to giggle a lot.
“No, I’m Harry. Will you let me take you home?” He kept a firm yet gentle hold on Louis’ waist, using his other hand to smooth back his bangs.
“Why do you want to take me home? Are you a kidnapper? You should know my Harry is really strong, he’ll punch you if you hurt me.” Louis tapped a finger against his chest, making Harry melt at his adorable protectiveness and at how he’d claimed him as his so many times without realizing it.
“Look at me, precious. I’m your Harry.” He gently lifted Louis’ chin, guiding his gaze to meet his. “See? It’s me, Harry. I’m not kidnapping you. I just want to take you home. Will you let me?”
Louis studied him for several long seconds before breaking into a huge smile, wrapping his arms around Harry’s neck. “Hazz! You’re finally here! We have to dance!” He tried to move, but Harry held him steady, keeping him from swaying. His heart twisted at the thought that Louis had been waiting all night to dance with him.
“No, Lou. It’s time to go home, you've danced too much already.” He stroked his soft cheek, already thinking of ways to make it up to him.
“But I wanted to dance with you, and you spent the whole time with that girl.” Louis pouted.
“I’m sorry, precious. I promise I’ll take you dancing, just the two of us.”
“Promise? Pinky promise?” He held up his ring finger, making Harry chuckle before gently correcting it with his pinky, sealing the promise with a kiss to his knuckles.
“I promise. Now, let’s get you home, okay?”
Louis nodded eagerly, stretching his arms out so Harry could carry him to the car, something he did without a moment’s hesitation.
۶ৎ𓂃𓈒
The ride to the cheerleader’s apartment was quiet—Louis had fallen asleep almost instantly in the passenger seat. The real trouble came once they arrived. Carrying him wasn’t the hard part; the problem was the security guard at the building, who didn’t want to let Harry in given Louis’s intoxicated state. After several minutes of explaining, Harry finally convinced the older man to let them through. But once in front of the door, another challenge appeared: he couldn’t get the keys out of Louis’s tiny purse.
After a few more frustrating minutes, he finally fished them out and managed to open the door. Inside, he carried Louis straight to his bedroom, laying him gently on the bed and carefully slipping off his shoes.
“Harry?” Louis asked from the bed, voice groggy but a little steadier. Harry stopped what he was doing and walked over immediately.
“I’m right here. Do you need anything else?” Harry replied softly, brushing Louis’s hair back from his forehead with gentle fingers.
“What are you doing here?” Louis asked, his voice a little clearer now. “You should be with your girl… not with me. She’s really pretty and smart and… I don’t know why you’re here.”
“Lou—”
“Oh my God. Do you like her?” Louis interrupted, voice full of disbelief, even though nothing he said made much sense.
“Pretty—”
“No! Now she’s going to be your 'pretty'.” Louis pointed accusingly at Harry, who took his finger and pressed a gentle kiss to the tip.
“She will not be, Lou.”
“You’re lying,” Louis pouted, eyes wide and unfocused.
“I’m not lying. She’s just a classmate and she already has an omega.” Harry smiled softly at the girl in his arms, whose cheeks were now flushed pink and eyes round with surprise.
“Oh. She has an omega.”
“Yeah.”
“So… you don’t like her?”
“No.”
Louis beamed at the answer, something inside him easing.
“Okay.”
Harry shook his head, sighing quietly to himself. No. Now wasn’t the time. He wouldn’t confess anything tonight. Not while Louis was drunk and unlikely to remember a word of it tomorrow.
“Come on, you need to rest,” he whispered gently, guiding Louis back down to lie comfortably on the bed.
Louis let himself be moved, but just before settling under the covers, he looked up at Harry again, eyes glassy and soft.
“I like you, Harry… I’ve liked you for a long time…” he mumbled with a heartbreaking honesty that nearly knocked the air out of Harry’s lungs.
Harry froze for a second, his eyes locked with Louis’s. A warm ache swelled in his chest—an impossible mix of joy and sorrow. He wanted to say it back. He so badly wanted to cup Louis’s face, kiss him silly, and seal that confession with something real. But he couldn’t. Not like this. Louis deserved better.
So instead, he just smiled and pressed a tender kiss to Louis’s forehead, tucking the blanket gently around him.
Louis blinked, confused. His heart sank at the silence. He had just opened himself up completely… and got no reply. He lowered his gaze, the sharp sting of rejection tightening in his chest, and his omega stirred restlessly, wounded by the quiet.
“I promise it’ll all make sense soon,” Harry said softly, catching the sadness in Louis’s scent. “I want it to be special for you.”
Louis looked at him, pain still flickering in the back of his eyes, but nodded faintly. He wasn’t fully convinced—how could he be?—but there was something in Harry’s voice that made him want to believe him.
At least for now.

The next morning, Louis felt embarrassed by what he said, his chest felt heavy as he thought that maybe their friendship would never be the same again but his routine continued as usual. Harry was the same as always, friendly, warm and he didn’t mention anything about what had happened the other night. Louis, afraid that Harry might not feel the same way, didn’t dare bring it up either. So, they didn’t talk about it, and simply carried on with their days as if nothing had happened.
Days later, Louis’ birthday was approaching. He had already made plans to spend it with his family in Doncaster. Of course he wanted to see them, he missed them every single day but he couldn’t help feeling a little down knowing he wouldn’t be celebrating with his closest friends. Still, he told himself it was fine; he’d get to spend New Year’s with them anyway.
