Work Text:
His breath hitched in surprise as he felt a gentle touch against his back.
"You're working too hard."
Sephiroth looked up, greeted with a wide, genuine smile of the SOLDIERs' resident puppy. "Someone has to. Goddess knows you're not going to get these reports done."
Zack's smile faded slightly as he pulled up a chair beside the elder, sitting backwards in it. "The reports can wait! Come do something fun. Who knows how long we're gonna be on our next mission." The younger leaned back, crossing over in front of Sephiroth to obstruct his view from the paperwork before him.
"You know if I don't get this done, Lazard is going to have both of our asses."
"So let him. It might be good for someone to pull that stick from his ass and shove something el--"
"Zack!"
The 2nd Class stood, laughing, twirling the chair away and drooping himself over Sephiroth's shoulders. "C'moooon."
"Zack, I can't. I'm sorry."
With Zack behind him, it meant he didn't have to look into those puppy brown eyes. Much easier to resist. "Pleaaase~" A breathy whisper to his ear caused him to falter. Not so easy to resist - especially knowing exactly what was on Zack's mind with a whimper like that. "I'll make it worth it~"
If you were church, I'd get on my knees
Confess my love, I'd know where to be
My sanctuary, you're holy to me
If you were church, I'd get on my knees
I'd get on my knees
I'd get on my knees
I'd get on my knees
They'd barely made it to the 1st Class's room, the door barely closing behind him before their lips smashed together. Zack had his hands on Sephiroth's bare chest, helping him to shrug off the heavy leather coat. As it gave a whump on the floor, the elder's hands were making short work of the buckles and belts of the younger's uniform.
In a matter of seconds, Sephiroth was pushing Zack back onto the bed, the last of their clothing just as tangled on the floor as the two of them were now. With one leg between Zack's, rubbed Zack's groin against his thigh, fevered kisses being placed down his neck and across his shoulders. It didn't take much to pull more sweet noises out of the puppy, and only a moment before he was begging and reaching for the night stand.
With one hand, Sephiroth grabbed Zack's wrists, pinning them in a firm but loose hold. "Allow me," a coy smirk crossed over his pink lips as he got into the top drawer, pulling from it a bottle of clear liquid. Just the sight made the brunet shutter in anticipation. Sephiroth released his partner's wrists, sitting back to the sound of the bottle popping open. Zack swallowed in the sight of his superior standing at attention, watching as lithe fingers worked the liquid over his length, getting it nice and ready for the next step. Just thinking about it made his whole body blush and his own member twitch.
"Seph -- Please~"
Goddess, those whimpers were so sweet. Sephiroth's hand moved between them, two of his slicked up fingers slipping with ease into his subordinate, enticing an immediate reaction. Zack's hips lifted with the gentle thrusts of the digits, relaxing under the touch as he was worked until he was ready. Sephiroth shifted the both of them, getting himself between Zack's legs, stroking himself as he gathered in the sight of the younger completely drunk on him and his power.
And drunk Zack was; letting out a low, deep moan as he was penetrated by the general. The hands still above his head grabbed at the elder's pillows and sheets, trying to find leverage to grind up more against Sephiroth, trying to get him deeper. Each thrust came calculated, methodical, pinpointing exactly the areas that would drive Zack crazy. Sephiroth held on to his hips, his lustful gaze soaking up the mewling mess under him. His movements quickened as he leaned forward.
Zack's hands went from grasping the sheets to wrapped around Sephiroth's neck, causing him to be pulled up and into the elder's lap. He held tight, his nails digging into the porcelain-like skin of Sephiroth's back, grinding down against him and letting his length feel the friction between their torsos. His breaths came out short, shaky, and ragged - hot against Sephiroth's shoulder as he buried his face in the nook of his neck.
"S-Seph, I ... " He could barely speak, knowing his climax was quickly coming.
"Not just yet, Puppy."
Zack was easy to please and often hit things hard and fast. Sephiroth, on the other hand, enjoyed lapping up every noise and image of his subordinate, taking his time to drag things out. After all, if he was going to get in trouble, it might as well take all night.
Typically it would be easy for him to fall asleep, wrapped around Zack - especially after a romp. But not this night. He sat up in the bed, the younger sleeping deep and soundly beside him, gently sun-kissed skin bathed in the soft moonlight. He brushed the hair out of Zack's face, giving a small smile before turning to look out the window. They were going to Nibelheim tomorrow and that caused Sephiroth's stomach to churn.
And take the pain
Make it billboard big then swallow it for me
Time-capsule for the future
Trust me, that's what I will be
Oh, the things that you do in the name of what you love
You will do but just enough
You were doomed but just enough
It was supposed to be a normal mission. Go to Mt. Nibel and investigate what's making the monsters go rampant.
Simple.
Easy.
When Sephiroth stepped foot in Nibelheim, he could already feel the unrest. The Planet quivering under his every step. He was home - or rather, the empty shell of it. Sure, this was where he was born and raised, but it held nothing significant for him. He didn't have family here. He didn't have friends here. Actually, the more he thought about it, he barely remembered much of Nibelheim from his younger years. At least, not until Wutai. Even then, he was only 16 when he became the hero of the Wutai War. What happened between all that time? He took a deep breath, shaking his head. They were here to investigate a routine outbreak, he told himself over and over, despite the knot in his stomach tightening.
Little did he know how right he was to want to run from whatever awaited him in the tiny villiage.
