Page 1.
28th September.
Hello, my name is Matt! (Matthew) I am 6 years old and my favorite thing in the whole world is space!
Miss Janice ask aks told us to write this journal and at the end of the year we will remember all the fun we had!
Mom made an apple pie it was very tasty!
Page 2.
1st October.
I live in a big Town Amity Park with 978.856 people. Dad showed me. I think it is big but mom said aunty lived in a bigger one!

5th October.
My town is very special because we have a hero! Just like in the cartoon. He help everyone and protect us against the bad gost! But not everyone like Him. It's sad because he is very funny and kind. Mom say he is very brave but Dad says that he is a Fool.

18th October.
Today dad swore in the car. It is always funny when he do because he try not to and he says a lot of weird words instead like carbonilic sodium Rosa Maria. Dad is so silly those word do not even exist.
He got really mad because the rood was block by the man in white explains mom. It is weird because
1. There was girls
2. They weren’t did not have all white clothes maybe some ties or shirt.
Mom says that before I was born their clothes was nearly all white. Not very smart. White always get dirty super easy

3rd November.
Today I made a new friend. I meet him in the park. No one else can see him. I think he may be a ghost and he also have purple hair. It is so pretty! I don't think Dad would be happy to know. Mom says he is a coward because of the man in white. I don't think they are all bad. The one near my school always give us candies!

14th November.
All of the leaves turned red now! We sent to the forest with all the friends and Carlo mom to get mushrooms. It was fun!
And Liam helps me with my homework he is so smart.

20th November.
Today I went with Liam in the Forest and we saw Pantom and Red Huntress fighting against a very ugly monster!
Panther saw Liam he looked very surprised. He said that we must be sharing a very special bond. Duh! Liam is my best friend!

16th December.
Today it snowed! We played all the afternoon in front of the school! Snow fight, snowman , everything!

24th December.
The city Christmas tree was so beautiful and tall!
We even met the box ghost. He offered me a pretty square box! And Liam showed me a cool spot.
Page 11.
5th January.
Our neihbor are leaving today. I am sad I liked playing with their dog Caïus. Mom was even more sad then me because she cried into grandma Lory arms. The men in white helped them move out. That is very nice because grandpa Paul has a bad back.

15th January.
Mom and Dad fight a lot. I think it is about me and Liam. A lady came home her name was Star! I asked her if she knew about the galaxy. She said no but she let me show her all my book! She is so pretty!

3rd February.
Dad is very angry because we have now a lockdown. (He is angry a lot now. It is scary.) No one can be out after 9 without a good reason. Mom want us to leave like the other but Dad said none ever heard of them. Maybe the phone not working well.
Today I saw the Doctors Fentons car! It was so cool. Ho! And they gave me and Liam bracelet they said it was our lucky charm.

13th February.
A lot of my friends got sick. They all had to go to a special hospital said Miss Janice. I think she is very sad because she cried when Maria asked when they were coming back. Liam taught me a new game! It was fun!
I won Jack marble ball. The one that look like space! But I couldn't draw it.
Page15.
6th March.
Things are getting weird. Dad didn't come home yet and Mom won't let me go to school. It’s no fun at least Liam is here!
Mom look very sad. She is always looking at the news and they show very scary pictures of fire and angry people screaming.

8th March.
Mom says we need to leave the house. I don't like it! Why everyone leaving? At school, in the neighborhood. Even dad went to work! I can't take all of my book but Liam can come. So it is not so bad. And I got to see Star again!

15th March.
Suzie is with me! She left to the hospital a while ago she must really needed it because she look worse than before. She has bandage and everything. There are a lot of people where we are but they all look so sad. So me and my other friends are going to make drawing and give them. It always made Dad happy. I miss him.
Where we sleep it's sometimes cold and I miss my room but it's like an adventure mom says.

We can't go outside! I want to play at the park. It's not fair! And I want to eat chocolate and see dad and why is Mom hurt? I want to go home!

7th April.
Suzie didn't wake up yesterday. Her mom made horrible noise. I don't understand. Suzie said she was tired. Her mom should let her sleep a little more.
Liam found chocolate! I’ll share it with Suzie when she wakes up. She slept for a few days now. She must be very tired.

12th April.
This morning we left the place. Mom woke me up looking very panicked. We went out for the first time since forever! But it was weird. Everything looked broken just like when Phantom fights sometimes. We had to be super discret. It felt like playing spies. It was fun! And the new place has a lot more kids.
So cool!

I waited for Mom all night but she didn't come. Where is Mom? My chest hurt. My belly hurt. I want my mommy.

28th April.
Mom is still not here. A lot of other adults left letting the bigger kids in charges. I don't like it because Lena keep ordering us around but Karl is funny. So it is OK.
Louis got sick. He is going to sleep with Suzie told me Liam. I want to sleep too.

2nd May.
I am scared. I want to go home. We could not eat lunch. Karl said we had to eat less from now. Says that to my tummy! Dummy.

11th May
I found crayon color! A blue, a red and a yellow. I use them later to make something when Mommy and Dady comes back. I am so happy! A flower or a picture of mom-