Then, out of nowhere, Harry showed up at Louis’ apartment on a Saturday just two days before his trip home. He told Louis to get ready because he had a surprise planned.
Louis didn’t question it, he just smiled and went along. He chose, unknowingly, a lovely baby blue dress and paired it with simple flat shoes. He put on a bit of makeup, mascara, blush, and gloss, grabbed his purse, and packed his essentials.
Harry who had been finalizing the last details while waiting, and when he heard Louis’ footsteps coming from the bedroom, he froze. His breath caught in his throat. Louis always had a way of leaving him speechless.
“Do I look good, Harry?” Louis asked playfully, giving a little twirl.
Harry cleared his throat, feeling his face warm. “You look gorgeous.” He took Louis' hand and spun him again, making the omega stumble slightly and fall against his chest with a giggle. “Absolutely precious,” Harry added, unable to stop himself from kissing Louis’ face, while Louis blushed and hid against Harry's chest.
“Umm,” Louis hummed softly, “Where are we going?”
“It’s a surprise,” Harry replied, still completely captivated by how radiant Louis looked that day.
“I love surprises!,” Louis said. Harry already knew that.
Louis looked around for Vixie while still in Harry’s arms, and when he spotted her half-asleep inside his travel bag, his face lit up. “Oh! Are we bringing Vixie, Hazz?” he asked excitedly.
“Of course we are,” Harry said. Louis smiled brightly and tried to go get her, but Harry held him in place for a moment longer, wrapping him in a warm hug. Louis laughed and hugged him back, loving the comfort.
Then they headed to Harry’s car. Harry carried Vixie while Louis asked again and again about the surprise. He loved surprises, yes but that didn’t mean he wasn’t dying to know. Harry, ever patient, simply smiled and repeated, “It’s a surprise, Lou,” each time.
When they arrived, Louis gasped softly and bounced in his seat, trying to get out of the car as quickly as possible. The place was a wide, lush green field, filled with flowers everywhere. Once out of the car, Harry covered Louis’ eyes and carefully guided him forward, still holding Vixie in her travel bag.
They didn’t walk far before Harry uncovered Louis's eyes. The omega let out a loud gasp of surprise right as everyone shouted, “Surprise!” His eyes instantly welled up with tears. He had already resigned himself to the idea of spending his birthday without his friends. He had tried to convince himself it was okay but now, Harry had changed everything.
Louis let out a quiet sob, overwhelmed with happiness. Harry, who had already let Vixie out to explore, turned when he heard the sound. He found Louis crying and pulled him into a tight embrace without thought, holding the omega close to him. Louis hugged him even tighter, burying his face into Harry’s shirt, soaking it with tears.
“Hey, omega… what’s wrong?” Harry asked softly, not wanting to overwhelm him more.
“N-nothing… I’m just really happy,” Louis said, looking up at him with shining eyes and a wide, grateful smile. “Thank you, Hazz, thank you so much.” Harry shook his head and hugged him again. From where they stood, Harry could see Robin and Olivia standing with their arms crossed, clearly waiting for their turn to hug Louis.
“Anything for you, sweet,” Harry whispered, kissing his forehead. “Now go, your friends are waiting.” Louis gave him a kiss on the cheek, no one had ever done something like this for him before. He felt like he could float from how happy he was. When he noticed he’d left a little gloss on Harry’s cheek, he wiped it away gently, gave him one last look, and turned to take everything in.
The place was decorated with pink and green balloons. There was food. his favorites, and a pink heart-shaped cake. A huge balloon displayed his age. All his friends were there: Robin, Olivia with her boyfriend, Nicholas with his now-boyfriend Dylan—Louis proudly took credit for that match; playing Cupid had worked. Harry’s friends were also there, Niall, Jacob and his girlfriend, Louis had grown closer to them recently.
He ran to Robin and Olivia first, who were waiting with open arms and teary smiles. “Did you know about this?” he asked, laughing through the tears as they hugged.
“Of course not. Harry told us yesterday,” Robin said. Olivia added, “We had planned a girls’ night with you, just the three of us. Well, and Nic. But Harry beat us to it.” Louis chuckled and hugged them again. “I still want that girls’ night.”
They nodded happily.
Louis went on to hug each of the guests, thanking them sincerely for coming. His eyes sparkled the whole time. Smiling constantly, he made sure to introduce Harry’s friends to his own friends, especially making sure Robin met Niall. He definitely noticed Robin’s light blush and immediately began plotting. He had successfully played Cupid once before, why not again?
Harry made sure everyone sang “Happy Birthday” to Louis, capturing every moment with photos, some of Louis alone, others surrounded by everyone. At one point, Louis asked Robin to take some pictures of just him and Harry, making the latter blush under the attention while Jacob teased him for looking so nervous.
As the afternoon faded and the weather began to cool, the guests started saying goodbye and heading to their cars. Louis, visibly happy, hugged them one by one, thanking them again for coming, his smile still as bright as at the beginning of the party.
"Are you taking Lou home, Styles?" Robín asks Harry, looking at Louis saying goodbye to Jacob and his girlfriend with a hug.
"Yes, of course, don’t worry," Harry says as he collects the trash into a bag and puts away the rest of the cake for the omega, knowing he’ll like having something to snack on at home.
