That time when i realized my future was f**ked and decided to save everyone!!!

Summary:

Mediocre looks?✔
Mediocre house? ✔
Mediocre grade?✔
Mediocre salary?✔
You could say your life was pretty mediocre despite being a sorcerer until you received memories of an alternate future where your annoying kouhai, Getou, is killed by your extremely annoying kouhai, Gojo. To maintain the mediocrity of your life, you try to take matters into your own hands and decide to be a mediator in everyone's lives and marry off Getou and Gojo for a happy ending. Pretty easy, I must say, other than the fact that some complicated relationships arise from your actions. Well, good luck with that situation.

Chapter Text

Ever since day one, you have been cursed in many ways.

The first was the literal curse of being born with cursed energy—a pea-sized amount at that too—not a great start.

The second one was the curse of being a failure with unused potential, according to your elders at least.

But you couldn't help the fact that you were born with cursed energy, no matter how small it was, to a family of non-sorcerers and that you were easily distracted by just about anything and struggled to pay attention to stuff that didn't pique your interest.

At the tender age of 11, your life dramatically transformed when you encountered a middle-aged sorcerer, Asano, when her fight with a grade 1 curse ended up causing a street lamp to fall on your head. The incident not only left you with a tiny scar on the back of your head but also opened your horizons to the world of sorcery.

You were trained diligently by Asano-san, who took up the role of your mentor, and by the end of her guidance, you were left considerably stronger than your past self could imagine. However, this wave of confidence was destroyed when you began your first year at Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College. Your classmates were, how do you word it, pretty unsociable, not to mention hostile towards you. They came from very respectable clans, while you were just a slightly above-average girl from a family of muggles.

Any conversation with your peers at school was a reminder of your incapability to aid your teammates in battle and your lack of manners in addressing your superiors. Thus, your school life was considerably spent holding your tongue, leaving you way more miserable and insecure than you had imagined. Your partners, during missions, were often nice to you and marveled at your swiftness in finishing off curses, but you took it as a sign of formality. You knew your cursed technique was somewhat unique and that your skills were above average, but you had no choice but to seem as mediocre as possible. You didn't want to seem useful to the higher-ups, after all. No one should find out the other ability you had in hand.

For quite a long time, you were considered a competent second-grade sorcerer. That is, until you were called out by a certain Six-Eyes user.

"Name-chan, you're hiding something, aren't you? Your cursed energy seems strange today, for some reason." The irritatingly confident voice of your kouhai was enough to crack your calm, seemingly harmless demeanor, something you practiced very hard at maintaining.

You were seething inside by his lack of proper honorifics towards you, his senior by two years, but you had more important matters at hand. How could you tell your egotistical kouhai that last night you dreamt of him killing his boyfriend and failing to give his now-dead lover a proper burial, which led to a series of incidents that in turn led to a sequence of horrifying deaths? You knew you were weird, but you were sensible enough to know he wouldn't believe you, and frankly, you didn't want to traumatize the younger guy who was blinded by love and ego.

"Gojo-kun, are those hand prints on your neck? Must've had a freaky night yesterday." You hollered out in pretend shock. Your poor attempt at changing the subject, unfortunately, left Gojo with an even more smug expression on his handsome visage.

"You bet I did. Unfortunately, Name-chan wouldn't know the joys of having a partner when her dating experience is as limited as her cursed energy."

You wanted to pounce on him and choke him to death, but your immense amount of self-control came to good use at moments like these. Gojo was about to question you again, but you were saved when a certain dark-haired sorcerer entered the scene.

"Stop bothering Name-senpai, Satoru. She's got enough missions on her hands to make up for her lack of partners." A smooth, honey-like voice spoke.

By that time your self-control was left hanging by a thread, and you immediately left the scene to avoid giving away any important information. 'Stay calm.' You kept repeating in your head as you walked away, still hearing their laughter in the distance.

You were annoyed at them. They were cocky and rude, and to top it all off, they were also extremely strong. But you knew you had to think logically. You couldn't afford to stay mad at them for long. Especially when they were crucial in your plan to continue living your mediocre life.

'I'll make sure to save you guys. I'll put you to good use in this life.'
