Chapter Text
You remembered the day you first met Feyd-Rauth, the memory crystal clear in your mind. Your father, Duke Leto, donned full dress uniform, the golden chains on his top glittering and chiming with each precise step he took. Your small, gloved hand pressed into his as you matched his pace, keeping your head held high. On top of your dark curls was a golden tiara, and you wore a gown made of dark green velvet. Your mother, Lady Jessica, trailed behind you both with a proud smile. You were not scared; even at the mere age of ten, you understood you were to wed the Harkonnen boy when the time came. Your path was pre-destined.
You found the Harkonnens, a strange people with eerie dark eyes and sickly pale skin, reminding you of a hairless rat, Duncan Idaho, once found in the castle's pits. The Baron was obscenely large, hardly able to move with the assistance of his servants. It was wrong and not something a well-taught young lady like yourself should do, but you wrinkled your nose in distaste. Duncan had told you the Baron was a cruel man and part of you pitied Feyd. Your eyes trailed over the entourage and landed on the boy about your age. This must be Feyd , you thought. His ink-blotched eyes bore into your own before twisting his mouth into a sinister smile, black goo oozing down his chin. You supposed it was in an attempt to make you scream or fuss, but instead, you simply giggled.
The noise drew your father’s attention, and he followed your gaze, sighing heavily as he closed his eyes. The Baron let out a boisterous laugh at his favored nephew’s antics.
“It is better she knows now,” he jested.
Bravely, you let go of your father’s hand to approach the boy, sinking into a deep curtsey.
“I eagerly await the day we will be wed,” you told him, your mother having long drilled those words into your memory since you could talk.
“You are lucky, boy, to have such a beautiful bride-to-be, most are not,” the Baron stated, nudging Feyd closer to you with the toe of his large, black boot.
Feyd eyed you uncertainly, his lips pursing into a thin line. “She is not so beautiful,” he scoffed.
“Forgive my nephew’s insolence, Duke Atriedies; he’ll pay for it later,” Vladimir gruffed, and it would be the only time you saw Feyd falter, his shoulders rounding like a scolded pet. Your heart went out to him, so you extended an olive branch, hoping to soothe the Baron’s anger with the boy.
“He does not hurt me,” you replied simply, shrugging your shoulders before returning to your father’s side. You were made of iron will, delicately crafted by your mother to be the perfect mate, but she made sure you were constructed of steel, not porcelain.

Ten years later, your wedding day arrived; the event would be hosted on Caladan before you departed for Giedi Prime with your new husband. Your wedding gown was made from teal silk, the same color as the mist that would cling to the air after a fresh rain on your home planet. The sleeves were sculpted from gauze, creating puffed decagons that billowed down your arms. Your hair was braided elegantly with freshwater pearls woven between the strands. The pearls fell across your face in a see-through veil, lace attached to a golden comb, dragging the ground behind you. You slipped your arm through your father’s, offering him a warm smile.
“I’m ready,” you assured him.
“You’ve grown into a fine young woman, but I admit I’m not ready to give you up quite yet,” he murmured.
“You’re not losing me,” you assured him.
“I would hope not; it would break my heart,” he smiled before brushing his lips over your forehead.
You didn’t wish to admit that you felt trepidation with each step, even though you had been well prepared throughout the years. You trained in the ways of the Bene Gesserit under your mother’s tutelage while Gurney assured you were proficient in combat. The rest of your time was spent learning the history of Giedi Prime and becoming well-versed in the ways of the Harkonnens. You entered this union with eyes wide open.
The ceremony seemed a blur as your palm was placed in Feyd’s after being sliced open, your blood intermingling with his. You noticed his blood appeared thicker and darker than yours, a few drops splattering on the hem of your gown. An amused smirk tugged at his lips for the entire duration. He wore all black, bald head shining in the delicate late afternoon sun. The union was sealed with a kiss, and you were surprised by how soft his lips felt. He was a fascinating man, one you were eager to discover. An attraction was pulling you toward him, almost as if a string was wrapped around your heart and attempting to tug you into his orbit.
Wine and food flowed as the union was celebrated. As Feyd was distracted by two of your loyal handmaidens, your mother took you aside. Jessica’s soft hands stroked your face.