"I don’t know what you’re waiting for, man."
"What do you mean?" Harry asks, still packing everything into a basket. The weather is colder now, he needs to get Louis warm as soon as possible.
"Look at her." Harry does exactly that, he looks at Louis, who is now hugging Niall tightly while talking to him animatedly, his dress fluttering in the wind. Harry needs to go get that jacket. "You’ve made her so happy."
"That’s all I want," Harry says, still with his eyes on the omega as he sighs.
"Do you love him? Like more than a friend? Because he told me what happened the other night and how you didn’t say anything." The question came out of Robín without hesitation. Olivia, who had joined the conversation, lets out a surprised sound and whispers a "Bibi!" but Harry doesn’t care if the question is too invasive.
"I do, of course I do but I couldn’t just confess while he was drunk, he deserves so much more," he says and smiles as he sees the omega wave goodbye to Jacob’s car while Niall and his best friend’s girlfriend lean halfway out of the car to say goodbye to the omega—one waving the same way, and the other blowing kisses into the air. He hadn’t noticed how much his friends love Louis. That makes him extremely happy.
"Then I don’t know what you’re waiting for." Olivia and Robín pat Harry on the back as they say goodbye.
Harry is just waiting for all of them to leave to do it.
When the girls go to Louis to say goodbye, Harry takes the chance to go to his car to put everything away, checking on Vixie in the process, who is already asleep in her seat. Harry puts everything in the trunk, the basket and Louis’s gifts and also grabs the jacket he had on the back of his seat and a special gift he saved for the end of the night.
When he’s done, he sees Louis saying goodbye to Robín and Olivia with a strong hug. Harry approaches when the girls have left and it’s just Louis and him left there.
“It’s too cold for you to not wear a jacket, precious,” Harry says as he places his jacket over the omega, who smiles while letting Harry wrap him up against the cold.
“I still can’t believe you did all this for me.”
“I’d do anything to see you this happy,” Harry says with a soft smile and a blush on his cheeks.
“Hazz—” Louis murmurs, resting his head where Harry’s heart beats.
“I know I’ve avoided this topic for a few days, but I wanted it to be special, just like I told you that night,” Harry says, his hands resting on the omega’s waist, warming him as he feels him trembling in his arms.
“Harry, if you don’t feel the same, it’s okay, I swear, you don’t have to—” Harry cuts him off by placing a finger on his lips.
“Come on, I want to show you my favorite place.” Harry guides him to his favorite spot not far from where they were celebrating Louis’s early birthday, his arms still around him. He needs to get the omega somewhere warm, but he also needs to do this tonight. He can’t let his omega go to his parents feeling sad or unsure.
When they arrive, Louis sees fairy lights hanging from the trees and the moon shining above lighting up the small lake. “I actually wanted to celebrate your birthday here, but I wanted this place to be just yours and mine, that’s why I changed my mind,” Harry says, guiding Louis to where he’s laid out a blanket and pillows for comfort.
“It’s so beautiful, Hazz,” Louis says once they’re both seated.
Harry blushes before he begins to speak. “Lou, I’ve never done anything like this. I think that’s why it took me so long, between planning everything so it would be perfect for you and trying to not let my nerves get in the way, it took me forever to tell you how much I like you, how in love I am with you.” Louis feels the air catch in his throat, all the weight he felt disappearing.
“When I heard you say you liked me, I nearly jumped from happiness,” Louis let out a small laugh, his eyes already teary, “But then I remembered you were drunk, and I couldn’t answer like that, you deserve more, and I wanted to give you more. You’re the omega of my dreams, I knew it from the moment I first saw you,” Harry let out a nervous sigh, “I’m really in love with you, baby, w-would you be my girlfriend?” Harry finally asks, his voice shaking a bit with nerves and Louis can’t help but throw himself into his alpha’s arms.
“Yes yes yes yes,” Louis answers against Harry’s lips before joining them in a long-awaited kiss, filled with all the love they’ve held back for months. Harry feels nervous at first as he kisses his omega softly, his hands holding his waist, but after a moment it grows deeper, more urgent, leaving them both gasping for air.
Louis kisses his alpha’s lips once more before pulling back. “Alpha, you’re wrong about one thing, it didn’t have to be perfect when you asked me, I would’ve said yes no matter when.” Louis says as he smiles, fixing Harry’s glasses that had shifted during the kiss, and Harry kisses him again.
“That’s exactly why it had to be perfect. You deserve it, omega.” Louis looks him straight in the eyes before hiding his face in Harry’s neck, breathing in his scent as he tries to calm his racing heart. His alpha is so sweet.
“I have something for you,” Harry says, pulling a small box from his pocket. Louis smiles excitedly as he takes it in his hands and opens it. Inside is a heart-shaped necklace with an ‘H’ engraved on the front. Louis blushes, his eyes filling with tears.
“I-It’s beautiful,” Louis whispers “I love it, thank you alpha. Will you put it on me, please?” Louis adds, blinking away tears as a deep warmth spreads through his chest.
Harry nods, taking the necklace in his hands and placing it around the omega’s neck, leaving a kiss on the metal heart, Louis’s heart melting even more.
