Moonlight Mania

Summary:

SG1 arrive at a planet that worships their moon; a moon that changes colours on the last few days of each month. What will happen when a purple moonlight washes over the land, drowning all lies and forcing out all truths?

Work Text:

The flames in front of you danced and licked the air, dusty smoke curling high into the crevices of the large round hut you sat in as the native tribe swayed and chanted around the fire. The hut itself was tall and fat, the twigs of local trees being intricately woven amongst each other to form a sturdy frame. Large logs had been placed in a jagged circle, and the leather flaps at the entrance fell heavy against the opening, sealing the smoke and warmth inside.

SG1 had been on the planet for only a day, the people of a nearby village welcoming them with intrigue and open hospitality. With no sign of hostile premises or hidden secrets, it was deemed a simple recon mission, with diplomatic relations remaining the priority of the mission.

In that light, SG1 had found it very difficult to depart for bed; a night of festivities sucking them into the heart of these people. You’d learned that the villagers worshipped the moon, and that this particular festivity was a monthly occurrence, the lunar cycles of their currently lilac moon similarly matching that of Earths.

Sam had instantly taken to mapping the route of their moon, its size almost twice as large as yours in comparison, which was especially noticeable as its purple light shimmered across the land, tinging everything in a pastel hue.

The fire continued to roar in the centre of the hut. You thought you could see smoke of different colours wafting upwards, but the space was getting hotter, and you weren’t certain if you were of complete sound mind in that moment.

You’d shrugged your jacket off hours ago, your khaki BDU trousers remaining as your black top felt tight around your neck.

Jack had taken a liking to the particular tea they’d been offering, his sweet tooth satisfied as he started on his fifth for the evening. The dregs of your second swirled in your own cup, and you nodded politely as the chiefs daughter poured out a third for you.

‘It’s something isn’t it?’ Sam sighed, dropping down in the seat next to you. You looked at her to notice her rosy cheeks, and you couldn’t decipher if it was from the heat of the fire, or the fact you’d noticed her speaking to Jack minutes ago.

‘The tea, or the party?’ You asked.

‘Their moon,’ she breathed, taking a greedy sip of her own tea before she started to excitedly explain their findings. ‘I mean, it follows the exact same lunar pattern as our moon, if not for it being slightly longer by a few hours, but its trajectory…’ she turned to you in awe, ‘it comes within a few hundred kilometres of their ozone and doesn’t disintegrate-‘

Daniel sat on the other side of the fire, a young woman entertaining his theories on their language, her large doe like eyes following his expressions in adoration. His hands caught her attention, and as he was drawing something in the sand at their feet, you caught how her eyes stayed glued to his fingers as they bent before her.

‘-instead,’ Sam continued, ‘it refracts their electromagnetic spectrum, making their moon cast out these colours-‘

The woman giggled, Daniel straightening at the sound as his lips parted with a grin. He was always so oblivious to his natural charm with ladies, it was no wonder he always found himself surrounded by a pretty little thing on each planet.

‘-and so for the last few nights of their month, the moon shines in these different colours-‘

The woman had shuffled closer now, and if Daniel was feeling uncomfortable, he didn’t show it. Her hand was resting gently on his arm, his tanned skin practically rippling under her soft touch as he engaged her in further conversation, her eyes lighting up with every look he gave her.

‘-I mean it’s incredible really. And apparently each night the colours mean a different thing, although we must be near the end if its currently purple.’

You tore your gaze from Daniel, casting it to the other side of the hut where you met Jack’s. His eyebrows wiggled in a fashion that said he caught you staring, a sheepish tight lipped smile all you could muster in the moment. It was as his eyes darted for but a second to your left that your own eyebrows danced back at him, a smirk forming from how his face reddened at the sight of Sam in one of her moments.

