Chapter Text

“Are we sure about this? This could be nothing but a colossal waste of time.”
“Unless you have any better ideas, I don't see a reason not to indulge this. We’re running out of options, and people are getting restless.”
“Our track record with billionaires isn’t exactly a good one. The last thing we need is a repeat of Luthor…”
“This man has the cleanest record I’ve ever seen. He’s certainly an eccentric one, but we scrubbed the records back and forth for any sketchy signs. He doesn’t have so much as an unpaid parking ticket.”
The men sat around the table as they waited for their guests to arrive. This meeting had been a rather impromptu one, but given what they were being offered they’d cleared their schedules to take it. They had a crisis on their hands after all. One that had been bubbling up for some time now, and had finally reached a head a few months back.
Everyone had considered places like Arkham Asylum and Belle Reve prison little more than revolving doors for supervillains. For all of the effort they put into their security, they rarely even managed to keep some of the more notorious criminals contained for more than a few months. Whether it was because of accomplices breaking them out, or them finding gaps in the security, they always seemed to slip out one way or another.
The last incident however wasn’t just a single or even handful of super villains escaping. This one had been on a scale the likes of which they’d never seen. It had been a mass breakout of multiple prisons, at the exact same time. Stryker’s, Blackgate, Iron Heights, Stonegate, Gotham State. Such a breakout at any one of these singular prisons was disastrous on its own.
But simultaneously?!
It had taken a combined effort of the Justice League and Military to put a stop to all of the chaos. And even then more than a few big names were still unaccounted for. Thankfully there hasn’t been any serious injury or fatalities. The goal for most of these criminals had clearly been escape, not conflict. But even so, the damage to the city had been immense, and the people were rightfully outraged.
For years many had been calling into account the incapability of the government to keep super powered villains contained. But as of late the courage was greater than ever. It didn’t look like it was going to die down anytime soon either. What was worse, is that they could say little to actually quell their worries. They still had no clue as to how they had pulled such a coordinated escape attempt off. Everyone they questioned was either unwilling to talk, or unaware of the scheme entirely. For all they knew they could be plotting another attempt at this very moment, and they had no idea how to stop them.
They needed to do something.
Something that would settle this problem once and for all and calm the public.
That was when they’d gotten contacted by Cardin Black.
Young, handsome, and born into billions, Cardin was somehow one of the lesser talked about financial jaguarnaughts. Likely because, as mentioned earlier, he had a clean record. One never heard of him making a scene at parties or being involved in shady business. No scandalous pictures on the internet, or paid off accusations. He was very much on the up and up as far as everyone knew.
Which made him a rather boring figure to follow for most.
Every now and then you could see an article about him giving financial advice. Despite him being a billionaire baby, he was far from spoiled or stupid. He clearly had a knack for finances, and even after his parents passing as a child he’d managed to both maintain and even increase the vast wealth they’d left in his name.
But even knowing that, some of the men had their doubts about inviting him here. The guy was smart. Smart enough to keep his nose clean and his bank accounts fat. But what could he really have to offer on this sort of problem?
“I still don’t know about this…”
“Honestly, stop your whining. At worst he pitches some foolish idea that we shoot down and we waste twenty minutes.”
Before any of the others could either dispute or agree, there was a knock on the door. They all turned towards it. “Come in,” one of them said, pressing the button at his desk to unlock the door. They heard a beep signifying the guard out front sliding his key card, and the door slid open.
Two figures made their way inside.
One was a young man, clearly in his mid twenties. He could easily be described as handsome, with his green eyes, his strawberry blonde hair cut into a neat but stylish pompadour, and his cleanly shaven face. He was slim, but had a well maintained figure that signified a routine of exercise and proper diet. He was dressed rather casually, choosing to dawn a black shirt, brown leather jacket, blue jeans, and boots.
While they easily recognized him as Cardin, the second figure they didn’t know.
She was a rather beautiful woman with short blonde hair, green eyes, and a figure that drew every eye in the room. She wore a white dress that showed off her curves in all the right places, a modest but still eye catching amount of cleavage, and a skirt that showed off her long lovely legs. She was carrying a folder in her hands.
“Mr. Black, we appreciate you being here on time. We’re eager to discuss what you were offering during your initial contact,” one of the men said before glancing over at the blonde. “May we ask who this lovely young woman is? We weren’t informed of you bringing anyone else to this meeting.”
Cardin smiled and reached up, cupping the woman’s chin. “Certainly. This is my girlfriend and secretary, Tea. I’m sorry about not informing you of her presence, but I rarely ever go anywhere without her. She’s my most trusted companion. She’s already well informed about what we’re going to discuss, and she won’t be a bother,” he said.
The men shared a glance with one another. He’d shown up underdressed, and with an unannounced tagalong. Either he was insanely confident in whatever he was going to pitch to them, or he was far too arrogant for his own good. Either way, it wasn’t worth getting into an argument about one pair of ears in the room.