“You have packed the box and the gom jabbar?” she whispered, and you nodded.
“They are packed with my clothing; no one should detect them,” you responded before grasping her hands in yours.
“If he is not worthy, we will know soon enough. Do not be scared, my daughter; you are prepared for this.” She pressed a warm kiss to your forehead.
“I’m not frightened, mother,” you assured her before returning to the celebrations.
The wedding night would be spent on Caladan with arrangements for you to depart to Giedi Prime with Feyd in the morning. Your father had arranged for a makeshift bridal shift in one of the larger rooms of the castle. Vladimir toasted you and Feyd before being carried away by his servants. You kept pace with Feyd as you were both escorted to the room. He sat down on the edge of the bed, fixing you with a smirk.
“What amuses you, my husband?” you inquired, removing your veil and face covering and setting them inside.
“I have no desire to bed you tonight; I have no interest in you.” You kept your expression blank as he clearly hoped to get a rise out of you.
“And what makes you think I have any interest in you? The brute of Giedi Prime,” you hummed in response, carefully plucking a pearl from your hair.
His nostrils flared. “We may share a bed tonight, but only for sleeping.”
“That is fine with me,” you murmured, moving behind the partition to change out of your gown into a satin black robe.
You moved under the sheets, feeling his dark eyes on you before he kicked off his boots and joined you. You slept peacefully that night, unbothered by the man beside you, as you ignored the tugging on your heart.
~~
The days on Giedi Prime were long, though you were thankful for the company of your handmaids who were allowed to join you and the pug, Hetras, your father had gifted you upon your departure. Small pieces of home that brought you comfort. The Baron assured you wanted for nothing, calling upon you to visit him every day and bestowing many gifts upon you. Feyd slept next to you every night but spent his days sparring and entertaining his harpies. This particular arraignment could only last for so long. You understood that your duty was to bring forth the Kwisatz Haderach , which would mean finally consummating your union with Feyd.
You witnessed his battles, peering from behind your opera glasses while seated next to the Baron in the box while Feyd slaughtered his opponents without mercy. You wondered if the cheering masses knew what a dirty cheat he was and how easy it was to slip undetectable poison onto blades to ensure his victory. Clearly, he reveled in the cheering and adoration of the undefeated champion. This could be your way in. One afternoon, you dressed in your sparring outfit and found your way to him.
“What are you doing here?” Feyd gruffed, eying you curiously as you entered the sparring chamber.
“Fighting holds your interest, so today you will spar with me,” you explained, stepping over to look at the weapons hanging from the wall before choosing a lance. You felt his eyes on you the entire time. You tested the weapon's weight in your hand, slowly spinning it around as you got a feel for it. It was similar to the ones you used with Gurney back home.
He chuckled. “I’m never one to turn down a challenge. We’ll see how you fare.” Feyd selected a sword, showing off his skills as he twirled and slashed the blade through the air.
You offered him an impressed smile, studying his movements and discovering how he favored his left leg when moving, shifting his weight in that direction. All you need is a simple weakness, and that’s where you strike , Gurney’s voice echoed in your head. You allowed him the first move, blocking him with your lance, but stumbled in your stance. You couldn’t appear too strong or skilled just yet, and you couldn’t deny his strength. He was not unskilled by any means. You needed him to get his guard down. The blade sliced through the sleeve of your white tunic, blood welling in the shallow cut. Your instincts kicked in, willing your mind to heal the wound.
“It seems I’m winning,” Feyd smirked.
“Mmm, and have you poisoned your blades like you do with your other opponents?” you implored, turning away from his next blow.
“How dare you…” His eyes flashed angrily, his voice hissing like a snake ready to strike.
“I can smell it as it seeps into their veins, and I can hear their agonizing screams as they writhe silently in pain,” you hissed, moving into his blind spot before dropping to your knees and swiping his right leg with your lance. He toppled to the floor, blade clattering beside him. You braced yourself for an explosion of anger, but none followed. Instead, his laughter rumbled through the room.
He used his hands to push himself up, his dark eyes sparkling. “I’m learning to enjoy you.”