‘Lena was telling me about the special powers of each colour, right? Like orange, which is usually on the first night, is apparently a time for energy,’ she took another sip of her tea, suddenly remembering to breath. ‘So the men always try to go on this hunt, because apparently the orange of the moon gives them this strength, and energy to find the largest beast-‘

Daniel now laughed across the way, his humourous bark stealing your attention as you watched how the young woman next to him filled with pride, as if causing him to make that wondrous sound was such a gift.

‘-on the second night, the moon shines in this green colour which is supposed to bring about healing. So the village healers use the moonlight to boost their herbs by leaving them outside to soak in the moons rays-‘

She wasn’t wrong, the poor girl now surrendering herself to a lifetime of struggle, trying to find a sound that would match the sweetness, his mirth, his joy. The bubbles in your stomach twirled at his expression, before swiftly popping as if remembering that he wasn’t laughing because of you. He’d been sat across the fire the entire night, placidly allowing the fawning girl to settle closer and closer...

‘-apparently there’s a healing circle sometimes too. Come the third night, and they have a blue moon which prompts inner peace. The calm of the moonlight helps them, and by all accounts they’re not wrong. Did you know that the moon-‘

The sound of herbs being sprinkled on the flames sizzled out Sam's voice, your eyes drawn to the swirling, burning mesh of sparks and fiery tongues that raged in the centre. Specks of vibrant yellow and aqua green flitted in the air.

‘-anyway. Then, on the final night, the land is washed in purple and allegedly drowns out all lies. I mean, these people honour a moon that forces out your truths-‘

The smoke thickened, as if an invisible fog now saturated the room, clogging your brain with wants and desires. Your throat scratched dryly as you tried to inhale, desperately aware of how quickly your mind was scrambling.

‘-and there’s not a single Goa’uld presence here at all-‘

The heat was deafening, inside of the hut and inside of you, your lungs aflame from how the fire now distorted the inside of the tent in waves. You took a sip of your tea, hoping to quench the growing desert in your chest but to no avail.

‘-just imagine if our moon had this kind of effect on people back on earth,’ Sam continued, oblivious to the wide eyed look that now donned your fearful face. ‘I mean, I know some people believe in astrology, but this moon, their moon, I think there’s actual science behind it-‘

You’d gulped down the rest of your tea, ignoring how it singed your insides when your eyes finally lifted back above the fire, only to catch Daniels naked body now writhing above the impassioned girl below him on the floor by the fire. Her lustful cries echoed in the space, her legs clutching around his waist as he thrusted into her before stilling, both of them shaking in the throes of excitement, their bodies mingling together as they came hard. Her hair weaved into the soft sand below her, her head lolling to the side before you recognised her face… your face. Your naked body remained beneath Daniel as he passionately leant down, capturing your lips in a heated kiss before his hips started to snap again.

‘- I have this theory that their ozone must be thinner than ours, and that their moon must be made of something specific.’ You whipped your head to Sam, staring harshly at her as she shuffled in her seat from your sharp gesture. ‘Our moons just a hunk of rock and it controls tides, but theirs, I believe it actually helps them.’

You blinked, gingerly looking back ahead to see Daniel and the girl fully clothed, politely smiling at each other as their conversation continued, as if nothing had happened. Jack caught your attention too, concern coating his face as he watched your face squirm with distress.

‘Y/N?’ Sam asked, finally registering your silence and taking note of your stiffened posture. She lifted a hand to rest on your shoulder, your whole being flinching at the touch as you pushed yourself to standing. ‘You alright-‘

‘-I need some air,’ you rushed out, storming out of the hut without a second look.

The moment the leather flaps closed behind you, fresh air smacked your face and you greedily inhaled through your nose with every measured step you took away from the hut.

The moon hung low and large in the sky, the previously green grass now a questionable mauve as you adjusted to the hued landscape.

You’d barely taken enough steps to clear the borders before you heard the flaps hitting each other as they opened and closed. Heavy footsteps crunched nearby gravel and you sighed, refusing to turn around so they could make fun of your abrupt exit.

