Chapter 1: Into the Theater

Chapter Text

Across the Archipelago and beyond, a bright white light surrounded Hunters, Riders, Berkians, and Dragons, and summoning them to the mystic Room of Unity in a Limbo dimension.

"Wha-?" Was the last thing spoken by Hiccup Haddock before he was in a dark room with seats, draped dark red, and a large black box in front of him. The room suddenly began rapidly filling with people and dragons. First came Toothless, Astrid, and the other dragons and their dragons.

"Hiccup! What did you do this time?" Snotlout demanded.

"What makes you think I have something to do with this?" He asked his cousin, scandalized.

"You always have something to do with it!"

Hiccup was about to retort when the Vikings and Dragons of Berk began filling in.

"Son?" His father, Stoick, asked in disbelief. "What's going on? Why are you here? Where are we?"

"Jeez Dad, give me a chance to figure that out," Hiccup replied sarcastically.

"Woah, is this Vallhalla?" Tuffnut asked in awe.

Astrid pinched the bridge of her nose. "Probably not, Tuff,"

Before anyone else could utter another statement, the room glowed again and when it disappeared, it revealed Viggo, Ryker, and some Dragon Hunters.

"You!" Hiccup was about to lunge at the leader of the Dragon Hunters when suddenly and see-through barrier was formed.

"Enough!' A feminine voice rang out. "There will be no fighting here, you all are merely here to react!"

"Who are you?! Show yourself!" Stoick shouted.

"And what do you want with us?" Viggo added.

A woman draped in a purple cloak and hood suddenly spawned in front of them. "My name is Cinderheart," She said curtly. "You all are here to react to what mischief and missions the Dragon Riders have been getting up to at the Edge,"

A murmur went through the crowd, but Cinderheart silenced them with a glare.

"There will be no fighting. Viggo, Ryker, Dagur, and the Hunters will remain on one side of the barrier. Berkians, Riders, and Dragons on the other,"

At the mention of her brother, Heather whirled to face him. Their eyes met, and something akin to guilt flickered through his eyes, but Heather wanted nothing more than to attack him. But... the weird lady said no fighting, and if Dagur remained on his side, Heather could subside her feelings for a bit.

"How do we know we can trust you?" Astrid eyed her suspiciously.

Cinderheart put her hands up in mock surrender. "I have no reason to harm you. I only want to show you and your family what has been happening," Sudden amusement took over her vision. "Your parents will be seeing everything that has happened,"

The riders exchanged dismayed glances while the parents looked delighted at the prospect. Viggo narrowed his eyes, maybe this was an opportunity to learn more about his opponent.

"Everyone sit down now," With that, Cinderheart disappeared.

The Hunters dispersed on their side. The Berkians and Dragons sat down on theirs. With Hiccup the riders, their dragons (Including Heather and Windshear) sat in the front, with their parents (plus Gobber) sitting behind them.

Toothless warbled to Hiccup, and he sighed. "Yeah bud, I'm not exactly excited with the idea of our parents finding out about everything we've been doing,"

The black screen suddenly flickered to life and words were shown:
