This can't be happening to them.
A few days ago, the perception of Cole around Clémentine changed. All because clémentine kisses them.
Oh. They can't deny that the feeling was majestic, that they miss a lot of the lips of the other, or that probably clémentine notices the change of behavior on them.
They were sitting in the forest. Under a tree, they found himself strumming his guitar, Trying to find a chord, a melody that could distract him from the constant memory of Clémentine.
It was getting dark, but they didn't have intentions of arriving home soon. They were just crying under that tree.
They start listening to little bells. Oh no. They don't want that yarrow to look at them that way.
Eventually, the creature just arrived. Looking into Cole's teary eyes, they could only sit quietly and listen to Cole's guitar. Saying anything was useless.
Cole feels the company, even the confidence of the harker that is there, quiet, waiting for them.
Their eyes just full up with tears.
And then they just start to sing
"... I saw them in the rightest way" just humming, thinking of another thing to compare to Clémentine Beauty. That's impossible. Clémentine is so precious to Cole's eyes.

Clémentine opens their eyes all of sudden. "Do you want me to go find Cole?" Story nodded. Clementine was quite an intelligent person. They liked that.
Clémentine just sees the floor with shyness. "Oh, I don't think I am the proper person to do that, story" they rubbed an arm with his hand "i think i made a mistake"
Story just sits. "Well, I want to know that" for the first time in this conversation, story talks.
"Oh, won't you kiss me on the mouth and love me like a sailor?" Cole's voice sounded like a plea. As if his soul was in deep need of Clémentine at that moment. "And when you get a taste, can you tell me what's my flavor?"
Clémentine was running. Talking with story gives them the strength to face their feelings. To face cole. The wind played with their nightgown, passing through her curls and entering her lungs abruptly.
Where's cole?
In the distance she heard the bells of yarrow. They stopped abruptly for a moment, trying to concentrate on the sound. It was low, persistent. Clémentine began to walk slowly until the sound flooded every one of his senses. There was Cole.
They hide behind a tree, trying to make sure Cole and Yarrow didn't notice his presence.

They didn't want to admit that they love clémentine.
Clémentine came out of his hiding place and sat silently next to Cole, who, with his eyes closed, did not notice the presence of the curly-haired boy.
Also appeared story. Sitting next to clémentine, they just listen to the little melody that Cole brings them. Like a private show.