‘I’ll be back in in a minute Sir I just… I just need a second,’ you sighed, hands on your hips as you tried to steady your breathing, the burning lessening slightly with the cool air.

‘Sir?’ Daniel smirked, his tone teasing as you spun around in shock.

‘Shit I-‘ you swallowed, ‘-I thought you were Jack.’ Your hand rubbed your face as you tried a smile, but it didn’t reach your eyes and Daniel grew worried.

‘You okay?’ His voice was low and gravely, as if the smoke inside had been scraping against his throat too. Daniels concern would usually send a bolt right through you, alighting every inner nerve and feeling, but tonight that bolt was tenfold, and it was suffocating.

‘Yeah,’ you grimaced, still trying to calm your soul with the cool air, ‘m’good.’

‘You don’t sound it,’ Daniel tried to joke as he stepped closer, cluelessly squirming you further away. You started to backtrack, noticing a clearing in the forest as your wild eyes cast around the space.

‘I’m fine,’ you insisted, a firm path leading your swaying body away from him. ‘Just … just go back inside!’ Your hand wafted over your shoulder as if you tried to physically shoo him away, and you managed to ignore the calling of your name falling from his lips as you followed the path away into the thick forests darkness.

Daniel hesitated, his feet twisting in the dirt as he glanced over to you, back to the hut, then to the clearing you’d passed. ‘Fuck.’

It wasn’t that he didn’t want to follow you - he’d follow you anywhere - but the high-like sensation he felt fizzling inside him had him concerned for his teammates. He was certain it was the tea making him feel this way, as he ignored the flaming longing that sat familiarly in his chest at your retreating figure.

‘Y/N,’ he called out, following promptly behind you as he batted away the overgrown route you’d decided to take. Jack, Sam and Teal’c would be fine - it was you he was worried about, clearly unwell enough to go stalking into the forest alone to get away from him.

It took a quick minute for him to locate you, your heaving figure leaning against a large mossy trunk, shrouded by lush leaves as the dappled lavender moonlight trickled through. The scene would have been enchanting if it wasn’t for how distressed you seemed.

‘Y/N,’ he breathed, relieved to find you before you straightened and stared at him with a scared and slightly bewildered look, as if you couldn’t place something.

With each blink your vision changed; Daniel before you in his BDU, Daniel naked without his glasses, Daniel in his blue cargos with his glasses, Daniel topless with ruffled hair and glasses askew.

You had to push the heels of your palms into your eyes to dampen the heated thoughts that swelled inside you.

Daniel stepped closer, deeply unsettled by what he was witnessing, his large hand gingerly reaching to caress your wrist to coax you back to him. ‘Y/N-‘

‘-don’t…‘ you smacked his hand away, stepping back towards the trunk as your eyes momentarily dropped to his lips, ‘don’t touch me, please.’

His eyes narrowed on you, your gaze darting around the forest to occupy your focus instead of witnessing the morphing stages of Daniel in front of you.

‘How can I help?’ He offered instead.

‘I feel like I’m going crazy,’ you mumbled, fretting yourself into a hole.

‘Why do you think that?’ Daniel pleaded, his voice soft as he trudged closer, hand desperately trying to reach you as he neared. ‘Y/N, will you look at me?’

‘Please don’t touch me,’ your voice trembled, despite the anger you tried to convey.

Daniel sighed, long and heavy. ‘What is wrong?’ He pushed.

‘I can’t, okay? I can’t look at you…’ you mumbled, head whipping to the side to avoid his stare once more, knowing you’d be nothing but a boiling puddle if you succumbed.

‘Why not?’

‘I… I think it’s the tea, maybe?’ Your face twisting in confusion as you pinched the bridge of your nose.

‘Y/N.’

‘Can you overdose on tea?’ You mumbled more to yourself in a mild panic, your inner monologue sprouting forward as Daniel tried to segue into your rant.

