Mokushiroku's Tower, Hell, the Hella-verse…

Looming over a great portion of the Circle of Wrath, this massive crystal tower was easily seen, given that it was not only huge, but it shined with a brilliant light-blue hue. Given that everything around it was some kind of shade of red, it made it stick out like a sore thumb.

Even the combat-happy imps of this Circle knew better than to come near it. Within was a powerful monster and his newly formed army. The monster known as Mokushiroku (or SpaceGodzilla, as his creator, the Radical Destruction Bringer, wanted to name him).

Most of the time, he spent the hours meditating, as if waiting for something to happen. Right now, Iron Will was walking around him, the minotaur rubbing his chin. "Hello? Iron Will is bored. What do we do now, boss?"

"I'll tell you what we do." Gilda walked alongside the minotaur. "Why don't we find a random bar or something? Start a brawl? Have some drinks? The imps in this realms seem to like doing that as a passtime. I say count me the fuck in!"

"There's more to life than fightin' and brawlin', y'know. There's also making a profit!" The minotaur replied. "Maybe we could make a business out of this place! Give people tours of-"

'Don't even think about it.' Mokushiroku's voice echoed in his mind, causing him to freeze up. 'This is our fortress, not a tourist attraction.'

"But don't people take photos of this place all the time?" Brass Bolt pointed out as he tinkered away at some machines in the room next to the throne room. Sparks were flying and crashing against the crystal interior, his mechanical arms twisting metal around while an attachment to his right thumb used a blowtorch.

"He's right!" Trixie exclaimed, dramatically entering the room and causing Mokushiroku to growl. He was struggling to meditate with all the voices around him. "Trixie's greatness cannot languish! What if I lose my touch?!"

"As if you haven't already?" Gilda scoffed.

"You take that back, you flying turkey!" The unicorn shouted.

"Make me, sparkles." The griffon cracked her fists.

The argument came to a close when Mokushiroku slammed his tail down, cracking the floor and causing silence to fall upon the group. 'Right now, unless any of you has any news about portals to Equestria, then leave me be. Go explore. Just make sure to make it home safely.'

"Actually, there's something I wanna bring up." Stud Muffin was the last to walk in, the beefy Earth Pony looking quite worried.

Letting out an audible sigh, the kaiju opened his eyes, uncurling his body before landing. 'Report.'

"Haven't you noticed that Discord's been feeling...REALLY down lately?" He stated.

Gilda groaned. "It's because of Flutterwings, isn't it?"

"Don't you mean 'Fluttershy'?" Trixie wondered. "The Element of Kindness herself?"

"Whatever." The griffon replied.

Iron Will snorted. "Show more respect! She's an absolute angel! Even when my lessons almost ruined her life, she didn't hold it against me! She still wanted to be my pal!"

Stepping out of his workshop, Brass Bolt was covered in oil stains and even had a few cuts along his mechanical arms. "I think the bigger issue is that Discord is still simping over her."

'How bad is it? ' Mokushiroku asked Stud Muffin.

Nervously, he gestured to a room on the top floor. Floating over to it, the kaiju opened it up, only to have to shield his eyes from how much yellow and pink came from the room. "For fuck's sake..." Gilda groaned, face-palming at what she saw.

When Mokushiroku's eyes adjusted, he saw that the wallpaper was nothing but various Fluttershy expressions, with the furniture (sofas, chairs, windows) and other stuff (oven, TV, etc.) having her mane on them.

Discord was looking at some photos of both him and her together before he noticed the others were watching. "GAH! HAVEN'T YOU HEARD OF 'KNOCKING'?!"

"Sorry! We'll do that next time!" Stud Muffin promised.

"This is so sad." Trixie remarked. "He should be worshipping me instead!"

"Not the time, Trixie. Not the time." Iron Will shook his head before poking his head through the door. "Y'know, if you sign up for one of my seminars, these sad feelings will be gone before you know it! 'Stop being a simp! Give those bad feelings a LIMP!' How's that?"

"I don't think a sales pitch is gonna help." Brass Bolt said, watching as Discord hastily snapped his fingers, turning the room into blank crystal. "Or maybe it did?"

Stepping out of the room and giving everybody a glare, the draconequues cleared his throat. "Alright, what's the plan, Moku'? Gonna turn another city into rubble and then calling it 'saving the world'?"

'Again, that wasn't entirely my fault. We've been over this.' Mokushiroku narrowed his gaze at the magical being. 'Now, listen up. What you're going through, I know how it feels. The idea of never seeing somebody you love ever again. It tears you up from the inside.'