“Very well. Please have a seat.”
“Thank you.” Cardin took his jacket off, then handed it to Tea, who folded it in her arms and then stood next to him as he sat. one of the men gestured to an extra share, but she held a hand up and shook her head, choosing to simply stand next to Cardin. “Gentleman, I’m not going to waste you time. You know better than I just how upset the public are about the recent prison breaks. And understandably so.”
“Their safety, their very lives, are on the line. It’s not unreasonable for them to want assurances that they’ll be protected from future events like this. But it’s also not unreasonable to see your dilemma. You’re working with incredibly dangerous and resourceful individuals. Keeping them contained is far more difficult of a challenge than the common person could ever imagine.”
One of the men grunted. “We appreciate your understanding on this matter. It’s clear you understand that there is not an easy solution to this problem. That being said, you can understand why we’re skeptical about whatever plan you have to present to us today. You don’t exactly have experience in law enforcement or the like,” he said.
“No, I do not,” Cardin said, shaking his head. “Which is why I thought this plan through thoroughly. I’d never want to insult you by presenting something that was half baked and ill prepared.” He gestured towards Tea, who stepped forward with the folder and then began handing out packets to each of the five men. “Gentleman, what I’m pitching you today is a privately owned prison of my own design. One that will ensure that no incident like this ever happens again.”
The men picked up the packets, four of them immediately looking through them, while the fifth raised an eyebrow. “A privately owned prison? Really? With all due respect, the prisons we kept such individuals in are maximum security. There is no expense spared for trying to keep them contained. Why should we trust that your prison will fare any better than the ones that were just recently broken out of?” he asked.
“With equally due respect sir, the expenses you can afford to spare and the expenses I can afford to spare are vastly different. If you’d just take a look through what I’ve presented you, you’d see that there are much more precautions set in place to prevent escape than any prison you’ve constructed as of yet.”
The man still looked skeptical, but began looking through the packet. His cohorts had already had a head start, and were seemingly impressed with what they were seeing.
“So… these prisons would be located in the ocean?” one asked.
“One is located on an island, the other is an undersea facility. Far away from any populated areas. So even in the impossible event of a breakout, there’s no risk to any civilians. The locations are also located far away from one another, and there’s no communication in or out. Coordination between them would be impossible.”
Another man hummed. “Clever… but what about any outside forces…?”
“The locations are top secret, only knowledge to a select few who’ve been paid very handsomely to keep their mouths shut. They don’t have any incentive to reveal such information. I also have plans to cloak the locations through both technical, and mystical means. The workforce behind the construction of the prisons will be almost entirely mechanical, and the running of it completely. So there’s no need to worry about bribery or hostage situations.”
Another rubbed his chin. “What if someone were to hack into or shut down the system or security?” he asked.
“As I said, no expense has been spared. At even the slightest hint of tampering the system will enter a reboot. It takes mere milliseconds to do so, and it’s programmed to be able to identify, isolate, and develop countermeasures against similar attempts within that time. But I think you’ll find that, at least within the prison, such attempts will never get the chance to be made.”
They continued to skim through the packets, and whatever objections they may have had were quickly answered as they got deeper and deeper into the specifications of what was inside.
“These… these are certainly immaculate precautions. I can certainly see why you were so confident in your pitch. But the amount of money we would have to spend on this would be… absurd. On top of what we’re spending to clean up and rebuild the mess made from this previous incident, we wouldn’t be able to-”
“I’d pay for it all,” Cardin said, cutting him off. They all looked at him stunned.
“W-what?!”
“All of it would be paid for through my money, and mine alone. The construction, the security, the maintenance. All of it. I’ll be sure to take care of it all. There would be no financial loss or risk to you whatsoever.”
The men all exchanged looks once more, clearly shocked by the statement. “How very… generous of you. But I can’t imagine that such an offer would be brought forth without something for you to gain in return. If we may be blunt, what is it that you seek out of this endeavor?” one asked.
Cardin leaned on the palm of his hand. “Aside from giving the public a sense of safety, money and entertainment. I have two stipulations I’d like you to agree to before we confirm this arrangement.”
“Which are…?”
“The first is permission for the male prison to double as a factory. I want to contract out work so I can make a profit. Putting the inmates time to more productive use by putting together small household items. Hangers, pots, cabinets, uniforms, license plates. Items that can’t be tampered with in any dangerous way.”
The men glanced at one another. None of them seemed to have any qualms with that. It was a usual practice even in normal prisons. “We can easily accommodate that. What about the second request?” he asked.
“Direct oversight over the female prison,” he said. “I want to personally run it. Decide the daily schedule, punishments, service, and everything else.”
The men blinked in confusion, and one of them raised an eyebrow. “Only the female prison? Is there any particular reason for that?” he asked.