‘Y/N,’ he tried again, voice strained from the effect the moon equally held on him, ‘look at me.’

You squirmed, eyes finally latching onto the lilac orb in the night sky before you groaned.

‘Oh fucks sake,’ you cursed, annoyed at yourself for allowing the phenomenon of their moon to mess with your thoughts.

‘What is it?’ Daniel asked, his annoyance at repeating himself hid well as he simply tried to help you.

You started to side step now, tripping over some roots as your feet fumbled the ground to gain space between you and Daniel. ‘Their- their fucking moon Daniel I… I can’t be around you.’

‘What the hell has their moon got to do with this?’ His tone light as he tried to help you view the humorous side of this situation, his feet moving forwards and matching your pace.

‘Daniel,’ you struggled now, trying to dart around the clearing before he circled round, blocking your exit.

‘Y/N.’

He stood in front of you now, both of you staring at one another as your pupils grew and dilated in sync. It was as if a connection had been made, and your insides burned.

You blinked, inhaling sharply as you attempted to tear your gaze from his pouting lips. Daniel was silent for once as he watched your reaction, slowly registering the sensation in his own body and mind.

‘What did Sam tell you?’ He asked, voice precariously timid as if he wasn’t sure he was fully ready for the answers.

‘Their… their moon has these colour lunar phases,’ you swallowed thickly. ‘Means the tribe is affected by… by each colour.’

‘Okay…’ he drawled out, eyeing the night sky as he pondered out loud, ‘and what does purple mean?’

You winced, a personal battle waging and losing inside you. ‘Purple… means truth.’

He dropped his head at that, a look cast carelessly to your own parted lips before raising back to your eyes.

‘So why can’t I touch you?’ He inhaled sharply through his teeth, the struggle clear behind his features now.

‘Daniel,’ you warned as he advanced closer.

‘No, what is it? Because we’ve touched before when we’ve- we’ve hugged, and held hands,’ his words toppling out.

‘Please,’ you pleaded.

‘Why won’t you let me touch you?’ he rasped, barely a murmur as his fingers managed to hook around your waist.

A searing, white hot flame ignited at his touch, your palms involuntarily raising to his chest to steady you. At the blistering sensation you glimpsed up, detecting how his lips parted and his eyes darkened at your proximity.  You didn’t have the energy to keep him away anymore. You didn’t have the energy to keep denying it. You certainly didn’t have the energy to stop Daniel anymore.

‘I don’t wanna mess with the moon Daniel.’ Your voice was barely above a whisper, but he heard it, chuckling gently at your humour that still simmered beneath the turmoil. His other hand had now found its way to your waist, pinning you against his front as your feet rose to your tip toes, as if your body was subconsciously pushing you closer.

‘What’s your truth then?’ Daniel asked, breathless as he smiled into your face. ‘Purple moon-‘

‘No, I’m … I’m not drunk enough for that,’ you managed, swaying in his hold as you vaguely registered the blurring of your surroundings, everything Daniel being solely in focus.

‘You’re high from their moon,’ he pointed out, eyebrows raised in mock accusation.

‘And that is very different to being drunk-‘

‘Y/N,’ his voice deepened, his face wavering in the space as if unsure whether he could rest his forehead against yours in a comfort you’d usually share, ‘you’re avoiding the question.’

You studied his face, watching how his hooded eyes lowered to your lips again, how his breathing was shallower too, how he continuously wet his lips. The internal magnet within was propelling you forward, fighting every inch of space you refused to relinquish. You could just lean forward-

‘What’s your truth then?’ You asked, turning the attention back to him as you ignored the chill his stroking thumb sent up your spine.

He hummed, finally yielding to know you weren’t going to release anything first.

‘I think you know,’ he blinked, his cryptic response making you stare back in confusion.

‘Huh?’ Not once had Daniel bothered to spare you a glance all evening, so invested in the young thing probably still waiting for him by the fire. The tips of his fingers dug into the flesh of your hips, trying to drive home his point as he tipped his head back in frustration.