He gave a sad glance towards Stud Muffin, who suddenly found himself crying without realizing it. He tried to wipe the tears away, but they kept coming. "Can I have a minute?" He asked.

'Of course.' Mokushiroku said gently before turning back to Discord. 'But fear not. Follow me and you'll see Fluttershy again. Better yet, she will not longer be in the arms of that fool, Rhymey! '

"Yeah, remind me of THAT guy! Seriously! You know he's probably mind-controlling her, right? I saw it with my own eyes!" The draconequus huffed, crossing his arms as he sat on a nearby bench made of salami he made for himself. "Ew. This bench is out of date."

Saying that caused the kaiju's brow to rise. 'Hypnosis? I didn't know he could do that. This is...upsetting news.' He clenched his claws. 'There really is no low the Space Ponies won't sink to in order to maintain their fragile need for control. They shall soon see that, through our chaos, that they are not strong at all! They will...hold on.'

He floated away from the magical being, sniffing the air. "I swear, I didn't burn the pizza rolls. Iron Will knows how to cook now!" The minotaur exclaimed.

'No. It is something else.' Mokushiroku closed his eyes. 'Could it be...a tear in space/time? It's appearing all around this realm, but there could be a chance it shows up here, even for the briefest of moments. Leave me to my meditation. I will warn all of you of when this happens. Then, we begin the next phase of our plan.'

"And what might that plan be?" Brass Bolt asked. "I've been inventing all kinds of upgrades for us all when we go up against Celeso and his cronies."

"We gonna finally kick some ass and take names?" Gilda wondered.

'All in good time. I'm also awaiting our chance to have vengeance. But first, if our vengeance is to bear fruit, we must give the seeds of revenge time to grow.' He ominously replied before turning to Discord with a smile. 'I'm sure you'll understand VERY well of what I mean when the time comes.'

"Do you ALWAYS have to be so cryptic? We all know you're cool and junk." Discord replied before snapping his fingers, creating a remote that turned on a random television. It began to play footage of Fizzarolli, the imp's antics causing the chaotic being to chuckle. "Now, shoo. I'm gonna be raiding the fridge and eating my feelings soon."

"You do that. We're just gonna lounge some more." Gilda turned away from the sight. "Hey, guys. If I ever fall in love, snap me out of it before I end up like him."

"I dunno. Falling in love is the greatest thing!" Stud Muffin replied. "It's kind of like friendship, but there's a much deeper bond to make! One that's pretty special!"

"How would you know? Ever fallen in love?" Iron Will asked.

That caused him to fall silent, his pupils starting to tremble before he shook his head. "I dunno. I just...I just know."

Back with Discord, the screen on his television changed to various scenes of his past. They included when he spent his first day with Fluttershy to every single time that he did some chaotic antics and she loved them all. Despite the fact that they apparently made NO sense together...she didn't seem to mind. In fact, she seemed thrilled by it.

It was something the draconequus pondered a lot about as he watched the footage.

However, the screen would soon change to when Rhymey showed up. Contrary to what the Space Ponies said, he was rude to everybody whenever they asked any questions about how he kept ranting about how he was from space and was on some kind of mission. Twilight and company wanted to help, but he kept insisting on doing things his way.

Which basically meant nearly tearing through the entire town until he found the 'Rainbow Stones'. The Equestrians didn't know that this was foreshadowing to the coming of Titan, but still.

Anyway, Discord scowled when he saw the memories of how Rhymey kept hounding Fluttershy, courting her, even as she started to get uncomfortable with his advances. Of course, Discord and Angel Bunny had set aside their differences to keep him from harassing her too often, but, after the Space Pony had left, Discord would come across another unpleasant memory.

The day he met Titan. He didn't know how he got to where the evil spirit of the vile sorcerer was dwelling, but, before he knew it, he had lost his control over his chaotic energy, transforming him into a vicious monster that laid waste to Unicornicopia before seemingly being obliterated.

"Hmph. Not my finest performance, I'll tell you that." He scoffed. "Where was the razzle-dazzle?! The Discord charm?!"

Sighing, he took a bite out of his ice cream (with even the very cup gaining the same texture and taste as the food). "It's sad, isn't it? I'm the embodiment of chaos and disorder...and I couldn't even muster the power to confess how I felt. What is this? Some sappy rom-com?"

And so, he continued to sink into his depression, still wishing he could see his beloved Fluttershy's smile again. Given Mokushiroku's comment about there being another tear in space/time happening, though, he had some hope of that happening, but still. If he wasn't depressed, he was as bored as the others here.