“I have one just like it,” Harry says, pulling out from under his shirt a necklace identical to Louis’s, except his has an ‘L’ engraved. Louis smiles at how adorable he is, copying Harry’s action by kissing the pendant before hiding once again in his alpha’s neck, heart racing as he seeks out more of his scent.
Harry does the same, nuzzling into Louis’s neck. The warm notes of vanilla and coconut mix with Harry’s own scent as they both release their natural pheromones, creating a blend that makes them completely addicted to one another.
“You smell delicious, omega,” Harry murmurs. Louis lets out a soft moan, his little nose sniffing at Harry’s neck as Harry marks him again with his scent. Louis melts in his arms.
A few minutes later, Louis pulls away from his hiding spot. “Shall we go home, alpha?” he asks, kissing Harry once more.
After that, they head to the car. Harry takes down the fairy lights from the spot while Louis picks up the blanket and pillows. Once inside the car, Harry turns on the heater, and Louis kisses his blushing cheek in thanks.
Back at the apartment, Harry helps Louis unload all his gifts while the omega carries Vixie inside. Once the cat is asleep in her favorite spot and the gifts lie on one of the living room shelves, Louis guides Harry to another sofa, sits on his lap, and kisses him again.
This time, the kiss is deeper, more intense, making the omega release soft moans swallowed by the alpha’s mouth. Harry grows more confident with every kiss he gives and receives, his hands holding Louis like he never wants to let go.
Louis, on the other hand, knows what he wants, he wants his alpha tonight, not tomorrow or the next day. He wants him now and doesn’t want to wait any longer; he already feels he’s waited enough. That’s why he starts moving his hips against Harry’s cock, feeling how his own scent grows sweeter and more addictive, and how his alpha begins to respond, his cock stirring to life beneath him.
“B-baby—” Harry stammers a bit, feeling the pressure on his cock, his hands grabbing a handful of the shifting hips of his girl. “I-I…”
“I want you, alpha,” Louis murmurs as he caresses Harry’s chest, specifically the necklace hanging around his neck, leaving kisses and nibbles all over the place. “I want my alpha to fuck me tonight, I’ve waited so long.” The hand that was on Harry’s chest now travels down to stroke the full length of the green-eyed boy. A soft whisper escapes Louis: “Too big.”
Louis’s sweet scent floods the room completely now, warm and dizzying, making Harry feel high on him.
“L-louis,” Harry breathes out, voice trembling as he grips Louis’s hips tighter, overwhelmed by the omega’s touch, his scent, his words. “I-I’m scared I won’t do it right.” Louis’s gaze softens at that, his sweet alpha.
“Oh, alpha,” he whispers, cupping Harry’s cheek tenderly, “everything is going to be fine. Just let your Alpha guide you.” With his other hand, he gently adjusts Harry’s glasses, smiling lovingly at him.
“What if I hurt you?” Harry asks, voice barely above a whisper. “I’ve never gone this far with anyone before.” Louis already knew that — Harry had dated before, but nothing serious. That person had grown tired of waiting for Harry to take the next step. Louis understood why his alpha felt so shy, and it only made him love him more.
“You don’t have to do anything you’re not ready for,” Louis says sincerely. “But don’t be afraid of hurting me. You’re my alpha, and I know you’d never hurt me, not even by accident.”
Harry nods slowly. He knows it’s true his alpha instincts worship Louis, and would never allow him to be harmed but the nerves still linger.
“I want to do it,” Harry says softly “but will you tell me if I hurt you?”
Louis nods eagerly. “Yes, I promise, but I won’t need to because you’ll give me everything I need. You’ll leave me completely satisfied, won’t you?” Harry swallowed nervously, though his cock is very interested in all this, still warm from Louis’s heat.
“L-lou.”
“Am I going to have to beg for it, alpha?” Louis teases, pouting as he lets out a moan feeling how tightly Harry holds him. He senses the mood change, his shy alpha is still there, but something deeper is surfacing now. Louis can feel it. He knows Harry's Alpha is about to take over and wreck him in the best way possible
“Then beg for it, omega,” Harry growls, his voice shifting from stammering to something deep, commanding, purely alpha. The change makes Louis even wetter, if that’s possible.
“Please, alpha, I need it, please,” Louis’s pleas are swallowed by Harry’s mouth as he kisses him fiercely, Harry’s tongue tasting his omega’s mouth. “So sweet.” Another kiss. “I can already imagine how sweet you must taste, baby.” Louis moans loudly. Harry already has one hand slipping under Louis’s dress, feeling the tiny lace between his fingers, while the other hand grabs the omega’s neck as he writhes in his lap.
“What do you need, my love?” Harry whispers, gently caressing Louis’s wet lips. Louis arches, almost mounting Harry’s fingers out of the desire consuming him. Harry softly parts his folds and begins to stroke his clit, causing Louis to let out a loud moan before trying to respond with a shaky voice.
Harry smiles against his skin, enjoying every shiver he provokes. His precious omega, who always has something to say, is now completely speechless from just a few caresses. Harry adores him. His fingers move in a slow, almost torturous rhythm, while he carefully watches every reaction from Louis.
“Tell me,” he murmurs, his voice rough and low. “I want to hear you say it.”
Louis clings to Harry’s shirt, his hips still moving over the alpha’s fingers, longing to have them inside— all of them, not just caresses. He needs more, he needs Harry to fill him completely.