‘Come on Y/N,’ he groaned to the sky, flopping his head upright and invading your entire breathing space, his nose lining against yours as you panted against each other lips. ‘You’re a smart girl, you can figure it out.’

As if your body had caved, no fight left in it, you conceded to the fizzing of your bones and burning between your thighs.

‘What is it you’re feeling?’ You asked, the bubbling in your brain forcing all words to rush to the surface in a hurry, ‘right now, in the moonlight, what do you feel?’

Despite being embraced in his arms, a breath away from all your dreams coming true, you were still cautious. The last thing you wanted would be for something to happen while you were both drugged - by the moon no less. Your heavy breathing pushed for some sentient remark to come from Daniel before you finally crossed that line.

‘I … I feel… normal,’ he puffed out, his craving hands pawning all over your body now as yours mimicked his. Despite the lacklustre words and complete confusion on your part, your hands continued as if completely disassociated from the conversation.

‘Normal?’ You breathed, gasping softly as a hand caressed your bum. You couldn’t hide the disappointment in your tone, and Daniel was quick to reply.

‘I always feel like this when I’m around you,’ he hurriedly exhaled.

Something firm and warm pressed into your front, digging in to you with every shunt. ‘Like …this?’ You queried.

‘Yes, well-’ he chuckled before a groan escaped the back of his throat, your hands smoothing across his shoulders and along the sensitive curve of his neck.

‘Always?’ You double checked.

Restless, his hands grabbed your thighs, effortlessly lifting you into his hold as he rammed you against a nearby tree. A choked sound escaped you at the motion, your jaw dropped in awe as Daniel nestled in closer.

‘You… fuck… you set me on fire Y/N,’ his voice strained from restraint, ‘with every tiny thing you do and it drives me fucking crazy.’

‘Daniel…’ you keened, watching as he opened up to you and moved dangerously closer.

‘I like you Y/N,’ he sputtered, ‘always have, and I know that telling you while under the influence of something isn’t ideal but I’m not gonna be able to stop myself if we stay in this position, and I need to be completely honest with you.’

‘I like you too,’ you said in a single breath before smashing your lips to his with a tug from his top.

Breathing ceased between you, and tingles overtook your body as your minds eventually surrendered to the collision of your desires.

Daniel was like a starved man, lips never leaving your skin as he trailed from your whining lips to the delicate crook of your neck that made you sing. His hands couldn’t touch enough of you, his entire weight pinning you to the tree as his fingers swept along your every curve.

Your own hands travelled wherever they could reach, pinching and grabbing whatever you could caress as your bodies throbbed against each other in the violet moonlight.

‘Why does the moon do this?’ Daniel asked, gasping into your mouth as he littered you with kisses. You weren’t quite sure why Daniel was even thinking about that in the moment, your legs hooking tighter around his back as your impatience grew short.

‘Fuck the moon,’ you mumbled in response, pulling him desperately closer as he happily obliged.

‘I’d rather fuck you,’ he growled into your neck, the thought amplifying the wetness currently between your legs.

‘Please,’ you all but begged, Daniel pulling back to watch your face for sincerity. His messy hair and swollen lips had you yearning for him harder, and the brief break from his lips had a wave of realisation wash over the both of you.

‘Is that what you want?’ He murmured, his voice tight as his own awareness seeped into his bones. The cold air mixed with your heated pants in the gap between you, a serene calmness dousing you both as if the moonlight had finally dragged out all your truths.

You bit your lip, your fiery bodies still joined together with a hunger that needed to be fed, and all you could do was nod your head with impure craving.

Daniels eyes lit up, his lips crashing to yours as muffled foreign curse words spilled from him against your flushed skin.

It was as your fingers greedily yanked at his top and belt that he spun you round, dropping to the ground with abandoned wanton as he crushed you against the dirt. Clothes and boots were being ripped from each other, an understanding that you wouldn’t be surprised if you found some extensive wear and tear to your BDU’s in the morning.

