Jonah was looking around the house at all the pictures of his brother and papa “where am I?” Jonah asked TK one day “what do you mean bud?” TK asked Jonah.
“I’m missing.” Jonah said as he pointed to a picture of TK and Carlos at their wedding along with other pictures of the couple and the 126 in the loft.
TK looked at all the pictures and Jonah was right, he’s not in any of the pictures around the house “why don’t I talk to papi about getting new pictures taken with you in them.” TK told Jonah who smiled.
Once Carlos got home from work he saw Jonah sitting on the couch in his PJs since he got home late “papi!” Jonah said “hey angel baby!” Carlos said when he picked up Jonah and kissed his head “can we get pictures of me with you guys?” Jonah asked Carlos who looked at TK “I’m missing.” Jonah told Carlos.
“Oh no! You can’t be missing from our family pictures!” Carlos said, which made TK smile “dada and I will talk about when we can get pictures done so our baby boy is with us!” Carlos said while he kissed Jonah’s head.
After Jonah was in bed TK and Carlos talked on the couch as they did need new family pictures since they haven’t had any true professional pictures done of just the two of them together.
Carlos said that they could use the ranch as the backdrop and looked up professional photographs that are willing to go to the ranch to get pictures taken.
One week later!
TK’s job was to take Jonah to the store and find an outfit that would work for family pictures as they decided on jeans and a shade of blue as the top with Jonah’s boots.
“Do you want to wear your new cowboy hat that papi got you?” TK asked Jonah who said yes.
After shopping with pictures sent to Carlos to get his approval they headed home as Friday is the day of getting their pictures done.
TK and Carlos found blue shirts as they had a navy blue and light blue shirt that they could wear as Jonah’s shirt is royal blue so they have different shades of blue.
Picture day!
TK woke up and went to make a simple breakfast before he woke up Jonah to eat before a bath and helped him get dressed for their pictures.
Carlos was getting his outfit out as he made sure it was wrinkled free as everyone was wearing jeans and boots.
After Jonah’s bath TK helped Jonah get dressed in a basic T-shirt as they didn’t want any mess on Jonah’s shirt before their pictures.
“Once we get to the ranch papi or I will take you inside and get your shirt on you and brush your hair.” TK told Jonah who said ok while he was so excited about getting a picture of himself for the wall.
Once at the ranch TK helped Jonah out of the truck as he took his hand as they walked into the house “oh my loves!” Andrea said when she hugged Jonah “hi abuela!” Jonah said “oh mi amor! Are you ready for family pictures?” Andrea asked Jonah “yeah! You can be in them!” Jonah said while he smiled.
“Jo, remember we ask first not demand please.” Carlos said while he looked at his mom with a ‘sorry’ look “it’s ok Carlito, Jonah is just excited.” Andrea told her son.
Once the photographer got to the ranch Carlos showed them where to set up while TK was finishing up Jonah’s hair with some gel to hold it down “go see papi, he’s with the photographer bud.” TK said while he had to fix his hair.
Carlos wanted to get some single pictures of Jonah to add to the wall in their loft “smile Jo!” TK said when Jonah did with a cute oversized toddler smile that made everyone smile.
TK and Carlos got pictures together before they had Jonah join them with Jonah sitting on the fence with TK and Carlos behind him.
Andrea got a few pictures with her grandson holding his hand as he smiled at her.
TK held Jonah when they got some pictures together before TK handed Jonah to Carlos to do the same thing.
Carlos had an idea as he went to the barn and got a horse ready to go for Jonah to ride along with a helmet.
TK brought Jonah to the barn with the photographer who took pictures of the brothers walking together.
Carlos smiled at his boys “Pony!” Jonah said with a smile “do you want to ride the pony?” TK asked Jonah who smiled but a bit scared.
“Will he bite?” Jonah asked Carlos “no baby, not with papi showing you how to pet the pony.” TK told Jonah who said ok before Carlos helped Jonah pet the horse.
Carlos picked Jonah up and placed him on the horse “papi is here sweetheart.” Carlos said before TK took pictures of his boys together on his phone.
After pictures Jonah needed a nap so Carlos took Jonah to his old room and got him comfortable in bed “night baby, have a good nap.” Carlos said, kissing Jonah’s head.