“I n-need you, umm,” Louis moans, voice catching as Harry pinches him just enough to make him squirm, “I want your fingers, alpha, please, I need them inside me.”
Harry groans, a dark smile curling his lips. Without saying a word, he lifts Louis easily into his arms. His sweet, needy omega so willing, so pliant, already drunk on desire. Louis showers him with kisses along his neck, leaving little bites and claiming marks, scenting him.
Harry lays Louis in the middle of the bed and takes a moment to admire the sight. His precious omega writhes on the sheets, completely flushed, hair sticking to his forehead, lips red and wet from so many kisses, eyes shiny, and his collar gleaming beautifully. Harry drools, already wanting to have his mouth all over his omega’s body.
Harry takes off his shirt, and Louis starts to want to remove his own clothes, but Harry interrupts him, holding his hands, causing Louis to whine softly, “No, I’ll do it. Isn’t this my gift? Shouldn’t I be the one unwrapping it?.” Louis nods, completely dazed, not a single coherent thought in his head.
“I-I’m yours, alpha,” Louis murmurs, feeling Harry’s hands worshipping his entire body.
“Yes, doll, you’re all mine, only mine.” Harry begins lowering the omega’s dress, revealing his chest in shades of pink and red, the prettiest nipples peeking out. Harry, being just a man, attacks them hungrily, a lovely button in his mouth and the other between his fingers, then switching to give both the same treatment, leaving Louis breathless. “I’m very lucky, aren’t I?” The kisses travel down the soft belly of his omega while his hands stroke the sides of him.
Once he finishes kissing Louis’s stomach, Harry’s fingers finish pulling the dress off the omega’s body, revealing his thighs, so soft. Harry tests their softness with his lips, tracing every inch while removing the garment until it falls somewhere in the room. He plants a kiss on the top of his omega’s foot.
Louis, on the other hand, feels like he’s unraveling under Harry’s hands, his pussy already so wet he can feel it soaking his legs and the sheets. Feeling a bit embarrassed, he tries to close his legs, but Harry doesn’t allow it—he opens them wide, giving himself a front-row view of Louis’s soaked panties.
“So wet. my little doll just can’t help but drip for me.” Louis goes wild with the dirty talk; he can’t help it, his usually so polite and shy alpha is now right in front of him, speaking like this. You can’t blame him for getting even wetter.
A kiss lands right in the center of his panties, making him moan and beg for more. Harry smiles at how undone Louis looks. His fingers hook onto the sides of the tiny panties, pulling them off to reveal the prettiest pussy, pink everywhere, lips shiny and wet. Harry tosses the panties aside and places his hands on his omega’s thighs, squeezing the area, feeling completely crazy to taste him.
“I’m going to eat you now, baby.” Louis nods frantically, finally.
Harry’s mouth on his most sensitive spot feels like touching heaven. At first, he seems a bit unsure, like feeling his way around. His lips leave soft kisses all over the area, exploring with a tenderness that makes Louis tremble. All hesitation fades away when the alpha’s tongue starts slowly tracing the wet folds of the omega, licking up every drop in its path, making Louis shiver.
“Fuck,” Harry moans, mouth still pressed to his pussy, “you taste so damn good, baby.”
Harry keeps playing with Louis’s pussy, now savoring his clit, using his teeth gently—not hurting him but turning Louis into a mess of moans, whimpers, and trembling thighs.
Louis’s back arches uncontrollably, fingers tangled in Harry’s curls, grinding his soaked pussy against his alpha’s face. He feels Harry’s tongue bury deep inside while one of his hands goes straight to playing with his clit again. Louis doesn’t last long after that— all the previous overstimulation plus his alpha’s tongue makes him come, soaking Harry’s face even more.
“I-I’m sorry, alpha,” Louis tries to apologize in a shaky voice for coming without warning.
Harry kisses his girl’s pussy once more after cleaning it all, not wasting a drop of the most delicious juice he’s ever tasted. “Don’t be sorry, baby.” Harry kisses him gently. “Umm, you’re delicious, did you know that?” With his fingers still wet, he slips them into Louis’s mouth so he can taste himself. “Sweet all over.” Louis nods, completely gone.
“Want to keep going, omega? Or we can save it for another time.” Harry kisses Louis’s forehead and cheeks, adjusting his hair. His adorable omega leans into his touch like a kitten.
Louis shakes his head at Harry’s last words. “No, alpha, please. I want you today. I want your cock inside me,” he murmurs, eyes locked on Harry’s.
“Alright, beautiful,” Harry replies, kissing him again, this time on the lips.
“Umm... can I suck your cock, Alpha?” Louis whispers, feeling Harry’s hard shaft pressed against his thigh.
“So polite baby, but that’s not nece—”
“I want it. I want you to feed me with your cock. Don’t you want to keep me full, alpha?” Louis looks up at him with wide, shining eyes and a pout decorating his lips. Harry can’t resist for long.
“What a dirty mouth,” Harry murmurs, kissing him again as he rises from the bed to pull off his pants and underwear, leaving his cock fully exposed and erect. Louis drools at the sight; his alpha is majestic and all his.
“You love my dirty mouth just like I love your cock, alpha,” Louis says, getting off the bed to push Harry down onto the edge. The omega drops to his knees, face right in front of that huge cock—long, thick, red with excitement, and dripping pre-cum at the tip. Louis’s mouth and pussy turn to water; he’s never had one this big before. It’s a little intimidating.
