Chapter Text
Edgar was a popular streamer on twitch. He often had his webcam on showing his room and face, or his reactions when playing games.
Fang couldn’t help be drawn in by his style and charm. While others online might make fun of him for being emo or edgy Fang found it quite cute, he really wanted to see a piece of it for himself.
Fang would appear in every stream always typing positive words in chat, even if he only had one hand available. Fang was well known as a clipper and even got noticed by Edgar himself sometimes.
Fang would often donate in chat aswell, sometimes up to the hundreds just to support his favorite creator and get his attention, which it always did.
Everytime Edgar ended his steam and left the viewers to slowly dissapate, Fang always still craved more. He needed more of him, even if he had to take some drastic measures.
Once at a fan meeting, Fang had met this girl named Colette who was also a fan of Edgar. She was just ad obsessed with him as Fang was, but was louder and never hid it. Fang knew that she would know everything about Edgar, probably all written in a scrapbook or something.
He opened up Colettes fan page on a side account, which was full of many celebrities and streamers but primarily Edgar, and dmed her.
‘Hey, can I ask you for a favor?’
Almost immediately he got a response back.
‘What?’
‘Do you know where Edgar lives?’
Colette was a little taken aback by the question, but quickly focused again on what he was saying.
‘I guess, but only for a certain price.’
It’s not like Fang was poor in any way, even after donating hundreds to Edgar. He eventually bargained with Colette on a price for where Edgar lived, and made a plan.
He really couldn’t hold himself back, he needed it immediately. He knew Edgar just finished streaming minutes ago, and mentioned how he was going shopping for the next baking stream right after so he wasn’t going to be home.
Fang was also conveniently watching in his car, which was only a few minutes from the address Colette gave him, he was prepared after all.
Fang parks at the tip of the street, and walks up the street to find the right number. He stops infront of a light gray house, with 2 floors, a balcony, and a fenced in backyard. He noticed how the lights were all off, and with no hesitation hopped over the fence. He landed in a familiar backyard, where Edgar and Draco did a collab once.
Atleast he now had no doubts this was his house. Fang checked each of the windows on the ground, but all of them were locked, which was expected. Fang was pretty strong and good with his feet so it was no trouble climbing up the porch to the balcony and testing the windows up there.
He put his hands on the window and pulled up, which opened the window wide open into a room. Fang climbed in and noticed how it was a bedroom. He had conveniently climbed right into Edgars bedroom.
Even though Fang had never been in his house before, he recognized the room and the computer setup where he streamed. Edgar never really turned his webcam to face his whole room, so the other half of the room where Edgars bed and wardrobe was completely new to Fang.
Fang walked over to Edgars closet and opened it up, seeing many black articles of clothing, accessories, and pants. At this point, Fang was just snooping around Edgars room, finding many things he considered “easter eggs” like the iconic black nail polish, his red jacket, and his eyeliner. Fang noticed something on his gaming chair, which was his scarf. He could’ve sworn Edgar would’ve brought that with him but he didn’t deny the opportunity to pick it up and sniff it.
He went into Edgars bathroom and noticed more makeup, makeup remover, skincare products, and a 3 in 1 shampoo, bodywash, and conditioner which was the only shower product Edgar had. Fang made sure to pop open the cap and give it a sniff just to know what Edgars hair might smell like.
Right as he out it back, he heard a car door shut from the driveway. Fang cursed a little inside as he didn’t even get to go downstairs and explore the kitchen or living room yet but more importantly he didn’t know if he should run away or hide.
Fang decided to try and leave to avoid getting caught but when he went up to the window he noticed Edgar looking up in confusion, before briefly locking eyes with Fang.
Luckily Fang was fast, and moved away quickly, but now he was sure Edgar had second thoughts about if someone was actually in his home. He couldn’t leave anymore, so he had no choice but to hide in the bathroom. He chose to close the door most of the way to try and slip out later.
Edgar stepped out of his car, bags in hand when he noticed how his bedroom window was left open. He thought he might’ve just accidentally left it, but then saw a brief shadow moving inside. He thought maybe a squirrel got in… or something…
