Kim hated the cold because it made his body freeze and slowed his reflexes. He also hated missions that sent him to the middle of nowhere. How the heck did Korn make enemies in freaking Tonsberg. It was great that he had completed the mission, but the unexpected guest on the way back was giving him one hell of a difficult time.
“Nobody said anything about a fucking blizzard…” His little cousin shouted into the falling snow. He looked behind him to check on Macau who had been complaining all the way, since he found him a few hours ago, lost on a snowy mountain, whose name Kim can't pronounce for the life of him, separated from his little group of friends. No doubt, any moment now Vegas would rally entire Bangkok to swarm Norway in search of his baby brother.
He could hardly see Macau or the path they were walking on, as hard white ice hit his skin and blurred his eyesight. It was so cold, if they didn’t find a place soon; he was going to freeze to death. And he knew that his little cousin had it even worse, completely caught unprepared for this kind of weather. What the heck were a bunch of high schoolers doing vacationing in Norway? And How the heck did he find Kim for that matter?
Macau had been shouting for the past ten minutes, but Kim couldn’t quite understand him with all the howling snow. He figured it was probably another complaint, and it would be less annoying to just pretend listening, rather than doing so at all. Finally, he understood his words loud and clear when his little cousin finally caught up to him.
“Kim! Hold my hand, dammit.” Macau growled. “If you keep leaving me behind, I’m going to fucking die here and haunt your stupid dreams! I don’t care if it’s troublesome for you, just don’t leave me behind.”
“Huh?” Kim blinked. That was a strange request, coming from his baby cousin. Before he could protest, Macau reached out and tightly grabbed his hand. His hand was so cold, colder than his, and he winced at the sudden change of temperature. He was correct- he didn’t have it any better, as he realized that his cousin's body temperature was quickly going down. They needed to find a place soon- fast.

“Kim, L-Look T-there!” Macau shouted, his face lightening up despite the blue color that was starting to envelope his usually golden skin.
“Finally.” Kim thought as he looked out to where his cousin was pointing. There was a small run down cabin that would most likely serve as their shelter for the night. Thank gods.
They used all their remaining strength to walk to the cabin, and Macau let go of his hand and ran inside as Kim picked the cabin's lock. “Ahhh!” he said, shivering badly as he put his arms around himself, trying to rub some warmth into them. Kim shut the door behind him. The cabin was warmer than outside, but the loud blizzard could still be heard as it pelted on the outside walls and the roof. It was still freezing, but fortunately, much lesser than outside.
~
The cabin was dark, and it had no electricity. The two of them could only make out their surroundings by silhouettes.
“There’s only o-o-one b-b-bed!” Macau hissed, his teeth clacking against each other. He was rubbing his arms in a futile effort to try to get back to normal body temperature. He gave Kim an icy glare. “Aren’t you cold at all?!”
“I am.” Kim replied. He was telling the truth, but Macau didn’t seem to want to believe him. The reason Macau was having it harder was because Kim was used to going on shitty missions like this all the time, after all.
Macau gave him one last glare and got on the bed and crawled under the blanket. “T-t-this bed is hard as h-hell.” he muttered.
Kim sighed. In spite of their condition, his cousin still had the gall to complain. The pampered brat.
“Macau, do you know about hypothermia?” Kim asked as he walked up to him, hands in his pockets. Macau peeked out at him from under the covers of ‘his’ bed.
“Of c-c-course I d-do. Do I look like an idiot t-t-to you?” He replied in the snarkiest way possible.
‘Oh, great. He’s in a mood. That would make it easier.’ Kim thought in his mind. He said to Macau in the calmest voice he could muster, “ You should get out of your soaking wet clothes, they will just make the cold worse. While I think of a way to get us warm, alright?”
He fiddled the inside of his pockets nervously as he said this, a tinge of red on his cheeks. No matter, what needed to be said was done.
“Kim, are you sick ? Why are you being nice to me all of a sudden. Stop it, its creepy. Are you blushing? What are you thinking, you perv?!” Macau replied, eyes wide. It was a wonder that he said the whole sentence without clacking teeth.
“O-of course not!” Kim retorted. “But if you’re dead by the time we get back home, imagine what Vegas would do to me!” Was that a good enough reason? He couldn’t think of anything else. Vegas was a downright scary when anything concerned his baby brother, so maybe it would work.
“F-fine.” Macau said as he sat up straight. “Come h-h-here.”
Kim blinked and approached Macau, who pulled him down by the sleeve. He was surprised when he suddenly unzipped his puffer jacket.
“What the—Macau?!” Kim growled as he pulled at the slightly wet shirt under his jacket and rubbed a freezing hand on his waist.
“Ha! I k-knew it!” Macau retorted. “You’re the o-only idiot who a-a-actually wore a single layer under his jacket, but I’m p-pretty smart enough to wear three layers with a waterproof second layer.”
Kim was starting to get annoyed by the way Macau called him an idiot, and with a sigh, he moved away.
“Now turn around.” the brat ordered with a huff.
“Never knew you were so modest.” He muttered as he turned around. Luckily, Macau didn’t quite catch what he said and just ignored it. After a while, Kim heard the sound of wet cloth hitting wood, and he looked down to his side to see the drenched clothes in a heap.
“Goodnight, Kimmy.” Macau said as he covered himself with the blanket.
“W-wait. Let m…” Kim flustered again as he turned around to face his little cousin. Macau pulled down the cover and peered at him curiously. He was still blue and freezing, he would probably pass out in awhile if they didn’t do the last thing that was taught in survival training about hypothermia.
He stared at Macau for a while. Kim knew he was no idiot, and he know that he knew what had to be done next.
“Fine.” Macau mumbled as he rolled to the other side of the bed. Kim nervously got under the blanket. He didn’t know why he was so nervous-they’ve both been this close before. Kim denied the fact that being half-naked on a bed probably implied something else.
With a sigh, Kim turned on his side and pulled Macau close, wrapping one hand around his waist. He felt Macau’s breath on his neck and shivered.
The two of them stayed quiet for a while, and Macau buried his face on the slant of his neck, taking advantage of his warmth. He smelled of citrus fruit, just like the orange shirt he was currently wearing. Macau did always smell nice, he was just too stupid to admit that he even noticed.
He started rubbing arms with the palm of his hand to warm them, and though he wasn’t shivering of the cold, Kim realized he was nervous and shaking anyway.
“How troublesome…” He muttered.
“What did you say.” Macau growled, but it had little effect as his eyes slowly started to close, and it made Kim panic.
“W-wait, no.” He said, shaking his shoulders. “Don’t fall asleep, it's dangerous.”
It was no use.
“Shit…” Kim groaned to himself. He stared at his face- so serene- and so blue. Furiously, reached over and slapped his round cheeks gently. No response, he repeated a three more times. Still nothing, his panic morphed into horror. No...no... He kissed him. He swiped his tongue over the soft lips and slipped inside the velvety heat. He breathed a sigh of relief as Macau responded to the kiss. It took Macau a couple of moments to stir and to realize what was going on, and when he finally came to, his eyes widened.
Macau first instinct was to punch Kim, but then he realized- it felt good. Wait, no, this was wrong! No, not wrong…just, surprising; but good surprising.
“Kim!” he hissed as he pulled away. “What are you doing?!”
Kim blinked. What was he thinking? He felt his brain going to panic mode and shutting itself down.
“I… I-I was…” His face was red. Macau glared at him, and thankfully, his face was going back to normal color now. “I wanted to bring the color back in your face.”
Macau blinked.
He stared at him nervously.
“Well, that’s original.” he replied as he wrapped his arms around his neck and pulled him close again.