He starts at the tip, kissing and licking the salty, musky precum there. Harry immediately grabs Louis’s hair, holding him gently without moving his hand, letting his omega go at his own pace.
Louis wraps his lips around the tip, sucking softly. His mind empties; all he can focus on is sucking the cock in front of him.
Harry moans, feeling his omega’s warm mouth around him. “Your eyes on me, baby,” he whispers. Louis looks up immediately and starts going down, swallowing as much as he can. Harry tightens his grip on Louis’s hair—not hurting him, but making the omega moan around him and tremble.
Feeling that, Louis slowly moves his head back and forth, mouth wet and eager, trying to take in all he can. He relaxes his jaw and breathes through his nose; tears start streaming from his eyes as Harry’s cock slides deep into his throat.
“W-wonderful,” Harry murmurs, jaw clenched and voice thick.
Louis starts a slow rhythm, sucking as much as possible until he decides to pull back to speak. “Y-you can fuck my mouth if you want, alpha,” he says, immediately diving back to bury that cock in his mouth.
“Fuck, yes,” Harry growls as he begins to enter her gently. “Your little mouth, was made for my cock, baby.” Louis moans around him, spit dripping from his lips, eyes watery as he looks up at Harry. “Tell me if it’s too much,” Harry warns, and Louis nods.
Harry starts moving deeper, finding his own rhythm, penetrating Louis’s mouth with controlled, slow thrusts, careful not to hurt his omega.
Louis lets out a whimper from the sensation, making Harry growl in response, picking up the pace with stronger thrusts. The movement causes Louis to shed tears, making a mess of his tears, spit, and Harry’s cum.
“Come on, baby, that’s enough,” Harry says, his voice trembling. Louis pouts when Harry pulls his cock out of his mouth, replacing it quickly with his tongue. “Delicious.”
“Umm, H-Hazz, I want your cum in my stomach, please,” Louis says as he sits on his boyfriend’s lap, caressing his face. Apparently, Harry had taken off his glasses in the heat of the moment, and Louis just noticed. His pussy drips seeing how handsome Harry looks—still, “Fuck me with your glasses on, alpha.”
Harry growls, “Lou— I— I don’t want to hurt you.”
“You won’t, your alpha would never hurt me. And even if you have a huge cock, it doesn’t matter, I want it so much inside me, please,” Louis kisses Harry’s face, giving him adorable puppy eyes.
“Baby—”
“And you don’t have to worry because I’m on birth control and I’m clean. You’re my alpha and I want you inside me, I’m sure of it.” Harry growls, kissing Louis fiercely and flipping him over so his omega is beneath him. He takes a moment to admire him.
Louis meets his gaze, blushing from all the attention. “What’s wrong?”
“You’re a goddess. I can’t believe how lucky I am that you’re mine.” Louis smiles hearing that and pulls him into a kiss, this time a sweet one. He loves sweet kisses.
“I’m all yours, alpha.” Another kiss lands on Harry’s chest, near his heart. “But please, I want you to fuck me.”
Harry nods, completely gone, surrendering to his omega’s desires.
“Yes, my love.” His hands are already caressing Louis’s small body.
The rest is a blur of sensations. Louis watches clearly as his alpha opens his legs again to touch his already wet pussy. Louis is just a bundle of moans and whimpers while Harry lubricates himself with his omega’s juices.
The first thrust is careful, slow, exploratory, while Harry groans at how warm and tight his omega feels, quickly getting used to the sensation. The rhythm stays slow and torturous for Louis, who can’t stop arching his back from the pleasure but lets Harry take the lead... for now.
Harry adapts quickly, and before long he’s pounding deep inside his omega with force and determination. Louis lets out the sweetest moans and whispered words, lost in the feeling of his big alpha inside him. They continue like this, growls and moans of pleasure for several more minutes until Louis takes control.
“I-I want to ride you.”
Harry looks surprised for a moment, then nods breathlessly once he processes the words. Carefully, he flips them over, making sure not to hurt Louis. Once on top, Louis settles in and lets out a low moan as he feels his alpha filling him completely from this position.
From above, he can see Harry’s face clearly but something’s missing. Oh, right... the glasses.
Louis scans the room and spots them on the nightstand. With slow, sensual movements, he leans down to grab them without pulling Harry out of him, feeling how the pressure shifts and his body grows even more sensitive.
“You were missing your glasses, alpha.” He carefully sets them on the bridge of Harry’s nose and smiles at the sight of him complete, perfect. His pussy drips more as he takes in the green sparkling eyes, swollen, red, and glistening lips, still shining with traces of their juices. He looks flawless.
With that thought, he starts moving slowly at first, circling his hips, savoring every inch of Harry’s thick, pulsing cock inside him. "H-Harry," Louis moans, throwing his head back with a loud groan, one hand braced on Harry's chest to prop himself up.
“You feel so good, omega,” Harry growls, gripping his hips hard, marking his skin. “You’re perfect. Up there, you look perfect.”
Louis’s movements become more rhythmic, each praise pushing him closer to the edge. He can’t believe he could ever get tired of riding this cock. His necklace bounces against his chest with every thrust.