Jagged roots and dry rocks scraped your bare back, Daniel dragging you closer as he climbed over you once more, restraining you with his weight as his lips continued to read your entire body.

You mewled and rolled with every sensation he delighted you with, a lewd moan falling from your lips as he trailed lower, settled between your legs and planted a sloppy kiss to your dripping heat.

He ravished you, pulling out every filthy sound he could from you as your toes curled. His fingers stroked your inner thighs, gripping you with bruising force as your hips started to buck, and it was only by kicking him off you did you manage to escape an early finish.

Daniel glared at you, his chin glistening with your slick before you pushed him over, clambering on top as you took his entire length into your mouth. A strangled sound escaped him, an impure, gratifying noise that you continued to yank from him. In the feverish moment, your focus fell on his leaking member, swallowing as much as you could as you continued to devour him.

You had no clue where this dominance had come from, never something you would enforce in the bedroom. Let alone on a first night. Certainly not with the sweet natured Daniel.

But there was very little fight left in the both of you, simply succumbing to your base needs while the moonlight glistened against your sweat-glossed skin.

It was like an electric circuit had been set, the moon was the trigger, and everything was burning and glowing and sparking as planned. ‘We’ll blame the moon,’ you thought.

Daniels hands suddenly gripped your hips, twisting you so smoothly that you barely had a chance to protest the new cardinal position as his mouth latched onto your nub. You sobbed against his cock, primal cries leaving you as he primed a new wave for you, its crest crashing all around you before you could stop it, and soon you were shaking and shuddering against his mouth as your limbs glued to each other in some exotic pretzel.

Even after you’d finished, his tongue didn’t stop, sucking and licking you into another fever dream as you tried to regain control, attempting to bring him down with you as your throat rippled around him. He chanted into your heat, messy kisses and gulps as you both rushed to fulfil the others peak.

The forest blurred soon enough, the entire night sky ablaze with the pastel hue as Daniel found his way back on top of you a few orgasms later.

He smiled dreamily at you, his cheeks ravaged in a flushed red as he settled between your legs, your hips tipping back almost subconsciously at this point as he slid in. There was no resistance, his jaw dropping open at the sensation of your tight walls clenching around him, and his eyes rolled back, a contented sigh slipping out as you moaned with him.

By the time he’d bottomed out, his eyes had fallen back to you, something darker and deeper dancing in the blue of his gaze as his lips captured yours in a soft, almost loving kiss. His tongue traced yours, lapping against you as his hips started to move, and with each thrust his groans deepened, and your moans heightened.

The way your body’s rolled against each other was almost kismet-like, the ease and synchronicity of your movements so natural, it was like you’d been doing this for years.

Except, you’d both only been dreaming of this for years.

The moon had managed to prise from each of you your darkest truths; that you wanted each other.

While you had witnessed Daniel seemingly ravaging the girl in the tent, he’d equally envisioned the huge loss of you leaving the tent, clothes forgone as you pushed against the leather flaps. The stolen glances all evening had been witnessed by all, except the participants, the smoky fire and sweet tea distracting you both from realising it.

You relished in the moment, twisting in the throes of passion as Daniel fucked you into the dirt, his hips snapping mercilessly into you as he wrenched peak after peak from you.

You had captivated him, an endurance he’d never experienced suspending him in this moment. He probably should have cared that you were both bare in the woods, on an unknown planet during a celestial phenomenon, but he didn’t. Instead, he continued to grip your wrists, your breasts, your bum, anything accessible as you cried out beneath him, both of you eventually stilling when the moon began to descend.

~ ~ ~

The piercing yellow of the high sun blinded you through the pale canvas of the tent. You squinted, glancing around as you recognised the SGU gear around you, an unfamiliar ache residing between your legs. Your hand lifted to wipe your eyes, swiping some hair from your face as a chill crossed your chest. Looking down you jumped, recognising your naked body crumbled within a khaki green sleeping bag.