“I’m fairly sure you have a few ideas…” They could hardly believe it. It wasn’t hard to imagine exactly why a single man would want control of a prison full of females, but he wasn’t even really trying to hide or disguise his intentions. “So how about it gentleman? A permanent solution to your problems, in exchange for allowing me to have a few new toys to play with?”
They were again surprised by how blatant he was being, but remained silent. He had nefarious intent, that much was for sure. Referring to his potential prisoners as toys, in front of his supposed girlfriend no less, threw them for a loop. But the fact remained that what this man was presenting them… seemed like a viable option. Even with his less than chivalrous intentions they had to consider this.
“I’m inclined to give this a chance…”
One of the men turned towards his cohort. “Really?”
“Really. Obviously we’ll have to sort out more of the details and arrange things, but this tactic seems effective. And as for his request about the female prison… who really cares? These are criminals. Murderers, thieves, banes of society. If he can keep them in check, what should we care about the means he uses?”
“What if someone finds out? The PR would be a complete nightmare.” Criminals or not, if it came out that he was messing around with female prisoners, treating them like toys to be played with, it would cripple public relations.
“The PR is already a mess,” another countered. “Right now we need to do something to appease their need for safety. We can worry about the consequences of a potential scandal. That aside, we have nothing to lose and everything to gain.” No financial loss, and if things went south at the prison then at least the villains would be trapped under the ocean or on some deserted island.
Cardin sat back and watched as the men deliberated amongst themselves. He could have interjected and tried to further sway him to his side, but these men weren’t stupid. Not as smart or resourceful as himself obviously, but not stupid. They would come to a favorable answer, whether today, tomorrow, or next week.
After a few minutes of them going back and forth with one another, they turned back towards him. “Mr. Black, I think we need some more time to further discuss the pros and cons of this arrangement. But as of now… the prospects look very favorable. We apologize for not coming to a quick decision, but…”
“No, no, I understand,” Cardin said, holding his hand up. “Please, take all of the time you need. I’ll be eagerly waiting and keeping an ear out for your response. And if there was any other questions I somehow didn’t cover in those documents, feel free to contact me. Good day gentleman.”
He took up and nodded towards them all, a gesture they returned, then turned and made his way to the door while signaling for Tea to follow him. She thanked the men before quickly walking after him.
“Ugh…! Ugh…! UGH!!!”
Tea arched her back, crying out as Cardin continued to thrust into her. After leaving the meeting, they’d returned home and decided to have an ‘early celebration’ in the way they usually did. But going at it like rabbits. She wrapped her arms around his neck, hugging him tightly as he slid in and out of her.
Her strength was weakened to an extent, thanks to the quick red sun tan she’d taken beforehand. It was a precaution she’d always taken after she’d gotten too excited once and nearly injured him. He told her it was an unnecessary one, but she refused to risk hurting him, no matter what he’d said.
Besides, even if he didn’t say it, she knew that he liked dominating her. Having the usually immensely powerful woman weakened, at his mercy, submitting to him, aroused him. It turned her on all well, and made the sex so much better.
With a few more thrusts, Cardin came into her. Feeling that he had finished, she allowed herself to cum as well. The two embraced one another, their bodies tensing up into one another’s as they climaxed. After finishing, Galatea leaned back onto the bed and began trying to catch her breath, while Cardin leaned over her and did the same.
He smiled down at her as he watched her sweaty, naked body. Her very generous bust heaved up and down, and he couldn’t help but reach up and cup one of them. He took a moment to grope it, but then moved his hand up to her face, cupping and stroking it gently.
“You need a break?” he asked.
Galatea moaned, nuzzling his hand. “Not unless you do…”
He chuckled. Between the red sun bath and them having gone at it a few times already, she was probably tired. But she would never deny him access to her. She’d allow herself to be used as much or for however long he wanted. But while he felt as if he had one or two more in him, he felt she had earned a break.
“Let’s take a breather,” he said, giving her a kiss and then laying down next to her. She smiled weakly, and then turned to face him, reaching up and placing a hand on his chest. “I’m going to screw you sideways…”
“Promise?” she asked. The two laid there for a moment, but then Galatea broke the silence again. “So, how long do you think it’ll take them to agree to your terms?”
“I give it the end of the week at most. The end of the day at best…” he said, reaching up and placing a hand on one of her breasts. He could already feeling himself getting stiff again. “Not that you seem very happy about that. Something on your mind.”
“What…? No…”
He smirked at her. “Galatea, you know better than to lie to me. I know that you’re feeling a little iffy about this entire idea, but this’ll be good. For the both of us,” he said.
Galatea hummed and looked down. She always tried to never fuss or argue with whatever course Cardin decided to take. She had promised to follow and back him, no matter what the circumstances. After all, she owed him that much. He had saved her life, and spent no small amount of money doing so.