“Al-alpha... uhgmm... y-you’re so big...” he pants, one hand resting on his belly. Every bounce makes him feel something bulge inside him. Harry’s cock. “I-I can feel you here,” he whispers, taking one of Harry’s hands and placing it where he was touching moments before.
Harry groans loudly, feeling it. “I fill you up so well, don’t I?”
Louis nods frantically, now moving clumsily, desperate, chasing his release. “Y-yes... you fill me so much, so deep...” Louis leans down to kiss Harry as they both seek their release. “H-Hazz I want your knot.”
Harry nods without hesitation, fully ready to give his omega everything he desires.
Watching Louis lose himself riding his cock was driving Harry wild, his flushed chest while Harry’s hands teased his sensitive nipples, his hair a mess, eyes shining with tears, and of course, his red lips from all the kisses and bites Harry had left there. Not to mention the sweet and very filthy sounds he was making. Harry loved it. His name always sounded so good coming from those lips. No matter if someone complained about the noise later, Harry didn’t care about the rest of the world when his omega looked like that, riding his cock.
Louis kept riding hard, his movements frantic, but Harry found them so mesmerizing that he had to help his precious omega with strong, fast thrusts, his balls slapping against Louis’s ass with every hit.
“Come for me, omega,” Harry ordered in a low voice, lifting his hips to meet every descent of Louis’s. “I want to feel you come around me.”
With a muffled cry and trembling thighs, Louis gave in. He let go, breaking into a thousand pieces over his alpha, his body clenching tightly around him, pulling him into climax.
Harry groaned, deep and guttural, emptying inside him with a force that left him trembling, his knot locking them together as he came inside his omega.
They stayed like that, panting, skin on skin, wrapped in each other’s heat. Louis rested against his alpha’s chest, letting his breathing calm down little by little. Harry started planting soft, loving kisses all over Louis’s face, then down with licks and gentle bites toward his neck, stopping right at the spot where someday he would leave his mark.
“You okay, omega?” he asked after a few minutes, his voice low and warm.
Louis opened his eyes and looked right at him, with a soft smile.
“I’m perfect.” He kissed him tenderly, trying to convey everything he felt. “You made me feel so good the entire time. It was perfect, alpha.”
Harry blushed and smiled against his lips, returning the kiss sweetly. Then he kissed him more and more, like he couldn’t stop, like he needed to memorize every inch of his skin. Louis laughed between sighs, the tickling of the kisses making him chuckle softly.
One last long, warm kiss landed on his lips, and Louis received it delighted.
“Sleep, baby. I’ll take care of you,” Harry whispered, arranging their bodies in a comfortable position for Louis, who was already starting to close his eyes from exhaustion. Harry watched him, enchanted, and couldn’t help but kiss him once more before staying still.
He waited a few minutes until the knot softened and carefully withdrew from his omega, who whimpered in his sleep at the loss of contact. Harry headed to the bathroom, grabbed a clean towel, and quickly cleaned himself, eager to get back to bed with Louis. When he finished, he took another towel and gently cleaned his girl.
“Umm... alpha...” Louis murmured, feeling the touch on his sensitive skin.
“I’m here, baby. Just cleaning you up,” Harry replied softly. Louis mumbled a quiet “okay” and let himself be cared for. Once clean, Harry tucked him in lovingly and left a kiss on his forehead.
Then he went to check on Vixie and found her sleeping on the sofa. Without disturbing her, he replaced her water bowl, checked that the door was locked, and returned to the bedroom after grabbing a glass of water—carrying another one for when his omega woke up.
Holding his omega close to his chest, Harry fell asleep, having the best dream of all.

The next morning, Louis woke up to the sound of noises coming from the kitchen. When he saw Harry in nothing but his underwear making breakfast, he couldn't help but run to him, leap into his arms, and kiss him deeply. And if Harry devoured Louis right there in the kitchen… Well, that stays between them.
Louis was traveling the next day, so he had spent the entire previous one in bed with his alpha. Now they stood at the train station, waiting for his train to arrive. His friends had come too, to see him off.
"Something's different," Robin said as a greeting, narrowing her eyes at both of them.
Louis just smiled, feeling Harry’s arms tighten around him from behind. He knew his alpha was reluctant to let him go, especially after the time they'd shared together.
"It's true, it's true! Did you two fuck, lou?" Olivia blurted out.
Harry blushed instantly, hiding his face in the crook of Louis' neck, while Louis answered with a joyful, "Yes!"
Olivia let out a happy squeal, and Robin simply looked up at the sky and said, "Finally."
"Wait, are you two together now?" the alpha asked again, raising a brow.
Harry nodded confidently. He knew how much Robin cared for Louis, so he wanted to be the one to confirm it.
Another ‘finally’, Robin murmured, before pulling both of them into a hug. "You look great, babe… doesn't even look like you're leaving" Robin commented.
Harry let out a quiet groan at the memory, wrapping his arms around his omega again. Louis shot a warning glance to Robin.
"That’s what a good cock does," Olivia added, still typing away on her phone without looking up.
“I'm just happy to see my family again," Louis said, gripping Harry's hands firmly where they rested around his waist. "My alpha... not so much," he added with a laugh, though in truth, he didn’t want to be apart from Harry either, especially after the night they'd had.
"I'm happy too... I’m just going to miss you a lot," Harry murmured, kissing his omega’s cheek.