You smiled. All you needed was a way in.
The breath was knocked out of you as Feyd pounced, pinning you beneath him and kissing you roughly, teeth drawing blood from your lower lip. A gasp fell from your bloody lips as your legs locked around his waist, using your skills and powerful thighs to flip him over. He grunted and sneered with surprise but seemed amused nonetheless. Sweat hung pungent in the air, and you could hear his heart beating faster as the tension poured thick through the humid room.
Feyd pulled you closer as his strong hands pushed under your shirt before dragging it over your head. He cupped your breasts, thumbs teasing your pebbled nipples. You moaned, rocking into his touch and feeling him grow hard beneath you, straining against his trousers. Your nails raked down his pale chest before pinching one of his nipples. He groaned, mouthing, twisting in a pleasurable fashion. You had an inkling he may enjoy the box when the time came.
“You should allow me to pierce them, na-Baron ,” you purred, lifting your hips so he could remove your trousers.
Something sparked in his eyes as his tongue darted out to wet his lips. “Maybe I will allow you to do so, my lady .”
Your hands fumbled with the soft fabric of his trousers before working him free and holding his throbbing cock in your hand, slowly stroking his rigid flesh.
“Is there a position you would prefer me in?” you asked, lowering your head to wrap your mouth around the tip of his leaking cock. You suckled him softly, gathering the salty beads with the tip of your tongue. A trick you had learned in one of your books. A satisfying feeling ran through you as Feyd shivered and arched under you.
“Ride me, you won the fight; now mount your prize,” he grinned, a playfulness that you had not yet seen flashed across his face.
Wetness pooled between your legs, but instead of mounting him, you guided his hand between your spread thighs. His fingers slipped between your wet folds, stroking you as you seeped onto his flesh. You sucked your bottom lip between your teeth, reveling at the feeling rolling through you, like hot sparks shooting through your belly. A growl snapped through him as he grabbed your hips, guiding you toward him. Your hands braced against his chest as you lowered on his cock; each delicious stretch sent more white-hot heat rolling through you.
You found your pace as you rode him, electricity crackling invisibly in the air as his hands explored your body. His hand moved up your belly, between your breasts, before wrapping around your neck. The squeeze elicited a whimper as you clenched around his cock. That imperceptible string tugged around your heart, pulling you closer and closer to him until you reached a delightful bliss, soaking his cock.
“Beautiful,” he murmured, tenderly cupping your cheek as he studied your face.
Your lashes fluttered as you peered down at him. Perhaps the beast wore a protective shell; perhaps there was more to this man than met the eye. Your fingers gently caressed his face, tracing over his lips. He drew them gently between his lips, teeth scraping over your skin as your heart thudded in your chest.
“I need a shower,” you whispered, your fingers falling from his mouth.
You were surprised when he gathered you into his arms, carrying you through the halls towards the chambers you shared with him. You tucked your head into the crook of his neck, painfully aware of how naked you were, while he seemed unbothered as he paraded around without a stitch of clothing. The hot spray was soothing against your skin as his hands manipulated your warmed flesh, lathering the soap and making you purr. You did the same to him, marveling at his well-sculpted body. A gladiator . Your gladiator.
After the cleansing shower, you curled in his strong arms, listening to the thrum of his heart. Hetras snoozed at the end of the bed, his paws twitching.
“He is an odd-looking creature,” Feyd snorted as he observed the sleeping puppy.
You lightly swatted his chest. “I suppose to you he would be; I would say you Harkonnens keep odd pets.”
“We have much to learn about each other,” Feyd hummed, his hand settling on the curve of your naked ass.
“ You have much to learn about me. I spent years studying the Harkonnens,” you teased.
A playful smirk tugged at his lips before his mouth claimed yours in a hungry, bruising kiss. One which left your lips engorged, the bite from earlier throbbed in the wake.
“Oh, I’m certain I’ll be able to surprise you yet,” he grinned.
Of that, you had no doubt . You were eager to unravel this man and discover parts of him he kept hidden away. The time would come when you would have to bear his child; however, he would have to pass the test first before you willingly opened your womb to him. In the meantime, you would bide your time.
