With the ground shaking the castle is lifted up into the air on a pillar of a red and black slimy substance called gloom. Chasms opened up in the earth leading possibly hundreds of miles under the surface, gloom spilling out of them while rock tumbles away from mountains and hillsides to reveal caves long forgotten, and in one of these caves lives a race of cats called the Fofurro. A gray and white tabby walks by the opening carrying a basket of berries and mushrooms, they drop the basket to shield their eyes from the sunlight, after a moment of staring they drop down onto all fours and run off.

Four Fofurros walked up to the opening. One with black spots on dusty gray fur with big ears and yellow eyes (charcoal bangle named Ryshrema).
Then a shaggy looking Fofurro with black, orange, brown, and white splotches and soft green eyes (Calico Laperm named Zaxo).
The next is Cream white colored and has horizontal light brown stripes going down their legs with two thirds of the tail the same light brown, their face has the light brown stripes going under and in between the blue grey eyes and the ears are brown as well (Siberian cat named Misco).
Last one has an orange back with darker orange stripes and a white underside with an elegant fluffy orange and white tail and his ears curled back slightly (Tabby American Curl named Domino)

Once I left my village and me and my friends walked up to the hole I covered my eyes and hissed at whatever was so bright I slowly uncovered my eyes but did not look directly at the light till my eyes were adjusted. When I stepped out I tentatively sniffed the air it smelt of wet rock, something sour (sour like citric acid) and something almost fruity.
When I looked out I saw a bunch of.. Not-moss, it was green like moss but it was tall and swayed in the wind, moss is not tall and it doesn't move in the wind, there was also not-moss with color at the end. To the south there is a giant stone bowl, to the east there is a bunch of tall bushes that have strangely long stems so the leaves are high above the ground,
southwest there are columns and bricks that are dusty white in color. Humongous rocks that reached up to the sky surrounded us.
“Well this is it”Zaxo said
Ryshrema nodded“So you all best be ready young ones”
“Young ones!”
“here we go again” sighed Misco
“Your only older than me and Zax by a month what are YOU talking about ‘young ones’”
“Must you always be like this Domino” Ryshrema asked
“No, only when you act like your better than us just because your Older” Domino stated,
“alright guys that's enough we need to decide what direction we each are going in.” said Zaxo” I call going East!'' she shouted quickly.
“hey no fair i wanted to go that way!’’ whined Domino
“Me too that way looks to lead to a possibly a bigger area.” Ryshrema motioned over to the path, Zaxo sighed “Misco are you alright looking around this area?” I looked around and it was a pretty big area. “I think Demi should cover half and I will cover the other half.”
‘’NOOOOooooooo.!”
“Domino you heard them.” Ryshrema smirked
“No!”
“It's just a half Demi and you can join me and Ryi once you finish scouting” Zaxo explained
“Fine but i want to do the right half” Domino Pouted
“That's ok. . . We should probably head off now right?” I asked nervously
“Yes, let's get going” declared Ryshrema as she began walking away, Zaxo following after saying goodbye.
Me and Domino walked over to the left side of the stone bowl making sure nothing possibly dangerous was around us while I tell him “So i’ll start from here and go to the left you can go to the right and remember to document about everything you find”
“Ya ya I will” he said, seeming distracted. hm well he must just be excited like I am.
I make my way back up to the tall bushes climbing up slopes, once I am standing on the edge of the tall bushes I reach up my front paws and grab onto the stem digging my claws into the wood doing the same with my back paws i began climbing up the strange tall bush when i got to the branches there is a mess of twigs and string with a small speckled white stone in it I picked up the stone examining it ‘I’m sure this will be a great object to bring back.’ ‘ yes yes tis the most object ever tis perfect’ I shake my head stupid goblin voice, I put the stone in the items pouch on my sash\belt and jumped down then I started checking the other tall stemmed bushes

“It's just a half,” I mocked once I was out of Misco’s earshot I snorted “just a half!! This place is gigantic how am I supposed to do this much and then join Ryshrema and Zaxo?, I bet they were lying they knew I wouldn't have time to join them stupid Ryshrema stupid Zaxo stupid Misco! For making me do this.'' After a few minutes of seething I'm on top of some elevated land, I look over at Misco, he is climbing the bushes, then I look over to the east, I can't see Ryshrema and Zaxo anywhere. . .
I stand on my back paws and look around, there is not much the green spiky stuff is everywhere, there is a structure of brown clay (it's not clay) with red creatures around it, but it's on Misco’s side so it doesn't matter. there are some normal bushes and the bigger bushes and the towering rocks surrounding this place so nothing much. ‘There I’ve looked around:) Now I can catch up to Ryi and Zax!’ I drop down and run towards the east pass

After I finish looking at and around the tall bushes I set off towards a structure i saw while at the top of one of the bushes it has some creatures around a fire and two towers of wood both with cloth hanging from them one is taller than the other a creature is flying, circling around the taller structure I wonder if it is protecting or is going to attack the other creatures probably protecting because the other creatures are dancing around the fire though another is standing on the smaller tower, I wonder if they would let me join them? I walk towards them, once I am close enough I call out “Hello! Can I join you?”
They all turned to me, one approached me I sat down with my ears forward they came closer, they are my height when I stand on my back legs, they are red like some of the lizards that i see sometimes, ears that are on either side of their head, a flat nose, and a spike coming out of their head how did i not notice the spike before I should have been more cautious.
They are sniffing me now, then they back off snorting and making strange noises, I'm sure that they are communicating. Could they understand me? Probably not. The one on the tower blew into a horn and the others ran and picked up thick sticks that were laying against a cut down stem part of the tall bushes then they ran at me holding up the thick sticks clearly meaning to attack me with them I moved to a defensive position hissing at them.
Unfortunately they were not scared of me and one of them hit me on my right shoulder I yowled and swat at them strangely nothing seemed to happen to it it was like my claws just went right through it I dodged another stick and backed up then pounced at the same one I had scratched
and dug my claws in and nothing happened?
Suddenly a sharp pain in my side like something had been stabbed into me I jumped off and looked at were I was hurt but nothing was there I noticed something small flying towards me I jumped out of the way and it landed with a thwop in the ground I leaped away and landed on a pile of mushy fruit, bones, and other things, something snapped under my paws and I was

I don't know where I am. It's so dark, I can't see anything, where am I?
Momma? Dad?
I'm scared, please help!
Zaxo and Ryshrema were the only ones who returned home
The elder decided the Abovelands were to dangerous
and families mourned those they lost.