"You two are disgustingly sweet," Robin teased. Louis gave her a playful punch on the arm.
The sound of the train pulling into the station cut through the moment.
"We’ll say goodbye now, so you can have a proper goodbye to your alpha," Olivia said and both she and Robin hugged Louis. "Say hi to your parents, okay? Have a safe trip, sweetheart. Your gifts are waiting for you at home." She winked at him, knowing how much Louis loved opening presents at Christmas, that’s why they had sent them all to his house.
Louis smiled, heart full. "We’re going to miss you, babe. Have fun and call us," Robin added.
He hugged them both tightly. Even if it was just four days, he already missed them terribly. "I’m going to miss you two a lot. I left your gifts with Harry, ask for them," he said. Both girls nodded.
"We love you, sweetie. Let us know when you arrive," Olivia said.
Louis nodded, and after one last hug, watched them step back to give him space to say goodbye to Harry.
"Come here, baby," Harry said, opening his arms.
Louis ran into them, finding comfort in his warmth. "I’m going to miss you so much, alpha," he murmured, while Harry wrapped him in his scent, making him feel safe.
"I will too, my love. Your birthday and Christmas presents are waiting for you at home. Open them when the time is right," Harry whispered.
Louis nodded, then added, "I left yours with Gemma. Call me when you open them, okay?"
Harry kissed his omega’s lips once more in agreement.
Louis smiled softly and rested his head against Harry’s chest, soaking in the sweetness of his voice… until the station’s loudspeaker announced the train’s imminent departure.
"Goodbye, alpha. I love you," Louis said, kissing him one last time.
"Love you too my baby, see you soon. Call me, okay?" Louis nodded eagerly and whispered against his lips, "Always."
One final kiss. One last smile. Then Louis waved goodbye to Robin, Olivia and his Alpha before running toward the train, excited to see his family again after so many months apart.
His stay at his parents' house was perfect. He was greeted at Doncaster station with hugs and kisses, while his little brothers excitedly waved a glitter-covered sign with his name on it. Louis almost burst into tears at the sight.
His parents threw him a small birthday party. Louis opened all his presents, leaving Harry's for last. His sweet alpha had made him a CD titled "Songs That Remind Me of You," and judging by the dates, it seemed he'd been adding songs to it since they first spoke. His parents affectionately teased him when he saw how red he turned, and all Louis could do was run to his room to call his alpha, wishing he had him by his side to kiss him a lot.
Christmas was just as magical. His little brothers ran around the living room in their tiny festive outfits, his dad cooked dinner with his mom, and Louis talked to Harry on the phone until his little demons stole his phone so they could talk to the alpha too. Louis introduced them to Harry as soon as he got home, and from then on, whenever they saw Louis talking to Harry, they immediately stole the phone.
New Year's Eve arrived, and Louis welcomed in with his boyfriend and his best friends, surrounded by midnight kisses and glitter scattered on the floor of his apartment. He felt fulfilled, content, and truly happy to have his alpha by his side to celebrate.
That midnight kiss completely melted Louis, and when everyone went home, he had his own private celebration: riding his alpha's cock until he was exhausted.

Weeks later, the omega faced his dreaded calculus exam, the last of the semester, for which he had prepared so hard with Harry. He needed to pass. He needed to feel proud of himself and make his alpha proud too.
His Alpha, who had been studying with him every night, building his confidence, hugging him whenever Louis felt like everything was falling apart. Louis had wished Harry could be there waiting for him outside during the exam, but he couldn't; Harry had other things to do. Still, the night before, Harry had kissed him and whispered over and over that everything would be okay.
Louis sighed at the memory.
Now, he sat next to Olivia, both equally nervous as the teacher handed out the exams.
An hour and a half later, Louis emerged victorious: he had passed the exam with a perfect score. Pride surged through him, and he couldn't wait to tell Harry.
He ran out of the classroom, about to pull out his phone, when he saw him: Harry, leaning against the wall across from the door, a wide smile on his lips, soft eyes and arms open wide, waiting for his omega.
Louis could only laugh with joy as he ran straight into his alpha's arms, instantly enveloped by Harry's scent.
"You came, alpha!" Louis said excitedly, his voice muffled against Harry's chest as he hugged him tightly.
"Of course I did, baby. How could I leave you alone today?" Harry replied, hugging his girlfriend tightly. He was supposed to be at a meeting with some classmates from his photography class, but he decided Louis was so far more important. He hadn't been able to see him come in, but he'd come to wait for him anyway. "How did it go?" he asked after a moment.
"I got a perfect score, Hazz!" Louis said, jumping up and down in joy instead, the purest, happiest smile on his lips, which Harry immediately kissed.
"I knew you'd make it, baby. I'm so proud of you." Louis looked up at him, love radiating from every inch of his face.
"I love you."
Harry smiled and kissed him sweetly. His sweet little omega always caught him off guard, and he didn't mind at all. He loved him just as much.
"I love you more, my baby." Louis blushed, beaming with happiness. Since being with Harry, he had known no other emotion than pure joy and love.
"Come on, baby, I'm going to take you out to eat and buy you whatever you want as a reward for being so smart." Harry says and kisses his omega’s forehead and lips.
Louis immediately began excitedly listing everything he wanted to eat.
Harry couldn't believe this adorable omega, wrapped in such a precious package, was completely his.
His.
Forever.