"Maybe I'll visit that hotel Moku' keeps talking about? There's no way that 'Alastor' character is more popular than me. I'll prove it!" He exclaimed before getting out a list, quickly writing that down. "Maybe I'll grow bigger antlers than his right in front of him? That outta mildly inconvenience him enough to my liking."

Meanwhile at Fluttershy's Cottage, Equestria, the Hasbro Universe...

There was a time in which Rhymey would lovingly sleep beside his wife, feeling nothing but joy. The knowledge that he had married the pegasus of his dreams always cheered him up, no matter how bad his mood.

But, lately, things have utterly soured. Ever since the attack of Mokushiroku, their marriage had hit an all-time low. Then again, was this marriage crumbling so suddenly...or were the cracks showing up before that?

Anyway, he looked at the other side of the bed, Fluttershy having scooted away from him. She was almost at the other edge of the bed, looking unhappy as she tried to sleep. "Beautiful wife, though you have that ugly scar on your chest...

...why not lay beside me and rest? "

He got nothing, causing him to narrow his eyes and get up. "Your obsession over you losing your animals is getting annoying.

With my emotions, are you toying? "

The further silent treatment she gave him only made him angrier. Grumbling, he suddenly felt his mechanical arm spark, as if his anger was causing the circuitry to overheat. Covering his mouth, Rhymey waited until he was outside before kicking a nearby rock and slashing his sword against a nearby tree.

"Damn it all! Nothing's going right!

All I get from here these days is spite! " He ranted.

"Her animals are annoying! Her attitude is sour!

She's supposed to be as gentle and delicate and submissive as a flower! "

That's when he felt a tinge of fear. "My 'Calming Gaze'...it's also not working as well as before.

Ever since a month or so ago, I've been having to use it more.

She keeps questioning me and questioning me and my hypnotic gaze isn't working as well!

Am I losing my touch? I can't tell! "

He continued to pace around outside, his remaining good hand trembling. "The deal...it was supposed to last for all time!

She was nice and kind and she wouldn't mock me whenever I rhymed!

Memories of that 'deal' he made to ensure his marriage to Fluttershy raced through his mind, sweat dripping down his body as he started to bite his fingernails. "My power...it can't be fading! Not now!

I need to keep her from leaving me...but how? "

With Fluttershy, she was, indeed, giving her husband the silent treatment. 'I can't do this anymore. He keeps treating me like some toy to keep in his posssession. What he did with the animals when I was gone...that was the last straw! But...I don't want to leave him.'

Her eyes glowed a faint shade of yellow. 'I can't leave him. Why would I...? ' She shook her head, frustration building up within herself. 'Why do I feel so confused about this?! I need to head out tomorrow. Clear my head. Maybe that'll work? '

Meanwhile at Lightning Dawn's House...

Despite being fully repaired since the last intense training exercise with his mentor, Swift Star couldn't help but feel something odd race through his circuitry.

The best way he could describe it was that his chest region felt heavier than usual. He kept simulating the motion of sighing at random whenever he processed the various insults Lightning shouted at him. He also kept looking through his memory banks and seeing every single time his allies lost against their foes.

"Is this...melancholy?" He wondered. "No. It cannot be. I am a machine. Lightning Dawn has made that very clear." He looked at his chest, noticing that there were still a few more dents from the punches and kicks he had received. "VERY clear."

He stood up, processing how to handle this situation. "Perhaps...I should collect more data. Being Lightning's Dawn's pupil is my purpose...but...if I were his...friend...maybe he would feel an increase in positivity?" He wondered, remembering the teamwork and camaraderie that the Equestrians showed. "But where to get the data from?"

As he sat outside of the house, he thought of his options. Rarity? Too busy and Starla would likely give him an earful for that. Applejack? Possibly, but she was also probably too busy.

Another name came to mind. "Pinkie Pie...has been described by Lightning and Starla as 'airheaded' and 'annoying'. But...what if she knows things about teamwork and friendship that they have not bothered to ask her about? Very well. I will gain data from her starting tomorrow."

When he said that, his memory banks then started to bring up images of the pink Earth Pony. For some reason, Swift Star found himself unable to stop staring at those memories, his audio processors tuning out everything else until all he heard was her voice.

"Hmmm...fascinating. Am I...drawn to her voice? To her enthusiasm? To her...smile?" He would ponder that for the whole night, looking up at the night sky as he continued to look through his memory banks.