If you were church, whoo
I'd get on my knees, yeah
Confess my love, I'd know where to be
My sanctuary, you're holy to me
If you were church, yeah, I'd get on my knees
I'd get on my knees, whoo
I'd get on my knees
I'd get on my knees
The fire rose high - and quickly. What started as one house became two, became four, became all of Nibelheim. The flames flickered in his mako green eyes, pupils slit thin. His heart was racing. When was the last time it beat this fast? Yet his face was flat; emotionless. "I TRUSTED YOU!" echoed through his head while the screams that filled the village fell on deaf ears; their owners but blurs as they ran past him to escape. They wouldn't be able to run fast enough, however.
A shimmer of silver made sure of that.
I love the world but I just don't love the way it makes me feel
Got a few more fake friends
And it's getting hard to know what's real
And if death is the last appointment
Then we're all just sitting in the waiting room
I am just a human trying to avoid my certain doom
High above them, he looked down, a wild cackle rumbling from his throat. This was what he was born - No. What he was made for. This was his right. His hand stretched up to the sky, beckoning a great fire from beyond its light. He could feel the pressure of the meteor, its weight in his hand as though he was God holding it above the planet. "This world's lies will end here." A smile spread wide over his face, fangs showing as he shifted, giving Meteor direction. They would pay. They would all pay for taking everything from him.
If you were church, yeah
I'd get on my knees
Confess my love, I'd know where to be
My sanctuary, you're holy to me
If you were church, yeah, I'd get on my knees
Cloud sat up with a gasp, sweat pouring down his face. His chest heaved with each shaking breath, unnaturally bright blue eyes adjusting to the intruding moonlight in his otherwise dark room. It was just a dream. Just another dream. But Goddess, did it feel so real.
He tried to shake the images from his head, but he could see everything. Smell everything. Feel everything. A shiver ran down his back as he felt a pair of lips on the back of his neck. For the briefest of moments, he relaxed into it before spinning around to find nothing there. He had to get out of there. He threw on a pair of pants and a shirt, slipping on his boots as he left the room at the inn he was renting.
Before long, he found himself at the front doors of the church. The blond looked around, confused. Had he meant to come here? He pushed the doors open, stepping beyond them, a tug at his chest pulling him forward. The flowers were beautiful as ever growing as if unhindered by their current position under waist deep water that was still as clear as it was the day it rained and cleansed everyone. He kicked one boot off, then the other, stepping into the water. Without even realising, he'd also tossed his shirt aside before taking a deep breath, closing his eyes, and sinking into the shallow depths.
He'd never felt more free in that moment. And all but a moment is was.
Arms wrapped over his shoulders and he felt himself pressed against a firm and familiar chest.
I'd get on my knees, yeah, oh
I'd get on my knees, ah ah ah
I'd get on my knees, yeah
I'd get on my knees
Cloud gasped as he breached the surface once again, spinning around to come face to face with a piercing green-eyed gaze.
"You're supposed to be dead!"
His declaration was met with a laugh as Sephiroth moved through the water, gracefully, nary causing a ripple on the water's surface. Cloud stumbled backwards, trying to put more distance between the two of them, though it was fruitless as Sephiroth descended upon him, a cold hand wrapping around his wrist to keep him from running.
"I'm a part of you, Cloud."
Once again, Cloud was pulled forward, this time being led by his nightmare to the middle of the waters. "I missed you, Cloud." Sephiroth pulled him closer, placing a hand around the small of his back until their bare chests were pressed against each other. "Did you miss me?"
Cloud attempted to protest, but was quickly cut off by a forceful pair of lips against his.
In an instant, his head was swimming, buzzing of reminders of their times together. Of a time, even after Nibelheim, where they were very nearly lovers. The waters washed over them as Sephiroth pulled them down, a shared breath between them as they sank deeper and deeper into what seemed like an endless abyss. The protesting hands quickly turned into clenching fists, wrapped tightly up against Sephiroth's back and tangled within shimmering silver locks. He could feel himself becoming bare and exposed before the other, but he dared not break from their kiss of life.
Large hands made their way down Cloud's back, gripping his buttocks as Sephiroth pulled his hips forward, moving himself between Cloud's legs. He stared down the blond, feeling the tremors of fear and excitement move through the body pressed against him. He had total control. He let a hand slide between them, grasping himself to meet his tip with Cloud's entrance. With a surprising amount of control and gentleness, he pushed himself in, the action nearly causing Cloud to break their kiss. With his free hand, Sephiroth gripped the back of Cloud's head, balling his hair in his fist and forcing their kiss deeper.
Cloud felt numb and over stimulated at the same time, his chest aching as he felt he was drowning despite the back and forth between their lungs. While everything in him screamed at him to fight, he couldn't help but give himself into the ecstasy of a long near forgotten feeling. The waters around them warm as a summer's night; the moonlight pooling around them as Sephiroth thrust into him. His back arched as best it could, his body eager to match with the other's. He missed this. He missed ... Sephiroth. He felt instincts take over, his eyesight going dark, but he didn't care. He would allow himself to be swallowed by his idol. Even if it was just for this moment.
And all but a moment it was.
If you were church
I'd get on my knees
Confess my love, I'd know where to be
My sanctuary, you're, you're holy to me, you're holy to me
If you were church, yeah, I'd get on my knees, yeah
When he opened his eyes, he was back on the water's edge. His body felt light like it hadn't in a long while. As he moved to stand, he shivered, looking down and being met with his bare body. He blinked a bit, head turning to inspect the area around him. His clothing was dry, neatly folded but a few feet from him. He felt a wave of heat run through him, instantly being brought back into the memory of what happened in the water.
Was it real ... ?
He dressed himself quickly, heading back to his room at the inn, trying to push the thoughts out of his head without much success.
As he entered his room and sat himself back on his bed, he felt his chest ache and watched as a single tear stained the thigh of his pants.