After her clash with the Justice League left her comatose, she’s been abandoned but just about everyone. Dr. Emile, the man she considered a father, had gone on about his way. She had no idea where he was now, nor did she care at this point. Cadmus had at least had the decency to keep her on life support, but that was more about preserving a potential weapon than preserving her life.
It wasn’t until Cardin had learned about her from a close colleague who he’d hired for an entirely different project. One who had been let go from Cadmus after the fallout, but had loosely known about her. Cardin dug more into her existence, and when he finally tracked her down, he poured money into having her actually healed rather than just maintained.
When she first woke up, she was confused. Then after having everything explained, she was angry. So angry she had nearly killed him in a fit of rage. When she asked him what he expected of her, he claimed nothing. He was mildly interested in her, but was far from foolish enough to think he could somehow tame or control a kryptonian.
Especially when she had him dead to rights.
At the time she didn’t know if he was just lying to save his skin, or trying to appeal and sway her in some way. She didn’t stick around to figure out either. She left, after he provided her with a set of clothes of course. But it had barely been a week before she realized that she didn’t really have anywhere else to go.
She refused to go back to Emile after he abandoned her. She would have been crazy to go back to Cadmus. She didn’t trust Waller in the slightest, and for all she knew she would have been planning to be rid of her. With the news that the League was no longer seen as a threat, she might have been considered an unnecessary asset.
Eventually she went back to Cardin, who opened his home and resources to her. He gave her a place to sleep, free food, and clothing. Anything she asked for, he tended to. At first she just wandered about his place, not sure what to do with herself. But as she slowly began to open back up again… she found herself enjoying her time with him.
He seemed to genuinely want to help her find purpose again, but he was blunt with her. Honest about his ambitions and intentions. Told her that her abilities would obviously be valued and make them easier to achieve, but also that it would have to be of her own choice. She hadn’t given him an answer immediately, but after a while she’d come to a decision.
To dedicate the second chance of life he’d given her to him.
She would follow and support him. Be loyal to him. She made sure that whatever he wanted would be gained. That being said, she wasn’t thrilled about this whole thing.
“I don’t want to share you…” she muttered.
Cardin chuckled, pulling her closer to him. “So you’re jealous. That’s so cute,” he said, giving her a peck on the cheek. She blushed slightly, and he gave her another. This woman could bench press a building, and yet would blush like a schoolgirl if he so much as flirted with her. “Do you think you’ll start falling out of favor with me?”
Galatea blushed deeper, looking away with a pout. “It’s one thing when you have your little flings. I can handle that. But now you’re going to have a whole harem, and I don’t want to just be another- Mmf!” She was cut off when he pressed his lips against hers.
Cardin wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her deeper into the kiss. She closed her eyes and learned it. His other hand moved up and cupped the side of her face, and he broke the kiss, but kept their faces close. “You said you’d be loyal to me Galatea. I’m going to be loyal to you,” he said.
He leaned his forehead against hers, the gesture bringing a smile to her face. “I may have a couple of other playthings, but that’s all they’ll be. Play things. I have one woman, Galatea, and it’s you. When I said this will be good for both of us, I meant it. An entire island of servants, just for us. We’ll be able to do whatever we want with them. It’ll be like having our own little kingdom,” he said.
Galatea giggled. “King Cardin and Queen Galatea… I like the sound of that.”
“Well, it’ll really be warden and vice-warden, but it’ll still have a nice ring to it,” he said, kissing her forehead.
Galatea giggled once more, and then wrapped her arms around him, kissing his cheek before nestling her head in his shoulder. “I’m sorry for questioning you…” she said.
“It’s okay,” Cardin said. “Frankly you’re more tolerant than I’m giving you credit for. I don’t think I could bear seeing you with another man, so I understand the jealousy.” As powerful as she was she could fuck him and anyone else she wanted, with or without his consent. And yet she stayed loyal to him, and him alone. Even tolerated his flings with other women.
He lucked out gaining her as an alley and partner. She truly was the definition of loyal, and he would reward it by keeping her at his side as he carried out his plans.
“I still should have known better… should I be punished?”
He looked at her amused. She wasn’t asking in a kinky way. She would genuinely submit herself to punishment if he told her to. Or even offer herself up for it like she was now. He believed she had a complex of some sort. She was desperate to serve, and terrified to disappoint. Traits that would be easy to take advantage of with the wrong person.
He was not the wrong person however…
“Later,” he said. Punishment would legitimately make her feel better, but right now he wanted to spoil her. “Right now I have a promise to make good on, because you my dear are more certainly not sideways, much less fucked so…”
He sat up, grabbing her legs and lifting it over his shoulder as he lined himself up with her, and Galatea smiled and then let out a gasp as he thrust forward.
Tonight he would conquer his queen, by next week he’d conquer a harem.