Your brain started to wake up then, and as you shifted up onto an elbow, a deep groan sounded out behind you, your head whipping over your shoulder to witness Daniel slowly waking up, sharing the same sleeping bag.

You clutched the material against your front, fear suddenly brewing within you as last nights events slowly seeped forward, and whether Daniel would regret any of it.

He stirred awake, his eyes blinking open slowly before they finally settled on you, his hands fumbling for his glasses nearby as he remarked you with a soft smile once they donned his face.

‘G’morning,’ he mumbled, his voice raspy as not an ounce of regret crossed his features. In fact, he looked like a very satisfied man. His gaze then landed on your back, a warm finger gently tracing along the scuffs that now marred your once clear skin.

‘Morning,’ you whispered back, a wave of shyness overcoming you as you fully registered how exposed you were…or had been.

Daniel shuffled closer, cautiously placing a kiss to your shoulder as he held your eyes, a blush reddening your cheeks at the gesture.

‘How are you feeling?’ He mumbled against your skin, his hand slyly slipping round your front to pull you closer. Your mouth parted at the smooth move, his equally naked body now lining against you once more as his lips petted up and up.

‘Good,’ you managed, finding the nerve to turn over in the sleeping bag, nestling back on to your side with the cover pulled high to your collarbone. ‘You?’

‘Very good,’ he smiled, his hand still finding a way to trickle along your hips, raising goosebumps at the touch.

‘Yeah?’ You grinned, a tug of his hand sliding you along the nylon base of the sleeping bag with ease, a familiar hardness pressing into you again.

‘Mhmm,’ he hummed, eyes dropping to your bruised lips as he slowly leaned in.

‘DANIEL!’ Jack called outside the tent, a scramble of the sleeping bag being thrown over your head as you heard the entrance zipping open.

‘Um uh… hey Jack,’ Daniel tried nonchalantly, Jacks momentary silence evidently due to the muffled lump beside Daniel’s topless body.

‘Are you getting up or what?’ Jack sighed, certainly aggravated from the late start to the day.

‘Yeah yeah, just…I’ll be out in a minute,’ Daniel got out, trying to level his voice as he started to feel your heated fingertips trace down his chest.

‘Ok then,’ he argued, exiting the tent in a huff as you slid back into the open after the zip.

You bit your lip, muffling the laughter that threatened to escape as you and Daniel stared at each other with a renewed lust. His eyes had gotten darker if it were possible, and with a smooth tip of his head, his lips captured yours in a passionate display.

You pulled away as you felt him throb, certain you could not handle a Round Two when you were already running behind.

Your fingers found themselves against the smooth expanse of his chest instead, admiring the person before you as he did the same.

‘Do you regret it?’ You asked, knowing you wouldn’t be able to start your day without properly addressing last night.

Immediately he was shaking his head, a soft chuckle leaving him as he hardened his resolve.

‘Not at all.’

Another kiss sprouted between you, heated pets and pawning fingers growing greedier by the second before Daniel pulled back.

‘Although I do want to take you out on a proper date.’

‘You do?’ You weren’t sure why you sounded so surprised. He’d fucked you senseless for hours last night, but clearly wanting a date was too far fetched,

‘Yeah,’ he grinned back, ‘I mean I don’t know about you… but I don’t usually do half of the things we did last night on a first date.’

‘Oh me neither,’ you agreed, kissing him again with a sigh.

‘Hey Y/N!’ Jack banged on the canvas of the tent, your lips yanking back with a swollen smack. ‘Tell Daniel he needs to get up.’

You swallowed a giggle, dropping your head against his chest as Daniel heaved in mixed relief and annoyance.

‘Oh and Carters looking for you too, so CHOP CHOP!’ He yelled, his retreating shadow diminishing against the tent as you both rolled your eyes.
