Chapter Text
If anyone knew Stanford pines, they would describe him as careful. That was until it arrived. She was a sheep, a sinner almost reeking of desperation, and her name is Rue. She had come knocking at his door claiming to be his daughter and he was the first to be skeptical, Stan on the other hand loved to point out her brown fur and blue eyes, her stocky build and face comparable to his teenage days. “And how can you explain away the twelve fingers that are just like yours?”
Ford was trying to get back to work in his lab but Stan decided otherwise. “Stanley there are hundreds of other people in this state alone that have the same condition, and it’s spontaneous too. The other features are just as much a coincidence.”
“Can you at least let her go through that weird shield you and dipper made?” That angered ford. Ever since he and Dipper had set up the bill proof shield, Rue hadn’t been able to cross through it making Stan only hound him more. “Stan, there is no way I’m gonna let that into my house.”
Stan could only sigh as he walked away, he stopped at the door frame and spoke loud enough for his twin to hear, “you haven’t even talked to her, can you at least give her that?” After a silent response, Stan finally left ford alone.
