Dear Reader(s),
This is my imaginings of what Odysseus’s homecoming would be. I was inspired greatly by the author alegitsnack123, whose fic "it would be a hundred times easier (if we were young again)" is one of my favorite fanfictions of all time. Any similarities between my work and theirs is not intentional. I have edited this many times to try and make sure that the work is entirely my own, but if I missed something please let me know. I also highly encourage everyone to read "it would be a hundred times easier (if we were young again)" as it is extremely well done.
I know I gave a warning in the tags, but for those whose curiosity got the better of them, there is mention of a rape in this, and some depiction on how it harmed the person afterwards. Specifically, Penelope recounts how she was assaulted while Odysseus and Telemachus was away. It is not super graphic, and the actual description of the rape is only a paragraph long. But I felt a more specific content warning would make it easier for those who want to see the lovey-dovey couple-y stuff but might have sensitivities around that subject.
I will probably be extending this fic into multiple chapters as I have lots of ideas of where I want to bring the story. But for now, enjoy the smut of two people whose love was strong enough to survive two decades apart.
This is the first fanfiction I have ever published, and it is the first smut I have every considered sharing. I hope you enjoy it, but also please be kind.

Hello Readers,
As you can see, the "multiple chapters" have turned into over 100 at this point, and I am not even done. I have no idea why my brain is so obsessed with this fic, but here we are. Because this fic has expanded from its original goal (Smutty scenes of Odysseus' happy ending) to a more involved story, I thought an update might be helpful.
For those who just want smut: Chapter 1-5, 9, 12,14,15-17, 19, 22. Chapter 1-5 and 17 can be read relatively independent of the rest of the story. The others do involve some plot points, but I don't think its too distracting. The ending will have a lot of smut too, I promise :). But if you're up to a bit more of a complex story, I hope you continue to read on.
